Hello, I have a problem. I have recently stopped being able to see any subs on Streamlabs. I received 19 in my last stream. They were not shown in the alert box and they are not shown in the recent events either. I have already reconnected all but it still doesn't work... I would kindly ask for your help.

Good morning I was having a issue yesterday while streaming . I was live streaming on YouTube and the chat bot from Streamlabs just froze and no new commments were showing up I tried to delete the bot and add it again and I had nothing but a blank box . We done a test on Twitch and The chat box was showing my test comments but nothing on YouTube is this a issue with YouTube??
They are spam bots. Report and ignore. This server has a bot infestation right now

Yea it was strange … I was streaming and the chat box was fine yup until the middle of my stream it froze so I removed the old link and tried it again but then I wasnt getting anything so another friend of mine tried the same thing on his YouTube channel with a up coming stream and his was doing the same then we both tried twitch and the comments were coming through fine

Hm... I'm not aware of any known issues with the chatbox/YouTube at the moment! I can always send some troubleshooting steps your way, and we can see if those help.
To confirm, are you using Streamlabs Desktop, OBS Studio, or a different streaming service? (This will just help me send you the right steps)
I think this was in response to my message - I'm sorry those steps didn't help. What is your Twitch username? I can check into this further on my end.

Before you go live again, are you able to try these steps?
- Clear your OBS Studio browser cache
-Close OBS Studio
-Hit the Windows key + R
-Paste the following and hit enter: %appdata%/obs-studio/plugin_config/obs-browser
-Delete the Cache folder - Reload your widgets. To do this, go to this page here: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents > go to the "Live Actions" tab > scroll to the bottom and click "Reload widgets"
- Follow the steps in this guide here: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account for YouTube
- Delete > re-add your chatbox source to OBS Studio one more time

Correct, yes! You can re-connect by going to Streamlabs.com and logging in with YouTube. That should reconnect it for you. 👍

To do this, go to this page here: https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest to install the test. You'll want to enter your Twitch stream key (you can get this from your Twitch account settings), then run the test with a "Medium" duration. You'll want to choose your region (North America, etc.), then you should be all set to run the test.

I see, okay! It sounds like you either have a duplicate source or an audio setting is set improperly in OBS Studio.
Do you only have one alert box source in your scene?

Need to run that on all the ingests in your region, not only the one closest to you but so far, the quality score of zero is the problem. So please run again and choose all the ingests in the US.
the irriatating part of this is i streamed for basically every week so far this year havent changed anything and now all the sudden having issues with both Streamlabs and OBS
This is an issue between you and the ingest, it could be something changed internally at your ISP. It’s not a software issue.
It could be a bad connector outside where the cable comes in your dwelling.
wish it was that simple only reason im thinking it isnt is everything else is running perfectly fine
Are you getting zero quality results for every ingest?
Yeah, I’d reach out to your ISP and tell them you’re trying to stream to Twitch and are getting disconnected. Be patient, sometimes they hear “stream” and think you are trying to watch Netflix. It also might take multiple calls to get the problem tracked down. I had this issue years ago and indeed they found several broken connectors on the side of my apartment building.
If the issue is only present in OBS Studio, I would recommend reaching out to OBS Studio support for further assistance. The alert seems to be working as intended on Streamlabs.com, so they can assist in narrowing down which audio setting may need to be adjusted within the software.

They can check the status of your modem or connection remotely?
The only thing I can think of, is do you have an MSI motherboard? Since you said it just started last week, if I recall correctly, I wouldn’t think you do. MSI used to install network traffic monitoring and shaping software that can cause this issue. If you don’t have an MSI motherboard, the yeah, definitely have a truck roll. Just to verify there are no physical issues at your end.

In Streamlabs Desktop, please log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.
Then go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.
If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.
If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

is there anyway i can easily change the res of the canvas, example: wanna go live on twitch only it will be atleast 1920x1080 but if i only wanna go live on Tiktok it will be 1080x1920 is there a way to do that or is it a thing where ill just have to manually do it
Press Windows-R, type in cmd in the Run box and click Ok. Then in the black box that pops up, type ipconfig.

Make sure your sample rate set in Streamlabs Desktop matches what they device is set to in Windows. Also make sure you have any enchantments like Turbo Bass, 7.1 sound, etc, turned off.

