- Twitch VOD Track is a new feature implemented in 1.1.x, which allows users to exclude audio from Twitch VODs (video on demand). 
- The purpose of this feature is to exclude DMCA/Copyright music from your VOD. To enable this feature, first verify you have version 1.1.0 or above, (you can verify your version in the top left of Streamlabs Desktop) if you do not have this version, head over to https://streamlabs.com and download a new installer. 

# To Configure: 
- Settings > Output > Enable "advanced encoder settings” (if in Simple Output Mode) > Enable “Twitch VOD Track (Uses Track 2)”. If you would like to utilize a different track you will need to be in Advanced output mode at the top of your Output settings. 

- Open Advanced Audio Options (settings wheel next to the Streamlabs Desktop mixer). 
- On the right hand side, see tracks 1 through 6 highlighted, if track 2 (default Twitch VOD Track) is highlighted for any audio sources, the audio will go through to the VOD. 
- If another VOD track is used, then that specific track will mute the audio going through to the Twitch VOD. 

Make sure to only use the Twitch VOD track for any audio that should go to the Twitch VOD. To exclude a source from the VOD, ensure the configured VOD track is not enabled.```

It’s not the amount of bandwidth you have. The issue is the path that the packets are taking as they travel from you across the internet to the ingest. Some of them are getting lost. It’s not a software problem. Are you streaming only to one platform or multistreaming?

Thr section labeled “Potential solutions for dropped frames and stream disconnects:” the first line clearly states it’s generally a network issue. Good news, it has like 10 things that might help.

Currently on a stream after having to recover my Twitch account, I am getting no alerts of subs, resubs, or raids, either on the Alert Box, on the Streamlabs Recent Events dashboard, or even in the Analytics section.

The only alerts that seem to work are bit alerts-- which ARE being tracked in Analytics-- and if I repeat an alert from the last stream I did. Is there any way I can fix this?

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

I’m not sure why you replied to an issue that’s not your’s. You aren’t using Streamlabs Console since it doesn’t work with YouTube.

If you’re having resolution issues, I would go to Settings > Video and ensure that the Base Resolution is set to the same as your monitor and that the Output Resolution is set to what ever resolution you want to stream with.

I don’t have this kind of setup. Have you followed the installation guide that came with your capture card? That would be best since it should have instructions for MacOS. Thanks for reaching out about this - at this time, Streamlabs Music cannot be "whitelisted" for Twitch, so users run the risk of having their VODs muted on Twitch's end when using Streamlabs Music. I'm very sorry about that as I do wish I had a better answer for you! Having the VODs muted means that you won't receive copyright strikes, but we understand this isn't ideal.

My cloudbot commands are not generating in Twitch. I have deactivated , signed out, signed in, and reactivated after 10 minutes in on my dashboard. Streamlabs and streamlabs chatbot are connected in twitch. The commands are checked green. User streamelements is not banned and is showing as an active mod in my chat. Not sure what else I am missing.

I'm not sure what exactly is your issue but you've mentioned three different configurations that don't work together.

Cloudbot https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/mod-tools is completely separate from Chatbot https://streamlabs.com/desktop-chatbot and neither require Streamelements (a completely different company from Streamlabs) to be a moderator.

👉 If you're using Cloudbot, you need to make sure that Streamlabs is a moderator on your channel by typing /mod streamlabs in your Twitch chat.

👉 If you're using Chatbot, you need to make sure that you have a seperate Twitch channel for the bot and that you generate new tokens for the streamer, bot, and Streamlabs accounts using the links below. Note the copy button doesn't work so manually copy and paste the tokens in Chatbot and remember to use a different web browser or incognito window for either the streamer or bot account to avoid authentication issues and once you've update each of the three accounts, restart Chatbot.

And it isn't watch time I feel like, because when I tested, send "!time" command it showed 0.00 hrs

Which means it start to record when you give it command

Then there are commands

• "!stop" to stop recording time
  And
• "!sb"(i.e. short brake) that will stop recording the time for 10 mins and then start recording again once 10 mins are completed

Streamlabs can't start recording a time in general. Most likely it is watch time. YouTube is interesting because it only can add points to users that are "active" meaning typing in chat. So if you haven't really interacted with the chat before it won't record the time.

Unles they have another bot other than Streamlabs that is recording that but streamlabs is the one that is giving directions

I have been using streamlabs for several months for streaming to Twitch and then recently I got access to stream to TikTok Live. Everything on my end/streamlabs end says I go live because a new window/tab pops up and I can view my stats, etc. However, when I'm in the TikTok app, I am trying to apply to the subscription creator to make money and it is saying I haven't unlocked the full LIVE experience, yet there is data in my LIVE tab with my previous TikTok live streams. since replay buffer is a recording, you could try to make your Twitch VOD track match your recorded tracks.so like, Twitch VOD track in this case is track 2. by clicking the ⚙️ to the right of the mixer i scrolled down to audio tracks and turned off 1& 2 for recording.

ThenI just clicked 3 for what i wanted to sound on my replay buffer. TBF IDK if this works, but to me this makes sense because replay buffer is basically using recording. but you would need to try it out

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

That’s a common issue with Kick. To ensure that this doesn’t happen; set your Output Resolution to 1280x720, set your bitrate no higher than 3500, and set the title AND category of your stream on your Kick Dashboard before going live.

Been using Streamlabs for 3 years. Suddenly every time I open it-streamlabs asks me a bunch of questions and gives splash page forcing me to jump through a bunch of repetivie hoops. This is frustrating. How do I make this nonsense stop?

