i'm not sure what you mean. You would need to go to the apple updater and try to update to at least macOS 12 (Monterey). If you're able to do it, do it. If not, unfortunately Streamlabs Desktop won't work because anything older than macOS 12 isn't supported by Apple anymore

Could be a corrupt Scene Collection. I create a new Scene Collection and create two Scenes and just put one Source in each and see how it performs switching between those Scenes. If no issue, then I'd recreate your Scenes and Sources in this new Scene Collection from scratch; don't copy/paste things over. The once you feel comfortable with the new Scene Collection, delete the other Scene Collection.

So re-create a scene from scratch? It’s usually when I cycle to or from one specific scene.

Create a new Scene Collection. Click the down arrow to the left of the Scene Collection name, choose Manage Scene Collections, and then create a new Scene Collection there. Then create two Scenes and put something like the Alert Box Widget in each scene and see how SLD performs when changing scenes.

Just adding a new Scene to what maybe a corrupted Scene Collection won't be an effective test.

If I recall from your ping yesterday when I wasn't available due to my IRL job duties, you're using Streamlabs Mobile? If so that's tough to do there just because of the way audio is handled on mobiles devices. Usually only the application in the foreground will be capable of producing audio.

hi, quick question about streamlabs charity, inquiring on behalf of someone at a registered charity looking into which platform to use for a fundraiser. does it allow donations through stripe for credit cards, or just paypal?

Any updates on this? I have never had so much lag on streamlabs since one of the last updates. It's fine for a while, but over time, I stream 12 hours usually, it really bogs down and becomes hard to scroll through or get any fluidity like before. It doesnt appear to be using high cpu, but it does seem to interfere with some games I play at times. Not sure when the most recent update was.

Go into the Layout Editor. If you have the Stream Preview, swap it out for the Layout Editor.

Twitch VOD Track is only available if you're logged in with your Twitch. If you're not logged in or if you're logged in with a different platform, you won't see that option.

Can we set a custom password for login or should we make a separate user for the gaming team to login? Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trail; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

For your issue, go the Advanced Audio Settings. Open the Source Settings for your Microphone and make sure Downmix to Mono is toggled off.

Streamlabs Desktop is built on the open source code for OBS Studio. There's some subtle differences between the two. Nothing earth shattering but knowing which ahead of time might make managing things easier.

Then I'd suggest logging in with the Twitch first, then merge the other platforms. Don't log in with the other platforms - that would create a different Streamlabs account for each. For example, here's my Streamlabs account. You can see I have all the platforms but TikTok merged.

Yes, all the other platforms would say Merge in your case. And you can merge TikTok if y'all are using it; I just don't use TikTok so I haven't merged it. Can't merged an account I don't have.

Whoever pays the bills I suppose. The owner would the one controlling the email address for the Streamlabs ID. The members would obviously need to know the Streamlabs ID (the email address), the password, and they would need some method of getting the 2FA codes.

Why is this there twice?

You should only have one Desktop Audio device.

And make sure your channels are set to Stereo. It looks like you may have them set to 7.1 which is likely the source of the issue. No platform will accept sound in 7.1.

Furture proofing I would definitely sign in with Twitch first. That way if the name of the Twitch channel ever is changed, the Tip (Donation URL) will change along with it. Then merge TikTok and Facebook. If you log in first with any other platform than Twitch, you will never be able to have the Tip URL auto update.

Hey there. The Steamlabs ID is tied to the whole Streamlabs account, not any particular platform merged in the Streamlabs account. As far as I know, Streamlabs ID’s can’t be moved to another account but you should put in a ticket to verify that: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Since us Volunteers aren’t Streamlabs employees, we just don’t have any access to the systems so we just can’t assist with account issues.

Hey all. I noticed a small issue after watching my stream back. I stream from Streamlabs to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook and I have all alerts off yet I kept seeing pop ups on the screen as this one. Does anyone know how to remove/disable this? I just can't tell what platform it's coming from.

This looks like an Apple feature - I imagine it would need to be turned off somewhere in your iPhone's settings. Whenever you make certain shapes with your hands (a heart, peace sign, thumbs up), it puts those little icons on the screen. It isn't something that can be disabled within Streamlabs, however.

Or it's coming from Facebook. 🤔

Those are the only two things I can think - that could be a Facebook "like" reaction.

