Hi! I'm a relatively new streamer, but I'm pretty well situated with my setup. My only problem that I have is my audio. When my game or music audio is set to "Monitor and Output", I get an echoing on the viewer's side that I can't get rid of without changing the monitoring settings. My music and game audio have to be set to "Monitor Off" in order to prevent any echoing. It sucks because that means I won't be able to hear any audio, but at least the audience doesn't have to suffer. For reference, I just have a Razer Kraken headset as an audio monitoring device and an external capture card for Nintendo Switch. I've been trying to find a solution online, but I've yet to find something or someone that can help me. Any advice??

compared to regular obs, which is surprising to most people. with sl my streams are smooth. but with obs i get a 20-50 frame drop.

Make sure that the ethernet card is connecting at the correct speed. For example, one time I had a similar issue and found that my ethernet card was connecting at a much slower speed than the 1Gb that the switch was capable of.

Hi folks, sorry for bothering but I have a few queries which I'm hoping someone with more tech knowledge than I have will be able to help with

  1. I'm looking to set up a death counter, and I have a variable set up for this and displaying. Is there a way for the same command such as !death to only increment the death counter for the game being played currently? I do multiple types of games so was wondering if I need to create one for each game like !darksoulsdeath, !eldenringdeath, etc for an example

  2. Is there a way to be able to have a list of missions, or bosses in a file; and have the death saved per mission/boss? I'd like to eventually get something where it can have a list like "Mission 1: 1 death; Mission 2: 3 deaths" and so on but I don't know how to do an array like this in Cloudbot if it is even possible

So it may be that it is connecting to the old channel name which doesn't exist to it; so it would be trying to pull from a chat that is different from where your Streamlabs is connecting

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

@keen rain if you have stable upload speed of ((51 + 6 + 6) / 0.8) Mbps or more, it may be better to multistream by yourself rather than through streamlabs' service, as then you'll deliver the best possible video quality to each platform, streamlabs only forwards the same video feed as-is

so I set up my steamlabs to record 3 monitors and changes the base canvas to match. I got 3 files recorded correctly trying it out but the video quality was bad. I was still playing with the GAME settings when steamlabs stopped recoding video and now windows media player says the .mp4 codec is unknown?

Stripe is what streamlabs uses for their tip page. If you want to use it for CCs, then you’re going to have to wait to be verified (aka…keep streaming). If you want to take CCs, then you’re going to need to go the PayPal business account route.

Connected and verified are not the same. It’s an automatic process I don’t have insight into what triggers it. You can submit a ticket to streamlabs to find out the actual requirements it’s looking for.

Good morning, I tried streaming last night after the update on my Mac and the stream was fine for about 30 minutes and then started lagging saying I had dropped frames. CPU usage was about 27-30%. My Internet download speed is about 800 MBPS and my upload speed is about 23 MBPS.

I noticed when streaming that the bet rate would jump from 6000 to about 9000-11000 and then drop back down which twitch only allows 6000 so I’m wondering if they’re throttling me or making my frames drop because the bitrate is too high?

My question is, how do I fix this? I have a big stream coming up and I wanna make sure that it runs smoothly.

Hello, I am having some weird issues I can not find the resolve for. I have over the last couple week been streaming my Xbox gameplay to twitch and tiktok live through streamlabs OBS with dual output enabled. First weird problem is that I have to often times go live multiple times just for both my twitch and tiktok live to go up. The tiktok output always goes live but my twitch will not, then I will end stream and do it all over again and bam it works. It is really quite frustrating to delay going live for sometimes 5-10 minutes while I continue this process until I am live. Second I have tried resolving this by going live to twitch through SLOBS and then live separately through TikTok Live Studio desktop. This works okkk but adds additional stress to my setup and another stream output chewing up bandwidth rather than just from one location. This also creates one heck of a headache getting all the tiktok audio to comply with my SLOBS setup. I did some research and I saw that people used Virtual camera through OBS to basically take their vertical setup in OBS then just add that as it's own scene in TikTok live studio, that to me seemed like the easiest solution BUT when I do that in SLOBS it only send over my horizontal setup to TikTok and not my vertical output. It seems like in OBS there is an options to choose which output goes to the Virtual Camera. If anyone can please help me or guide me on the best practice here to make going live to twitch and tiktok smoother that would be great. I've noticed that when I do finally get the streams up on both twitch and TT through SLOBS dual output my TT streams are less effective, I have less control of that stream and often less viewers or interaction, I get way more promotion if I go live through both SLOBS and LIVE studio seperately. hey i have an issue with streamlabs and Discord overlay, Steam's overlay, and pretty much anything, like windows notification banners bottom right, nvidia banners that appear top middle right, etc
game capture still seems to pick up -- it's NOT supposed to do that

