can you not multi stream without paying? trying to connect to twitch and kick and it wont even let me connect to kick even though i did everything right (all i should need to do is link my url and stream key which i did). so than i was like well lets make sure we can multi stream to begin with and i cant even connect youtube and twitch at the same time. Two Platforms no Tiktok: Must use Dual Output
Two Platforms, one of them TIktok: Can do Dual output or free * multistream
Three or more regardless of platforms: Must have Ultra for multistreaming

For Kick to successfully connect and go live:

1. Your bitrate should be 3500 or less. Yes, that's a terrible limit. Kick still is essentially in alpha.
2. Your output resolution should be 1280x720. Kick limits you to this if your last stream had 3 or less viewers.
3. Go to your Kick Dashboard before going live and set your stream title and category.

If you want to only stream on Kick, go to Settings > Stream > scroll all the way down > Stream to custom ingest.

In your case though, since you're not using TikTok, you'd need a Ultra subscription: In order to stream to both Twitch and Kick (edit to add that for better clarity)

Windows. Streamlabs just droppedn an update and it's opening as if I'm using it for the first time. Plus all of my scenes that I've been using are gone. Some of my audio settings and my Ultra are still intact, but my visual settings have been borked.

Hi there, has anyone had issues when using the Application Audio Capture not picking up cutscene dialogue in games? I've now had it happen in 2 separate games, Once Human & Red Dead 1 (the new PC port). All other game audio goes through fine, even dialogue outside of cutscenes. Hello. I am trying to stream to TikTok via Streamlabs. I was approved earlier this month and did four Lives without issue. Then last week, I had a weird 7 day restriction. I would try to select TikTok as an output destination, but it would make me check my status, and upon doing so, I saw the message present in the third image.

Today, the 7 day restriction expired, but I go through the same process only to see the 4th image. I did apply again, though I don't know why I'd have to. As you can see in the 5th image, I have NO active restrictions on the TikTok Live Center.

ALL THIS TO ASK- is this a streamlabs problem? Is streamlabs blocking me for some reason? Has anyone encountered this error? I REALLY need this fixed asap because I have a banger live planned for tomorrow night

That access is only for TikTok to approve, suspend, or revoke. Streamlabs has no say in that at all. You'd need to reach out to TikTok for more information. And yes, I know that's whole exercise in futility.

You have TikTok toggled off and Restream toggled on. I'd click on the gear icon on one of the relay web connections and see what it says. If there's no private user information like a username or toke, screen shot what you see.

Dropped Frames indicate a network issue between your cable modem and the ingest. What platform are you streaming with?

Please run the Twitch Test from the tagged post below.

Selcect Medium or Long Duration and select all the ingests in your region. Don't only select the one closest to you. Short Duration sounds nice but will give inconsistent or bad results. Once the test is complete, screen shot the results here.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

During in of my streams my gameplay became incredibly blurry.
I've already played around with the bitrate, called my ISP, swapped cables for my capcard, updated my OS to Sequoia 15.1. Not sure what else to try.
Problem started 6* days ago in the middle of a stream and I haven't been able to get the blurred screen to go away since then.

Only thing you can try is this:

Find a time when no one is using the Internet (hard to do with a family, I get that).
Shutdown your computer.
Pull the power cord from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and let the cable modem come fully back up.
Boot you PC and once it is fully back up, run the Twitch Test,
If your Quality scores are still what they were from today, you'll need to reach back out to your ISP.

Tell them you're trying to live stream to Twitch and that packets are being dropped once they leave your modem. Sometimes they hear the word 'streaming' and think you're trying to watch Netflix which uses your download. Live streaming uses your upload bandwidth and that path is bad. Share the Twitch Test screen shot with them. I had a similar issue long ago and Spectrum finally found a bad connector on the side of my apartment building. This issue is one of the worst to find and resolve since it is all out of your control. And ISP's are for some reason reluctant to take the time to deeply investigate.

