Quick question. In obs if I had text in the source right above the source window I could change the text and it would change live without doing anything even in studio mode. In Streamlabs it seems that in studio mode not only do I have to open a text window but when I make a change I have to send it to the live if I am in studio mode. This is an issue for me because i change text alot because of score keeping and I like to use studio mode to push diffrent camera angles. Any thoughts on this?

Hey I hope it's alright to ask here, I'm trying to fix StreamLabs cloudbot bot on Youtube, but it's not working out anymore when I go to the dashboard of streamlabs and enabling my cloudbot on youtube it's not toggling on , "NOTE: im using Nightbot on Twitch" I just want to use Cloudbot on Youtube.

Make sure Streamlabs isn’t banned on your channel. Then reset Cloudbot on your channel and see if that helps.

👉 IMPORTANT: Do not skip or shorten the waits.

2. Toggle Cloudbot off

4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
5. Mod streamlabs
6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

That TikTok account is already merged in another Streamlabs account. Log out of the account you are currently logged in with, log in with that TikTok acocunt and unmerge it there. Then log out and log in with the account you were using originally then attempt to merge the TikTok.

You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Either one of those options will start your 7 day free trail; cancel before the end of that 7 day period to avoid getting charged for the first term you select.

hi, i am using streamlabs desktop to record clips from a camera input through a cam link 4k, which is usually ~1 min videos every few minutes or so continuously (as a monitoring system). however after a few hours to a day or so, the input from the camera freezes (the camera itself is on and functioning) and the videos recorded are also frozen. the problem is only resolved by refreshing the input or replugging. does anyone know what could be the problem, if it is a system os feature or a streamlabs problem? thank you!

Having some issues with framedrops and its causing my streamlabs OBS to stop responding why cant i stop stream or adjust anything in the application at all i had frame drops before and i was able to mess around in OBS and change a few settings but why is this happening now with frame drops?

Heya friend! I did these things in this order:

Made a twitch account
Made a Streamlabs account
Changed my Twitch name
Logged into my Streamlabs account

Streamlabs was at this point showing my old twitch name instead of my updated one. I spent some time on streamlabs figuring stuff out, and then I logged out of streamlabs. I logged back into streamlabs with the "login with twitch ID" method and specifically used my updated twitch name, not the old one, but my name is still displayed as the old one.

I'm also getting an endless loading error trying to log into chat. I was able to go live, and was able to find my stream on twitch using my correct, updated twitch name

Recap: changed twitch name, streamlab is showing me my old twitch name but successfully streaming under my new one - also my chat's not working and I suspect they're related

Thanks for confirming. Let's at least run the Twitch Test and make sure there's no issues in the Internet between you and Twitch. See the post below from the bot. Run the test on Medium or Long Duration; Short Duration give bad results. Also make sure nothing on your computer is uploading anything.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

1. Log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it with. Click your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out.
2. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see the tagged post below).
3. Wait a minute or two.
4. Log in in Streamlabs Desktop with your new Twitch name. This will update the system with your new name.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

Your Output Resolution is incorrect. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video. If the Output Resolution field is, for example, 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080. Basically, just swap the two values.

Heya guys, I was thinking about purchasing ultra to multistream to youtube and twitch. However I was wondering since the Copyright rules are a bit different for both platforms if it was possible to have my music play on twitch, but not on youtube. Currently I have my music on a different track which wont go to my twitch VOD (for DMCA). However Youtube doesnt allow for copyright music to be played during the live stream. Technically yes but you need to have multiple instances of streamlabs open but I wouldnt recommend it as it would cause problems. I know youtube is working on an AI filter for music so unless they add that to streaming for now the easiest and honestly best answer for now would be no.

hello, I want to stream my twitch streaming with my tablet PC. but there is some trouble.
I want to use media sharing widget showing requested youtube video, so I set it up on my streaming screen and try to start it. But there is no video only audio sound on screen.

I’d hazard to guess you have a scheduled stream in YouTube. I would go to your YouTube Studio, click Content, click Live and if you have an upcoming event there, delete that one. Make sure you don’t click the button in Streamlabs Desktop that has the calendar icon on it, that schedules your stream.

After that launch Steamlabs Desktop and log in with your YouTube to re-establish the connection.

Some games deliberately block game capture for anti cheat purposes. You can try setting your game to a windowed mode and in game capture change the mode to capture specific window. If that gives you a black screen, you’d have to try window capture.

Try the different Capture Methods with your game. One might cause a yellow border to appear, that’s only at your end and doesn’t show on stream or on the recording.

