So for my alartbox I wanna make it a default
I wanna remove that green picture jn the background and keep it as depending on how much bits they donate
It sounds like you want to remove the image on the alert
But if you want different amounts you need to add variations which is at the bottom of each alert in your alertbox settings
Cause I wanna remove just the green part in the background and depending on the bits that what shows up like if they donate 1 bit instead of it being green it like this and changes color everytime
Oh for bits they have a bunch of variations, if you remove them then it will use your default.

The default alert won't appear if you have those variations. If you only want the default then you delete the variation ones. If you want the variations, then you don't need to do anything, you can just modify the variations

but then it would just be the green no?
Sorry I thought you only wanted one alert. If you want alerts that change based on the amount, then you can just ignore the default as your variation will play instead of the default.
Np I want it so when someone donate if they donate like 1 bit it shows up as gray if they donate 100 bit it shows up as the purple one

So this may seem simple but it’s driving me crazy. My wife is new to streaming and is attempting to edit things via Streamlabs. However, when she opens the Desktop app she attempts to login and when she clicks the link it does not redirect her to login. I have rebooted the pc, reinstalled streamlabs, disabled popups and I’m stumped
Last two days, my stream has crashed after about 30 minutes (SLOBS to Twitch). It's never done it before, and it seems to happen about every time about 30 minutes into stream. In addition, Streamlabs doesn't appear to recognize any stream interuption, meanwhile Twitch completely shuts down. Any ideas?

Yup! I notice my bitrate instantly goes down to Zero on SLOBS and then Twitch disconnects (after attempting reconnection for 90 seconds)
Same thing here. I thought it was due to multistreaming, but it also happened when streaming to one platform. A while ago I also had issues but at least the bitrate/ frames were dropping as a warning, now it just stops. But my connection on both game/ stream PC are completely fine. Hope it has a simple solution (cables already got renewed a few weeks ago to exclude those 😅 )

Okay, that upload speed is going to be your issue. It’s recommended to have at least a 5Mbs upload. Screen shot Settings > Video in Streamlabs Desktop please then screen shot Settings > Output.

I'm having an issue where bits do not show up at all as notifications (unless using the testing button) and they also dont appear in recent events. I have made sure variations are off, bits are on, and that all should work, and it does, however streamlabs isnt seeing the bits posted in my chat.
Okay, on Settings -> Output, please make the following changes:
- Uncheck the Enforce streaming service encoder settings
- Change your encoder to NVIDIA NVENC .264.
- Set your bitrate to 6000.
- Set Keyframe to 2
- Set Max B-frames to 2.
Then try and go live again and let me knoow how it goes.

Trouble with Streamlabs OBS: Incorrect Aspect Ratio & Persistent Login Requests
I'm having issues with Streamlabs OBS Desktop while livestreaming to Twitch. Tonight, when I tried to open the software on my PC, it seemed like I was logged out. After logging back in, I noticed that the editor display area now has a 9:16 aspect ratio, and all my overlays, gameplay screen, and webcam placement are misaligned.
Additionally, whenever I close and reopen the Streamlabs software, I'm prompted to log in again. Can anyone assist me with resolving these issues?

I've seen a few reports from folks about only Bits alerts not working and haven't been able to get it resolved. There's been a few things heard that it may be an issue with Twitch but that's not confirmed. Please submit a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.
Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1
Then, reopen Streamlabs Desktop. This should resolve it but if it doesn't please submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and our team would be able to assist you further.

Sometimes one the Streamlabs Desktop processes doesn't properly exit and it keeps some files open. This causes issues later when you go to launch it again.
ARM is the M1 version. Please download the Intel version of Streamlabs Desktop for MacOS.

First, please delete your game capture and any other window, display, etc capture sources and close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/918160373264306206/918162974265466911/unknown.png?width=960&height=538). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.
Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

First copy this text: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook
Then press Windows-R
In the Run box that pops up, press Control-V to paste that test you copied above.
Then press Ok.
Then screen shot what you get.
Perfect. Now click ProgramData in the address bar.

Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder.
So before you delete that, you need to go into Streamlabs Desktop, and delete all the capture sources, Game Capture, Window Capture, Display Capture, etc. Then quit Streamlabs Desktop then delete that folder. Then restart your PC again.

You don't have the Source Selector panel. Go into the Layout Editor.
And drag the Scene Selector into your layout and then click Save Changes.

Hey, messaging again about the issue I experienced the last two days. Randomly at a certain point during streaming, my bitrate on SLOBS goes from a smooth number (for me typically ~5000) down to zero almost instantly. Twitch instantly reads it as a shutdown dead signal, attempts the 90 second reconnect, and then fails and gives up. During this time, SLOBS continues to attempt to send stream to Twitch, except it says very clearly it’s streaming at 0 kbps bitrate. Any idea why this happens? I thought it was around 30 minutes each time but last night it lasted for almost 2 hours before occurring, but before that longer timeframe, it crashed the bitrate anywhere between 5-45 minutes in.
Additional notes: CPU usage stayed low, Camera quality stayed good, chat never saw more than a few seconds of delay before infinite buffer.
Also to add, this only started occurring within the last 3 days, it worked perfectly prior.

Run it on Medium or Long duration for all the ingests in your region. Screen shot the results. Don't use Short duration as it will give bad results.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

The latest streamlabs patch broke ndi and no audio is comming through.
The audio source from my other pc is in the mixer but no audio appers at all.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
- This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
- Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.
Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

The divices/filters are correct on both pc's but no audio, no audio bars appear from the NDI sources from my gaming pc since latest streamlabs patch.
Let’s reset Cloudbot on your channel and see if that helps.
👉 IMPORTANT: Do not skip or shorten the waits.
- Unmod streamlabs
- Toggle Cloudbot off
- Wait for at least 10 minutes
- Toggle Cloudbot back on
- Mod streamlabs
- Wait 10 minutes before trying commands
Also make sure that Streamlabs isn’t banned on your channel: type /unban streamlabs in your Twitch chat.

For context, I live in Kentucky.
I’d manually use either of the Ashburn ingests and if you still have issues then go with Chicago ingest.
Wait and troubleshoot with the staff via the ticket. Usually a reinstall won’t resolve this issue.
Alright, I’ll give it a try. In the meantime, I did hook up a camera since this issue started, Logitech’s Streamcam, have you ever heard of that causing issues?

From your screen shot, I'd pick 3 and then 5 and if you still have issues, change to Chicago 3.

Yellow border is apart of Windows 10 capture hook, you can try using DXDGI for capture method within the Window Capture source properties. The yellow border won’t show on stream.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Hey. Since 2 weeks streamlabs starts freezing after like 2 - 3 hours of streaming. I can't find the issue because on some days streamlabs does not freeze. Most suspicious about it is the fact that I always have to close streamlabs via taskmanager. There's no message like "streamlabs crashed".

Log in at the Streamlabs web site with your Twitch https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms. Then merge your YouTube channel. Then in Streamlabs Desktop, log out and log in with the same YouTube channel you just merged.

Hello, I'm trying to stream on Twitch in 1080p, but the streams look a little blurry, especially in games like shooters or with a lot of vegetation, although in general they also look like that. I have a pretty good PC and I use the settings necessary to stream at 1080, but I don't know if there are any that create conflict and make it look blurry. i just logged out and logged in with twitch and it worked
I'd advise dropping down to 720p. On Twitch, the bitrate maximum you can have is 6000 if you're not a Twitch Partner. 720p gives the encoder more room to work with so to speak. Besides viewers on mobile may not have enough bandwidth to watch a 1080p stream.
Sorry, no clue about that other than to tell you to make sure in Streamlabs Desktop at Settings > Audio, you have your Channels set to Stereo. Beyond that, I've not heard of this issue and I'd ask that you submit a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

There’s not a lot we can do with your 3.4Mbs upload. With the bitrate current set at 3500, there’s not much room for improvement. You can try and uncheck Enforce streaming service encoder settings. Otherwise you’ll need to obtain more upstream bandwidth from your ISP. That usually involves a cost so it may not be feasible for you.
Streamlabs Desktop launching as if it is a fresh/like it's the first time using it?
The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.