Definitely not a settings issue on your PC. The Twitch test sends packets and records how many actually reach their destination.

If you have a spare Ethernet cable, swap it out and see if how it goes.

Only other thing to check is to make sure that your PC ethernet adapter is connected at the correct speed. Hang on whilst I copy and paste some pictures showing how to do this.

First right click here and choose Open Network and Internet settings.

Then from there, click here.

Then in the next window, find your Ethernet adapter, right click on it and choose Status.

Make sure the connected speed matches that of your internal network. If it is way slower, then the issue could be either your ethernet adapator or your ethernet cable.

When I stream with my Bitrate in 10k the stream is all black, when I switch back to 6k is all normal in all plataforms with good quality but in Youtube it sucks ass(I'm streaming 1080p 60fps)

Yes, that happens as the maximum bitrate for Twitch is 6000.

My suggestion would be reduce your Output Resolution to 1270x720.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch will resolve this.

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.
2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site as well using the same method.
3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.
4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).
5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.
6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. You can verify this by going back to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scrolling down to Other Connections and examine the Streamlabs connection. It should say "Connected a few minutes ago" other short period of time.

Select Medium or Long Duration and select all the ingests in your region. Don't only select the one closest to you. Short Duration sounds nice but will give inconsistent or bad results. Once the test is complete, screen shot the results here.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Some good Quality number there, some bad Quality numbers. I would choose an ingest with a Quality score of 90 or more and test with that: Settings > Stream > scroll all the way down > Stream to custom ingest and the pick the desired ingest from the list and see how your next stream goes.

good evening, all. without changing any settings and after several years of use, i found clicking on the drop-down menus makes them appear open but "hidden" as only a tiny sliver - i'll include a screenshot. in this pic, i clicked on the drop-down menu, but the menu shows barely a few pixels. how can i get it to show all available options in the menu again?
maximizing the window didn't help, as it's vertical and not horizontal space it seems to need. i also tried restarting, resizing, hooking up a larger monitor, etc.

Streamlabs Console does not have multi stream capability.

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The subscriber would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

I’m having trouble with my triple-screen setup in Streamlabs. Currently, it only lets me stream from the left monitor, but I need to stream from the center one. All three monitors are detected, but I can’t set the center monitor as the streaming source.

Just to add some details: I’m not using NVIDIA Surround, and I’m using the "Display Capture" source in Streamlabs. This setup is for a racing simulator that stretches the game window across all three monitors, so I really need just the center monitor for streaming.

Has anyone else run into this issue, or does anyone have advice on how to set up Streamlabs to capture only the center screen in this scenario?

When using stream labs to stream to Facebook I'm not getting credit towards my LevelUp requirements on facebook because when I setup the stream in Streamlabs to go live there is nowhere to tag a game. Without tagging a valid game facebook does not count this towards my required streaming for LevelUp status. Is there someway to do this or connect manually with a stream key without signing up for Ultra??? Facebook recently changed their API and took away the ability to tag the game. Yeah, bizarre decision. Nothing we can do about that, its not broke, Facebook took it away.

I had been able to stream to Facebook but my page now doesn't have the required at least 100 followers, so now no Facebook streaming for me.

If you're streaming or recording, anything FPS setting over 60 or 120 is meaningless.

And for recording, make sure that your monitor refresh rate, Streamlabs FPS and game FPS are all set to either 60 or 120. Anything more is just overworking your system.

135 does not divide by 60 evenly. 60 and 120 do.

#technical-support I am experiencing an issue when attempting to start a live stream on TikTok via Streamlabs on my Macbook. My account setup appears to be correct:

•    I have TikTok Live Studio installed, which indicates that my account is eligible for streaming from a computer.
•    All necessary authorizations and verifications on my TikTok account are in place, with checkmarks confirming each requirement.

However, when I initiate the TikTok stream through Streamlabs, it fails to start, and I receive a message stating that the stream could not be launched.

