Also I solved it, a really stupid error in the Widget (see below)...
I actually solved it, a weird error in Streamlabs' chat-box Widget.
On the top of the page, there is something called 'Theme', mine was 'Default' because it is the... default.
And making a NEW Theme, with IDENTICAL Settings (and Custom CSS changes), it now works. For SOME reason. Just crazy...
And a friend of mine, who just started streaming, it works just fine for him showing badges.
Was interested, checked my FIRST stream, 2023-08-17, it didn't even work since from back then... 😂 😭

Streamlabs Mobile currently cannot stream to TikTok as it used the old integration which no longer works. The updated integration, like that in Streamlabs Desktop, is supposedly coming to Streamlabs Mobile but there is no ETA on when that will happen. I'm not aware of an iPad app that will do what you're wanting.

I'm not familiar with Beacn but if you had a Windows Cumulative update applied recently, it has likely changed your audio device ID's so I'd make sure that the correct audio devices are selected in your setup.

Yeah, after 2 hours of trouble shooting that's all it was. On another note, I have an older stream package I got from VBI 5ish years ago that I never used, and it was setup to run on OBS at the time. I found the old files and would love some help in getting the entire package setup on streamlabs. Is there anyone you'd suggest that could help me with that?

If you still have the instructions, they will work for Streamlabs Desktop. Streamlabs Desktop is built from the open source of OBS Studio.
Dropped Frames is a network issue between you and the ingest. This is easy to diagnose with Twitch as there's a tool but there isn't one for YouTube.
Are you perhaps streaming and recording or are you only streaming?

It worked before then all tye sudden it like disconnected and kept trying to reconnect so I just ended the live stream tried to do it again and it started this
About the only thing I can suggest is try to use the YouTube Backup Server. If you still have dropped frames, the only other thing I can suggest is to make sure no one else in the home is uploading anything and if you have any fileserver software running on your PC, I'd stop that application.
You could also try shutting down your PC, pull the power cord from the cable modem, leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, then plug the power cord back in, once the cable modem is fully back up, boot up your PC and try again.
Log out and then log back in ans see if that helps.

Are you connected via an ethernet cable to your cable modem?
yup ethernet to my pc like i said never had this problem till today
when using a command thats response uses variables that do {target.user} must the variable also be in the command itself?
If you've got a spare ethernet cable, swap it out and try again. Only other thing I can suggest is contacting your ISP and see if they can run some diagnostics on your connection from their end and see if they notice any issues.
ive already called them to diagnose and there isnt any issue with there services and ethernet cable is brand new put it in 4 days ago

Only other thing I can suggest is, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings → Advanced → Network and ensure Bind to IP is set to Default.

I can't think of anything else to suggest. How many dropped frames are we talking about? Is it like 1 or 2 percent over the whole stream or does it just drop frames over the wold stream?
after 2-3 mins it drops to 15 percent sometimes to 26% first time its ever done that no matter what ingest server

yes did 8 test back to back and all were the same results 500 downlaod and 20 upload
with apps open like i would be streaming and it was fine

I once had this issue and I was recording and streaming but was saving the recording to a network drive. You don't have that so that's not an issue for you.
There's a high ticket volume recently and its taking the staff a while to work through it. Just be patient and they will get to you.
Dropped Frames is an uncommon issue for YouTube.

hello i just got streamlabs ultra and it completely messed up my streamlabs desktop and tipping. any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? some examples of how its messed up is I've lost all history of donations as well as streamlabs desktop now says i have zero apps installed and I am unable to install any new ones.

I just came to use the Streamlabs console. I set an overlay. I turned on the warning box. with the setting on the website of streamlabs. and that the same thing happens with the chat only as soon as I click on the memory scene. if someone enters something in the chat or if someone follows, it doesn't come into view. while I've turned it on. how can that be.

You're using Cloudbot or Chatbot? You posted in both Discords.
It looks like you successfully refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. That will not go back and capture any events that were missed. Events are sent only one time over the API and if they are missed, they are missed. You should get events going forward from here.
@gritty isle sorry that i posted it in two channels. I dont understand youre question. I just use streamlabs console and want to see my twitch chat in my livestteam i have enabled it but it dosnt work the same with the alertbox

Please go into your Account Settings on the Streamlabs Console web site and connected the Streamlabs Widget (1st image), and then select the Chat component and enable the Use Streamlabs Settings option (2nd image).

I'm facing a slight issue where my recent events are not updating so, it does not alert me when I have received a new follow
Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch will resolve this.
NOTE 👉 This disconnect process will not go back and capture events that were missed. Events are sent over the API only once and if they are missed, they are missed forever. Going forward from once you reconnected by logging back in, Streamlabs should capture events from Twitch.