You'd likely have to ask them who provides their Internet service. If they are they account holders, they would have to contact the ISP and inquire about upgrading the service. That will cost more per month. It may be something they cannot afford if they are on a fixed income.

Dropped frames are a network issue. Likely your bitrate is too high. 3500 is more than your upstream bandwidth provides. You should really drop that down to something like 2800 or 2900. Still need a screen shot of Settings > Video.
Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

I'd reduce your Output Resolution to 1280x720. There's no way your system will be able to sustain 1080p60 with a bitrate of 2800.

I need help, I recently started using Streamlabs Console because it was supposed to get rid of the need for a capture card. But no matter what I do I cannot get my game chat to pick up on my stream, I have "fixed" all of the suspect things ie: allow passthrough, headset and speakers, as well as in game have the setting to speakers. Anyone else have any tips? Otherwise I just have no need to pay for something I cant use.
i will be canceling this ultra subscription, it shoudnt be this difficult to add an intro with music to a pre recorded video and then add and exit scene or ending scene. I have checked all over and cant get it.
Add a Scene called Intro. In that scene add two media sources. One for the music and one for the video. Then add another new Scene called Ending. Add the sources you want.
Hello, recently got stream labs ultra and made a new facebook account for my stream. When I try to multistream to facebook, it tells me I need to link my account, which I have done. But it keeps telling me I need to link it, if I try to link it, it tells me that my facebook is already linked to another streamlabs account, but it can't be. I've unlinked everything on streamlabs and fb but nothing seems to fix this.

Oh, then you’d need to use a video editing program like Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve. Streamlabs Desktop isn’t a video editor. It just,lets you record or live stream. If you’ve not yet cancelled your Ultra subscription, link your discord see if the staff can give you some advice.

Good morning I’m on Streamlabs console too, but my issue is it’s not picking up game chat on my Xbox; and that was the main reason I wanted to try the console Streamlabs as it was supposed to get rid of the need for a capture card.
I've been trying to get streamlabs music to work but whenever I open it, no music or playlists show up. I figured that this could potentially be an internet issue but I waited for half an hour and still nothing. I tried restarting the app, running streamlabs as administrator, redownloading streamlabs, restarting my computer, nothing.
I'm having issues streaming to YouTube. It seems I can't log out and when I try to stream it says to change my encoder settings which have been working fine until this issue.

I can't stream for some reason. It keeps throwing an error to change my encoder settings when they were previously working. I also cam't log out of my YouTube channel or refresh the sign in.
I need assistance please. I lose sound when I alt+tab from my game while streaming/recording. Is there a way to keep on capturing sound from a videogame while streaming if I were to minimize that game and do something else? So far I'm able to capture sound from the PC in general, I would like to capture sound from a specific game or program. Thank you!

Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.
Hey, What's the best way to cut the stream back in-case something bad happens. Say you accidentally connect to VC and stuff gets said, is there a way to set a hot key to cut the stream for a few seconds (including back a few seconds to catch whatever just happened)?
Nothing native that will do that and especially there's no way to back a few seconds and cut that. Once the stream leaves your computer, its out there. You could make a Just Chatting/On a Break/BBR scene and set a hotkey to transition that. To be really effective though, you'd really want to split your audio so you could just not add the desktop audio and microphone sources to that scene or add them and then have hotkeys to mute and unmute them. If you have a Elgato Stream Deck, a multiaction folder works perfectly for things like that.
You should not delete your cache unless directed to do so by Streamlabs staff. Can you screen shot the error message please?

Because it hasn't left the PC
It just delays the stream leaving your computer. That's it. It doesn't cutoff or 'go back a few seconds and cutoff' it just and only delays the stream by that number of seconds.