Hello! I have no idea, but maybe in windows, your microphone properties, there is an option for boost it. Check it. Right click in speaker icon->Open sound config->on the right click in Sound Control Panel, then go to Recording tab, click your microphone and go properties, in Levels tab i have a slider for Microphone Amplification. I seem to have unstable frames whenever I’m streaming through Streamlabs on my PC. It only seems to be when I stream because when I record or multi task of any other kind , my games are super smooth. I have a GEFORCE RTX 4070 Graphics card and an Intel i7 13th Gen CPU, all the temps look fine and stable when running so I’m not sure what the issue is 🤔

In the YouTube tutorials, they set the theme to Clean, copy the url, and paste it into OBS's Browser Source, and it looks like that Classic Twitch chat which IShowSpeed and xQc have in their streams. I cant seem to manage to achieve that same look

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

No. It will try and use what ever you put in. You have to be congizant of your Internet upload speed as well.

Hey so I stream League of Legends a lot and I've never had a problem with FPS before, but after their recent update of removing DX9 I was dropping to extremely low framerates in game and getting inconsistent FPS, I thought it was just League because I would always stream while I played. Fast forward to a few days ago and I decided to play without streaming with a friend, and I noticed my FPS didn't drop one bit, so I think it must have something to do with StreamLabs OBS since that was the only program I didn't have open. I haven't tested playing the game and just having the program open, and not broadcasting, but I can do that if needed.

TLDR: I think StreamLabs OBS is dropping my framerates in League of Legends, any ideas?

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.

Then in your Project, toggle on this setting in the Alert Box component.

run mkvtoolnix gui (https://mkvtoolnix.download/downloads.html#windows), drop the 01st file in, then select the remaining files (02 through 06), drag-drop 02 into the mkvtoolnix gui window and choose "append to an existing source file"; change the output file extension from mkv to a different one if necessary, then click start multiplexing

TLDR: StreamLabs OBS is dropping my FPS in League of Legends, I get 240 FPS (capped) when stream labs is not open, ~80-110 when streaming, ~120 with Streamlabs open on the side, and ~150 with it minimized. Anyone know any solutions?

One is the newest elgato the 4k x and the other is the model before that. Both act the same. It's odd because it will be half the screen either right or left and sometimes the whole screen. To do this, you'd have not use the Alert Box Widget and instead use two different Browser Sources:

1. Go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
2. Click Filter Events. Uncheck everything except for Cloudbot Redemption.
3. Copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in that URL.
4. Go back to the Filter Events button, uncheck Cloudbot Redemption and check everythjing else.
5. Copy the Widget URL and add a new Browser Source (don't reuse the existing one 😉 ) and paste in that URL.
6. Viola!

Hi! I started using the application through the Streamlabs Console website and the operation was adequate, I was even able to use it from my phone through the browser and it also worked well. The problem is that I can't log in to my streamlabs console account now. It shows me two login options, the first one is with the streamlabs ID, but I get a "401/Unauthorized" message and the second option is through the Twitch account the message "500/Server error" appears. So I can't access my streamlabs console account. Access to twitch and streamlabs in their other modalities is normal. How do I regain access to my Streamlabs console account? The problem began 2 days ago.

Hi! I have searched for a little bit and haven't found any answer that seems to work completely. I want to stream on Discord and Record my gameplay. I tried to stream through the native feature on discord and recording on StreamLabs but the recording froze after 30 seconds and only recorded audio from the Desktop audio. Based on the help that I did find I found out that Discord is not showing StreamLabs as a Virtual Camera, even though I have Virtual Camera downloaded and running. Recording works as intended and Screen Share works as intended but they do not work at the same time.

1. On Every device you've access them with: Log out out of the Streamlabs Console web site and the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out.
2. Clear the cache in your web browser for all time. Just the cache. Don't clear anything else.
3. Restart the web browser.
4. Navigate to the main Streamlabs web site here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and log in with your Streamlabs ID, don't log in with your Twitch.
5. Unmerge and merge back your Twitch.
6. Log out of the main Streamlabs web site.
7. Log in the main Streamlabs web site with your Twitch.
8. Navigate to the Streamlabs Console web site and log in with your Twitch.

We've found where the guest can choose to share their screen or not but once they choose to do so, it replaces their camera with their screen in the host's session. Hi y’all, I have some questions about how to set up moderating for tts donos. We have set it up using the settings shown on the attached images, including using the censor option.

Currently, on these settings, we are facing a problem where the tts is starts to play before the tip notifications are displayed, making it so the tip notification is interrupting the tts and the stream is unable to see who is donating until halfway through the message is spoken.

Is there anything we can change to fix this so that both the tts and tip notifications are held and played out together when approved (or with the tts after the notification)?