it used to never to this, but now it does after some update i did on streamlabs or something, and couldnt find ANY setting to disable this
the only workaround is to disable discord overlay and i would prefer not doing that, because it used to not capture the overlay to begin with

Hi, I am trying to use sttreamlabs charity and I want to be able to get donation events (user, amount, message) via python script to flash lights and play sounds during our live stream when people donate, as well as print out their message on a receipt printer. I don't see streamlabs charity donations showing up under the donations api. And when I try to use the sockets api via python I get a 502 bad gateway error. I can't find any charity specific apis.... Can anyone here help?

You bitrate is too high. Twitch has a bitrate limit of 6000. If you're a Twitch Partner, you can go up to 8000. Reduce your bitrate too 6000 and try again.

Okay. Quit Streamlabs Desktop, go to the Streamlabs web site, and download a fresh installer. Once the installe ris fully downloaded, right click on it a choose Run as administrator. Let the installer install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather just quit the installer, reboot your PC, and then once your PC is fully back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop and thn let me know hwo it goes.

Here's the recommend fix:

BUT FIRST, please go through each tab in the Settings ⚙️ and make screen shots of all of them. The below process will reset those settings.

  1. Copy: "%appdata% "
  2. Then Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then Press Enter
  3. This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see " slobs-client ". Rename it to " _slobs-client "
  4. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as Administrator. Let me know what happens.

**This is going to act like a brand new install of Streamlabs Desktop. Your stuff will be saved in terms of overlays and such. It's just that your output settings will now be reset back to default, and we'll need to readjust them again **

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The subscriber would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

Hi! For some reason, when anyone uses their loyalty points to redeem a gif & sound, the sound may or may not play & the gifs don't play. They show up on the loyalty page & in my dashboard, but not on stream or in OBS. This wasn't a problem last week, & it started out just one or two messing up, so I turned those off, but now it is almost all of them! Been beating my head against the wall for hours trying to figure this out, but no luck as of yet. Can't get any help via a support ticket through the site so figured I would try here.

i have a question on Multistreaming settings YT,Twitch, etc. Base canvas is 2560X1440. right now its set to be same in Output. with 24K. youtube is crisp and nice. Twitch only comes around with 720p output. anyone ideas what need to be in settings to get Twitch to 1080p at least ?

Hey everyone!
I've recently just copied over all my OBS scenes and my camlink 4k is just black screening, regardless of soft/hard resets and checking its not open somewhere else! If I create a brand new scene collection like I was starting fresh, I can add the cam link 4k no problem, its only on the imported scene collection it doesnt work. Any advice? I do not want to start again, but I need the cam link to work!

Quick question, not so quick answer I'm guessing. I had merged my tiktok account with streamlabs awhile ago and just last week it was working but has since stopped working. So one of the items suggested was umerging them merging it back again. However, there in lies my issue, when I go to merge again I get this lovely URl which shows user cancel authorization. Am I missing something or do I need to wait a certain time period before attempting it again?

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

  1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
  2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
  4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
  5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

I have been receiving copywrite notification for music played on YouTube livestreams, through the music app in SLOBS. I thought this music was cleared and available for use on the streams, without the risk of the videos being de-monitized. Am I wrong about this?

