For the cookies issue: Theres a few possible solutions for this that should help resolve the issue

1. Log out of Streamlabs Desktop and go to Twitch.tv and go to your channel and open up the chat. There should be a cookies acceptance there and accept then log back into Streamlabs Desktop. If there isn't then go ahead and log back into Streamlabs Desktop and check once more.

2. Open up the chat on Streamlabs Desktop with the little arrow top right or left then see if the acceptance for cookies is there and accept

3. Create a website element by going to Streamlabs Desktop > bottom left > hit the 4 squares > replace one of your current components with "website element" then type in Twitch.tv/(usernamehere) > save changes top right and go to your channel to accept cookies. That's because your Output Resolution is set for the Portrait (Vertical) orientation. To fix this, click the ⚙️ icon to bring up Settings, then go to Video and then select the correct Output Resolution. For example if its set to 1080x1920, select 1920x1080.

Reset Cloudbot on your channel and see if that helps.

👉 IMPORTANT: Do not skip or shorten the waits.

1. Unmod streamlabs
2. Toggle Cloudbot off
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
4. Toggle Cloudbot back on

6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

Also make sure Streamlabs isn’t banned on your channel. If you’re using YouTube, note that you have to be live with a Public stream, Unlisted and Private streams won’t work with Cloudbot.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Not possible, sorry. Virtual Camera only works with the horizontal output.

2mbs is below the minimum recommended for streaming. You don’t want to use more than 75% of your upload bandwidth. You can try setting your bitrate to 1100 and see if that helps.

No. There has to be something wrong somewhere. Cloudbot is working fine on my channel.

Hi, I downloaded streamlabs desktop for Mac OS, I wanted to know if it is possible to have separate scenes and sources for both the 1920x1080 horizontal output and the 1080x1920 vertical output. Because it is inconvenient to have to remove a source from the vertical output again if for example before I had hidden it and when I hide it and reactivate it also from the horizontal it also returns to the vertical one (even if I had previously hidden it, I don’t know if I explained myself well). The possibility of resizing or moving the panels would also be convenient.

I don't believe this is possible, however the positioning of the sources within the scene can be moved around on both outputs, meaning you could try moving the source you want "hidden" outside of view so it's not visible in one of the outputs but remains visible in the other one.

Hello, I'm having (a lot) troubles getting streamlabs alerts on OBS. Like when I tested the variations on streamlabs site, they worked normally and perfectly but when the stream starts and especially when someone redeems smt from loyalty store, the alerts just didn't show. I've tried many methods I found on internet and through my friends but those alerts are still sleeping like they dont wanna wake up on my stream. I appreciate any kind of advice, thank you 😭

I'm sure you must have checked this already, but are the alerts enabled? Under cloudbot redemption? and are you under the right profile and not a shared access profile? I did that mistake once, I was changing stuff on the wrong profile

Shared access is a part of the website under your account settings where you can give access to someone you trust to manage certain parts of the dashboard for you, like a moderator or editor. But if you haven't touched it then it should not be a problem for this case.

Have you done test within the dashboard for the alert you're trying to trigger? and if you have does it send the alert on your stream when you do?

I did, it showed normally when I tested, even popped on my obs screen but when someone redeems it in real time the points are decreased, redeem notification is made but the alert doesnt pop up : ( And do I need to do this like the pic you attached?

If you've already tested it and obs caught the event correctly then I'm not sure what might be causing it not to detect the events correctly, I would say enable and then re-enable cloudbot on the dashboard. Which operating system are you working with?

Hi, I’m having an issue with an account I have shared access to. I was attempting to adjust our alert variations and when I’ve tried to upload a new image for the alert. I’m constantly stuck on this screen, it won’t load any further past this. I’m able to upload a new imagine with a DL Image Host but can’t upload anything via the media browser as it doesn’t load. We have tried removing and readding my access with no changes. In my own account I am able to access and load the media gallery aswell, it only won’t load on the shared access account. Does Streamlabs have a way to "switch my scene" so-to-speak if my bitrate drops below a specified value on the backend? For example, streaming while traveling using a hotspot, when I am in a bad data area automatically switch to a different "scene" that the viewers will see until my bitrate gets above the specified value. It would need to be done on the backend/cloud side obviously because if I don't have good data I won't be able to stream that scene. I've read articles and watched YouTube videos about doing it by running a separate RTMP server at home for example that always has a good connection and streaming from SLOBS to that RTMP server instead of diretly to Twitch/YouTube, but just checking if there's an easier way to accomplish this. Thanks in advance.

Check your Stream Output settings and your SLOBS Audio Mixer settings. You’re most likely pulling the vod track from AUDIO Track 2 and live from AUDIO Track 1.

If you want split tracks either enable your capture card in track 2 or if you don’t care for split tracks. Just disable the VOD Track setting in Stream Settings

Twitch vod track options is mainly for when you don’t want music included in your vods for copyright reasons. If your not fussed over it and want music in your vods just disable that option

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me with an audio issue I am having in stream labs with my sound alert bots. If I control the sound through the stream labs sound mixer I cannot hear the alerts in my headset but chat can hear the alert. (Everything is on Monitor and output). If I uncheck that box then I can hear it in my headset. The thing is I want to control my sounds through the mixer but I'm not sure if there is a sound setting somewhere in stream labs that is causing this issue. I didn't have this issue prior to this latest update.

Well because dual output is not the same as multistream, and one of the ways Streamlabs can offer you a good service is to give you dual output for free but with restrictions.

the restriction being that dual output needs to be 1 horizontal 1 vertical

You most likely have the Twitch Vod Track setting enabled and haven’t selected a track for it to pull from

Hi there! Yes, this can definitely happen when reaching affiliate status. Try following these steps, and the next time you receive a new sub, it should work for you!

