Hello, I have a problem with Streamlabs. I created a variation of the 'Subscription' alert for Prime subscriptions, but when I test the variation with different images, etc., it still shows the animation for the regular 'Subscription' alert. Any idea why?

When i test with the buttom " Test variation " the alerte is good but when i use Streamlabs labels for repeat a old Prime sub is not the good alerte

you can't use "test" at the top right to test for the variation. you have to use the test button at the bottom for variations. Otherwise, if you replay a prime sub from your recent events list it should also trigger the variation

Im having thos issue using elgato. I am playing on ps5. When i unplg my charger from the controller, my audio sounds like it has a screechy underwater sound to it, when i put it on charge the sound goes away and my audio is fixed but then the audio buzzes the whole time its on charge. Any ideas?

Hello! I'm having issues with twitch not showing alerts that I have set up in Streamlabs, could anyone help? (I think this is the right channel for this kinda question)

I have "Alert Box" added as my source, (even tried the browser source with the streamlabs hidden link pasted in), and also authorized streamlabs from Twitch's Streaming Tools Tab - nothing works.

When I go to change the animated media for an alert, it brings up the pop-up window as expected but when I click to search stock files, it only brings up the included audio files. The thing is, I didn't click the audio "change media" button, but for images and videos.

I clicked on the + Alert button in the "Settings for Alert Box" window and the variation alert item showed a different animation than the default bouncy Steamlabs character. So I would think there are... Is this a bug in the software or can we not select different animations for the alerts?

Second question: Is there a reason why my laptop is always running excessively hot when I have Steamlabs open? I deleted the video capture element and nothing else is loaded other than a couple of images in the preview screen.

I stream via Xbox and have a Streamlabs subscription. so that I can use an overlay etc. The problem is that when I stream with streamlabs the stream vod stutters at 5-1 fps. Yes, OBS Studio can import your scenes and sources from Streamlabs Desktop.

You have to start your LIVE on whichever platforms you want to stream through Streamlabs at the start of the stream. You cannot add other platforms midway through streaming.

Keep in mind you will need Streamlabs Ultra for multistreaming services. A great investment in my opinion.

I usually do just chatting on Kick for 2-3 hours then play a game and I DO NOT want to be having my just chatting on Tiktok. I want to later TURN ON live on Tiktok when I’m playing for example GTA V.

what plugin? i am curious because most likely the reason why streamlabs doesn't do it is because it would use your resources instead of theirs (like the multistream for Streamlabs you stream just once to their servers, then they take on the load. while for the plugin if you're streaming to 3 different platforms, you are using your upload to stream to all 3)

it would be incredibly difficult with streamlabs and the way their multistream functions (to reduce the network load on the individual) to make that work, while the multistream plugin for obs just doesn't matter, it's basically starting a brand new stream using your upload

Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. Follow the steps below in order; don't skip steps and don't perform them out of order.

First, log out of the Streamlabs web site (on every device you've access it), Streamlabs Desktop, Streamlabels, and Streamlabs and Streamlabs Console web site (on every device you access it). To log out of the web sites: Click your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out.
Second, follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch.
Third, launch your web browser, navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log back in with your Twitch. This re-establishes the connection.

Note this will not recover events that were missed. They are only sent over the API once. It will update with the next new follower.

I just tried sending a follow over after "reloading" your widgets on my end. Hello, I have a problem with my streamlab alters. When I do the test when I'm not in stream the alert is launched but when I'm in stream and a real follow is following there is no alert. Hello, maybe someone can help me. I stream via Xbox and have a Streamlabs subscription. so that I can use an overlay etc. The problem is that when I stream with streamlabs the stream vod stutters at 5-1 fps. I tested around but nothing worked. Is there any trick ore other options than buying a computer and captuar card?

Do you have the proper sources on Streamlabs? Try the reloading widgets option as sort of a “refresh” button.

You can try adding your camera to a new scene as the only source. If it works the fix is in the setting or the source placement.

Check to make sure your privacy settings allow all apps to access the camera.