@violet raven most directshow devices can only feed one recipient at a time, but obs-studio has no checks for that and lets you add multiple video capture device sources, since some of them can do that; usually every source beyond the first will not work, sometimes none will, you have to remove all such sources and add one

And everytime i close streamlabsobs i have to log in again and everything is reset. Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

I'm still checking into this - there's a chance that I will need to test this out on my own with an Aitum trial, but I may not be able to test this out at the moment as I'm the only mod online. There is a chance that Aitum will block both chats from showing up in our chatbox widget due to using a different ingest than the normal "go live" method.

I have some troubleshooting steps below for you to try:

  1. Re-install Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. To do this, go to Streamlabs.com and begin the download of Streamlabs Desktop. (No need to uninstall beforehand) Once the installer is ready, right-click the installer > select "show in folder". From the folder, right-click the installer and select "run as administrator".
  2. Be sure Streamlabs Desktop is allowed through your Firewall: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-open-your-windows-firewall
  3. Re-install/repair these files: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/microsoft-visual-c-redistributables-2022-needed-for-streamlabs-desktop
  4. Perform a clean installation of your GPU drivers: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/clean-install-of-graphics-driver-tutorial
  5. Restart your PC
  6. Run Streamlabs Desktop as administrator (right-click Streamlabs Desktop > select "run administrator")

This is in the event someone has run across this issue and went through a similar setup with their Windows install.

Issue Description:
Multistreaming with Twitch and Tiktok. Twitch will stream as expected and is viewable when going to website to monitor stream however TikTok is not. When initiating the stream (multistream) there are a flood of errors every few seconds:
"Stream has disconnected, attempting to reconnect."
If I do a single stream with just Twitch, I do not get any of the above errors but if I stream to just tiktok, I do get those errors which means the TikTok portion of the stream is what is causing the issue. As a test I did try streaming to TikTok using their Live streaming software and do not get the errors. I have also done a speedtest, viewed the tiktok streamlabs live access(which shows it's approved), pinged and tracert'd the streamlab servers. I have 3 diagnostic reports that have been submitted for 3 items, multistreamed with both, stream individually for Twitch and for TikTok.

Resolution Description:
As a partial back story, when I installed Windows, I needed to do it offline as the network drivers were not included with Windows 11. So I went through the typical local account creation and install then connected to my microsoft account from this local account.
After a lot of log viewing and windows events viewing I was able to isolate the issue with a DCOM EventID 10016 error. It kept trying to do something with the local account ever time I went to start a stream with TikTok. I went through all the other basic troubleshooting, checking the ethernet cable to ensure it wasn’t going bad, bound the IP in StreamLabs to the local IP, Speedtests, pinging and doing a tracert to the multistreaming servers and double checking any odd settings I may have tried. In this instance, I ruled out that the root cause with with StreamLabs and instead with Windows 11.

From the above information discovered in the Event Viewer I was able to search the interwebs and found that this issue can show up. What fixed the errors in Windows, which prevented a stream to TikTok, was to create another account that was not local. Sign into my Microsoft account with the correct credentials and moved any downloaded items I had over. The seperated my local and microsoft accounts. Upon the initial login to the new, non-local account and setting up a basic scene. I launched a stream to tiktok and presto, the stream connected and was viewable from a monitor account.

I appreciate your patience! If you've already gone through the steps provided, can you try going into your Layout Editor > replace your "Editor Display" component with "Stream Preview", then save your changes?

Once you've done that, please restart the program > go back to the Layout Editor and add the "Editor Display" back again. This might "refresh" this component and allow it to start working again.

I think one of the last troubleshooting steps that I can think of would be to clear your Streamlabs Desktop cache. This will require you to re-set up your Streamlabs Desktop Settings (Video, Output, etc.) but it may be necessary to resolve this issue. To do this, you can go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Get Support > "Delete Cache and Restart".

