The 'data' can't be shared between Streamlabs Console and Streamlabs Desktop, sorry. They're in different formats and the one can't read the other. And I can already read the next question, there is no way to export from one and import into the other. Streamlabs Console itself is kept somewhat minimal to keep the subscription and development costs down. In Streamlabs Console, you can only select the themes that are presented.

You only have to add application audio sources for programs, not for widgets or browser sources in Streamlabs

It might seem like a lot of work, but its really not, and its way easier than the only other option which is to use a virtual audio program, or a virtual mixer like Voicemeeter.

Hi all - I'm trying to multistream for the first time, and am having a weird issue when adding my YT account. I go to settings > stream > click connect YouTube > click the second connect button that shows after that, go through the google prompts in my browser to pick the correct YT account, (pick account, continue, allow) but every time after I click "allow" I am redirected to http://127.0.0.1:62180/?success=false&reason=unknown and nothing further happens, not in the browser or Streamlabs. Haven't been able to find any similar cases online that anyone has had - any ideas??

Check the tags you set for Twitch. Often user added tags fail moderation at Twitch.

Like the other day someone added the tag 'Noob', slang for newbie, and Twitch wouldn't allow that tag. 🤷‍♂️

With YouTube, make sure you are live with a Public stream. The Chatbox Widget won't work with a Private or Unlisted stream. It also doesn't work if you're not live as YouTube chat isn't always available like Twitch chat.

Hey guys, my youtube chatbox doesn't work. I can see chats just fine but I can't chat myself using Streamlabs; I have to open the chat itself in a browser to use/moderate it. Instead of a chat input area, it just says "Sign in to chat," and doing that brings me to the browser chat I just said (not the stream either, just a chatbox online). Any ideas on this?

I am trying to get soundalerts to work in Streamlabs Mobile. I stream a lot with my smartphone and use Streamlabs Mobile to stream to Twitch.

I have copied the URL link that I found under settings in soundalerts (home page), and inserted it as a layer in my layout in streamlabs mobile app.

The problem is that when someone in the stream triggers a sound alert, when I am live at twitch, the sound is only heard in my phone, but not in the stream. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?

In Streamlabs Desktop, please go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP. If the drop down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default. If the drop down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

I have integrated chatbot with command by using {readapi.url}.
But is it possible to push a message to streamlabs cloudbot, which it will send for you?
I made my own queuing system, but I like the "Next up: username" message, which I want to make aswell.
Or is the only option to Make a timer that every minute will fetch a {readapi.url} for messages?
The last one would probably generate a max 60 sec delay, unless you can do shorter then 1 minute.

Looking at the Streamlabs Dev site, there’s not a call that allows you to put a message into chat. And FYI, the syntax you have in your post is for Cloudbot. Chatbot is a separate Streamlabs product that is available for Windows only and only works with Twitch or YouTube.

I would be limited to the minute timer, but I might be able to work with that

I just recently downloaded streamlabs and tried to install a virtual camera. It will go to the screen for admin approval and a second time after you approve the first one. My Streamlabs obs and regular obs has been having render lag issues. Usually that mean I’m using too much gpu but the thing is I’m only running Streamlabs obs. Every time I run either of the apps my gpu utilization shoots up to 100 just using the app. But when I shut my pc off and turn it on the next day it works the first time I use the app. But if I close the app and run it again it shoots up to 100% utilization for no reason. I don’t know what to do and I really need help

No matter what I do I get this error when I try to connect my youtube account... the only thing I can think of is I originally used youtube to sign into streamlabs but then later on created a streamlabs account. The account is not linked to any other streamlabs account and have even followed streamlabs instructions on how to remove the youtube account(https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account#:~:text=Log into your YouTube account,says Streamlabs and click "Remove") with no success.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Hey ! I have a problem, that i tried to fix all day yesterday. When i try to go live on my laptop (for the first time) i get an error message. I can go live on my phone and PS5 perfectly fine.
I tried all kinds of things to fix it both in streamlabs and obs its the same error. Support tried to help and said there is something (on my laptop?) blocking the connection to the server.

one thing i also noticed. In the Setting -> Advanced -> Network, Bind to IP, i can only select an IP Adress that is not mine..