Okay, thanks for trying that. Let’s check your connection to the Twitch ingest. Run the Twitch Test: select Medium or Long duration and select all the ingests in your region. Don’t use your upload bandwidth while the test is running. Screen shot the results.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Specifically set your Desktop Audio and Microphone devices. Sometimes the setting of Default which means use whatever is set in Windows doesn’t actually pick up those Windows settings.

And I’d disable that Mic/Aux device 3 unless you really have three different microphones.

Meaning set that selection to Disabled in Streamlabs Desktop.

Not actually remove the device from your system.

Yeah, with the custom ingest option, the widgets may not work since that doesn't use the Streamlabs to Twitch API connection. If you're not geographically near Paris, you should reach out to your ISP; they seem to be blocking access to the Twitch ingests or something in between your ISP and the Twitch ingest is blocking access. No way to tell from here.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
• This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
• Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.

Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

Okay, shut down your PC. When it power off, pull the power cable from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes. After that plug in the power cable and let the cable mode come fully up. Then power on your computer and try and go live again.

So I had a free streamlabs account that I like sign in with through twitch and I wanted to try multi stream so I bought a month of ultra but it’s saying I don’t have it whenever I open the desktop app but when I sign in through streamlabs on the web browser it says I have it but I don’t have my twitch linked so I pressed to like connect the IDs because it recognized I had two accs now with the same gmail and login and it keeps saying successfully linked and tells me to re log in to verify but it won’t let me login

I can still log in through twitch but then it says the accounts aren’t linked yet and It will keep looping telling me to link the accounts and saying success with nothing changing

Hello! i'm looking for some desktop audio help, everytime I play anything while trying to stream etc it doesnt come through desktop audio at all? it's set to default device which works on every other program so idk what the problem really is? It also for some reason muted the voice chats in game like in game chat and discord audio but the game audio stayed without an issue? I know I have it set up to where spotify doesnt go through vods but I've never had this issue before where discord/ in game voice chat just doesnt get audio any help would be awesome! 🙂

Hello, I’m trying to add a Stream Label source. The problem is that when I go to add the label, there is no option to select what type of label I want. In the Streamlabs tutorial the user interface is different. I’ve tried downloading different versions, trying it on a Mac and PC, drag and dropping files from the stream labels app. I’m sure the solution is something insanely simple but I’ve been completely unable to solve it or find a tutorial/video/thread to explain it. Hi, I'm having a serious issue trying to log into twitch through the destop app

Whenever I try, I get {"status":401,"message":"invalid csrf token"} as an error message, and if I try to use a browser other than my default, the streamlabs site just says that it can't log me in at this time.

Hey buddy. I'm no mod but I would setup "Audio input capture". If you using headphones you would probably want to go to the "mixer" and do monitor output so you can hear it. Hope this helps

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

Hello everyone i'm looking for advice: a shortish run down is that i took a break from streaming then came back after 3-4 months but when i recieve alerts when i'm live (follows, subs, etc) it won't go through on stream but when i hit the "replay event" button it will go through and process normally so if i were to stream and see an alert i would have to alt tab from a game and replay the alert for it to show and i can't fix it to play the first time with no added input from me

I'd definitely recommend capping the in game FPS to a multiple of 60 (60, 120, or 180 - nothing higher), set the refresh rate of your monitor(s) to the same value, and set the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to the same value.

That seems like a Twitch issue and not a Streamlabs issue even though it involves the Streamlabs channel. I don't even see any moderators on your channel. Do you have a good friend who you can add as a moderator to test with?

The stream is never going to look exactly like it does on your monitor. Best you can do is to get the best yuou can with your existing hardware and Internet connection. The platform you're streaming with also impact stream quality.

What platform are you streaming with and please screen shot Settings > Video and Settings > Output from Streamlabs Desktop and what is your Internet upload speed?

Hi guys. I was having issues with alerts showing up on OBS. It was fine until I redid my computer, but now it doesn't show anyting when i'm live. It works just fine when I send a test, but not during the real thing.

roughly half the time when I stream my ping goes crazy and like I sound like a robot in discord, I rubber band in games and my stream lags. When I end stream it goes back to normal. I have checked my upload and it seems fine. Are there some settings I could change to fix this?

Sounds robotic? That could mean either your Sample Rate or Channels or both are set incorrectly. Please make sure your Sample Rate is 48khz and your Channels are Stereo.

And make sure your Audio Bitrate is at the default of 160 at Settings > Output.

