I’m super busy today so I don’t have a lot of time. So you stream on YouTube is completely silent? Make sure that your audio sources in the Mixer are not muted. Check that at Settings > Audio that the exact device is selected for Desktop Audio and Microphone. If the selected devices are just long strings of characters, then select the appropriate devices; that happens during window’s cumulative updates.

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

Hi @everyone I tried the dual stream feature tonight but had issues with the vertical screen, I was using the screen capture on my horizontal screen which filled the entire screen, but on the vertical it almost compressed my full screen into the verticals resolution making it impossible to see . Is there a way to just set a certain part of the horizontal screen image in the vertical ?

Even if you do that, it will still auto update. I would suggest creating a new Scene Collection and then see what the CPU usage is. It sounds like you might have a corrupted scene or source. If the usage in the new Scene Collection is back to “normal”, then manually create your scenes and sources from scratch; don’t copy/paste them as that might copy over the corruption.

Yes, I'm aware. But the permissions on Twitch are done by Twitch and not Streamlabs. What if I haven't revoked my permission for Streamlabs and the two accounts are still linked on Twitch's end while Streamlabs deletes everything. Would that somehow keep the account active from Streamlabs or anything like that?

Once your account is deleted, you can remove the Streamlabs connection on Twitch if you like. If you use Streamlabs again, that connection will be added by during the onboarding.

Streamlabs can’t delete that connection as it’s not part of your Streamlabs data. That’s part of your Twitch data.

Correct, that connection won’t matter since technically it’s a connection from Twitch to Streamlabs so technically it’s data on Twitch and not on Streamlabs. We will still be able to delete your account.

If your logged in Streamlabs Desktop with your TikTok, I would suggest that you log out, and log in with your Twitch. Probably your OAuth token for Twitch is expired. If you get a red error box, click Show details for more information.

And of course, make sure that your bitrate isn’t set over 6000 which is the limit for Twitch.

Tonight was getting double raid alerts, not sure why, Twitch Dashboard has 1 instance of raid but Streamlabs Desktop has double raids listed and therefore 2 raid alerts, all other alerts are fine 🙂 Thanks in advance

Im logged in through my twitch. I get no redbox. And yes my bitrate is set to 6000. Like I said when I uncheck the dual output box then I have no problems going live just on twitch. But when it is selected it only goes live on tiktok, then when I end stream, streamlabs desktops crashes.

Any data with us is deleted, no matter it was created by logging in directly with a platform, meaning Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Trovo, X, or TikTok.

If only not working specifically for subs and follows, make sure those alerts are enabled and that they are checked in the Filter Events.

I did Streamlabs in admin mode. No crashes today. But I will have to say this. I did have a restart on my stream but that had to do with bitrate. And the other thing is I didn't crash everyday before I started using it in admin mode. I'm gonna keep doing it this way and see what happens.

Well, I kind of found a solution if your TikTok cannot link to your main account.
The issue I was having is that anytime I tried to link my TikTok account to my main Streamlabs/Twitch account, I would get an "account merge error." I spent about 2 hours on it, but here's what you can do if you have issues linking TikTok to your account.

1st - Export all overlays. Make sure that any overlays or scenes you have are exported so that you can import them back to use.

2nd - Unlink all accounts from your current account.

3rd - Log in with TikTok as your main account. Once you've done this, you should be able to relink all accounts.

Apparently, there is some bug that wasn't letting me link my TikTok account to my main Twitch/Streamlabs account even though I unlinked it from TikTok and cleared the cache from SLOBS.

I get this is not exactly your issue, but try these steps…

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.

Where are you connecting your Twitch? If you go here on the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms, do you see your Twitch there? If so, what exactly are you trying to do?

Make sure your Output Resolution is correct in Streamlabs Desktop. Go to Settings > Video. The values there maybe swapped. For example if it shows 1080x1920, switch it to 1920x1080.

I see an option to merge Twitch, but when I attempt to merge it, it says my Twitch is linked to another account which is impossible. I'm trying to stream gameplay to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook, but it's only allowing me to merge YouTube and Facebook. This problem just started yesterday for some reason.