I have no idea why but every time I try to set my sound alerts through the desktop version of Streamlabs it un does all my work and wont accept the new changes. It's really frustrating. And it also wont let me upload any sound files. It keeps saying "Error could not upload" Despite it being the right format of file and proper file size.
Any idea how to fix this?

I'm having an issue where, no matter what I do, when I try and stream R6 I get a black screen. I tried running it windowed borderless, I tried doing screen capture, anything I could, tried changing my hook rate and other settings, I can not. stream. siege. I am having an issue with streaming to my twitch account. I click the Go Live button everything loads up and says I am streaming but when I go to my channel all it gets is a video decoding Error #3000 message and a black screen. I have tried every pretty much every single thing to resolve it and even reached out to twitch support which told me it was a streamlabs issue. If anyone knows how to resolve this it would be greatly appreciated!

I've logged out everywhere and back in but my alerts aren't coming through or updating on my recent events dashboard or coming through on my stream even though when checking my account settings, the new twitch name is showing up as my connected account. How does someone get sound alerts to come through as its own sound source?

The discord streamkit overlay ( https://streamkit.discord.com/overlay ) seems to have stopped working and is not coming through in streamlabs.
Neither the basic one without any custom CSS and extra stuff in the browser source, or one with custom CSS for PNG avatars.
It was working fine the other day.
I have tried rebooting streamlabs, tried redoing the browser source, tried different VC's in discord.

are the airpods being picked up in the audio settings of the computer
if so sometimes you have ot change it to the airpods look then look at the audio settings see what the volume is on and turn it up sometimes all the way

If your audio is muting when you launch Streamlabs Desktop and you're using a Bluetooth headset, it's caused by the underlying design of Bluetooth. Bluetooth headsets typically have two modes: stereo audio (A2DP) and headset (HFP - Hands-Free Profile). These two profiles have separate audio devices on the computer side.
When you have Streamlabs Desktop set to activate a Bluetooth headset's microphone, this will cause the headset to automatically switch to HFP mode, as A2DP is a lower priority. Your audio mutes because it is still being sent to the A2DP device instead of the HFP device.
To fix this, you either switch to a wired headset, don't use the Bluetooth headset's mic, or set your sound to go through the HFP device for your headset. Can you try disabling the mic within your Windows Audio Devices for your Bluetooth headset and check to see if this helps?

Your Output Resolution is set for the vertical format.
Go to Settings > Video and then at Output Resolution, swap the values.
For example, if it shows 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.

Yes, I have tried and messed with every setting. I am so confused. Audio is just broken on every app I try. Obs and Steamlabs. I watch videos on youtube on how to fix it and even when they first download Streamlabs, the audio levels are fluxiating. Mine has never moved

Check the Windows Volume Mixer (in the System Tray), drag the window horizontally wide so you can see all the devices. Make sure nothing there is muted.

If audio is not working in both OBS Studio and Streamlabs Desktop, the issue would seem to be on your system. I would double check your Windows Sound Settings.

Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

That's like 85% of your upload speed, there isn't enough bandwidth left to actually game.
so what would i had to use and it bad to have a low bit rate
I would honestly call your ISP and see why your upload is so low, it generally isn't that low with a 300 down connection. If you can get it to 10+ reliably, you will have better connections and can go up in your stream quality.
For now, dropping your bitrate to at most 1/2 of your upload (1500 for you), and that will give you some wiggle room. That's going to put your stream at 480p30fps to not drop frames.

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

-Quit OBS Studio.
-Hit windows key + R.

-Launch OBS Studio again.
-Add the Browser Source for the Alert Box back where you need it. Also make sure that the Browser Source is at the top of the Source list.
-Replay old alerts. You should see them in the OBS Studio preview window.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:
- Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
- Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Find the default apps section

To disconnect your Twitch account from your old Streamlabs account:
- Open Streamlabs and log into your account.
- Go to the Settings (gear icon) in the lower-left corner.
- Click on Account in the settings menu.
- Under the Account Linking section, find Twitch.
- Click Disconnect next to the Twitch account.
- Confirm the disconnection when prompted.
This will unlink your old Twitch account. You can then link a new account if needed.