Do this again when you end your stream. Since you were live, the old connection is still in use.
Valorant is refusing to start w streamlabs open, i tried everything, open as admin, no optimizations, performance mode, graphics settings on high priority. Legit everything.
I even tried opening it then opening streamlabs, it works until streamlabs opens. I googled and found nothing, i even asked chatgpt for help.
Due to compatibility issues with certain anti-cheat systems, Game Capture source may not work with some games, including Valorant.
👉 As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead!
To do that, follow these steps:
- Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
- Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode
- Add a new Window Capture source
- Select your game from the window list
- Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"
no its not that its not recording, the game isnt starting at all. Its just freezing literally. When I open the game first then I open streamlabs the game works up until streamlabs is open

Add a new Window Capture source

Yup that worked, w spotify as well. thank you so much. I have one more issue, i have an nvidia card but the nvidia broadcast option isnt showing up when I wanna add filter > noise suppression. I have both broadcast and Nvidia drivers installed (including HD audio drivers)
I rather do it in streamlabs cuz the pos software isnt opening on startup even tho its checked to do that

I'd maybe uninstall Broadcast, reboot your PC, install Broadcast, reboot your PC again, and then test.
broadcast is very weird. I have run on startup turned on in the software and it still doesnt run so my streamlabs input is quiet and it confuses me every single time. If I dont start it manually it simply wont show up as an input device anywhere

i had been usign the free version for a few months
When my ultra went through, I had to log out of stream labs, then log back in for it to pick up my ultra.
When you go into account settings on the website and then into Platforms, can you link your tiktok there?

i have two email address and one was workign and conencted to tiktok ..working .. and wanted to upgrade to ultra ..been trying for 3 days .. so finally decided i would sue the other account out of frustration
with my original account .. i can log into app and then from there go to desktop browser version but if i try and log into the original account .. this is what it says

Hello community, I am using Streamlabs on my iPhone and even when I rotate my phone, the aspect ratio of my YT Livestream stays the same. Is there a solution to this? Or is this not possible to adjust on the iPhone app?

The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

You're welcome. It might not show that button when Streamer Mode is enabled. Quit Streamlabs Desktop and see if that helps.

Typically this issue is resolved by refreshing your connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. Can you follow the steps to do so then try a new stream?
To Disconnect Your Twitch Account:
- Log out of Streamlabs.com and Streamlabs Desktop as well as any other apps such as Streamlabs Chatbot, Streamlabs Mobile, Streamlabs Console or Streamlabels
- Log into your Twitch account and go to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
- Scroll down to "Other connections" at the bottom and you will find Streamlabs Console/Studio and click "Disconnect"
- After clicking "disconnect" log back into Streamlabs Console with your Twitch then hit "authorize" when you've gone through the process
- Once fully logged in, check to make sure the Streamlabs Console/Studio connection shows as "connected minutes ago": in Other Connections

not mine its a larger stream i edit and moderate for. but yes multiple users are using the streamlab link to try to donate and its just constantly loading across multiple devices and browsers. I have had it up in chrome, firefox, and edge to test for over 40 minutes with no loading.

because of my settings are broken and when i reinsall streamlabsa again my settings are broking
- Quit Streamlabs OBS.
- Copy: " %appdata% " then Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then Press Enter.
- This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see " slobs-client ".
- Rename it to " _slobs-client ".
- Restart SLOBS as Administrator when launching.

You should be able to set you own alerts! Try to redo it form scratch

Streamlabs has no capability to anything for or with Twitch Channel Points.
understood. but if when someone redeems twitch channel points and the reward is for a song clip to be played on stream (which works with Twitch), shouldn't the sound clip just pass through automatically to streamlabs? guess I don't understand why it's not working.
you can use an external program to do this. I recommend you to have a look into Streamer.bot
i use it for channel points and works like a charm, also you have lots of videos on youtube to explain how to set it up.

thanks for the recommendation. it's just very confusing to me because I had this exact same reward that played on air perfectly when I stream with Lightstream. Now if a viewer redeems the reward in Twitch, it says in chat they redeemed it, but nothig plays

There's no way to do that directly in Streamlabs Desktop, since it's not a video editor. You could use the Streamlabs Video Editor though!

Your Output Resolution is set for the vertical format.
Go to Settings > Video and then at Output Resolution, swap the values.
For example, if it shows 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.

Make sure the Alert Duration matches the length of the select sound. If the Alert Duration is longer, the sound will repeat to fill the Alert Duration.

Don't choose Subscriptions. Choose Other. The promotion is not related with Stremalabs Console. This would mis-route your ticket to the wrong queue, thus delaying things.

Apparently that 'Theme'-change, lead to OTHER problems that I noticed in yesterday's stream...
It's not just another theme/settings of the chat-box, it's a GLOBAL change that change General Settings, Follow/Raid/Bits/Subs and their sounds/text/animations... It's been a looooot of copying and making sure it's the same in the new 'Theme', as the old one, that didn't work with the chat-box 😩

In LAN streaming, there is an option to swap X and Y so you can get 1080x1920 or 720x1280
I noticed that streaming to Tik Tok or LAN Streaming, the video is sent as 9:16, but RTMP always forces letterboxed 16:9 with black bars on the left and right.
I could technically stream in 4K and crop off the excess to get more vertical resolution, but it'll drain my battery faster.

I've been streaming on tiktok via tiktok live but really want to multistream with streamlabs. I am all set up but don't know where I can find my stream key and url. Googling and youtube videos have been no help. What they say is old and doesn't work. Ideas?
You could apply for the Streamlabs tiktok live access by following this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-go-live-on-tiktok. If you can already go live on tiktok with the tiktok studio typically they accept pretty quick. then you don't need to worry about any of that other stuff

Good morning! Trying to set up my end credits widget. I have the setting for Roll Credits on Page Load toggled on, however, when I switch between 2 scenes it does not roll. It sounds like there should be a button on the app with Roll Credits Live that I only see on the browser dashboard. Am I missing something?

Is the one with the black screen Twitch? If so, make sure their bitrate isn’t exceeding 6000, which the maximum allowed by Twitch.