I would suggest creating a new Scene Collection and then see what the CPU usage is. It sounds like you might have a corrupted scene or source. If the usage in the new Scene Collection is back to “normal”, then manually create your scenes and sources from scratch; don’t copy/paste them as that might copy over the corruption.

Wow, that is a really old version that’s not compatible with the new Twitch API. Please go to https://streamlabs.com/ and download a fresh installer. Run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather just quit the installer, reboot your PC, and then try again once the PC is back up.

The weird thing is this is a relatively new PC that already has clean and up-to-date video drivers. The only thing that has changed on the system since it started happening, is the Streamlabs update.

Twitch VOD track should be track 2. And for any audio you do not want in your VOD, uncheck track 2 for that audio source.

And all that assumes you’ve split your audio.

So for me when I individually go live on each platform it works. But as soon as dual stream mode is enabled (Verticle and Horizontal). Only tiktok goes live.

I’d make sure that your bitrate isn’t over 6000 which is the limit for Twitch. If that’s okay, and you’re logged in with your TokTok, I would log out and log in with your Twitch to refresh the OAuth token. Then try again. If you get an error message in a big red box, click Show details and these details will tell what the issue is. Likely it’s a tag that is failing moderation on Twitch.

Hi! The "Dual Output" feature can be enabled in your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Video. Once Dual Output is enabled in your Video Settings, you should see a different-looking window when you click "Go Live" that allows you to go live to both without a subscription. 😄

Hello, I am having some issues with StreamLabels. To start, the program is only filling out the output directory with clock and counters. Nothing related to session, top, etc related files. On top of that, when I hit restart session it flat out does nothing. Running commands on cloudbot shows extremely outdated information

yo i checked known issues and couldnt find anything so ill ask here. last streamlabs update broke my screen/game captures, previously when the captured program wasnt in use it would auto hide which was very usefull as i run stream avatars + tobii eye tracking but i dont always have them open due to performance issues. now when i want to stream ill have to have them running all the time or manually hide/show the sources so that my entire stream isnt looking for game to capture screen. anyway i can fix this or at least roll back to when this wasnt an issue?

I immediately got an email back (with no support number) saying that they received the request and would get back to me as soon as possible.

There’s a few troubleshooting steps we can try for this. First off let’s change your default web browser:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop
2. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
3. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
4. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
5. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
6. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

Okay the best if possible, to use a full screen window mode in Minecraft and then in Game Capture, switch the mode to capture a specific window.

I'm having an issue with a stinger transition where it turns to black immediately, then transitions to the new scene after a delay. When I use older streamlabs versions, the transitions keeps the current scene in place, then after a delay switches to the next scene while the stinger is going through. Hello. We've been having an issue with our chatbot every time we go live since yesterday. Commands don't work. Timed messages don't get sent. The bot is added as a moderator. Nothings been changed. That’s normal behavior for Cloudbot. I found through my streams that with YouTube, Cloudbot works best if you toggle off after you’ve been live for at least a minute and leave it toggled off for a minute or two.

Yes, so it looks like you do not have Dual Output enabled. In order to go live to two platforms without the need of an Ultra subscription, you will need to enable that feature. To do so, you can go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Video and check the option for "Dual Output" in the top-right corner.

Then when you click "Go Live", you window should look a bit different and should give you the option to go live to both.

Correct - the only way to go live to two platforms without the need of an Ultra subscription would be to use the Dual Output feature. The Dual Output feature will force you to go live to one platform horizontally, then the other vertically. If you wanted to use Streamlabs Desktop to go live to more than one platform horizontally, you would have to have an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription.

You don't need Ultra for Tiktok, no, but to go live to Tiktok and another platform both horizontally, then you would have to use a subscription as this would be multi-streaming. The only way around this would be the Dual Output feature.

I'm unsure how that would have been possible as any multi-streaming outside of Dual Output should require a subscription. This isn't intended behavior, however, and our team would not be able to assist in sitting up two horizontal streams without the use of a subscription (or using Tiktok Studio + Streamlabs Desktop at the same time).