Hey I am on streamlabs console, the window that lets you upload and select images is cut in half. So I can't confirm any images or borders, or add any fun little gifs. Hi guys, I use streamlabs stream labels v0.6.2 - I wonder if this is the cause of my alert box not working correctly the other day.
I'm an IRL streamer and my PC at home runs as my server and runs this local program so it can update text overlays (ex 0/20 daily sub goal increases to 1/20 after a sub)... I could see gifted subs and raids in my twitch chat, but the alerts were not being triggered. Unsure if the overlay worked in OBS, but the alert box certainly wasn't working off my IRL phone to play the sounds and my event list (logged in on streamlabs website on my phone... and my event list on my streamlabels once I remote accessed my server to look) weren't showing anything except my bittie alerts...

I'm unsure if it is fixed unless I gift a sub to someone randomly before I go live tonight... do I need to spend to check it? What could have caused this? I haven't gone into my alert box settings to turn off sub alerts, donations, raids etc... and I've checked that they aren't turned off.
I've looked at my recent event filters, and everything is ticked apart from 'Minimum [blank] months' and 'Integrations - Twitch Charity Donations'?

Hmmmmm, okay. This Kick integration is fairly new, and I can't find any mention of this happening with Kick. I would either wait for #vip-support to open up or submit a ticket here: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Not entirely sure how to troubleshoot this issue.
Streamlabs Console only works with Twitch; it is not capable of setting a custom destination.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.
You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.
Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

- For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
- For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.

- For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
- For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.

Hey guys so my cpu usage has always been very low… like idling without streaming it would stay at 0.8-1.4 percent and when streaming would maybe sometimes jump to 4-4.5 percent…about a month ago out of nowhere it’s started showing 8 percent and when streaming jumping up to 14 percent at times …I’ve looked at the website and tried all the tricks and nothing changes. Does anyone know what has caused this?

You can do that in the Confirm & Go Live window.
Let's check a few settings.
At Settings > Output > Recording, is the Recording Path a valid path and can you create files in that folder?
At Settings > Advanced > Video, is the Color Format set to NV12, the YUV Color Space set to Rec. 709, and the YUV Color Range set to Limited?
At Settings > Advanced > Recording, is the Filename Formatting set to %CCYY-%MM-%DD %hh-%mm-%ss?
Back at Settings > Output > Replay Buffer, is the Replay Buffer enabled? If so, disable it.
One customer was able to resolve this by emptying the contents of their Windows temp folder.

Stream labs console on every device I try it on only loads me on a white page. They took out the monthly fee this month so it's not that and now I can't stream at all . It's only that page to every other page works but the stream labs console login page

I request some help. I've set up the Streamlabs Chatbot, connected the streamer and bot account, connected it to the OBS and started making commands. First I made a shoudout command which works. Then I made a discord timer, put it on stream chat and set up the internal timer to 5 minutes to test it. So far it's not working. 5 minutes pass and the command timer doesnt activate. Is there a reason why? Do you need to be live for it to work?

I do believe some commands have to be live to work.
Normal commands seem to work without going live. Is that not a case with timed commands?

I am having an issue with my streamdeck with streamlab desktop. When using the streamlab plugin for streamdeck and adding a toggle source button, it only toggles the horizontal source not the vertical source. Is there a fix for that?

@sharp cargo The staff sees that you have custom code enabled on you alerts. They can preview your alerts without issue. I'd suggest disabling the custom code and see if that resolves your issue or not.

Yes! That's possible!
- Go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
- Click Filter Events. Uncheck everything except for Follow.
- Copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in that URL.
- Go back to the Filter Events button, uncheck Follow and check everything else.
- Copy the Widget URL and add a new Browser Source (don't reuse the existing one 😉 ) and paste in that URL.
- Viola!

Are you using a capture card? So just needed some advice what to do next, I use streamlabs for alert box, first time yesterday alerts were not displaying in the browser source on obs during live stream (also at the same time not showing in activity feed on streamelements but I’ve sorted that out), obviously the test alert function works fine and alerts send as it just sends a string out; don’t really know if there’s a way for me to test live alerts except when they happen during a stream? Done all the usual, logging in and out, deleting and readding the browser source, though I haven’t been live since yesterday so can’t really test

Hi, I have error 423 trying to stream on YT when cretaing or trying to connect to existing event. Uaing mobile version, I havw ultra.
Anyone else having an issue with alerts? I hear them but my viewers don't. They see em and everything but dont hear the audio of the alerts.