• Log out of Streamlabs.com, Streamlabs Desktop, and any other Streamlabs product/app that you may be signed into
• Follow the steps in this guide to remove the Streamlabs connection from Twitch: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account
• Log back into Streamlabs.com with your Twitch credentials
• Refresh the "Connections" page over on Twitch to ensure the Streamlabs connection came back

Hi all. I've been helping a fellow streamer setup chatbot and have run into a small issue on her side.

When she adds an audio file, it won't let her preview it whatsoever. The command works, and the audio file works when played locally, but it will not preview in chatbot at all, and while the command displays text added to test it, it doesn't play the audio.

Hello, I would like to stream switch game, so I bought the elgato hd60x
the capture card is connected to my streamlabs, and the video works fine
the only issue I have, is that the audio is delayed by like 1 second, so I click something, and the "ding" sound comes through my headphone 1s late

1. Log out of the Streamlabs account you're currently using.
2. Log in with that YouTube account you're trying to merge.
3. Attempt to unmerge that YouTube account.
4. If the system successfully unmerges that YouTube account, log out.
5. Log into the other Streamlabs account where you want to merge that YouTube account.
6. Merge that YouTube account.

If you run into issues with this process, make sure you have a Streamlabs ID on the account where you want that YouTube account merged and log in that account with your Streamlabs ID. If you need to set up your Streamlabs ID: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-set-up-your-streamlabs-id. Note that the Streamlabs ID is email address based so please make sure you have access to that email address and type it correctly.

streamlabs desktop's implementation of per-application audio capture lacks the ability to set window match mode to match any windows of the same executable; this creates an issue where windows that dynamically change their window title (like most web browsers, including Opera) would not be re-captured after restarting the application; since the feature was ported over from obs-studio, it'd make sense to reimplement the window matching mode that obs-studio offers

if i can assume you're hosting a rtmp server with nginx-rtmp-module, you can follow this guide (skip the parts about compiling and installing nginx if you've already done that), your goal would be to configure nginx-rtmp-module to create an .m3u8 playlist and write .ts video chunks:

Im running my streams on twitch from Streamlabs on my MacBook Pro M2 14.6.1 IOS. I am finding i have to restart my laptop everytime i want to open Streamlabs. If i start from a fresh boot streamlabs works fine. Once I close it down, or shut the lid on my laptop is when the problem occurs. I cant then restrt streamlabs. You will either need a capture card, or you can use the remote play app on your PC. Then use streamlabs desktop to stream the content.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

I am trying to stream on my laptop (not my primary streaming PC), and everything works well except for the alerts not actually triggering on screen. I'm getting the notification in my mini feed, but no on screen. Pushing tests on Twitch and on Streamlabs itself works fine. Anyone have any issues with this before?

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

Hi, I am having an issue with my where my kick stream is being greyed out under the going live section but was working just this morning, I usually go live on both kick and twitch at the same time and now I can't because the on switch is greyed out for my kick option, but everything else is fine and can be switched on. I have logged out, and back in, switched out the stream key, and more, idk what to do or if there is anything to fix this problem

Hello fellas. Maybe someone on here can help. I’m trying to stream to TikTok and twitch on stream labs, but I have a very laggy stream. I am using the same exact settings as I was on OBS but can’t seem to figure out how make the stream run smooth. Any suggestions? My Internet is not the issue it’s the software. Internet is 950 download 30 upload

I’m not a fan of stream labs due to the constant issues, but TikTok requires this software when you’re under 10,000 followers

Hi all, super random question. I've been experimenting a lot with making commands that track information per user, via text documents. However I wondered is there a way to make it so it only updates the document, if the result of the command is higher than what's on document.

For example: If we had a command that gave a random number between 1-10, and we wanted it to track the highest result a user got ever. Is there a way to make it so the new number only overwrites the text file, if the number given is higher than the number that is already on the file?

So if they have 5 on record as their highest, and the command gives a 3 nothing happens, but if they get a 7 it updates the text file?

Or is this something I'd have to use a python script for?

Use Medium or Long Duration and choose all the ingests in your region. Don’t only choose the one closest to you.
Screen shot the results when it’s done.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

You’ll need to reach out to your ISP. Tell them you’re trying to live stream to Twitch and are getting disconnected. Be patient; this issue is one of the hardest to get resolved.

I have the same problem. Recent events isnt working for me for 2 days. Since I made affiliate. I've tried everything that I saw on the web about it, I dont think I can fix it. I've tried reauthing, logging out and in, remerging account, disconnecting sl from twitch, changing stream key, everything. It isnt working. At this point I am pretty sure that the problem is on their side and I can't fix it. Its basically receiving none of the activity on twitch. No follows no subs nothing, nothing appears in recent events on the website dashboard and thus I will receive no alerts from it on OBS. I dont know what else to try

Ive submitted a ticket but no reply so far I have no idea how long it takes, everything was working fine until I made affiliate and twitch asked me to enable 2FA and had to relog on all places after that its just dead.

If you made affiliate then what you would want to do is make sure that you're logged out of everything that is streamlabs related (streamlabs.com, streamlabs desktop, etc). Whatever is streamlabs log out. Then follow the stpes for Twitch disconnecting: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account

Then log into streamlabs.com and i can follow you to see if it works

Side note - that "what troubleshooting have you done" isn't to you, it was toward prophet

them maybe just to make sure there's no browser caching you could clear your browser cache files in OBS Studio. You can do that by:

1. Closing OBS Studio
2. Hit the Windows key + R
3. Paste the following and hit enter: %appdata%/obs-studio/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the Cache folder

Then you can reopen it but don't log into streamlabs at all

• Remove all Streamlabs Widgets from your streaming software