The new agreement with Tiktok just allows users to apply for live permissions > go live with their login rather than a stream key. This didn't change any multi-streaming features or capabilities. I wish I was able to assist further, but it is currently not intended for users to be able to stream to two platforms, both horizontally, without the use of a Streamlabs Ultra subscription which includes multi-streaming. My apologies as I don't see how this would have been possible to set up before unless there was a bug/glitch, but this wouldn't be intended for our program at this time.

The Twitch VOD track just deals with audio. It should cause any output resolution changes like that. If you enable streaming service recommendations checked in Streamlabs Desktop at Settings > Output, uncheck that. If you still have issues with that, ask over in #vip-support

Hello everyone--a Streamlabs update from a couple weeks ago messed up my stinger transition (I've been using it for 3 years, this is not a Transition Point issue). Best way to describe the issue is: stinger transition fully transitions into next scene (you can see the next scene briefly) followed by a completely black screen which lasts a solid second or two, and then the next scene pops back in. Hello I need help. I never encountered this problem before, I've been using stream labs for 2 years. I streamed 3-8 hours with no issues.

Windows are updated , graphic cards, etc. WiFi is great and no lag.

.Every time I start my stream it will stop at 6 minutes or sometimes 21 minutes. This problem occured last month. I uninstalled my streamlabs and delete and reinstalled it from web again. Still doesn't work. I want to stream my game and it suddenly disconnect in few minutes. I already logged out my twitch and logged in again but still got issue when streaming.

So I think I've found a potential bug with SLOBS.
Anytime you want to dual-Output stream to tiktok and twitch.
There will be times where twitch will not be able to go live.
However twitch will go live only by itself.

For both to work. At the time of this text. You can only run the

• Base (Canvas) Resolution 720p
  And
  -Output (Scaled) Resolution
  720p

Whensoever switching to 1080p on any of these settings. SLOBS will crash and twitch will not go live but tiktok will.

Hi, I asked for assistance here a while back regarding my notifications not picking up on my OBS and streams. I was suggested to disconnect my StreamLabs from my Twitch, which I did and reconnected it, but I'm experiencing the same problems again.

I did the "Test Follow", which gave a notification sound but when I did a real test, it didn't work. I disconnected my StreamLabs and OBS a few days ago, but I'm still getting the same problem.

This has been happening since January (I didn't have the time to fix it) and I'm yet to find any results.

Last time I asked for help, I was suggested to disconnect my StreamLabs. Again, which I did, but as with my current situation, it has not been solved yet, so I don't know if this is a glitch or not.

Hello, so i'm streaming with streamlabs console and while streaming, it says that i have less than 3000 kbits per second. But i have an ethernet cable plug to the computer with a 700 mbits download speed. I tried using the ethernet cable on my xbox but no differences. I also tried to stream with 1080p 6000 / 4000 kbits but the quality is still meh.

I would like to know if it's just streamlabs console that has a lower quality by default or if i'm doing something wrong. ( Before i was streaming directly via the xbox to twitch and the quality was perfect ).

Hello Streamlabs peeps 🙂 Quick question, I use Streamlabs for all of my alerts but sadly as Streamlabs does not have alerts for Twitch channel point redemptions or Hype Trains I have to sue the Twitch alerts for these. Sunday night they did not work, Monday Night they started working again, but last night and today they are not working again ? no, I closed it thinking the issue had been resolved (after 3 Windows re-installs) but as soon as 1.16.3 was released and the fact that the installer was now 1.16.3
the issues have resumed to what they were prior.

So to combat this, I have been relaying on my 1.15.1 Installer as it seems that is the only stable version my computer outright accepts as my computer rejects newer versions (1.16+) for whatever reason.

I'm hardwired, with a new modem and router. Speed tests come back with flying colors. All of the twitch servers in California (where I am) have great results on tests. But I have been having this issue almost every stream.