-Log out of Streamlabs Mobile, Streamlabs.com, and any other Streamlabs product/service that you may be signed into

- Go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Advanced > Audio > ensure you have a device selected for "audio monitoring device" (This will be the headphones/speakers you listen to your audio through)
- Double-click your alert box source > click the "Advanced" tab > check the box for "Control audio via Streamlabs Desktop"
Can you try testing your alerts after those two steps and let me know if testing allows the audio bars to move? 🤔

This typically happens after Windows updates/if your Streamlabs audio devices need to be reset due to any changes in devices/drivers/etc. It's not always clear to know exactly which. 🤔 You can also check your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Audio to ensure the correct Desktop Audio Device is selected, too, as that can sometimes cause issues with the audio being routed properly.
So the audio is now outputting as intended? If you test a recording, does the alert audio come through?
Are there any built-in animation features in SL-Desktop, or do I need to create & save an animated graphic then build it in as a Media File source?
Broadcasting JUCO baseball and would like to have an animated "HOME RUN" graphic come in overtop of the scorebug, flash, then disappear when activated via a StreamDeck button.

Can you try the steps below to see if they help?
First, please delete your game capture and close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: unknown.png). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.
Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

You already have the Output Resolution set to 1920x1080, you don't need to rescale 1920x1080 to 1920x1080 a second time. Please uncheck both these options. Then click on the drop down menu for Encoder and screen shot all the options.

The issue itself was marked as resolved by our team, and this fix resolved the issue for experiencing the problem at that time. If the issue has come back up, I would imagine it's completely unrelated/something different.

so i'm trying to stream from my xbox.. did i just sign up to pay $30 a month for ultra, spend hours setting up my stream in streamlabs desktop, then spend hours crashing out trying to get my xbox to send the stream to streamlabs, just to find out that streamlabs console is a thing and there's only like 6 ugly boring basic themes i can use?
I have been trying to add a game capture for a day now and nothing has worked despite working so smoothly 2 years prior. I remember a square would pop up and you could move it around but that isn't here, and no game will be captured. This is what shows up when i try to add it. Any advice?

hi, i dont know why my alerts arent working anymore, it just broke, ive been trying to fix it for days, but cant figure out whats wrong, best guess is that the alerts arent updating because ive had a few follows but the last thing it shows is a few bits that was sent as a test, i try refreshing the recent events but nothing happens, does anyone know any possible fixes?

Hello, sorry to disturb. I wanted to buy an ultra subscription to be able to stream from my xbox on twitch since I've been hearing about streamlab for a long time. I started with the trial but seeing that I didn't have access to the applications and themes, I switched to the monthly subscription.

hello i have purchased stream labs ultra 3 days ago and it has been working fine, before i was going live today i logged out of stream labs and logged back in, when i logged in it was telling me i no longer had stream labs ultra, i then checked the online account to check memberships and subscriptions and it does not show at all and no recent payments, even though the payment was taken!. i then checked stream labs app on my desktop and it was show as if i had ULTRA and then told me i had to purchase the ultra again. does anyone know?

Hey there! While you're setting up/editing your scene, you should be able to click "Layers" towards the top-right corner > hit the + sign to add a layer, go to "Add a custom item" > then "add custom text". 
good afternoon, I am having issues with my mic and camera, both are connected correctly, but sometimes the mic does work while the video is working and vice versa. I have to go in and out of settings to finagle it to work. Is there a fix for this?

I have a very strange issue with the Continuity Camera feature. As you can see in the attatched screenshots, my video playback appears green in the streamlabs desktop app, but normal when checking the source. The green playback even persists when streaming via twitch. My computers internal webcam works just fine, but since I'm using an old iMac, the quality is trash, and the angle is extremely boring. I tried to search up a solution to the problem, but since I used the words "green", "video", and "camera", the search engine brought up tips for using/setting up a green screen. I am running macOS sonoma (updating to sequoia is not an option for me), and my phone is an iPhone 12 pro running IOS 18.3.1.