I need help setting up my audio… Im playing on a ps5 with an hd60s Elgato capture card. I have Logitech wired headset and a hyperx solo cast microphone. I have the elgato chat link cable.. for some reason my game audio is fine but no one can hear me or my team.. I would really love to be able to have my headset mic working for my teammates and my hyperx mic for my stream chat.. I am new to streaming with streamlabs so any help is appreciated.. I’ve been dealing with this for 2 weeks!! Someone please help!

Streamlabs keeps crashing my computer. I did multiple hardware tests, looked at my event viewer, did all these things to make sure it was streamlabs and not my computer. My PC only crashed while I am streaming on streamlabs. I have no idea why, I can not find anything online as what coud be causing it. I do the diagnostic report, but all it says is to paste the report ID, but it doesn't provide a link or tell you where? I need some help on figuring out why streamlabs is causing my computer to crash and how I can fix it.

I am having an issue with sharing my screen through Discord, doesn't matter the resolution or framerate, and recording through StreamLabs at the same time. It will record audio perfectly fine through the entire recording, the video will be choppy and then freeze completely after about 5 minutes of recording.

Then when I go to stop the recording, it'll spin a circle of dots and start recording again. Afterwards, I can't click on anything on the StreamLabs Screen and have to force close.

I need help. I am a full time streamer, and I've been using streamlabs desktop app for over 5 years now. I have major problems with this program that are still not fixed. I'm also an Ultra member. Can I please get assistance from a tech?

My main problems include>

• My chatbox keeps freezing and then snapping back after awhile. This has been an issue that started 2 or 3 years ago. Support told me it's a known issue and this problem is STILL not fixed.

• I'm using multistreaming, but my audience on YouTube sometimes gets a lag spike that is a few seconds long if I stream for over an hour. While the lag spike isn't long, its enough to cause my viewership's to drop and I've become VERY annoyed by this. This happened on Today's stream for example. The YouTube feed lagged. But twitch was totally fine.

• The multistream chat on the desktop app works for only like 30 minutes, then it only shows me Twitch's chat. Making me have to manually open YouTube's chat or refresh every 30min.

• Just now when I ended my stream, the app itself was frozen when i activated my credits. Even though I was still live, the program froze and I couldn't end my stream. I needed to end the program on task manager to end my streams today.

That is just a few things off the top of my head. Tbh as a long time streamer who has stuck with Streamlabs. I love the convenience, but I'm growing very annoyed by these problems, some of which has not been addressed for years. I hope I can get support that can give me some answers on how to properly fix these issues. I don't really want to simply just hear "we are aware of this issue" with no solution or timeline given. The chat problem was told to me 3 years ago. I really want to solve it. ANd the fact that IO pay for this program now makes these issues even more frustrating as they hinder my chat's experience.

That's because your Output Resolution is set for the Portrait (Vertical) orientation. To fix this, click the ⚙️ icon to bring up Settings, then go to Video and then select the correct Output Resolution. For example if its set to 1080x1920, select 1920x1080.

Then I would also check the Base Resolution. The Base Resolution should be the same resolution your monitor(s) are set.

The once you feel comfortable with the new Scene Collection, delete the other Scene Collection.

I would then recreate the conditions and have the Task Manager open and hopefully better see what maybe causing the issue. If your GPU is an Nvidia based, there's been a few driver updates so I'd makre sure that the video card drivers are up to date. Make sure that at least your C: drive is not low on free disk space.

Please perform a clean install of your GPU Drivers. Once you've completed them, you will need to restart your PC.

I got the Problem that if someone writes in my chat the chatbox on stream shows the mesaage with a 10 seconds delay and I dont know why. I got low latency so I can interact with my viewers nearly in real time but the chatbox is still having delay. Is there a solution?

10 seconds is really good with low latency. There's nothing to fix. It never will be real time as it takes time for information to flow to the ingest, for it to be processed, and sent out over the API.

No I didnt mean that I know that I would never be able to interact with viewers in real time but when someone writes in chat I can read it and all but on the screen /chatbox it appears 10 second later after the message was send and that is an Issue that I havent had before. It occoured after I tried to fix my video settings. I think its complicated to explain.

Maybe the path between you and the ingest has changed and it is taking longer for packets to reach the ingest. That would all be up to your ISP on how it routes packets across the internet.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

No, that would mute it on stream. It seems I didn't fully understand your post. If you don't want the in-game chat to hear your mic but still have it be heard on stream, you'd have to mute the microphone in the game.