If you have misbehaving team members or guests, make use of the age guidelines on the appropriate platform like marking it not for kids or adults only. That can though present issues with discoverability.
It was for streaming fornite and playing with subscribers. But the issue is the people that join can invite other people which is a pain. Thx!
Right. Hard to control that. I'd definitely set rules and boundaries in that situation. Like don't let them invite others. Hard to manage that of course but at least they understand the expectations upfront.
It's a little tough because you can set rules, but they'll just break them, then leave and it doesn't bother them
Like sure it's an easy ban for their account, but it's not so good for Youtube or twitch still recieving that on stream
Then use the platform tools you have and ban them. Rules have to have consequences to be effective. Don't let the subscribers run your channel. Don't risk a strike or ban on your channel for their behavior.
That's why a lot of streamers don't play on stream with subscribers.
It's a tough game to play! It'll never be perfect, but I have hope in 95% of the population to play fair

That's the way Windows works. If the game is full screen, it will stop producing output until it is brought back into focus. You could try running the game in full screen window mode but that sometimes causes issues with game capture.

Could be a number of things. Is Streamlabs Desktop reporting dropped frames or a disconnection? What platform are you streaming with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Trovo, or X?
Run the Twitch Test. Run it with Medium or Long Duration for all the ingests in your area. Don't use Short Duration! While it seems that Short Duration is better as it seems like it would take less time, using Short Duration will give bad or misleading results and thus leads to inaqequate decisions.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

It might help with your issue. If I recall correctly, you’re using X.264 encoder right now which is your CPU. Given your older hardware, your CPU is struggling to keep up.

Hey there. I'm a Streamlabs Ultra customer and I'm having a serious tech issue. Every Sunday when I stream - to multiple platforms - my show, which is supposed to last an hour fails at about 50mins. The whole stream goes offline. It's happened several Sunday's in a row. I think I know what the issue might be - hard drive space. I would like to try and find out but I simply CANNOT FIND A WAY OF TURNING OFF DEFAULT REC ALL STREAMS. Can you help. In simple terms I want to turn off the setting that I chose during installation to REC all streams - as, for various reasons, I'm convinced that's what's ending my streams early. Please help!

You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.**

Unfollow and refollow won’t generate a new alert. This is done to prevent people from spamming your alerts by repeated unfollowing and following. You need a fresh never followed you ever follow. If you have completed the guide, we can verify the new connection and I can follow you as a test.
Quick Question: Does anyone know if there is a way to seperate alerts? What I mean by this is for example to have your "New Sub" Alerts under your subscriber count and have your Donation/Membership/Superchat alerts in a diffrent part of the screen.
Let’s verify the new connection real quick. Please go to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections, scroll down to Other Connections and screen shot the Streamlabs connection.
To do this, you'd have not use the Alert Box Widget and instead use two different Browser Sources:
- Go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
- Click Filter Events. Uncheck everything except for Follows.
- Copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in that URL.
- Go back to the Filter Events button, uncheck Follows and check everythjing else.
- Copy the Widget URL and add a new Browser Source (don't reuse the existing one 😉 ) and paste in that URL.
- Viola!

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

It’s not recommended to use Monitor & Output in your microphone. It leads to all sorts of issues like you describe.
What should I use to hear how I sound?
To hear what? You can hear yourself speaking and you can hear the game playing on your computer.
Streamlabs can hear myself which is cool but I want to hear how my mic sounds to see if there's keyboard clicking. I thought monitor and output was used for that

Im having issues with Streamlabs website links for a multi chat it disappears after 10 second or less. So sometimes I don’t even see chat messages because I’m in the action. When I have a browser tab I can see all the messages without disappearing but not integrated with obs.