Click the Refresh Chat button at the top of the embedded chat dock. If that doesn't help, in Streamlabd Desktop, log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.

is anyone having any streamlabs obs and sonar issues lately? I last streamed on thursday and everything was fine, my computer updated over the weekend, and now the sonar stream channel isn't registering in streamlabs obs mixer. The only thing that I changed was my camera settings, which was just changing the resolution from 720p 30 to 1080p 60.
I don't know if this is a sonar issue or a streamlabs obs issue, tbh. anyone else running into an issue like this?

Hi there! Brand new to the discord and tried to find an answer in the previous messages so, apologies if I missed it!
I'm trying to work out how to split my audio sources, so that discord output is split from my desktop output? I stream collaboratively with friends and they call in from discord, and in the past I was able to have their audio on a separate source than the game/desktop audio (the source devices were something akin to "Headphones" and "Desktop" or "Game" or something like that). I believe streamlabs may have updated as I'm unable to do that anymore, and instead all game/desktop/discord audio is being delegated into the "headphones" device which is really frustrating. Usually when I boot up streamlabs and check my mic/audio settings, it gives me this random string of numbers (to be posted after this message). Once I go to change that, the options it's currently giving me are "Arctis Nova" (my headphones), "High Definition Audio Device" (my laptop's speakers), "Speakers (Steam Streaming Microphone)", "Speakers (Steam Streaming Speakers)", "Line (Voicemod)" [my microphone].
I have found some ways to work around this, like going into the game audio and changing the volume, but I have no way to separate the audio without installing third party programs which I'd rather not do as they can be sketchy and difficult to work with. Help?
This is the aforementioned string of letters/numbers that shows up when I boot up streamlabs
That string of numbers indicates your PC applied a Windows Update which changed your device ID numbers. You will need to reselect your audio devices. This is due to Windows Update. Its not a broke with Streamlabs Desktop.

Use custom ingest and insert your kick stream info. It will work that way for now.
I just spent n hour or so trying to fix kick myself.
Quick question I contacted support about 6 hours ago. I went to purchase ultra and tried to purchase it 2 times and realized my credit card thought it was a suspicious purchase so I had to confirm that it was me. After I went back to the dashboard to log in it wont let me saying it "can't complete request contact support". Im assuming my account was flagged for multiple failed payments or something. Does anyone have like an estimate on how long streamlab support takes to respond?

my chat bot does not work, I just need the timers to work and that is it. I have the chat bot as a moderator, I have it activated and I have my timers in intervals of 15 and 20 and none of them come up, sometimes they come up in random times but thats it and then they stop coming up

So basically i had obs however it made my mic echo like crazy but so I could stream on twitch I got streamlabs obs but after releasing that obs was not working for me I decided to to switch to streamlabs because I liked what they offered from the obs version so I downloaded it and every thing went smoothly until the part were it say finish I clicked on the finish button then it said something about streamlabs obs (don’t remember off the top of my head) and then it made me delete the desktop version so I tried it again same thing then I deleted obs Same thing the I deleted the obs version SAME thing then I deleted streamlabs and then downloaded it again SAME THING so I have no idea what going on so if you know what happened please help
Without some screen shots, I would have no idea. Sounds like you’re stating that you installed Streamlabs Desktop and perhaps you had an old version of Streamlabs Desktop (previously called Streamlabs OBS) installed so it uninstalled that. And installing Streamlabs Desktop will never force you to remove OBS Studio. Both of those can live just fine on your system, as they do on mine.
That appears to be a shortcut to the an old version. It’s okay to remove the shortcut. That’s Windows doing that, not Streamlabs Desktop. Windows is unable to find the target of that shortcut.
Hi, I am having issues streaming to tiktok, twich stream works fine, tiktok gives an "failed to connect to streaming server, please check your internet connection" have tried unmerging and merging again and going trought the general troubleshooting proccess.
If you're logged in with Twitch, I'd log out and log in with TikTok, sounds perhaps like the TikTok OAuth token might need a refresh.
If you're logged in with TikTok, log out, wait a minute, and then log back in.
If you still have this issue, go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP.
If the drop-down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default.
If the drop-down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.
Tried the above steps, still the same error.

yes, tried that and tried vice-versa
didnt change anything, restarting router and completely changing the IP adress also didnt change a thing

