Alright, So the new 1.16.3 Installer did not improve my situation.
Thankfully I still have my 1.15.1 Installer which still seems to work.
I don't know what's wrong with my computer, it's just outright rejecting the 1.16+ versions.
I already closed the ticket, and the person who said they would email me back in this chat has yet to do so.
Throughout the ticket, I sent Google Drive Links to 2 DMP files. 1 with version 1.16 (which I believe to be bugged) and 1 with version 1.15 (which I believe to be stable.)

I just don't know what to do past this point. There was no error codes no nothing.
I don't want to have to reopen the ticket (assuming that's possible) because I feel like it would just go in circles unless something was gathered from the files I already submitted initially.
I just don't want to waste people's time, and I'm legit bothered by the fact that I might be possibly doing that.

I have already reinstalled Windows 3 times in a 4day time frame, and I can't keep doing that.
Especially if my computer will outright reject 1.16+.
So unless I'm advised otherwise, and that advice has potential/definitive results, I genuinely fear I just may be stuck with my 1.15.1 Installer/version.

that's why, you have to stream only to Twitch. Other platforms don't support the VOD track so it gets disabled when streaming anywhere else.

Why are hotkeys no longer working unless Im directly on the app itself? If I have another tab selected, hotkeys no longer affect slobs. That is a huge bug that needs to be fixed, otherwise I cant change scenes without tabbing out and clicking on slobs itself, every single time. That defeats the purpose of hotkeys.

Well, I applied a few weeks ago and got access because I joined a Tiktok agency, I got the streamkey and access to Tiktok Desktop streaming over streamlabs and I was able to stream from my Desktop for a good week or so until this issue happened yesterday, and I can't start a Tiktok stream from my desktop if I don't have anywhere to put the streamkey and URL

And I've tried a bunch of things but the section where you put the Key and URL, still won't show up so I can't stream my desktop to Tiktok atm :/

I did not see any existing issue on this, but my alert box and widget themes are gone and reset to default. My scenes are fine though. I have not done a reset of any kind, just updated to the latest 1.16.3 .

Multistreaming is different from Dual Output. With multistreaming, you send one stream to Streamlabs and then we send it to the platforms you toggled on when you go live.

So i do have a question about multistream, we did it for the first time last night. Our Youtube Stream was 1080p but the Twitch one was only 720p, when we stream only to twitch its 1080p. any idea what the reason for this is?

If you’re logged in the web site with you Twitch, for example, go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and merge your TikTok. Then on Streamlabs Desktop, log out and log in with the TikTok you just merged. That way all your scenes and source are still there.

If you already have them merged, there’s nothing else you need to do. To stream on a different platform, just log out in Streamlabs Desktop and then log in with another platform you have merged.

Hey, I'm having a really freak situation with SLOBS at the moment. It's been happening before but it's not as weirdly notable as it is now.

Every time i get a notification, the sound of that noficiation plays twice

But at a very inconsistent delay. Sometimes they overlap, sometimes they're like 10s apart

What's weirder is that this second sound plays even when the Alertbox either is disabled, or isn't even on the scene at all!

I've spent an hour looking rn where this second alert source is coming from but I just can't find anything, and googling it just defaults me to any config issuues on the source that literally isn't on my scene.

15 or 16 are very good/lossless. Lower values will give better quality but the file sizes get really big. I always use CQP 15 and have really good recordings.

It should match the length of the audio. If the duration is longer, the sound will play multiple times to fill that duration. If the duration is shorter, the sound may be cut off.

Let’s clear the OBS browser cache. Here are those browser cache clear steps:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Start up Streamlabs Desktop again

This just acts the same as if you were to clear your browser cache- no settings will be lost. Then see if the alert sound is duplicated.

2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

The Steamlabs Desktop window has to be at least 1100 pixels wide in order for the embedded chat dock to display. So make the window as wide as you can on your vertical monitor.

I have the emote wall set up, and when I launch the URL from streamlabs dashboard to my local browser everything works just fine. But OBS doesn't display anything at all using the same URL as a browser source. It's almost as if OBS isn't 'listening' to the URL in the sources at all. Alerts for follows, etc. work just fine.
Is there a connection between OBS and streamlabs? Something under the OBS websockets maybe? I'm totally confused.
Why would a URL work just fine under Firefox but be ignored by OBS?

You GPU probably has high usage. Lower the graphics quality in the game, cap the in game FPS to 60 or 120, set the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to 60 or 120. Set you monitor's refresh rate to 60 or 120.

Ok so I am using streamlabs console and am having an issue with my external camera. I am using a Xbox series s and running the the streamlabs console app on my laptop. When I initially booted up the app my external webcam worked then later on its suddenly not working, not even my built in camera. That's because you're logged in with TikTok. Log in with a different platform you have merged in your account, say Twitch for example, then unmerge your TikTok.

Then...

Let’s clear the OBS browser cache. Here are those browser cache clear steps:

1. Hit windows key + R
2. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
3. Delete the cache folder
4. Start up Streamlabs Desktop again and log in with the TikTok account you merged above.

This just acts the same as if you were to clear your browser cache- no settings will be lost. Then see if the alert sound is duplicated.

Having issues with your audio? Try the following solutions!

1. Make sure the audio source is not muted in the mixer on Streamlabs Desktop.

2. Some audio management software, like Nahimic 2, Sonic studio sound or motherboard audio software like Realtek HD Audio Manager or Sound Blaster Recon are known to cause issues. Try closing that kind of software, and also check Windows taskmanager if any processes with a similar name are running to be closed. If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

3. Select manually the desktop audio device (audio settings), you use as default device in Windows Sound, not setting it to default. Alternatively you can set it to disabled and add in the scene you want desktop audio an Audio Output Capture and select the device that is set as default device in Windows Sound.

4. Install Windows C++ Redistributable [Link][1]

5. As a last resort, you can temporarily use an alternative program to capture audio like VoiceMeeter Banana. This program allows you to set it as the default device, and then use a virtual audio cable into Streamlabs Desktop to capture the desktop audio. Now go to the Sound Settings in Windows, click Sound Control Panel, right click on the audio device, click Properties, click the Enhancements tab, and make sure nothing is checked there.

The Streamlabs Desktop window has to be at least 1100 pixels wide for the embedded chat to be shown. That may be difficult on a vertical monitor.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

So in streamlabs i have it open and im trying to stream, however i hear no sound whatsoever from the game nor my music from yt I need major help 😦