I checked the ⁠known-issues channel but didn't see anything...
When I go to change the animated media for an alert, it brings up the pop-up window as expected but when I click to search stock files, it only brings up the included audio files. The thing is, I didn't click the audio "change media" button, but for images and videos.
QUESTION: Are there no included animations with Streamlabs to choose from?
I clicked on the + Alert button in the "Settings for Alert Box" window and the variation alert item showed a different animation than the default bouncy Steamlabs character. So I would think there are... Is this a bug in the software or can we not select different animations for the alerts?

That could be a number a things.. make sure you are on a compatible operating system. Update GPU drivers, Limit FPS or use V-Sync.

Create a new Scene and then add a Text Source in the new Scene. If that doesn't work, create a new Scene Collection and try adding a new Text source. If that works, i.e., Streamlabs Desktop doesn't crash, manually rebuild your scenes and sources in the new Scene Collection - possible the exiting Scene Collection is somehow corrupted.

You can adjust the volume of the audio output to your stream without it affecting your local audio. I often turn down the game audio output to 60-70% while my voice audio remains at 100%.

When I stream on twitch and YouTube my stream labs will randomly delete messages. No clue why. I do have a word blacklist but nothing the people say is on that list. I've turned the bot down to min. Changing your output to 720p instead of 1080p. 6k bitrate is good as long as your internet is decent.

Internet high and lows could also cause crashing. You can check your task manager to make sure nothing else is hogging your pc in the background.

Hi there, i still have troubles with my Subs/Bits alert on OBS with Streamlabs. As i said before, it always works when i use the "Test" or "Test variations" , but when viewers PAY a Sub, or give Subs Gift/Bits, the sound and the alert in general BUGS/LAGS/COMPLETLY DO NOT WORKS.

Hello, I wanted to ask about a problem i am having with the multistream function. I received approval from both tiktok and streamlabs to stream since im below 1000 followers. After the 14 day phase i received a renewal for 180 from tiktok that i can still go live. When i try to go live on streamlabs now it says i need to request approval from tiktok and when i do that i get denied even though i already have approval. Any help is very much appreciated!

I'd recommend watching YouTube. Depending on what you want the answer can vary. If you are looking to have it on a second monitor you can pop it out of stream labs by clicking the gear icon in the chat section of streamlabs. You can also run a plug-in. You can also have it up on a browser or on your phone. It just depends on your setup.

I've read the documentation and it seems super easy to stream to Kick. However, when I try to log into Streamlabs on Streamlabs Desktop, it forces me to log into Twitch and won't let me just use Kick on its own. That being said, I have been able to stream to Kick... it just seems like some features won't work on Streamlabs and maybe it won't save my settings?

Sounds like you clicked the Schedule button (looks like a calendar). You need to go up your YouTube Studio and delete all the upcoming streams. Then to go live, click the Go Live button.

I can't stream to twitch, keeps on saying "Failed to connect to the streaming server. Please check your internet connection." even tho my internet is working fine. I'm suspecting that it is because I'm currently in China so I have to use a VPN but so far my VPN is working fine and I've tried streaming on my phone with the same wifi and VPN and I was able to stream on my phone from twitch fine, just for some reason I can't stream from Streamlabs on my Laptop. I've also tried many methods to fix it like switching streaming servers, bind network ip to my wifi IP, logging out and re-logging in, unistall and reinstall the app. I've even tried switching to another reliable VPN service but to no avail. Some one please help me get streaming in china to work pls.

Hi I Don't know what happeneds but somehow streamlabs (desktop) forgot who I was and sent me back to the "begginers" mode where it asks you what kind of creator you are, my settings got lost, and when I tried to open it back up all the scaling is wrong, I'm so mad what the heck happened.

Hey guys! I have an important question regarding Streamlabs OBS to stream on twitch. I have been streaming for a few months and the other day I noticed that my streams have been performing really poorly. Stream is stuttering, buffering, and the quality is piss poor at times. This is a recent event that just started less then a week and a half. I have tried changing bitrate, scaling output, and other attempts. My internet is no issue as I have a gig down, and half a gig upload speed (im wired to my tower). If someone could give me some help that would be amazing!

I just joined Streamlabs Console and have started the 7 day trial. I did the layout (project) and when I go to my xbox and select SL to start my live it will not go live to my twitch account. (They have also been linked) I also have to reset my console when I do this because I get the try again later message when trying to access live streaming after ending the streamlabs live

Make sure that the ChatBox Browser Source is higher in your Source list than any other capture (Game, Window, or Display) and that you have Custom HTML/CSS disabled in the Chatbot Widget settings.