I've never seen this error pop up before when it wasn't affecting all platforms, so this is very interesting. I'd like to have you try some troubleshooting steps for TikTok to see if this helps:
- Log out of Streamlabs Desktop
- Go to Streamlabs.com > go to this page here: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms
- Click "Unmerge" next to TikTok
- Refresh the page
- Re-merge TikTok
- Log back into Streamlabs Desktop with your TikTok credentials
- If you are running any active VPNs or anti-virus software, please disable them while testing

Here I am with the updates, Logging out, unmerging did not work, no VPNs, tried disabling the anti-virus, nothing. Streamlabs is allowed trough firewall. In addition to all this I tried reinstalling the complete Security and Health setup from Windows to make sure the connection is not being blocked. Did not work.

What is your recording/streaming resolution set at? Also if you are using a software like NVIDIA broadcast make sure to add that as your microphone, not your actual microphone.

Please change your downscale filter to lanczos. Bilinear can cause the video to be blurry when there is a lot of moving.

That looks good to me. I do see some pixelation during motion but that is normal with streaming. What the viewer sees will never be exactly what you see on your monitor. If you're only streaming to YouTube, and you have sufficient upload bandwidth, I'd increase your bitrate ( Settings > Output ).

Try messing with your bitrate, default is set to 2500 I believe, depending on your resolution and quality you are going to want to increase that, be mindful that it does increase proportionally to the quality of the recording you want. Also it depends on the frame rate you want to use. Try changing it to a range of 4500-6000 and seeing if there is an improvement. If that does not improve the quality try a range of 6000-10000.

As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead
- Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
- Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode

- Select your game from the window list
- Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"
It is absolutely not possible for me to log in to the game while the application is open, but I can log in to the game when I close the application.

Valorant uses a kernel level anti cheat program, have you tried switching the capture mode from game to display/screen and then starting Valorant?

Twitch Chat is always live. How do you know it is not connecting? If you're not live, you can just have Streamlabs Desktop open in the scene with the Chatbox Widget and type in your Twitch Chat and it should appear in the preview window in Streamlabs Desktop. If you can't see it, make sure the Chatbox Widget is higher in the source list than any capture source, otherwise it will be hidden underneath.
I haven't tried it yet, I will try it soon.

Kernel level anti cheats like Vanguard for Valorant are required for the game to run. There is not a way of removing them.

@frosty pasture -> settings -> get support -> delete cache. It happens to me sometimes that I cannot log out. Keep in mind that this will default some of your settings, your editor will stay the same tho, only resolution will change back to the default.
i was about to do a test live stream to make sure everything is running smoothly and it mentioned that youtube wasnt correctly linked and advised me to log out and then log back in again. i did this and its removed yet again Stream labs ULTRA from ever existing on my account. ive paid for it twice in the last 3 days and i have no ultra, is anyone able to help or explain ?

i logged out when i had Ultra, then logged in again through the only way on my desktop which was to click log in choose the account and my youtube account and accept and it logs me in but without Ultra and i have email confirmation of it and i used it setting the stream up with overlays and it was working until i logged out as it suggest for refreshing the youtube account

Thank you! I see a few things that you can do to hopefully improve your recording quality:
- Run Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. To do this, right-click Streamlabs Desktop > run as administrator.
- In your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Output > Recording, raise your bitrate to 30,000
- In your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Output > Recording, change your recording encoder from "use stream encoder" to "Software x264"

I don't see anything else that stands out in your diagnostic report that would be causing poor performance. I would recommend testing in another streaming service (OBS Studio, for example) to see if the same issue persists there with your recordings. Then likely either your Base Resolution or Output Resolution are incorrect. The Base Resolution should be set to the resolution of your monitor and the Output Resolution should be set to the resolution you want the stream to be at.

Anyone know why cant i import my overlays its stuck on 0% like in the screenshot and if i choose to import only alertbox from streamlabs it shows failed to import alertbox? Any help? Streamelements support said to check for default files from Streamlabs or copyright media, also, complex custom coding with advanced settings or scripts may cause import issues. Due to compatibility issues with certain anti-cheat systems, Game Capture source may not work with some games, including Valorant.
As a workaround, please use Window Capture instead
- Remove all Game Capture sources related to the game you're trying to capture
- Set the game to either windowed mode or borderless windowed mode
- Add a new Window Capture source
- Select your game from the window list
- Change the Capture Method to "Windows 10"

Nope, that pixelation is normal. The stream will never look like what you see on the monitor. I'd say you've got it tweaked quite well. Go with it!

