I have an issue with Stinger transitions on Streamlabs Desktop (v1.14.0 on MacBook Pro M1). When I change scene, the sound from the scene (sound card) has a cut then fade in again as we can see on the screenshot.
With standard transition everything is working fine.

That may be the problem, so if your events do not appear from the streamlabs brower page, it is a problem with your recent events, look for a video on YouTube on how to reset it or wait for someone from support to help you more complexly.

every now and again when im recording, i might get an ever so slight lag spike and the recording immediately becomes completely corrupted, like, when i try to stop recording, the timer for how long it has been recording starts counting back from zero, and no matter what i try to do, the recording is corrupted

and it clearly works perfectly fine in regular obs which i used to record this happening (i used ctrl + win + shift + B to reset my graphics driver because i worked out that it does the same thing)

Hi everyone! Hoping someone can help me; I recently moved and got a different internet provider/equipment. I wanted to reconfigure my stream settings and I'm not the most tech savvy so I wouldn't know what to select on my own in terms of bitrate, fps, encoder, etc settings. Gosh, that’s unusual. Go ahead and quit Streamlabs Desktop, hit our web site and download a fresh installer. Then run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC. Once it’s back up, see if those handles are back.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
5. Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

This happens occasionally. Make sure you have the latest version installed. I know three have been a few updates for Streamlabs Mobile recently. If that doesn’t help or it’s up to date, delete the app and download it again. If it continues with this message, I’d submit a ticket.

Click Show details and screen shot again. The details give you the reason why that happened. Usually you just need to log out and back in to refresh your OAuth token or you have specified a tag that Twitch doesn't like.

Is there a known issue with the Cloudbot actually using the custom name? I linked it to my chatbot's twitch account, and I see it linked in the Cloudbot web page, but when I try !commands in my chat, they come from Streamlabs and not my bot. FWIW, they were coming from my bot for a little while, but not any more. It's really confusing.

Hmmmm, okay interesting. Let's run through a few troubleshooting steps.

1. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it.
2. Go to your Twitch channel in a web browser and reset your stream key.
3. Wait at least 5 minutes then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in.
4. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP and choose the IP address of your computer from the drop down menu, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
5. Try to go live again.

Huh. Okay, let's run through the Twitch Test. See the post below from the bot.

Be sure to select the Medium duration and select many ingests in your region, not just the one nearest you.

At the end, screen shot the results. And for the best possible test, quit all applications and just run the Twitch Test and don't use your Internet connection from any other device while the test is running.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

I cannot go live on Facebook using Streamlabs OBS using the integrated Facebook connection. I have to manually input it using the settings. I tried to reconnect it multiple times, but it is not working.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Facebook will resolve that.

Please log out of everything Streamlabs that you use: Streamlabs Desktop, the Streamlabs web site, Streamlabels, Streamlabs Console, Streamlabs Mobile, etc.

Hey, I'm using streamlabs console and ran into an issue a couple days ago that still hasn't been resolved. When I start the stream on the xbox I see it pop up on the streamlabs desktop editor on my pc and it even says "you're live! Streaming to twitch" However, the stream never shows up to twitch. No matter what I do I reconnect the account I turn off the xbox. Nothing makes a difference it never shows up to twitch. Also, when I do the alert test it appears all of my alerts have been reset to default. If anyone knows what to do please let me know.

1. Please go to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents, click the Live Actions tab, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Reload Widgets button.
2. Go to the Alert Box web page and click the Launch button and leave that up for a few minutes.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch.
4. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to the scene with the Alert Box (you don't need to be live).
5. Go back to the Alert Box web page and click the test alert buttons. You should see the test alerts in the Preview Window in Streamlabs Desktop and in that Launch window. Leave the Streamlabs web pages up.
6. If you see the test alerts in step 6, let me know and I'll give you a follow. You should see the alert and your Mini Feed should update.

Twitch made massive changes to their API last year and somehow broke how Follows are detected. Refreshing the connection resolves this as it allows Streamlabs to get a new connection to your Twitch channel.

You'd have to be live on YouTube to see how it goes. With YouTube, Widgets might work with an Unlisted stream but Cloudbot won't You'd need to find someone who has their YouTube Subscriptions set public to subscribe to your channel as a test.

** The viewer ** would need to make sure this setting on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy is off before clicking to subscribe to your channel.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Are you using Chrome? I would log out of the Streamlabs Console web site and clear the cache in Chrome, restart all of Chrome, and try again. If the problem continues, please try using Microsoft Edge.

Okay thanks for trying that. Please quit Streamlabs Desktop, go to the Streamlabs web site and download a fresh installer of Streamlabs Desktop. Then run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation; no need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don’t let on launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC. When the PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back on. Let me know how it goes.

That’s not possible.

That's due to the Account Privacy setting on YouTube.

By default, subscriptions are kept Private. When they are in this state, Streamlabs cannot detect when a view subscribes to your channel.

The person watching your live stream (the viewer) would need to change this setting BEFORE clicking the red subscribe button.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

NOTE The setting on your channel (the streamer) has no effect on wether or not we can detect subscriptions. The onus is on the viewer to change the setting. This is not a broke with Streamlabs. Its YouTube complying with privacy laws, like COPPA.

Does anyone off you know what is the best settings on streamlabs desktop app. For 7900xtx and i9 10850k. Streaming 1080p 60fps but picture are not crispy clear. My internet up speed is between 45-75 Mbps depending on the day. Pc is the same for gaming and streaming.

If you’re recording games, I would recommend Game Capture and then add your camera as a video capture source. Some games don’t work with game capture, like Roblox, so you need to use window capture or display capture.

Streamlabs Desktop will stream to what ever platform you log in with. The way around that is to go to Settings > Stream and scroll all the way to the bottom and click Stream to custom ingest and set up the RTMP URL and stream key there. Then it will go live to that custom ingest.

i started using the mobile app and im wondering if there is a way to turn on "click through" on the alert box. "draw on top" turns them on so you can see the alert.. but once its turned on, that part of the screen all of a sudden becomes non interactable. am i missing a setting here? on another note though, external mic also seems to just be ignored

hi! I have an issue with overlays getting blurry. The camera input is clear but when i add text or images it ends up being blurry. I have tried to import bigger imagges and resizing them but still the same result. Anyone knows how to fix this? 🙏

With YouTube, it’s not possible to change the Tip URL. Tip URL are generated and bound to the account when first connected.

Okay. Let’s refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. Please log out of the Streamlabs Console web site and d log out of the Streamlabs web site. If you use any other Streamlabs software like Streamlabs Desktop, Streamlabs Mobile, or Streamlabels, log out and quit those as well. Then follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Just follow the section for Twitch. At the end of the guide, return to the Streamlabs website and log in with your Twitch to re-establish the connection. Then let us know if your next follow works or not. And remember, an unfollow and refollow will NOT trigger an alert! This is done to prevent someone spamming your alerts by rapidly unfollowing and refollowing.

And this will not go back and capture events that were missed.

I am trying to stream on YouTube on my Iphone. Everything is working except for the last step. When I click "Start Broadcast" in my control centre, the stream appears on my YouTube channel and says "Scheduled for [The time it is rn]". But then it doesn’t start. It just says "Waiting for JuJuplayz (My YouTube name)". And I don’t know how to start the stream. Can anyone help me with that?