I've had this issue. I had to unlink all accounts and make tiktok my primary login so it has to merge as the primary account. I then relinked all accounts back

Just make sure you export any scenes/overlays if you have to ensure it doesn't disappear

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

ok, so I am brand new at streaming but I am trying to figure out how tipping works. I have connected my paypal account to streamlabs and I have setup chatbot for my stream so I can use that to run giveaways. I also configured the currency section for points to users for attending a live stream. Also, I am planning on using YouTube for my streams for now. There is a section in the currency section of the chatbot that lets you give extra points if someone in a sponsor. Is this the same thing as a member? Like, if the user is a member on my channel, will it give them more points during the stream if I add a value in the sponsor field? Also, when they get points for donating, how does this look on their end? Is there a donate button they will see in the stream?

If you are going above 6K then it will say unstable stream on twitch. Just keep the bitrate less than 6K (Audio Bitrate included) and it will be good.. Fluctuating bitrate doesn't matter as long as you dont have dropped frames

Hello I need help. I never encountered this problem before, I've been using stream labs for 2 years. I streamed 3-8 hours with no issues.

Windows are updated , graphic cards, etc. WiFi is great and no lag.

.Every time I start my stream it will stop at 6 minutes or sometimes 21 minutes. This problem occured last month. I uninstalled my streamlabs and delete and reinstalled it from web again. Still doesn't work. I want to stream my game and it suddenly disconnect in few minutes. I already logged out my twitch and logged in again but still got issue when streaming.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Log in with that Twitch account. If, in that Streamlabs account, that Twitch is not the Primary, unmerge it from there, log out, and then log into the account where you want it merged. So now log out and log in with the Twitter account you’re trying to merge. Then click unmerge for Twitter. Does it let you unmerge it? If so, log out then log back in with your Twitch account and now you should be able to merge your Twitter.

Make sure Streamlabs isn’t banned on your channel. Then reset Cloudbot on your channel and see if that helps.

👉 IMPORTANT: Do not skip or shorten the waits.

1. Unmod streamlabs
2. Toggle Cloudbot off
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
5. Mod streamlabs
6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

Yes, they’re alerts for those two actions. By default, all alerts for each platform are enabled and given a default image and sound.

YouTube subscribe alerts can be affected by this though:

When someone makes an account on YouTube, the subscribed channels are private by default. When the person subscribing to you is set to private, Streamlabs cannot see the subscription.

And sometimes, for no reason known, Youtube will delay subscriber alerts.

The setting on your channel doesn’t matter. The viewer, the person who is clicking the subscribe button, would have to make their subscriptions public BEFORE clicking the subscribe button.

If so, when you go live. There's a option that says "Find my tiktok streamkey". It'll redirect you to a link.
"Go live" over there and the url and Stream key will generate. It's new everytime.

I stream on both Twitch and TikTok at the same time using the new streamlabs feature, but the quality on TikTok is always very blurry.
When I stream on Twitch+YouTube = they both have the same good quality.
When I stream on Twitch+TikTok = Twitch is good quality, TikTok very blurry.
Does anyone know why and how to fix?

Hello. Question regarding the virtual cam issue in the #known-issues channel. It is currently marked yellow meaning "Third party Investigation, Known fix isn't rolled out yet, Workaround" but I do not see the work around for this issue. Where in this server is it posted?

not an official staff member but what do you mean by "can't connect". What are your steps and where does the problem occur?

That's a known issue with the Android version of Streamlabs Mobile. I think there is a fix rolling out for that, but don'tr quote me. Check the Play Store and see if you have an update.

What you can do in the meantime: This is specifically not working for Discord x32 bit, which is the default installer for Discord. Instead, you can download the Public Test Build Windows 64-bit from their website and it will work again. This will be a different install than your main Discord install so you will be able to always revert. To do this, you would do the following:

1. Go to https://discord.com/download
2. Scroll down to "Feeling experimental"
3. Click the dropdown for the "Download Public Test Build"
4. Choose "Windows 64-bit"

oof. I don't know about that one. Sorry. Wish I was more experienced to help you out. The only thing I can think of is looking up how to disconnect an account (even though you didn't connect one) just to try and reset the Desktop application, then try to connect your account again.