Get 'DaVinci Resolve', the free version.
I use it weekly to remove a background for a video. Also used it to make GIFs with no background.
If you just want a Timer, Nightbot[dot]tv is way better, and actually works, lol.
But I mostly use Streamer[dot]bot for anything, really powerful bot (if you want it to be). I have 2-3 different messages I have on a rotating timer, since he can manage that, keeping them posting 15-20min apart from each other.
But Nightbot works fine with just 1 Timer-message. Or several Timers if you want and don't mind they might post at the same time occasionally.
Also didn't want to post links, so the '[dot]' is an actual '.' when/if searching on it 🙂
I know I had problems with audio when 2 monitors. Sometimes that messed up where the sound was sent.
Unplugging the 2nd monitor, and restart computer worked for me. And I still do, as a routine before starting to stream, to make sure the audio is sent "to the right place", lol.

I'm still having an issue with my Streamlabs OBS. the mixer is picking up sound, but not in the channel that it should be (stream mix). It was working fine on Thursday, but then there was a Windows 11 update and that seemed to have messed things up. I don't think that changing my camera settings from 720p 30 to 1080p 60 should mess with the mixer settings at all.

Log out of everythning Streamlabs:
- Log out, on every device you access it, the Streamlabs web site by clicking your Profile Picture and choose Log out.
- If you use Streamlabs Console, do the same on that web site.
- If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out there.
- In Streamlabs Desktop, log out.
- Wait a few minutes.
- On the Streamlabs web site, log in using your new Twitch name.
- Log in in Streamlabs Desktop.

hey, i have an issue, so when i open stremlabs obs, and im not even live, i just have it open, then i try to stream my gameplay to discord (i play on ps5 and use el gato 4kX), it won't let me stream it on discord because streamlabs is open, the only was i can get it to play on discord is if i close streamlabs, but then i have no audio

When I went to start streamlabs today it had for some reason completely forgotten who I was and I had to log in, and then i had to go get my scenes back. .. ad now, it's trying to stream me in mobile screen mode instead of my normal monitor size, and for the life of me i can't figure out how to get it out of mobile mode.

Hey so after install the streamlabs plug in and joining streamlabs ultra i haven't been able to stream on any platform. i get one error that says no config url available for the current serice. the other error message is starting the output failed. please check the log for details. note : if you are using the nvenc or amd encoders make sure your video drivers are up to date . my drivers are up to date and i had no issues prior to downloading the plugin or using ultra

Hi folks, I am starting to use Streamelements to multistream on OBS, does anyone know if TikTok integration is moving forwards? Not being able to manage alerts like sounds of follows and gifts/subs is a downer and makes it less likely I will use OBS to stream to TikTok

I also have ultra but don’t have the badge in this discord since I just joined this server and started streaming. How do I get the ultra badge in this server? Hi i have many ´questions to the multistream and dual output streaming with streamlabs
I’ve been using the Streamlabs Desktop app for streaming on Twitch for ages. Now, I’m streaming simultaneously on both Twitch and TikTok, but so far only in horizontal view, which isn’t very practical for TikTok. I recently discovered the Dual Output feature, which allows me to stream in both horizontal and vertical formats. However, I haven’t figured out how to set it up so that when someone joins my TikTok live, they see the vertical view, and when they rotate their screen, Streamlabs also switches to the horizontal view. How can I set this up?

You can setup Dual Output here: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-set-up-dual-output-streamlabs-tiktok-streams. There's no capability that I'm aware of for the automatic switching of the output being viewed on TikTok just because someone rotates their screen.

No, sorry. You can choose one or the other but not both.

Make sure you specifically choose the exact device for Desktop Audio. Sometimes the Default option doesn't work.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
- Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
- Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
- Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

You want to go live at a scheduled time and date in the future but with a pre-recorded video? You could just add the pre-recorded video as a Media Source and then schedule the stream like you usually would.

Only TikTok approves or revokes access. Streamlabs has no say in their decision and cannot see why a decision was made. You'll need to reach out to TikTok.
