Hi, i have a multistream account and I'm already linked to twitch however i'm getting this error when I try to link my youtube account

• I do have a youtube account that has had various live streams already and is monitized - this is the acount i'm attempting to link
• I logged out of streamlabs and uninstalled/reinstalled.
• side note: my account was linked to another youtube account that's seperate, and I unmerged that connection. (dunno if that affects the error)

• I also tried to unlink the twitch, and login via youtube and it just does nothing and won't let me login that way
• another side note: i can go to multistream, click add destination, and enter the stream key information and url for my youtube channel and it will stream live, however linking the account via youtube has xtra features on streamlabs that I enjoy

Are you using Streamlabs Mobile? If so, you should click Create Event. It would like you scheduled an event.

I just paid for merch for a merch giveaway via the dashboard. The countdown expired, and when I clicked "pick a winner" the website froze. After reloading, there is no giveaway history and I can't return to the page to pick a winner - yet I have been charged for the merch.

That’s Cloudbot. Chatbot is a standalone program you have to download, install, and configure manually. Is the issue that you’re not seeing Follow alerts whilst you are live? And you should check here specifically to ensure your Follow alerts are enabled: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox%23follows

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting. Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. For Follow alerts not being detected:

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

You have to reach out to TikTok. We get that contacting them is frustrating but that’s the process they put in place. Streamlabs has no control over that.

If you’re also using the global audio settings then you would not want to add audio capture sources. If you’re trying to split your audio, we have a guide for that.

Thx, @gritty isle, for super fast reply. The reason I did that was cause I was told there were different volume lvls when changing Scene.

Did the same with Video and that worked out just fine but Audio seemed to be a different story. Viewers asked me if I wanted them to go deaf. Haha.

Keyframe has nothing to do with that. You would need to adjust your bitrate within the allowed bitrate for the platform you’re using and your upstream bandwidth.

Sounds like the stream isn’t reaching YouTube then. I would go over to you Content page in YouTube Studio and then go to the Live tab and if you have any live streams that show as Upcoming, delete every one of those. Sometimes lots of upcoming live streams can break YouTube.

Seems you’ve setup a schedule event in YouTube Studio. You will need to go live at that date and time. If this is not what you want, delete that event in YouTube Studio.

I'm trying to figure out a way to let (specific) people have an image pop up onscreen on a stream.

So, if one of my remote hosts has an image they want to show, instead of having to send me the image, they can just push it live themselves.

The one idea I have feels kinda cumbersome. . . set-up a slideshow linking to a folder that I've sync'd with Google Drive and having them drop the image in the folder and then delete it when we want to get rid of it.

While I'm pretty sure that would work, I'm not sure if it's the best solution.

I haven't used SL in a while, we've been using vanilla OBS, so I dunno if this is a feature that may already exist here? I didn't see it when I was poking around.

Hai everyone. I recently switched from OBS to Streamlabs and my webcam just shows as a black screen. It works on every other app on my computer... except Streamlabs. I also updated the driver and made sure everything is turned off while I open Streamlabs. All apps also have access to it my camera so permissions are granted. Hello, does someone know a solution for problem with going live? I use streamlabs but same was when I switch for OBS for a while to check it. Program says im on live and everything is connected, but on twitch im still offline. At the beginning many things could help with this like reinstal or clean memory in streamlabs but then it didnt help anymore I was trying to format PC, roll back system by one or 2 days and with this also was helpful, but now I did another PC format and it was streaming. Next day when I turned PC on couldnt go live again, but also even didnt had any recovery point to try the roll back. For now nothing is working anymore, I just cant go live.. Does it looks like any System Registry changes that is blocking my connection when I turno off/on again my pc? Funniest thing is I just switch the account to other one on streamlabs and also twitch (a fresh one that doesnt stream) and after I click "go live" stream is working without any problem.. Someone already met with this?

Yes, but its a bit complicated. You'd have to not use the built in Alert Box Widget and instead use separate Browsers Sources.

1. Go to the Alert Box Widget page on the Streamlabs Website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
2. Click the Filter Events button (upper right) and uncheck all the ones you don't want. Like for example only leave Follows.
3. Now copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in the Widget URL.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for as many times as you desire.

Is there a way for me to force YouTube to set live chat to Subscribers Only from Streamlabs when I book the livestreams? I've been dealing with hecklers time and again, and it's starting to get tiring for me to have to set the live chat rules to Subscribers Only manually.

And Nightbot apparently isn't enough. I find that it has limitations when it comes to being able to block out sensitive questions such as "why did you leave IVAO" and such.

It helps but from my standpoint where I'm dealing with hecklers in streams day in and day out, it's sadly not enough...

Have you rebooted your PC? If you've rebooted:

1). Please uninstall the Twitch soundtrack plugin via "add or remove programs" then press your Windows key and search %appdata% then open the slobs-plugins folder, then the obs-plugins folder, then you can delete the soundtrack .dll file.

2). Make a new scene collection in Streamlabs Desktop and see if that helps.

3). Go live, then click the gear icon to the upper right of your volume mixer in Streamlabs Desktop, then uncheck track 6 and tick it back on.

Please try this:

1. Delete that video capture source from the scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
3. Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
4. Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
5. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

I would also monitor CPU and GPU usage with Task Manager and ensure neither are 100% in use.

