Hello;

When setting up my stream audio, I selected my realtek audio desktop speakers as monitor for my background music and notifications. This left my Razer headphones for game and discord. This has functioned well for me for two years.

Last week it stopped working. If I select headphone chat (discord) or game then I can monitor through the headphones, but this results in muddled coms.

Streamlabs sees the speakers and displays them in the mixer, it just doesn't send them a signal.

The Realtek Audio speakers work in any other function on my PC.

Any thoughts or solutions appreciated.

If that camera offers a video feed over IP, it might work via the custom item/URL but I can’t guarantee that. I don’t have anything with me at the moment I could test that with.

To be honest, I don’t think that would work. Streamlabs Mobile doesn’t have a video capture source and the camera layer only works with the devices camera, not externally connected cameras. I would put in a ticket to get a definite answer.

However when switching to advanced the result is the 6 other

just black screen, it measures the time of the recording but nothing else

I have tried all encoders and doesn't seem to make a difference.

now if you look at recording quality near the bottom, 'same as stream' this is the only setting that works in simple mode

if I change that to any of the 3 other options
-high quality,medium file size
-indistinguishable quality,large file size
-lossless quality,tremendous file size
all result in 1 of the 6 being produced (black screen, no audio)

Well since the button doesn't open a browser for you, you'll have to reset your default browser

To change your default browser:
Click the windows search icon on the bottom left of your PC > Search "Default Apps" > Select the matching setting > Scroll down to find the Default browser and select the browser to change it.
Once the default browser is changed (Either to edge, Chrome, or Firefox). Close and reopen the Streamlabs Desktop App by right-clicking the application and selecting "Run as Admin". Feel free to try logging in again.

You'd have to look in the Add/Remove Settings and see if there is an uninstall for it.

Googling shows that that DLL is potentially from Reaper. https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ You might see if they have uninstall directions for their product.

And if you factory reset your PC, did that wipe your hard drive or not? If not, then what ever you had installed may still be there. If you had to format your hard drive and reinstall Windows and all your applications, that should not happen. I would also search your hard drive for that file and see if it indeed exists.

What capture method are you using?

If you're using Game Capture, check this option.

If you're using Window Capture, it has the same option.

And also with Display Capture, the same option.

If you're using Screen Capture, click Show addtional settings then as the others, there's that option.

Usually when you log in with YouTube, if you have more than one channel available to you, it should have an interstitial window that allows you to select the particular channel. I know that sometimes for me that window doesn't present and I've never figured out why.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

I would log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Go to your Twitch channel and reset your stream key. Then wait at least five minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP and select the IP address of your computer in the drop down menu; usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. Then save the settings, log in with your Twitch and try again.

This usually means you're logged in Streamlabs Desktop with either your Trovo, TikTok, or X. The app store only supports the usual ones, Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. If your logged in with one of those three and it still isn't working, please log out in Streamlabs Desktop, open a web browser, and log in at the Streamlabs web site with either Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in there with one of those three platforms.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

That's due to the Account Privacy setting on YouTube.

By default, subscriptions are kept Private. When they are in this state, Streamlabs cannot detect when a view subscribes to your channel.

The person watching your live stream (the viewer) would need to change this setting BEFORE clicking the red subscribe button.

NOTE The setting on your channel (the streamer) has no effect on wether or not we can detect subscriptions. The onus is on the viewer to change the setting. This is not a broke with Streamlabs. Its YouTube complying with privacy laws, like COPPA.

If the viewer changes the setting after subscribing, an unsubscribe and resubscribe won't trigger a new alert. That is done purposelly to prevent viewers from spamming alerts.

That’s due to fast motion. It depends on the platform, but you can increase your bit rate or ideally you should decrease your output resolution; that give your encoder less work.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Hi, I’m using the mobile app to livestream with iPhone 14promax and noticed that the chat box is not as tall as previously was. Only about 3 to 4 lines of chat are visible, I can scroll to see previous messages, but would like to expand to see more?

I managed to have all my platforms connected to the same streamlabs ID by doing the following:

1. On your streamlabs account - unmerge/unlink all connected platforms
2. Make sure your tiktok is not linked to any account
3. Login into streamlabs using your tiktok account
4. Merge the rest of your platforms and then merge your desired streamlabs id.

A bit of fiddling and not very straightforward but this is the only way i have managed to get the platform merged to my streamlabs.

I am responding to your message because i saw you were in need of advice when i was looking for solutions myself. And so I am hoping like this, more people will be able to resolve their issues.

I have a M2 macbook. When doing screen capture either using the entire screen setting or a particular game, Streamlabs just records the upper left-hand corner of my screen.

If I select for it to record just the game window it still only records the upper left side of the game and you can't see the entire window.

I have Stream labs connected to YT and when i do stream, i have a microphone issue. I have a microphone and a headset. (no speakers) when i talk into the mic, I hear myself through YT. Which is what i want but ever 5-7 seconds later, i hear the same statement i made previously but only softer. If i talk really loud, i can hear myself repeat the same line about 3-4 times as it keeps going softer.

You could only do that if Xbox had a an app for that. Streamlabs Console only works with Twitch. They only other way would be via the use of a capture card in a PC or a Mac. But that's obviously a significant investment and can be a complex setup.

You need to cap the in game FPS at a rate the divides evenly by 60. So in your case I cap the in game FPS to 120. Running uncapped FPS causes more issues.

Wel, you could connect your YouTube account in your Twitch settings and then export the VOD to YouTube. But without an app directly on the Xbox that lvie streams to YouTube, there's no way to do that.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Cool. Yeah, that's about all I can suggest. You'd need more upload bandwidth in order to increase your bitrate. You don't want to go over 75%. You can try out a bitrate of 9000 to 9500 but I wouldn't go any higher.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

That would not help. Usually the Refresh Chat or relogging resolves this issue. Very strange that neither did for you.

I would follow these steps:

1. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it.
2. Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP and choose Log out.
3. Clear the cache in the web browser and quit the web browser.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on every device you access the Streamlabs web site.
5. Follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Just the section for Twitch.
6. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch.

Still having issues with seeing my alerts on stream from streamlabs console, everything else is showing up including overlays and the chat but alerts just don’t show up on stream in the alert box that i have set up. Anyone know the issue?

Alerts are also working when i just launch my streamlabs alert box in a browser tab and use the test alert buttons

Clear the cache in Chrome, restart Chrome, and try again. If the issues persists, try a different web browser like Microsoft Edge or Firefox. Chrome always has issues with the Streamlabs web site.

I stream on Twitch and have a subscribe goal set.
However, the subscribe goal does not advance the moment a viewer subscribes, the numbers increase when I am offline.
This happens regardless of new subscribers, re-subscribers, gifts, or tier counts.
I am logged into StreamLabs while streaming and have the dashboard open in my browser while streaming.
Is there a specific time when the numbers are updated?

Then I looked in the dashboard and realized that the option for "follow" is no longer there? I would like to have my animation and the sound for it back or would just do it with subscribe if follow is no longer selectable. these settings are exposed by your camera driver, so any settings that are locked are not available for this camera or its currently installed driver

For what ever reason, it seems so. You shouldn't have to. There's definitely something causing this issue, I'm not entirely sure what. You could always submit a ticket https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and troubleshoot it with the staff or now since we've got you logged in and you see your Ultra subscription, you can now link your Discord and gain access to the Ultra Support channel and they might be able to figure it out with you.
