if cant see it, it's regarding if you are using GPU or CPU to render your feed. Because also CPU or RAM usage may also take a role in it as well. If you have a good GPU use the Hardware Encoding method

Just got Ultra - not sure if I'm being dumb or not when I'm trying to install themes from the store but they're not fitting with my screen

Above I've shown the new theme vs Streamlabs Dark Mode. As you can see, Streamlabs Dark Mode fills out the entire screen above - with "Minimal Dark" only filling about half the screen

Any help is greatly appreciated - I'm legit just streaming to try and raise awareness of a charity I'm setting up, so I need it to work you know? 🙂

Hello team, I am having issues with a facebook page. I recently created a new facebook page, I lost access to a preovious page, so had to delete it from my talkstudio account. However, i have not been able to stream to the new page. I do all the process, grat full permission for talkstudio in business integration for my facebook profile, I have added and recconected several times my facebook page. The result is the same, I cannot stream at all in scheduled streams or inmediate streams. As you can see the images, the messages is "Looks you did not grat required permissions to talk Studio. Please reconnect your facebook from setting pages and try again". I have even clear cache of Chrome, I have deleted the facebook page and added it again. The issue persists. There are no spikes.whatsoever.
I did notice that if I keep it at a certain size it works as I expect it to do. But if I move the program once more it acts up again.

whats the GPU in your MacBook Pro, because if it cannot handle the hardware settings, it may need to do software, which will tack your CPU and RAM, and your RAM is only 8GB

several people for streaming i recommend 16GB minimum if you are trying to do heavy streams

Combine that with a screen shot from the streamer showing the receiving viewer in the loyalty system and have the streamer ask over at the Chatbot discord. WAV format for your sound for alert is recommended especially if you're mainly streaming on mobile.

I would delete the Chatbox Widget, wait a minute, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a minute, launch Streamlabs Desktop (as administrator if you're on Windows), and then add the Chatbox Widget back. If you have the Chatbox Widget in multiple scenes, delete them all in that first step and then in the last step only add it back in one scene.

Is it possible to have Cloudbot Loyalty Redemptions display on my StreamLabs mobile streaming app when someone redeems Something? I notice it requires me to copy a URL that i would assume normally goes into OBS. Does this mean the mobile app cannot display a notification if someone redeems something? I have been using Streamlabs Desktop for a few weeks now streaming to Twitch and have had no problems in doing so. but last night when i go to start the stream i couldnt go live, Streamlabs says im live on the (desktop version) and is all looking normal but twitch is not receiving the broadcast and is showing offline. But the stream title had changed so i know im still linked.

Steps i have tried include full re install of streamlabs, signing in and out both on the app and browser, refreshing my stream link, adding a rule to my firewall and windows defender to allow streamlabs and updating my drivers.

Any help would be appreciated.

it's probably paused in the top right of your recent events page, if the play/pause button is red it means it's paused

So the streamer I mod (he is not very tech savy hence why I'm asking about this problem instead) keeps having his stream crash when he stops a recording while streaming (this does not happen all the time, I would say more often when it's a longer recording).
He has to then completely restart Streamlabs and start the stream again. The Twitch Stream shows the "NotLikeThis" screen/emote when this happens.
He has a very modern PC (Ryzen 9 7950X3D, RTX4090, 32GB 6000MHz CL30 RAM, 2x 2TB PCI-E Gen4 NVME) so I don't think it would be some sort of load issue.

Anyone know what the issue could be and/or how to fix it?

uhm 🤔 could be a driver issue, if he uses nvenc as encoder, i would have them do a clean install of their gpu drivers https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/clean-install-of-graphics-driver-tutorial It's relatively easy to do, there is an option to do that when instaling the nvidia drivers.

Does anyone know if there is a way to hook a chat command to SLD to dynamically make changes to functions like scenes, microphone mute, etc. ? I have a tendency to forget to change camera angles sometimes, and want to make a command for my mods to be able to change the camera angle when I forget to do it. (the front camera for general chatting has some background music, and I sometimes forget to switch to the other cameras when performing, so background music under the music I'm playing can be a bit cacophonic sometimes). Basically need to link a command to change the scene in SLD. Apparently there's a way to do it with OBS using a websocket plugin and "thefyrewire", but I switched to SLD because OBS constantly crashed for me and was totally unusable. I use "thefyrewire" for channel point redemption effects already. Been using SLD for almost a year now and happy with it generally.

Well my issue is the bugged sounds when someone donates / follows its sometimes cutting the sound (Not sure how to explain) the sound gets distorted / laggy

Make sure the alert duration matches the length of the sound file. For other audio issues, make sure the sample rate of your devices in windows matches the sample rate in Streamlabs Desktop and also in Streamlabs Desktop set the channels to Stereo.

Sounds like the issue then may lie in the game settings then. I’d lower the game settings to reduce the workload on your GPU.

Lower the graphical settings in Roblox. The issues is your GPU is being overloaded. You’ll need to make the game less taxing on your system.

You have to look at the encoder, not the overall usage of your GPU. Remember the encoder not only has to build the frames for the game, it has to build the frames for the stream or recording.

Follower alert issues have been a thorn in the side thing for a long while now due to all the API changes at Twitch. We refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch to resolve those. Want to try that?

That's due to the Account Privacy setting on YouTube.

By default, subscriptions are kept Private. When they are in this state, Streamlabs cannot detect when a view subscribes to your channel.

The person watching your live stream (the viewer) would need to change this setting BEFORE clicking the red subscribe button.