Hi! New to streamlabs. I wanted to ask if kick's chat integration was supposed to be automatically included? I set up my multistream using a downloaded template, and I saw twitch's chat come through on a quick test. Kick's test message did not, but the stream worked great. I haven't tested tiktok's yet, but the integration is done elsewise.

Hi there, I can't find resolution to this anywhere.....my Alerts work just fine when I TEST them, but when someone follows/subs/etc...it pops up the standard alert and not my custom one I make (GIF & Sound) Same with ExtraLife donations, that one just doesn't pop up at all. But I just recorded a video through streamlabs, but now that I’m watching the video back…my game audio is a bit too loud and it’s overpowering my microphone audio. I know I should’ve done a test. Is there any way I can separate the audios after the fact?

"The Jar" widget on Streamlabs has native support for several sites but does NOT have support for TikTok, Kick, and funnily enough: Streamlabs donations. I know you can add custom CSS inside of the source but is it possible to show a combined total for all: TikTok gifts, Twitch Bits, Kick Subs, TikTok Subs, Streamlabs Donations, and Twitch Subs? (Regardless if it's using 'The Jar' or not)

Through the Streamlabs website, I set up a Follower Goal (configured platform is set to Twitch).
Twitch, itself, says I have 41 followers (up by four since I last did anything with my Follower Goal widget).
But after streaming earlier Sunday and opening up my account on the website, it still says I only have 37 followers via the widget.
Am I missing something or is there possibly something wrong with the widget?

Let's try clearing your client folder, so it only grabs new data.

  1. Reboot your computer. When it comes back up, don't try and launch Streamlabs Desktop.
  2. Copy: %appdata% then press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then press Enter.
  3. This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see slobs-client
  4. Rename it to _slobs-client to have a backup.
  5. This will act as if you deleted your local Streamlabs data
  6. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as Administrator when launching.

This will act as if this is a brand-new install of Streamlabs Desktop. All of your settings will still be in the _slobs-client folder, so we can always go back to access it, but this is to try to see if the same thing happens when it is fresh.

There's no hidden settings. I'd just make sure that the default commands https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/commands/default and the custom commands https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/commands/custom are not set to Streamer only.

Reset Cloudbot on your channel and see if that helps.

👉 IMPORTANT: Do not skip or shorten the waits.

  1. Unmod streamlabs
  2. Toggle Cloudbot off
  3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
  4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
  5. Mod streamlabs
  6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

Also make sure Streamlabs isn’t banned on your channel.

No, I understand that when you add a video capture source, it causes Streamlabs Desktop to crash.

Please to the rename slob-client process one more time and also do the following:

Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

Okay, some of your settings are not optimal.

At Settings > Output > Stream:

Change your encoder to Nvidia NVENC (don't choose the one with (new) in its name).
Change your Video Bitrate to 6000.

At Settings > Output > Recording:

Change the encoder to Same as streaming encoder.

Change the Downscale Filter to Lanzcos.

This was an issue way back. Make sure you have the latest version of Streamlabs Mobile. Are you using the camera or trying to screen record? Make sure Streamlabs Mobile has permissions for both the camera and microphone.

If you're on iOS 18, go to Settings > Apps > Streamlabs and toggle on Microphone and Camera. That method for iOS 17 is slightly different but fairly similar.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch will resolve this.

  1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it: Click your PFP and choose Log out.
  2. If you use Streamlabs Console, log out of the Streamlabs Console web site as well using the same method.
  3. If you use the standalone Streamlabels application, log out of that.
  4. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post on how to do that).
  5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.
  6. Navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection. You can verify this by going back to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scrolling down to Other Connections and examine the Streamlabs connection. It should say "Connected a few minutes ago" other short period of time.
  7. 👉 IMPORTANT: Once you have completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button.
  8. Log back in to all the other Streamlabs products you use.