That is a link to Botrix's widget. You might check your configuration on their web site. All SLD does with a custom panel is display the web page.

i am wondering if it is possible to have multiple different "profiles" set up for my streamlabs desktop because for certain games i want to have certain settings like having my team chat muted and having certain stream elements in play while at the same time I want to be able to have a different layout/profile i can easily swap too for if i am streaming a separate game
does anyone know how to fix high game ping while streaming? 😅 my xbox isn’t connected to an ethernet cable so i imagine that may help but id have to figure out how to have the cable reach my room. any suggestions?
If your router has 5ghz and 2.4ghz Wifi capability, you could try logging your stream output to the 2.4ghz, and your game to the 5ghz. But seriously, cables are less than $20 for 100ft! you would be better off spending up to $30 for a high quality CAT-6 cable. Be sure to measure as precisely as you can, and get the nearest length cord you can; flat CAT-6 cords are available...check Amazon. That's what I used. The cable option is the best one, because that puts your stream output and game console or gaming machine on the ETHERNET virtual private network, and frees up your WiFi for portable devices. Also bear in mind with WiFi, the less obstacles there are between your machine and the router, the better.

You can actually do that by using two different scene collections. But it is possible to set up scenes to behave differently to each other, too, by ONLY USING SOURCES as outputs, and not filling out the parts in Streamlabs UI settings, so you can choose what devices and sources to use in each individual scene, giving you full control of each scene. E.G. scene one could be an intro screen, no cam, just chat box, alerts and a mic input, with an app audio or an audio file to loop; Then scene 2 could be your gaming scene - so that would be your game source, your mic, maybe an audio app for streamsafe music, and if you use your discord server as team chat, that means you can select an individual voice chat channel to associate with streamlabs as an app audio source. Individual team member volumes can be controlled in Discord chat, and your overall output from team chat is controlled on your mixer. Then, make sure in the advanced audio settings that your outputs are appropriately on or off for inclusion in the stream, and you should be good to go.
I am of course assuming you use a PC to stream; if you are using anything else, I don't know what to tell you - you may be asking too much of the hardware.

Hello, I have a problem with recording my ultrawide screen with streamlabs OBS.
With the game capture option I can't get the 3440 x 1440 resolution. Whereas with screen recording it works. I've had this problem since update 1.16.

Try this, delete the Game Capture source and wait a minute or two. Then restart Streamlabs Desktop, wait another minute or two, and add the game capture source back. If this issue persists, right click on the Game Capture source, choose Transform, and then choose Fit to Screen.
That’s definitely strange. Streamlabs Desktop shouldn’t be changing the behavior of a web site element. I asked the staff what they think. If I hear anything, I’ll let you know.

Right! Us Volunteers don’t have access to those sadly. In this case, in Streamlabs Desktop, please go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP. If the drop down menu is set to an IP address, change that setting to Default. If the drop down menu is set to Default, change it to the IP address of your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. After that, click Done to save the settings and then see if you can go live.
Ah, yeah, that may have inadvertently created a second Streamlabs account. The staff can get that resolved for you.
😩 I have done this.I wrote an email to the official support site and they gave me some advice, which included changing the IP.But it still cannot work
My stream closes Al the time. It says invalid session
If your ticket is still open, please reply to it with your diagnostic code and hey can continue to work with you in the ticket. Usually changing the Bind to IP resolves this so there must be some other issue at play here.

Hi Good morning , I am looking for some solution for the issue that I am having during my streams. When changing scenes the audo from my Microphone gets quiet during one of the scenes, and is not consistant and at the same volume as my second scene. Has anyone had this issue in the past? I am not sure if this is a known issue or a set up problem. please help, thanks

hi @gritty isle, I checked all the settings you recommended and they seem to be in place just fine. I multistream to Twitch and Facebook. Twitch alerts work just fine. Facebook alerts never showed. Is there something specific to Facebook alerts that may be causing this?
have you tried holding [SHIFT} whilst dragging the side points? [ALT] allows you to crop to area, [SHIFT] allows you to strech the boundary box, and [CTRL] allows you to reshape the boundary box whilst keeping dimensions
YES. Facebook recently reviewed and denied the use of VRMs for their stream protocols, meaning if you were using certain bots or external protocols, they will no longer work. Annyoing I know
No error message, I just wanted to know if there has been any issues today with Multistream? I had a stream drop to 5kbps. Checked my internet speed and it was well over 100mbps upload.
Disconnected from Multistream and streamed straight to Twitch with no issues.