1. streaming over wifi isn't great. you should be hard wired whenever you can be (ethernet)
2. 300mbps upload? or download? download doesn't really matter with streaming so you want to check upload

Does anyone know why Nvidia Broadcast does not work as a source in OBS or Streamlabs anymore? I've spent the better part of the last 3 days going through FAQs, reddit, stackOverflow, and any and everything else. Nothing seems to work. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers, changes USB ports of literally everything on my computer, contacted Nvidia support (to no avail). Checked my drivers, my Nvidia graphics settings, permissions, firewalls, power settings, and anything vaguely related. It would be where you have the image stored on your PC. There isn't a default or correct or recommended location. For example I store all my streaming assets in a folder called Streaming on my desktop and in there is a sub-folder for each game and a lot of the times in those are even more sub-folders.

For recordings, yes. Mike is asking where his image file was stored on his PC. He doesn't remember the file name so he can't search for it. For image and media sources, there isn't a default folder that it looks in.

I am using the latest streamlabs on my Iphone with ios 17.6.1 with rtmp live stream on my antmedia server. Everything started out great but now there is a problem where the screen when live cannot play the whole screen but only 2/3 of the screen.

You'd have to remove it from within Streamlabs Mobile. Streamlabs Mobile and Streamlabs Desktop don't share data. Clearing the cache in Streamlabs Desktop will have no effect on Streamlabs Mobile.

Hello everyone, I streamed on Twitch using Talk Studio with recording enabled. The stream lasted 5 hours and 32 minutes, but when I download it, I only get the first 4 hours. Are your media sources huge? It may be trying to render them. Disable them and see if it helps, then re-enable one at a time to see what happens.

Nothing major. And never an issue a year or so ago. Seems the hidden/unhidden issue appears to be with some of thre vertical output.
It's not respected the horizontal settings of hidden or unhide, everything pretty much is unhidden. so manually having to go through and hide stuff to match the horizontal. What a over sight that is... at least creating an option widnow to say match or reset when selecting dual

bit rate is irrelevant. You can set it to 4k and run it at 2mbs be rubbish but would technically run at 4k.
Make sure your output and resized output is what you want.

Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

• You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

Hey, i am a rust streamer. In rust you have to hide your map while streaming otherwise people can find your server and stream snipe you. I have a push to show hotkey for my map blocking picture but the rust map lingers for about a third of a second after you let go of the key, Basically rendering the hotkey useless. Is there anyway that i can set a delay on the hotkey/picture so that it lingers a little after i let go of the button?

Correct. One of the stream deck buttons would be your new hotkey. You can adjust a lot of settings with the button press to meet your needs. Unsure about the midi conteoller, you will have to play with the software to see what it can do.

Do you have a Stream Deck? If so, please remove your Streamlabs account from the Stream Deck application, quit and launch the Stream Deck app (just click the X to close it won't work - right click on its icon in the System Tray and choose Exit). Then add your Streamlabs account back.

If you don't have Stream Deck, please give us more information. Like a screen shot if you have it, as long as there is no confidential information on it.

Follow what I posted anyway. It might be because your Stream Deck isn't plugged in. If you're not using it, I'd use the Startup tab in Task Manager and disable it from starting up when Windows loads.

I would enable it in Task Manager, add your Streamlabs account back, quit the Stream Deck software, and reboot your PC.

If you're truly not using your Stream Deck, then once your PC is back up, then I would uninstall the Stream Deck app, make sure the Stream Deck itself doesn't appear in your Device Manager (might be shown as a USB device), if so, right click on it and choose Remove or Uninstall). And then reboot your PC again.

There's probably a linger registry entry causing this.

It is a Stream Deck issue. I understand you've removed your account in the Stream Deck application. But the fact that its still trying authenticate means there's pices of the Stream Deck application still active.

Not completely, mainly due to the maximum bitrate that Twitch allows. I'd suggest setting your Output Resolution to 1280x720 and make sure that, if you're upload bandwidth allow, set your bitrate to 6000. That would give the system enough room in the data stream to effectively work.