Also, as a test, take the ChatBox Widget URL and paste it into a web browser. If it appears there, then the issue would be more specifically with OBS Studio and you inquire with them over in the OBS Studio discord.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

TikTok revoking your live streaming access through Streamlabs to their platform doesn't affect your scenes and sources. You can still use your exisitng setup to stream to Twitch. Streamlabs has no control over or input to TikTok no how they decide to grant or revoke access to their platform.

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

That's currently happening to me. Streamlabs is able to respond in chat when I open or close a queue for testing but the broadcast is not getting sent to yt or twitch. It worked for 30 min at the beginning of my stream then just started dropped frame and now isn't broadcasting at all

My internet connection is fine and chat messages are showing up on the canvas, just sending the broadcast is having issues

So, I just discovered that changing the settings of one Alert Box changes the settings of all Alert Boxes in the scene...re: Global Settings!
Initially, I took one Alert Box, copied and pasted it, opened the new Alert Box, changed its settings, and then discovered that both Alert Boxes were updated! That's when I realized it was a Global Settings deal.

Is there a way to have multiple unique Alert Boxes that act independently and only alert the specified details?

Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube . Follow the steps below in order; don't skip steps and don't perform them out of order.

First, log out of the Streamlabs web site (on every device you've access it), Streamlabs Desktop, Streamlabels, and Streamlabs and Streamlabs Console web site (on every device you access it). To log out of the web sites: Click your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out.
Second, follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for YouTube.
Third, launch your web browser, navigate back to the Streamlabs web site and log back in with your YouTube. This re-establishes the connection.
Fourth, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in there as well.

Note this will not recover events that were missed. They are only sent over the API once. It will update with the next new follower.

Some YouTube subscriptions won't show due to privacy settings on the viewer's account.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

The subscriber would need to set their subscriptions to public in YouTube's privacy settings https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

The setting on your channel (the streamer) doesn't matter.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube will fix it going forward from when you log back in. This does not go back and recover events that were missed. Events are sent over the API once. And with YouTube, if the viewer’s.subscriptions are set to private, there is no way for Streamlabs to detect their subscription or membership.

I was about to come in here and ask why my bit alerts weren't working, i looked at them, and it's because they were toggled to off 😶

So, my actual other problem that is NOT just solved by a toggle - follow alerts that don't have the proper rarity attached. My default follow alert almost never appears, and the extremely rare ones appear very frequently. What's the deal with that? Like, shouldn't the default follow be a lot more common if I have the other versions as rarely + above?

If someone sees something that I'm missing and could tell me what it is perchance I would greatly appreciate it 🙏

2. Create your Streamlabs ID and once that is created, log out of the web site and log in with the new Streamlabs ID. THAT log out/log in is important! Don’t skip this log out/log in!!!

3. Go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and unmerge your Twitch and then merge it back. Then log out of the Streamlabs web site.

4. You will need a never ever before followed you follow as a test.

If you already have a Streamlabs ID, skip step 1 but go ahead and log out and log in with your Streamlabs ID. This is important!

I am using the streamlabs tiktok featrue to stream via tiktok so it automatically comes up with the window when I go live. However there is no option apart from to read the chat. I can't mod it in anyway. I appreciate I could go through the live centre but then it would be independent and not via streamlabs. I used to have a key which I used via a live room but that disappeared and I'm not getting any where with contacting tiktok. It's frustrating that I can't mod. Does anyone know how to solve this? I'm in the UK so the US contacts can't seem to help.

I have been using stremlabs for quit a while but I face a problem with the subscriber alert which works well offline when I test it and when I am on stream they don't show up plus stremlabs chat bot doesn't show me that someone new had subscribed to my channel even tho I had done everything available on yt it would be great if I get help regarding this issue. 🥲

I want to have a landscape scene using my selfie cam with a portrait game added ontop.
PROBLEM: the portrait scene is rotated 90 degrees so the game is sideways over my camera.
Advanced settings does not allow rotation.