Setting up my alerts, the other alerts aren't there for some reason.
E.g, my follower alert, raid, etc
That means you’re logged in with your Streamlabs ID. To work on alerts, log in with the specific platform, like Twitch. You can easily switch by clicking your PFP in the upper right of the web site and then click Streamlabs ID and then click the platform you want.

Hi. Does anyone know how to turn off the 'auto REC stream'. I seem to recall it's an option you can choose at installation of Streamlabs, in order to locally record your output. I want to reverse this decision to automatically rec - but I can't seem to find a ref to it in settings. Oh and I can't just click the REC button to stop recording during my streams, as it crashes the stream!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The "acting like it's a fresh restart" is due to certain background processes not closing properly. First, please close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then open your task manager. Please press "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" on your keyboard to bring up your Task Manager.
Please select "More Details" at the bottom if you don't see the percentages of resources used.
Check for any running programs called "Streamlabs," "Electron," or "Obs64". If you find either of these processes running, please right-click and end the process. https://gyazo.com/d6b9babb076875ee5889983b532948e1
Then, reopen Streamlabs Desktop. This should resolve it but if it doesn't please submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and our team would be able to assist you further.

Hiya, after some help if possible.....I have a Panasonic 4K Camcorder, that is hooked upto a 4K capture card via HDMI, the capture card is then connected via USB to an Iphone Adapter which is then connected to my Iphone......I want to Live stream to Youtube via my channel i have set up......I have the Streamlabs free version......What I cant figure out is how to get Streamlabs to see my camcorder view rather than the camera on my phone.......any help on how i can get streamlabs to see my camcorder ???? i've messed about in scenes etc, but just can not get the camcorder image to show on my iphone.....Hope this all makes sense.....Thanks for any tips/info (pic of setup below) (edited)

Hi, i updated Streamlabs (PC) to 1.16.0 and when i launch the program it's extremely slow to start (+30s). With 1.15.x launchs was nearly instant, anybody knows why ?
obvs you run your stream how you want to but the 1 thing i will say is even if you do have music in your stream thats not dmca the bots at twitch may pick up songs that are covers of other songs or songs that you would never play perf example is i play a cover of a song but yet the twitch bots say its the actual song which its not and also there is a song in what i would assume to be 1 of the many languages in inda or the surrounding area

@gritty isle hey, me again. A few days ago I was having an issue where SLOBS suddenly showed 0 kbps bitrate and was causing my streams to crash seemingly randomly. You had me run the Twitch Test, and we identified Ashburn (3) as a server to set a custom ingest to to fix the issue. The last two streams went well with that, until it occurred again tonight, and I lost the last ~30 minutes of my stream without any indication the stream had crashed (a friend had to let me know via discord, and discord streamer mode had it muted for the last 30 minutes). With it still happening, are there any other recommendations or support for this issue?
Definitely seems like an issue with your Internet Service Provider. I would call them and tell them that you are live streaming to Twitch and are getting disconnected. Be patient with them as a lot of techs hear 'streaming' and think you're trying to watch Netflix. You might have to explain a few times what you're doing and what's happening. It might take a bit to get a resolution.

Correct, explain it like that. You can tell them you've contacted support for your live streaming software and we believe its not a software issue. It definitely seems like something in the path between you and the ingest. The only thing in your perview is your ISP. Especially when you say without warning your available upload bandwidth goes to zero. If you know of an exact date and time, they may be able to trace that down. 🤞

So i have Twitch and youtube linked together for alerts. I use streamlabs built in alert box and everything works fine in alerts expect for twitch prime subs. yes everything bits follows yt subs they all show up like normal but twitch subs show for like a mili second make no noise than disapear.