I would try Game Capture rather than Screen Capture
It might offer a bit better performance. Your upload speed and Facebook are the limits for your. Facebook limits the bitrate to 4000 if you're not in their LevelUp program https://www.facebook.com/fbgaminghome/creators/levelup. But even then, I wouldn't recommend a bitrate of 6000 as that's nearly all your upload bandwidth and that could cause other issues like dropped frames. This looks to be about the best we can get for you at the moment.

If you experience high ping / latency issues when you are streaming, try enabling the Low Latency mode option in Settings > Advanced to reduce how often Streamlabs Desktop outputs data to the network. This comes at the risk of increased frame drops if the connection to the streaming server is poor.

Curious. Download a fresh installer from the web site. Quit Streamlabs Desktop. Run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Please give the following a try to make sure nothing is stuck in the cache. This will make Streamlabs Desktop launch as a first-time setup. However, scenes and sources should load on login, and if something is still missing we can still rename the folder back so no need to worry about losing data.

Make sure Streamlabs Desktop is closed and not running in the background in task manager.
Navigate to %appdata% in Windows Explorer.
Rename the slobs-client folder to _slobs-client
Open up Streamlabs Desktop again and see if it works.

Not sure if this is the proper channel, but I have been approved to give live on TikTok through SLOBS. I can go live through SLOBS individually and TikTok through their live studio, but I can not multistream because I can not locate the TikTok stream key. Can anyone guide me where to find this potentially? Thanks for any help 🙂

I'm a stream labs ultra member and for some reason I can't chat in the vip-suppprt section. It even reflects on my account here. Can you grant me access? Also, it seems there is a bug with going live on Twitch when multi streaming. If you have auto record on, it will not always go live on Twitch. Turning off auto record resolved the issue. Any idea when this will be fixed?

I would suggest creating a new Scene Collection and then see what the CPU usage is. It sounds like you might have a corrupted scene or source. If the usage in the new Scene Collection is back to “normal”, then manually create your scenes and sources from scratch; don’t copy/paste them as that might copy over the corruption.

Our integration wouldn't require a stream key, but rather, you'll want to apply for streaming access via this link here: https://www.tiktok.com/falcon/live_g/live_permission_apply/intro/index.html?id=GL9922453862370597343 and once you are approved, you should be able to log out of Streamlabs Desktop > log back in with TikTok and go live using the integration (with no need for a stream key).

Run the Twitch Test, see the tagged post below from the bot.

Use Medium or Long duration. Short Duration sounds wonderful becuase, you know short, but it will give you inconsistent results. Also choose all of the ingests in your region. Screen shot the results once its complete. Make sure nothing else there is using your Internet upload bandwidth.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

When I have Selective Recording on, it shows the stream preview. But when it is on I cant use dual output. When I turn selective recording off, I can no longer see the stream preview.

Go into the Layout Editor. Swap out the Stream Preview for the Editor Display, save changes and let me know if that helps.

I logged out and logged back in. When I click go live I am still told that the server URL and the stream key is needed. I can send screenshots here if you prefer 🙂

Also, when I click the link, it does say LIVE access through PC or Console is not approved/revoked, but I did apply directly through the SLOBS app via the notification tab in the bottom left in the desktop version.

Hi there. I tried to use search for "follower goal bar" and I am not finding my answer. I'm using the free version of Streamlabs and I am unsure if that is the issue.

I'm trying to make the bar less wide, so it's maybe half the size of the width it is. I can't simply resize it on screen because it's going to squish the text if I only change the width and it'll look hideous.

Is there anyway I can edit the size of the width while retaining the text size?

Alternatively, is there anyway I can get the (older?) style of Twitch followe/subr goal to show despite only having the new option? The new one has the text above the bar and hearts above it etc. Old one has the heart and text inside the bar.

I have tried Google and reddit as well I am coming up with no luck. Thank you if youc an assist.

If you can get the other to pause their Internet activity, shutdown your PC. Pull the power cable,from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes. The plug it back in and wait for the modem to come fully up. The boot your PC and try again. If others in the house are also using the upload bandwidth, this also could be an issue.

Hello! I'm having an issue when using the media share tool on the streamlabs site.
After a video plays, the media share freezes in obs and on the site. it wont disappear until the skip button is pressed.
Is there a fix to this?

You can try a reset of Media Share:

1. Turn off Cloudbot.
2. Disable Media Share Widget.
3. Remove Media Share Browser source.
4. Wait 5 minutes.
5. Turn on Cloudbot.
6. Enable Media Share Widget.
7. Add Media Share Browser source back.