NOTE The setting on your channel (the streamer) has no effect on wether or not we can detect subscriptions. The onus is on the viewer to change the setting. This is not a broke with Streamlabs. Its YouTube complying with privacy laws, like COPPA.

Not a solution, but as a troubleshooting step, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Sources and uncheck Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration, click Done to save the settings, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and see how it goes.

Please reboot your PC, then download a fresh Streamlabs Desktop installer from our web site and run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall beforehand. At the end of the installation, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Dekstop but rather just quit the installer and reboot your PC again.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Not a solution, but as a troubleshooting step, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Sources and uncheck Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration, click Done to save the settings, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and see how it goes.

Okay, weird. Please go to each scene that has the Alert Box Widget and delete the Alert Box Widget. Once there are no more Alert Box Widgets, wait a minute or two then quit Streamlabs Desktop. After a few minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop and add the Alert Box Widget to just one scene and test from the web site again. Don’t have the Alert Box Widget properties open, just select the scene where the Alert Box Widget is placed.

Hi Everyone. Having a new issue. A few times in the last week or so, SLOBS will just freeze up with streaming. It has happened 2 hours in, and it just happen again now 5 minutes in. I will look over and see that the preview and live windows have frozen, and the stream ends. Ran a test yesterday and it went 6 hours before I stopped it. Today, 5 minutes and it quit. Almost like it is freezing up. Also, when I have clicked inside the program I am streaming, I notice that now the soud level bars stop moving, until I click back on OBS. I normally see this for at most a minute and then it stops and the video saves just fine. Hi! I'm looking for help with a problem I just realized I'm having, and can't tell if it's related to Multistream, or SLOBS in general. Whenever I'm playing a game with a lot of high-end graphics and fast-paced action, the stream seems to become very pixelated. It's not a performance issue - none of percentages in CPU, RAM or GPU ever go past 60%, but it's happening quite a lot.

You use the desktop version of Streamlabs right? Are you paying for Ultra? I think if I have to pay for a subscription I’d be okay with it. It’s just I’ve always debated between Melon, StreamYard, and Ecamm. There was a lifetime deal on Melon so I took a chance with it 🤣

And honestly, for streaming in the browser, it looked great to me. Just don’t understand why the final result was mushy like it was an oil painting.

I use Brave. In the help center it says that Talk Studio doesn’t work well with Firefox. And it said to disable all plugins, turn off all applications. That’s when I was like hmmmm I think I might need to use one of the downloaded platforms 🤣

My main use case for it is actually just interviewing some business owners. Not even sure I’ll actually stream live to YouTube yet.

I really liked how easy it was for my guests to join though. And being able to download the footage was awesome.

It has it's perks, but i mainly use SL for the ease of use of configurations for it in the browser, i use the Rival for Streaming, but merch, store, and other configurations in browser are easy for me. I tried using it for streaming VRChat at a point in time to see what took more RAM usage, and at that time, SL kept sucking up the RAM so i said nah and went back to XSplit. I'll eventually use it when XSplit has issues or goes down, it's an alternative if one platform fails as redundancy.

Plus i needed something to work well with VoiceMeeter Banana, and the ease of use for that went to XSplit, because SL has it built-in, but gets confusing for me to set up the audio channels right.

Don't skip the log out steps! To log out of the Streamlabs web site, click your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out. See the image below on how to log out in Streamlabs Desktop.

👉 NOTE: This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. Events are sent over the API once and if they aren't detected, that event will never be sent again. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Appears you may have not given permission to the camera for whatever application you're using, looks like a web browser open to the Streamlabs Console web site. Go into your Window Settings and search for camera and go to Camera Privacy Settings.

I seem to be losing my saved scenes if my phone gets logged out for no wifi. when I log back in i have to recreate the scene. I have 4 iphones i am using for streaming with no SIM card just wifi.

If i open Streamlabs without checking the wifi first, it fails with "unable to login" then when i fix the wifi and login my scenes are deleted.

I thought the saved scenes were uploaded to my account somewhere. Please advise on what might be happening.

hey yall. I am trying to add a scene in my streamlabs for a full-screen webcam like streamers have when they want to have their whole screen be of their webcam. I made a scene for it and imported the webcam but I think its causing issues with my other scene with the webcam. I use a circle webcam via a mask and filter so its turned into a circle but I want the fullscreen webcam to be the default size of the webcam in my other scene. Does anyone know how I can go about this? I pretty much just need my webcam to work with two different scenes. I think a fix may be to disable the webcam in scenes when Im not in that scene if thats even possible. If anyone knows how to fix this or has a solution please lmk! tysm!!

when i Have Blackhole 2ch desktop audio selected i dont hear anything but the stream does
but when i select multi-output audio device i hear it out of my headphone, computer speaker and it goes through the blackhole audio

I'm having trouble with the infinite loading for streamlabs i've tried literally everything and it's still happening and I don't know why any fix? I've looked everywhere and I just can't fix it

Weird one I'm dealing with.

I use streamlabs and streamlabs ultra to multistream to Twitch, X, Youtube, and Kick.

More recently, my streams will lose audio live, but only on Twitch and Kick. When I check X and YouTube they still have audio.

Anyone deal with this before? Seems like a backend server issue on streamlabs side

I fixed my problem. I checked every scene and deleted every alert source I have. I put a new one, tested it and the default noise is gone so I'm good.

Log out of the twitch and log back in with your YouTube and you should be able to change the twitch back to primary