Go to the Sound Control Panel (via the Sounds Settings), and on the Advanced Level tab, make sure these two options are unchecked (I know mine are checked but this is my work laptop and I don't stream from it; just using it to get you a screen shot).

A common reason this could occur is a browser source caching issue. Can you try doing a manual clear of it?

1. Close OBS Studio
2. Hit the Windows key + R
3. Paste the following and hit enter: %appdata%/obs-studio/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the Cache folder, then re-open the software (and only the cache folder, not the other two with cache in it)
5. type in your chat to see if it appears

The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

You can import your Scene Collections from OBS Studio by clicking the down arrow next to the Scene Collection name in the Scene Selector Panel and choose Manage Scene Collections. Streamlabs Desktop doesn't have separate Profiles like OBS Studio does so you won't be able to import those.

Hi there! Hope you're having a good day so far. If you're looking to go live to TikTok by itself in Streamlabs Desktop, you will just want to go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Video and adjust your output to 1080x1920 like you mentioned! Then when going live, just select 'TikTok' from your "Go Live" window, and that should work for you.

You can always use the Dual Output feature to go live to TikTok + one additional platform if you're looking to multi-stream without an Ultra subscription, as well.

Thanks! I have Ultra but just using for TikTok because it can't do all the streaming I need so using OBS for the rest still. I've already streamed horiz to TikTok and it works fine, but TikTok community prefers to see 40% less of the game, so I'll crop to vertical for them 😂

It still blows my mind how there are sooooo many people streaming and most want to stream to multiple platforms, vertical and horizontal, but it's still sooooo difficult. Someone should design some software that makes it all easy 🥸

My desktop audio is not being recorded unless i turn up obs64 in my volume mixer. But that causes me to hear my own stream, setting the audio settings to monitor off doesnt help. I couldnt find anything on this issue, and ive tried everything to get the desktop audio to work properly. This issue happened overnight, so maybe im missing something obvious.

What does the Twitch pop-up look like on your end? If it's happening for more than just Streamlabs, it sounds like something very strange is happening with the Stream Deck itself.

and like I said I've uninstalled and disabled my Stream Deck entirely yesterday because someone told me that was the issue but it's still happening

This has happened multiple times over the last two years and it's about every 2/3 months this occurs

If this is happening for more authorizations than just Streamlabs, I would recommend reaching out to Elgato support to see if they can assist in clearing something within the hardware itself. This definitely doesn't sound like intended behavior, and I've never personally seen a user report this exact issue. But it seems like there is something being miscommunicated between your StreamDeck and your web browser, and I couldn't say for certain what is causing that. I believe Elgato support would be able to provide a lot more insight here since now you're having pop-ups for more than just Streamlabs.

I would tell them that it's happening for Twitch, as well, which wouldn't indicate an error on Streamlabs' end. I see a very old post that reports this could be due to outdated firmware on your Stream Deck. That is something else I would check out as a potential solution.

I would log out of the Streamlabs web site. Then when you go to log in again, click the Forgot password link under the Streamlabs ID section. Get your Streamlabs ID password reset and then go through the Ultra purchase again and now you know your Streamlabs ID password. If you still have issues, you'll need to put in a ticket https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new as only the staff can assist with account issues, like password or 2FA resets. Us Volunteers don't have any access since we're not employees of Streamlabs.

hello I have a question. A friend of mine has set up a sub alert and a gifted alert. When a viewer gifts subs it plays the gifted alert. But when he gifts himself it plays the sub alert as many times as the amount of subs he gifted + the gifted alert (so with 10 gifted it plays 11 alerts). Is there a way to fix this?

Well as you can imagine our amazing team is just human, but they are blazing fast doing their work, also please take in consideration the time zone. That said if you dont get an answer within 48h ( the normal SLA for any customer service ), come here and ask us to have a look into your ticket as it may have been lost in the way there 🙂