I am trying to divide my 24 hour stream into multiple computers (mini Macs) to let the devices cool. I have saved VLC music files on an external hard drive that I am switching between the computers. I'm a noob to using streamlabs. I want to be able to schedule streams for the future, but I don't seem to have the schedule stream icon in the bottom right. I've gone through all the settings and can't find anywhere to turn it one. I have Twitch, and now YouTube, connected and I've successfully gone live with streamlabs, but just can't schedule ahead.
There doesn't seem to be anything in Streamlabs docs about this either. The docs only show how to schedule a stream assuming the icon is there, which is not the case for me.

Did streamlabs remove the ability to schedule a stream?

Hi, since some time I don't receive anymore any Alert in chat, on the screen they work perfectly, but nothing written in chat, except for the Raids (I use 2 screens to stream, 2nd screen is smaller the the primary one, to me it will be great to read on chat who donated, subbed and so on).
Oh I almost forgot: I use also Streamlads Chatbot combined.

Is there any way to use the follower goal widget for both YouTube and Twitch so that they each have their own separate goals? Hello guys, I have a problem.

Today I advanced to partner of Twitch. I'm using Streamlabs to get all the alerts both for Twitch and Youtube. Yesterday there was no problem - people could follow/sub/raid and I saw all the information. Today, after I relogged on Twitch the only alerts that was shown on stream was BITS. Only bits were also shown in Event List. All the other didn't appear on event list and also no alert while streaming.

Hello all. Newbie question. I saw Streamlabs advertised at GDQ so I wanted to try it. It won't, however, let me connect my YT channel. It keeps saying "Please connect a Google account that has an active YouTube Channel". I can log into my YT account and go into my channel settings and everything. Anyone know what is going on? Hello :D This might be an odd issue but I set up alerts in streamlabs desktop but then updated my theme on streamlabs.com. the alerts are still the old theme even though the new theme is selected. i tried closing and reopening as well as removing and replacing the alert box source. Is there a chance that my streamlabs desktop account is different from my streamlabs.com account even though they're linked to the same social media accounts? @fresh sandal streamlabs does something weird to undo any custom CSS you do in browser source properties, you have to go to the widget settings on streamlabs' website and enable custom CSS there, and paste it there

@glad valve @cloud basin We're currently investigating an issue with the import in Crossclip. Currently we don't have any fix. Instead of importing, you could try saving the clip and uploading it instead of reporting. It's not a great workaround, but it should work for the time being.

That's caused by Windows Update. Certain cumulative updates will cause all the device ID's behind the scenes to change. You'll need to manually select your devices again. This is due to the way Microsoft has designed Windows. Its not a broke with Streamlabs Desktop.

Based on that picture, it would appear that you might not be live with a Public stream; Unlisted or Private won't work.

I started having an annoying problem in streamlabs desktop…. if I'm playing and I want to check something on streamlabs and I press the windows button and zoom in on streamlabs I notice that the preview of the scene is frozen... if I switch to studio mode and start again, it works again... because

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trial; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

Hey if anyone could help that would be amazing! I have been using Streamlabs alerts with OBS Studio for YEARS. Randomly last week my alerts stopped working, I send test alerts and see nothing, if I open up streamlabs desktop the tests work there. I have deleted and re added the browser source, reset my API token, basically everything I can think of. Any idea why this would be happening? Seems to have started happening since they updated the alert configuration dashboard. It’s driving me nuts, I need my alerts working and I really don’t wanna use streamelements I like streamlabs. Please help!

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting.

Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. If this icon is a play button, your alerts were paused.

2. Hit windows key + R

macOS does not have "desktop audio" capture the way we know it on Windows. To accomplish this, you will need third party software such as Blackhole or Loopback (costs $99)

@lyric compass the "group" feature in obs-studio (either adding a new Group, or selecting sources and choosing "group selected items) has multiple known bugs and can rarely cause the scene collection to corrupt entirely; i can't confirm whether or not that's what happened here, but it's possible given your symptoms; unfortunately, this can't be fixed, so i can only advise re-creating your scene collection by hand

(and don't use groups this time, use nested scenes instead if needed), they don't have any such issues but are less convenient

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Interesting question here, Is there a way for me to allocate/allow streamlabs to use more ram/cpu? I'm noticing that my streamlabs starts lagging when I go live (It shouldn't) but the game/any external applications run fine. The cpu usage in the bottom left never goes above 10-15%. When rewatching the VOD, I noticed that the lag actually causes the audio to desync with the video, and my desktop output audio to desync with my own mic audio. Is that possible, and would it solve the issue?

For future reference - Edge/Microsoft had a service update - if you go press Cntl+Shift+Del in Edge, scroll down and select "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge" and clear that for All Time. That's what worked for me!

That’s a pretty sweet error. I found this on the streamlabs help site. I’d also recommend a reboot as well.

(Re)Install Microsoft Visual C++ redist 2017.
(Re)Install the latest drivers for your GPU.
If you record and stream at the same time, use a different recording encoder as your stream encoder.
If you record and stream at the same time, use "Same as Stream" quality.

$4.99 sounds like the monhly subscription cost for Streamlabs Console, which lets you stream from your Xbox to Twitch.

Streamlabs Desktop is completely free as are all of our widgets, like the Alert Box, Chat Box, Event List, etc. You can extend your Streamlabs experience with Streamlabs Ultra: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/is-streamlabs-ultra-worth-it

Streamlabs Ultra is completely optional and isn't required.

i cannot log in every time i press sign in with twitch a loading animation pops up for a millisecond. Then nothing happens. No other buttons work as the do the same except for the bootom stream key options.