NOTE!!! This will not go back in time and recover the events that were missed. Events are sent over the API once and never again. So don't expect this to recover those events. Going forward, all events should be captured. *

Okay I just signed out of my LEGO content account and into my ZeroBuild account... now THAT account is new and only has a few followers, but I have 1500+ on my other TikTok and over 2000 on YT. Do I need to apply for streaming on this new account? It's connected but I'm not sure if it would let me stream to it right now... NM I just noticed it required me to hit the Apply button so I hit that and need to wait for TikTok to answer. I've heard as long as I have the followers on other accounts I should get approved to stream live without 1000 on this one.

Question............ I recently updated to windows 11, and am all of a sudden having an issue with my browser source audio.

Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Selcect Medium or Long Duration and select all the ingests in your region. Don't only select the one closest to you. Short Duration sounds nice but will give inconsistent or bad results. Once the test is complete, screen shot the results here.

Those are pretty good numbers actually. If you're geographically near one of those ingests with a score under 90, that indicates the path from your cable modem to that ingest is not optimal. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Stream > scroll all the way down > Stream to custom ingest and then set up one of the next closest ingests with a score of 90 or better. For example, I'm in Dallas so I'd choose the Chicago ingest. See how your next stream performs. if you still have issues with dropped frames, please reach out to your ISP.

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Then, reopen Streamlabs Desktop. This should resolve it but if it doesn't please submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and our team would be able to assist you further.

I've previously worked with another printing service and received specific dimensions for the print safe areas. I’d like to clarify: is the space beyond the dotted line just a buffer where the printer might cut, or is it the exact line where the printer will definitely cut? I noticed that the preview also displays the area behind the dotted line, and I want to ensure I leave enough space on my poster design.

Additionally, is there any chance I could receive a free test poster? It would really help me check that everything looks perfect before the final print.

When I try to assign an mp3 to Alert Box sounds, they often convert into .ogg and are marked invalid. The pop-up when I add songs says sounds have to be in this format... but doesn't list any formats. I was able to get one to play by selecting rather than dragging and dropping but others won't play that are same mp3 format. Any tips?

Let's try clearing your client folder.

  1. Reboot your computer. When it comes back up, don't try and launch Streamlabs Desktop.
  2. Copy: %appdata% then press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then press Enter.
  3. This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see slobs-client
  4. Rename it to _slobs-client to have a backup.
  5. This will act as if you deleted your local Streamlabs data
  6. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as Administrator when launching.

This will act as if this is a brand-new install of Streamlabs Desktop. All of your settings will still be in the _slobs-client folder, so we can always go back to access it, but this is to try to see if the same thing happens when it is fresh.

@spiral sluice Try the above. Remember, settings like bitrate, encoder, resolution, etc will be reset back to default so don't be surprised by that.

Okay, so after the update today I'm having a strange Audio issue. In my Mixer I can see the Audio is playing, but it's not actually going to any Audio output device so while it's playing in Streamlabs Desktop in the mixer it's not going anywhere else. My global Output is set for Voicemeter and it picks up all other sources just fine, but it's not playing a select few audio files through properly even though it is playing.

Can you try the steps below to see if they help?

First, please delete your all game capture sources and close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: unknown.png). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.

Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Hi, can someone help me? The desktop app won't let me link my platforms or the streamlabs id, it just bounces and won't let me leave that screen. I have to close the program so that it returns me to the interface, I have already tried to uninstall, cache and everything But nothing works and I would like to test the functions for certain platforms with the Desktop program But it simply does not work, on the page they are linked but not in the desktop app.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

  1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
  2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
  4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
  5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

I'm trying to add picarto as another stream destination. I can stream to it with "custom ingest server" but then every time i swap between picarto and twitch i need to RE add the link and key to streamlabs. If i try adding it as a "destination" it shows up in the go live, but i cannot select to turn on the radio button.

I opened streamlabs and for some reason all my scenes were deleted and it says "failed to load scene collection". I heard that someone can load it back on to my account from a previous cloud save. I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this. Thanks!