Try following these steps:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps".
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://imgur.com/1awbJYt)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

Hi there! I'm sorry you're having trouble with this - it's important to note that YouTube has a restriction with their API when it comes to subscribers. If a user subscribes to you while they have privacy settings enabled (on this page here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy), Streamlabs will be unable to see that subscriber data.

If you'd like to send me a link to your YouTube channel, I can subscribe from my account (which has no privacy settings enabled), and we can see if that comes through!

Hi there! If you're trying to add it directly to the transition, you will want to create a "Stinger" transition type, then the audio from your "video file" will play with your transition.

Alternatively, you can add a "Media File" to your scene that will play as soon as you transition to that scene.

Hey there! Since you just got your affiliate status, let's try refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch:

1. Log out of Streamlabs Desktop, Streamlabs.com, and any other Streamlabs product/service that you may be signed into
2. Follow the steps in this guide to remove the Streamlabs connection from Twitch: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account
3. Log back into Streamlabs.com with your Twitch credentials
4. Refresh the "Connections" page over on Twitch to ensure the Streamlabs connection came back

Are you able to try these steps, then also check one additional setting in Streamlabs Desktop?

1. Go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Output > Recording > disable "replay buffer"

Hello. I have a problem that hopefully someone can help with:

I do daily streaming on my main PC using Streamlabs Desktop with a scene collection that I've built and added to over the past few years. This morning, I attempted to open Streamlabs on an old PC, but was given an error saying that it couldn't update to the latest version of Streamlabs. Instead, I opened and older version of Streamlabs and it restored a scene collection from a years back.

A little while later, I opened Streamlabs on my main PC, only to find that my usual scene collection had been overridden by the "new" scene collection from years back. Now my usual scene collection is gone and it does not appear on the scene collection drop down list.

Is there any way to restore them?

Then clear the cache in your web browser for all time, restart the whole web browser, navigate back to the Streamlabs web site, log in, and try again. If you still have issues, use either Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Windows or Safari or Firefox on Mac. Make sure you’re not using a VPN or Ad Blocker.

Why would you want to use a RTMP URL and stream key for YouTube? We have integration with YouTube; meaning when you log in with your YouTube, Streamlabs Desktop automatically selects the RTMP URL and reads your stream key - you don't have to manually set those.

If not, try logging into Streamlabs Desktop with TikTok > click "Go Live" and there should be a button that takes you directly to the application.

But to directly answer your question, if you're streaming to YouTube via the Custome Destination, you can't use Dual Output to stream to TikTok as well. Custom Destination only streams to that one, single custom destination.

And I'm not always available, sorry. I do have an IRL job so I'm not in here 7x24. I'm human and do have to sleep, eat, walk the dog...

Hiii! With the cloud backup, your scenes/sources should still restore themselves after logging back in (after a cache clear), but you will lose your Streamlabs Desktop settings regardless/unfortunately there is no way around it.

I need help editing my landscape layout in streamlabs mobile, for some god-unknown reason it says you can only edit the layout if your phone is in landscape mode. I have tilted my phone sideways and yet I am still unable to acces the landscape version. The only way to make adjustment that I have found is to make a new scene and automatically be asked if I want to edit the landscape version. What causes frames to drop 60%? I stream to youtube every day just fine, but yesterday i paid for ultra and started streaming to youtube and tiktok and now my streams are lagging so bad they are not watchable. It says frame rate dropping 62% to be exact.

Hey yall. Just wondering. I’m getting about 97-100% skipped frames when streaming through a capture card on my Xbox to my MacBook. It has an intel i3 core. Already running it at super low quality streams. Anything else I can do? Or am I just running outdated tech and need to update?

Hello, i have been having some issues, recently wiped my pc, and after logging back in and getting everything sorted, its saying my ulta membership is not active, but when going to the dashboard it take me no where, and doesn't allow me to doing anything with the memberships tab, i just paid my membership 3 days ago. a day before i wiped everything, if i could get help that would be GREAT.

Also if you logout you probably cant log back in right this minute, or that is the case for me anyway but support told me it should be running normal again very soon.

Anyone else experiencing an issue where the jar won't empty when you click "empty jar" on the streamlabs web dashboard? It's happening to me on both Twitch accounts I manage.