Proximity chat that is an option of the game audio, if you are capturing the game audio it should come the same channel so you need to check your game settings, there is nothing in the streaming app to capture just proximity chat as it is embedded with the game it self and not a different channel. About party chat on the native xbox streaming app I dont think you can capture it, you will need a capture card. Not sure tho.

Stream delay is normal. It takes time for your computer is encoded the packets, transmit the across the Internet to the ingest. The ingest then has to process those packets and make them available to the viewers. If you’ve enabled Stream Delay in your Streamlabs Settings, that adds delay so I’d suggest disabling that option. If you have specific issue, can you elaborate?

Hey guys, I am trying to fix my Widget Themes. I can recieve real alerts from stream, but test alerts and repopping alerts from my Recent Events do not work.

Have you tried to reach out Elgato so they can advise you to set a proper audio delay? I havent found a reference to issues with the new HD60X tbh, I have one and used it with no issues at all and no need to set a delay, both on ps5 and xbox series x. I would advise you to contact Elgato support, they are quite quick to get back at you.

Apparently Streamlabs Dashboard hates the Brave browser right now and won't load. I was able to load the site in FireFox. It also apparently turned off Cloudbot for both Twitch and YouTube. So that's cool. I loaded the site in Firefox and turned them back on and now everything works. Adding this here in case anyone has the same issue!

I would try this:

1. Perform a clean install of your GPU drivers (see the tagged post below 👇) and 2) Create a new scene collection and leave it blank and see what your CPU usage is. It could be there is a corrupted scene or source. If, in the new scene collection, CPU usage is better, recreate your scenes and sources from scratch, don’t copy/paste as that might carry over any corruption.

You are getting a Blue Screen of Death? I’d disable over clocking if you’re doing that and make sure that your memory DIMMs are good. There some memory tests you can run but they take a while to complete. I had this issue a few years back and finally found the memory DIMMs I bought were too fast for my motherboard. Also check your Event Viewer and see if there’s any information there.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

• You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

If TikTok limits you to 10000, then you’ll have to reduce to that. Honestly I’d drop your Output Resolution to 720p and bitrate to 10000.

It does not. You have to find the sweet spot with your hardware and upload speed that works well for the platforms you use. Which is why I suggested 720p with a 10k bitrate. If you’ve got Twitch in the mix, you are further limited as their max is either 6000 if you’re not a partner or 8000 if you’re a partner.

hi im not sure if there is any resolution or if someone is having the exact same problem. however i cannot merge my tiktok account with streamlabs, i log in and it states successful but it will not merge, i have tried multiple browsers however the merge process just automatically takes me back to the merge page on streamlabs and still shows tiktok as unlinked. im a little disappointed as i did purchase ultra to be able to multistream and so far i have had nothing but problems. appreciate any advice.

720p gives you more room in the bitrate plus 720p is generally better for people watching on mobile devices that have smaller bandwidth.

Do you log in directly with your TikTok OR do you log in with your Twitch and then merge your TikTok. They’re different actions. The former gives you a second Streamlabs account without any of the data from the other account. The second option lets you log in with TikTok, all the while having the cloud data and widget settings you already have setup.

No. And that’s due to restrictions in iOS. With screen share on iOS, the only thing you can share is the screen. iOS prevents anything from being overlayed.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video and make sure the Output Resolution is correct. Likely the values are swapped; for example if it shows 1080x1920, make it 1920x1080.

In Streamlabs Desktop, log out, wait a minute, and then log back in. If you still have issues going live, In Streamlabs Desktop, please go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP. If the drop down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default. If the drop down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. After that, click Done to save the settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop and see if you can go live.

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

That's what I was afraid of. A colleague had been using Prism Live and ran into huge audio issues. Streamlabs handled the audio brilliantly but we lost a lot of functionality in the process (embedded video, strong chat customization, and seeing the connection status in real time on screen (at one point the stream buffered and froze and there was no indication on the Streamlabs screen - it looked like all was going smoothly).

Hello everyone, recently after the latest updates the processor performance consumption (CPU Usage) has increased by about 2-3 times. Reinstalling the program, clean installing the video card driver and creating new clean installation scenes (Empty scenes) did not help me.
I had to install the old version of the program 1.15 and run it with the Internet turned off. Consumption decreased (CPU Usage) from 15-30% to 5-10%. Tell me, is it possible to completely disable the program update so as not to disconnect the Internet every time you start the program?