Make sure you deleted that DLL file I mentioned and reboot your PC. After that make sure that settings doesn’t mention Twitch Soundtrack. If it doesn’t, and you have unchecked and checked track 6, make a test and see how the audio is in the VOD. If the problem remains, you’ll have to make a new scene collection and rebuild your scenes and sources from scratch in the new scene collection.

Oh, Streamlabs Desktop. Yes, you can’t disable the platform you logged in with. For example if you have Twitch and YouTube merged and log in with YouTube, you can’t disable YouTube. Log in with Twitch then disable YouTube.

If you want to add platforms, go to the Account Settings > Platform page on the Streamlabs website and merge the desired platform there. Then restart Streamlabs Desktop.

I stream old games, and sometimes, some of them will be streamed in a very small window, even if i play them in full screen. I have read various times that the solution is to try display capture or window capture, but this does not change anything

No. All it does is disconnect Streamlabs from Twitch and right after that you are logging back in which re-establishes the connection. Don’t worry about your stream key; it’s not involved in this process. You won’t lose any scenes or sources.

No. You have to log in directly with the platform you disconnected. Logging in with your Streamlabs ID won’t reconnect the platform.

Thanks for confirming that. First, please delete your game capture and any other window, display, etc capture sources and close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/918160373264306206/918162974265466911/unknown.png?width=960&height=538). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.

Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

hey guys I am working with a web3 company where I´m supposed to do the weekly livestreams. I know the basics of OBS, but the stream will be quite difficult i think, because i will host different gameplays (i think i have to use NDI tools for that), and have the facecams in there. The hardest part for me is to get the audio right regarding, what do i hear/ what does the stream hear and what do the streamguests hear. I downloaded Sonar (Steelseries.gg) to help me with audio. Hi. I have a problem with Streamlabs OBS.
When I open the application (even as an administrator), I can't click on anything, like if the application was not here, then after a couple seconds, both my screens are becoming black and then reopen as normal but Streamlabs is completely unusable, I can't change scene, I can't add or remove any sources, I can't access anything on the application. To close it, it takes around ten seconds and then an Error Panel opens.

I see 2 options, either it is a bandwitch problem, somehow minecraft could be taking more than other game ? Check on task manager if it does, or there might be a port connection issue where they use both the same port

Hello! Can anyone help? I can only create 1 custom widget. any new widget I try to create just links to the first one I made, and any changes i make in the new widget, are reflected in the original widget too, I destroyed a widget before figuring this out.

This wouldn't be needed if local html source could be treated like a templet and we could have it parse out {tags} with info, I would just make everything web pages, those seem to work just fine! except not being able to have custom fields that can be updated live in streamlads! the link cache has to be refreshed which does make this the only issue, which is why I've been stress over something that should be simple! so, I'm giving up, it's broken for now. or is there something I'm missing?

Hi guys, I really need some help. I cannot believe that I am facing such issue, but I am unable to stream properly. For the past few days I have been trying to stream to Twitch and YouTube simultaneously, but without luck. I got decent hardware, I tried every tutorial I found out there, I also tried OBS, I also tried ReStream, I don't mind paying for any service that would do the job. The stream just lags horribly. I have an odd problem that I cannot seem to fix. I have four Streamlabs widgets that I use in my OBS studio when I stream to YouTube. I must have my YouTube channel connected correctly because the chat works, as does my live visitor counter. However, two other widgets do not seem to work: the Alerts box and the Goal Bar for people who subscribe to my channel. I never seem to get an alert, and the subscriber count never changes, I always have to manually reset it. I've checked my activity and there is a play/pause notifications button (which I must say is very confusing as to whether it is on or not, but I have tried it with both the pause "II" and the play ">" symbols and neither one seems to make a difference. The last activity that is recorded is two months ago.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Video and make sure that the Output Resolution looks right. Usually this can happen if someone logs in with TikTok as TikTok forces the portrait orientation. So, for example, if the output field show 1080x1920, that should be 1920x1080.

If you're Output Resolution looks as it should be, then right click on your capture source, choose Transform and then choose Fit to Screen.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Audio and set the Desktop Audio device to the same device you use in Windows. Don't leave it on Default.

If you're using a Mac, then you won't have Desktop Audio like Windows. See the next post from the bot.

Double check those Voice Options in Fortnite and make sure the Desktop Audio device is the same one you're using in Windows. Often a reboot fixes weird issues so try that as well.

delete the media source and re add it with the one on your mac hd

As @heavy forge said, delete all the sources you dont need to aliviate the load on your mac, in this case is the mac that is not coping with the load.

Also close all the background stuff you dont need while streaming

I see that this has been reported one other time but there was no resolution that I could find. Id visit your App Store and see if there is an update for Streamlabs Mobile. I would also try refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and YouTube. Follow the guide below. To re-establish the connection, log back in with your YouTube at the Streamlabs website.

Then please follow this guide to disconnect your streaming service from Streamlabs: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Once you have done this, please log in again.

I could use some guidance… i’ve been twitch streaming for 3yrs on a ps4, but finally got a pc, and have been trying to get all the things set up with OBS. I downloaded streamlabs stream labels to give me most recent follower/subscriber/etc. on-screen, but the data it’s showing me is almost a year and a half old. I can’t remember at this point if I did something back then that linked/unlinked streamlabs from my twitch… but it must still be linked because it sees that I streamed yesterday. Except it says there was no sub/follower/etc activity, when there was. It hasn’t seen any of the paypal donos in that long either. I don’t know what I’m missing