Only problem with that is it seems like bits don't show in the mini feed, nor does the alert go through? Follows, subs, and raids all go through, but bits in particular don't. I've also tested the alert through both the website, and the desktop app and confirmed it does work, so I'm not sure why it doesn't when they're actually sent? Hi! Ive just started streaming, I managed to do a single stream just fine. But when I attempted to set up stream alerts ive been met with a whole lot of issues.
Stream alerts just dont work. AT ALL.
I cant save any changes and when i test the widgets the only alert that pops up is for donations, I am not affiliat so I just wanted follower, raid, and host notifications. Ive looked up every fix in the book, ive tried the website and the website gave me even more trouble then the app. If anybody has the time to guide me through this issue. PLEASE I am desperate

Hey team, I'm having issues when streaming - this has never happened before but has started the last few times I've been streaming.
The streams have been okay, then out of nowhere - the stream crashes and ends on Twitch, but on my SLOBS it says I'm still live - but to 0 veiwers. It restarts after about a minute or so. but this will keep happening every 10ish minutes after that. I've checked my settings and they're still the same as they've always been, nothing has changed.
Why would this be happening and is there a fix for this? I'm literally just using SLOBS and playing Dead By Daylight 😦

uuhh ok so i kinda just started usin streamlabs as my main platform recently and forwatever reason my bit rate is appaling. I followed all the silly youtube tutorials with the settings, set it to 6000, blah blah blah. Does nothin. Anybody know of something I might be missing? i'm refrencing with YouTube live.
In the Audio Mixer, can I sort them manually? For instance, I want my Mic/Aux above my Desktop audio?
Also, is it possible to contiunue a YouTube stream instead of creating a new event everytime? Like how YouTube allows you to restart a stream wtihin a short period of time, I cannot do it on Streamlabs. I can do it by doing it manually using a Stream Key but cause I'm logged in with my YouTube, I can't disable it from starting one normally as well.
Hello, I’ve been multi-streaming with desktop version to my YT channel, and to my shorts feed.
Yt allows multiple stream keys on the same channel.
However, very recently stream labs have been very glitchy when starting the stream. As in refuses to point to YouTube. It goes to kick and twitch. However it’s been very buggy towards YouTube.
The last couple days I’ve not been able to stream to the shorts page
I have not been getting any audio, wether its from games/videos or the microphone at all, i hear it myself but it doesnt show on stream.
Is it possible to set up a hotkey for starting and stopping the replay buffer?
yeah. if it's enabled go to settings > hot keys
looks like you're trying to log in with streamlabs id? maybe try logging in with a different platform
idk what you're using to stream, but if it's streamlabs desktop and not the mobile app then make sure that the audio bars in your mixer are moving. if they aren't check your settings > audio

I don't see an option for starting or stopping the buffer; only the option to save replays
oh sorry. i thought there was. but if you want it to start automatically when you start streaming you can do that you can do that in settings > general > output. i think replay buffer is supposed to auto end when you stop your stream unless you don't want that to happen (which it would be in that same option area to turn that off)
Yea, I have it set up to start when I stream, but sometimes I want to be able to save replays even when I'm not streaming/recording the whole session. I was just hoping there was an easier way to start the buffer in those cases

Change the encoder to the Apple VT H.264 hardware encoder and see how it goes.
Make sure you’ve added the Alert Box Widget to the scene where you want alerts to appear during a stream. Also make sure that the Alert Box Widget is at the top of the Source list in that scene.

that depends on a lot of things. like how many sources/scenes/etc you have. Also could be that you have out of date drivers (like out of date gpu drivers can cause higher cpu usage). you should make sure that everything is up to date and then check a new scene collection (the dropdown to thete right of scenes > new collection).

It is just that there is a problem, because after removing the widget continues to appear
lagged frames = your gpu is being overloaded. so you need to make sure that your GPU's drivers are up to date (with macs i think that's just with their general updater), and that you reduce the amount of things that are using gpu usage (so open applications, deleting things from Streamlabs Desktop, etc). Also in settings > output you should make sure you're using your cpu instead for your encoder (x264)

In Streamlabs Desktop, log out and log in with the YouTube channel you have merged. Then you can toggle off Twitch and go live to only YouTube.