Still having audio issues. A few scenes have a couple files that play a sound or some music and the Mixer shows the audio is playing but it is not feeding any output. All other audio sources and sounds work perfectly as they have prior to today. I've looked around and tried changing the Monitoring from Monitor and Output to Off to Only Monitor and back again with no success. I use Voicemeter and thus far I can't see the output showing anywhere else other than in the Streamlabs Desktop Mixer area. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

I have TWO TikTok accounts, one for Fortnite BR and one for LEGO Fortnite content. I'm trying to switch between them in StreamLabs to stream on the BR one. I unlink my TikTok but when I try to Merge again it automaticallys signs into the LEGO TikTok. Any way to clear that out so I can choose which account to sign into? NM! Figured out I have to sign out of TikTok in my broswer and into other account and it's getting the Linking from that. Pain every time but at least it's working.

Facebook changed their requirements back in June. Did you meet those requirements and have been going live since?

Facebook has new criteria for going live starting today. The criteria is the following:
Your account must be at least 60 days old.
Your Page or professional profile must have at least 100 followers.
To go live from a Page, you need to have Facebook access or task access to create content.

Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Facebook.

Please log out of the Streamlabs web site (click your PFP and choose Log out), logout in Streamlabs Desktop and Streamlabels, and Streamlabs Console (click your PFP and choose Log out).

Then follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. The guide has sections for all the platforms we have integrations with. You just need to follow the section for Facebook.

Once you've completed the guide, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Facebook. This will re-establish the connection. The see how chat works on your next live stream.

Hi all! Looking for some technical guidance here. Re: custom alert sizes for bits and subscriptions.
Before a recent update, I had my alerts set up with variations:
• For bits, I used a smaller-sized alert for regular cheers and a full-screen alert for custom bits (full screen for 666, 1000, etc. bits).
• For subscriptions, I had full-screen alerts for 5, 10, or 20 gifted subs, while smaller alerts appeared for 1 or 2 gifted subs.
Since the update, all of my alerts have reverted to a smaller standard size, and I’m unable to use the custom sizes I previously had. Could you please advise if there is a way to restore these alert variations, allowing me to display both full-screen and smaller alerts based on specific cheering and gifting events?

Hey all,
I opened a ticket with streamlabs already but wanted to see if anyone else has been having the blurry screen issue on Mac over the past few days.
I've already played around with the bitrate, called my ISP, swapped cables for my capcard, updated my OS to Sequoia 15.1. Not sure what else to try.
Problem started 3 days ago in the middle of a stream and I haven't been able to get the blurred screen to go away since then.

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The subscriber would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

My goal for streaming is Horizontal to Twitch and YouTube, and Vertical to TikTok and YouTube. I see other streamers in my category doing this and I'm trying to catch up. I was hoping StreamLabs would help accomplish this, but my understanding is I can't stream to YT Vertical and Horizontal at the same time. I also play two different games to two different accounts on TT and YT and I can't add both channels at once so signing out and in back and forth two both is horrible. Anyone have tips on how to get closer to my goal? Perhaps Restream added in to handle some of the output? Perhaps using StreamLabs plug in inside OBS? I've got StreamDeck to help with some switching etc, too

I don't have an example from before, but here is how it's currently looking. It keeps pulling both the browser source for the large alert and the smaller alert at the same time. Not only that, it is also pulling in an alert that is not a variation. So for example. I have a 1000 bits custom full screen alert that has ants going over the screen, but it will pull that one full screen and the smaller blue alert cheer at the same time. It also pulls audio alert from both at the same time as well.

Hi there! isawave Two things:

  1. The Game Overlay feature should show you chats/events from both Twitch and YouTube! (It is important to note that some Youtube subscribers may have privacy settings enabled on YouTube that will prevent you from seeing their subscriber event come through)

  2. If you have a Streamlabs Ultra subscription, you can go to this page here: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/integrations and click "Link" next to "Discord" - once you've linked your roles, you should be able to access our #vip-support channel in case you need to reach support more quickly/want to reach an official Streamlabs support team member!