You probably have exclusive control enabled.

Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". Then restart your computer and check it out again

I'm not sure if there's anything that you could do to bring the audio in sync, but you could delay your mic audio/video feed to match the audio that is already delayed

Having issues with Audio and/or Video Delays on your streams?

If the Audio is coming in before the Video, you would want to add a Audio Sync Offset.

• Advanced Audio Settings (Gear Icon to the Top Right of the Mixer in the Editor Window)

If the Video is coming in before the Audio, you would want to add a Render Delay Filter.

• Right Click on the Source in your Sources List > Click Filters > Add a Render Delay Filter

• Note, you may need to possibly add delays to more that just one device, as delaying one could cause issues with another.

Fixing delays can be a time consuming process, and delays would only be seen in your recordings and/or while streaming.```

Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of info missing. Streamlabs never sent me: nameserver info, IP info, host server info, etc. Anyone know where I can find this?

for that you should be able to click on the icon at the bottom right of streamlabs.com after you log in with your account and go through the prompts there. then it should connect you to an agent since you're an ultra person

Alright so I tried everything I could think of on my own before coming to the tech support d/c. I'm at my wit's end. I've just recently started working on Dual Output and put in a collective 8-10 hours on setting up my scenes the way I want them etc. Everything runs smoothly on the PC, no crashing, no noticeable issues. I close out of the app to do other things; when I go back to open it, suddenly ALL THE WORK that I had done is gone. No trace that I ever even made an edit. What is going on?

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1

Hey so I don't know why because it's not giving me any error code or any way to look it up. But when I'm streaming streamlabs obs will work and disconnect from the stream, on average every 50 minutes. And I don't know why, and I have reinstalled windows twice but it keeps doing it. and i tried turning down the bitrate, and there's no network problems happening that are visible. I'm able to do everything on the internet without any problems. So I don't know what is wrong and I have lan with xfinity wifi, so I can get around 791.9 mps download and 23.2 upload right now. it doesn't seem like the stream is crashing because when it does this a blue screen with a camera crossed out is appearing. which mean twich knows that I'm still trying to stream and it's not just ending. if someone could help me fix it it would be really cool.

Hey guys, I play and want to stream CS2 in stretched mode but I am unable to transform the window to stretch to screen in streamlabs. Everytime i got to transform it, the game alt tabs and the window goes back to 1920x1080 and it doesnt have an effect on the game

btw when it disconnects it automatically reconnects, but that's not good because when I am engaging with viewers they just stop chatting, and also my viewer count dropps. Also my vods are messed up because of it.

I have it connected to a ethernet splitter and that is also connected to a server pc, but that's not causing the issue because I've had servers running on my network for a year or two, but the issue came up recently

Hello 👋 I have a huge problem with my chat while multi streaming with SLOBS. Even 2 problems. 1) Chat keeps freezing randomly and stops showing new messages until you refresh it. 2) Today it stopped showing only YT messages - I realized that only when I’ve restarted my stream. All those messages dropped in front of me at once.
I’m on Ultra trial period now. I would have contacted customer support on the website, but I already have 2 ignored tickets there (for other issues). It’s unbearable.

There’s a #known-issues with YouTube chat that affects some users. The problem is at YouTube”s end and is taking forever to get fixed. Feel free to repost over in #vip-support if you want the staff to assist you.

But what about freezing? Few times per stream chat stops loading all messages (not only YouTube).
And btw, I streamed with Restream before - never had any issues with YT messages.

The issue with YouTube is with the Streamlabs API, it’s not affected with other services like Restream. Are you logged in with your Twitch? If so, I’d suggest logging out in Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, and then log back in. That should refresh your connection to Twitch Chat. If you still have issues, please post over in #vip-support so the staff can work with you to troubleshoot. Sometimes refresh the connection between Streamlabs and the platform helps. If you’d like to try that with the “problem” platforms, I’ll trigger the bot to give you the guide.

Okay I would then logout. Log in with your YouTube, wait a minute or two and then log out. Then log in with your Twitch. That will at least refresh your OAuth tokens.

hello there - after the recent update, all of my media file sources (short vids) that I play during streams are double-starting when I open them. Meaning it plays for a second or two, then starts over again. I don't know what settings could be impacting this?

I store most of the scenes on an external hard drive, but when I move to my PC storage drive -- the problem still exists.