Hello. The other day I Purchased OWN3D Pro and tried making an overlay and it ended up just being a waste of money. It also automatically made a "OWN3D" chatbot a mod in my chat and it has permanently changed how I interact with things in my OBS chat.
For some reason, all that shows up when I right-click names and messages now, this weird little rectangle shows up with curve in it, and the only options it gives is "Purge" or "Delete."
I have banned the bot from my channel and unlinked OWN3D from my channel.
Can anyone please help me figure out how to remove and fix this?

My streamlabs keeps closing by itself, when I go to open it, it goes to the home panel and exits. Previously it didn't exit. My cell phone is an iPhone 8 Plus

I've checked the logs directly and it hasn't recorded any events from the last 3 months or so
It works when I launch the box directly inside streamlabs but when I try to even run a test alert, it will not show on OBS.
Have I missed something obvious? Any suggestions?
@jovial shore do you still have own3d's obs-studio plugin installed? try uninstalling it; failing that, uninstall and reinstall obs-studio (this will uninstall all plugins)

Having issues with your audio? Try the following solutions!

Make sure the audio source is not muted in the mixer on Streamlabs Desktop.

Some audio management software, like Nahimic 2, Sonic studio sound or motherboard audio software like Realtek HD Audio Manager or Sound Blaster Recon are known to cause issues. Try closing that kind of software, and also check Windows taskmanager if any processes with a similar name are running to be closed. If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

Select manually the desktop audio device (audio settings), you use as default device in Windows Sound, not setting it to default. Alternatively you can set it to disabled and add in the scene you want desktop audio an Audio Output Capture and select the device that is set as default device in Windows Sound.

Hi, so I’m using the default alert boxes that you configure in the streamlabs dashboard - and they seem to work fine while playing any game except the one game I actually enjoy streaming. My alert boxes are freezing inconsistently, they appear on screen without any animation, or the animation is very laggy and doesn’t show smooth at all. I run streamlabs as an administrator, and I have everything related to it set to high cpu priority. Is there something im missing?

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

Don't skip the log out steps! To log out of the Streamlabs web site, click your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out. See the image below on how to log out in Streamlabs Desktop.

it allows you to have multiple accounts connected to one email address. however if you are using a general account then that wouldn't be the case

So, whay I did is set up a future stream in Youtube (for the first time, sin I always upload videos, never did livestream before) and Youtube gave me a little first timer walkthrough. After this, it looks like the "streaming" function was unlocked and I had no problem.

Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP and choose Log out. Then clear the cache in your web browser and restart the whole web browser. Don’t just open a new tab or window. Log in with the specific platform, like Twitch for example, and try again.

hi so I am having a very weird issue where when I have streamlabs open all of my audio on my pc goes super crackly and lagy but only when I am using my razer USB sound card but not with any other output device (even the headset the sound card is connected to) and i dont really want to stop using streamlabs or my sound card, any help is appreciated.

At this time, Streamlabs doesn't have an estimation of when we'll have native broadcasting to Kick.com. In the mean time, you can stream to Kick via Custom Ingest, here's a guide to get your started:

Can you elaborate on that? What happens when you try to go live on Kick using those instructions? Did you add Kick as a custom destination? If so then yes, you’d have to go live in the platform you logged in with and Kick. You should scroll all the way down at Settings > Stream and click Stream to custom ingest.

With Streamlabs Mobile, there’s no way to have background music just because of the way iOS is designed. You should be able to use your headphones, if you do run into issues using them, please submit a ticket https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Hi, all. Hope you’re all well. Has anyone had Mac had Streamlabs just stop working? When I open it it, it just loads the loading screen forever. It was working yesterday. When I close it, it says an unexpected error has occurred.
i have uninstalled and unconnects stream labs from obs and it is still showing up in my chat when i enter commands in chat ie !discord. i have switched over to stream elements and have put those commands in there and now it is showing up twice in chat, i have followed the instructions that have been provided on line and even uninstalled it from my computer and logged out everything that was suggested and it is still showing up in my chat box. i even went as far as uninstalling obs and all the setting and starting over and it is still showing in chat. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
Did you turn off Cloudbot on your Streamlabs Dashboard?
