If you're streaming directly from your Xbox to Twitch and not using Streamlabs, you'd need to reach to Twitch for help with that or perhaps Xbox support. I'm not sure why its wanting you to connect back when you've already been using it.

Having the 1 month variation doesn't really make sense because your 1st sub is always month 1 so remove that one and only keep at least 2,3,4, etc.

The tokens usually last between 30 and 60 days. Streamlabs has no control over that. It’s all up to Twitch.

Anyone having problems streaming to kick when I go live on YouTube and kick kick doesn’t kick in live till I’m halfway thur the video

Make sure you have completed these three items:
You go to your Kick Dashboard and set the title and category.
The bitrate is 8000 or less
The Output Resolution is 1920x1080 or less, ideally 1280x720

If that does not resolve the issue, reset your stream key on Kick and update it in your custom destination.

Beyond that, it’s probably just Kick itself. We have had a few reports this weekend of stream issues with Kick.

Trying to assist someone with this, hoping someone here may know a trick, but while using Streamlabs mobile on an iPhone streaming to Twitch, setting at 1080p 60 fps, 6000Kbps, the stream looks great, but when any user tries to transcode at a lower resolution like 720p60, 720p, 360p, etc, the video is aspect ratio is off and looks swished with black bar on the side, this is only when not set at 1080p on the Twitch side. check teh output settingss maybe, and set your resolution to native then the output to the 1080p

so make sure your base canvas is the antive resolution of your device or screen then set the output to the desired resolution

Clear your Desktop browser cache to ensure it’s not the widget causing this.

For Streamlabs Desktop:

1. Close Streamlabs Desktop
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Startup Streamlabs Desktop again

For OBS Studio:

1. Close OBS Studio
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

This happens because TikTok forces the portrait view because that’s what they require. Other platforms could care less.

Hi, does anyone know which permissions one need to be able to manage giveaways via cloudbot. I used to be able to manage them for all channels I moderate and administrate. Remove the integration, log out of Discord and quit it. Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP and choose Log out. Clear the cache in the web browser. Quit and launch the web browser, go back to the Streamlabs web site, log back in, and perform the integration again. Then launch Discord and log back in there.

Hello, I am still having issues with Streamlabs desktop only occasionally streaming correctly. I have checked all the articles I could find on Streamlabs website but issue still happens:

• Streaming to Twich works randonly (it would either stream or not) but the app reports everything as normal every time.
• Using Twitch Inspector I can see that I am sending data (bitrate is 5k to 8k depending on my settings in Streamlabs desktop app), no delays and summary shows as all good, however Frame rate in the inspector is showing as ZERO. Twitch website is not showing any activity on my account
• When the actual stream is working from time to time then only difference in Twitch Inspector is that it is now showing 60 fps.
  I have done all the troubleshooting I could think of (from login out, updating the app and reinstalling it, changing variouse settings on the app in line with Twitch recommendations or your articles and it is still happening. I had no issues for years and then all of the sudden it started to happen.
  Runnning RTX 3090 with AMD Ryzen9
  If anyone could help - that would be amazing

Twitch VOD track isn’t available when multistreaming. By its name, only Twitch has support for that option and it only works if your logged in with Twitch and streaming only to Twitch. The other platforms would have to add this support on their end and there is no signs of that happening.

Hello! I use Streamlabs to stream directly from my Xbox, and ofc Streamlabs charges you to be able to do that. Well, literally after I paid for the Streamlabs Console subscription, it literally just stopped working. When I go live through Streamlabs, I cannot do literally anything. It says I go live but I don't, and I've set up a lot of overlays and alerts through Streamlabs. It works perfectly fine when I stream through Twitch, but then I can't use overlays or alerts and that has been affecting my views. I would like to get this issue resolved today.

They available alerts for each platform are already created and available for you to configure how you like. You'd have to configure them individually since they have different options even though both platforms call them 'Subscriptions'.

Then, with SLOBS running, I had one of my friends unfollow and re-follow me with no luck, though I know you said an unfollow/refollow cycle wouldn’t work. I’m curious as to why that is?

An unfollow and refollow won't trigger a new alert in order to prevent spam. You wouldn't want someone unfollowing and refollowing over and over to spam alerts on stream. 😉

Okay, please make sure you go to the scene with the Alert Box and I'll follow. You should see the alert in the Preview window and the Mini Feed should update. You don't need to be live. And to be sure, you clicked the Reload Widgets button on the Live Events page, correct?

I did all of the steps, including the widget reload, yes. I’m in the correct spot … I even just ran another test to make absolutely sure my volume was up and I saw the box on screen, so I am ready.

Please make a new Scene Collection, not just a new scene. The in this new Scene Collection, just add your capture method and check your GPU usage. If its better, then manually rebuild your scenes and sources in this new Scene Collection.

Okay, please do this:

1. Delete that video capture source and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
3. Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
4. Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
5. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

Hello all! I have an issue that I could not find an answer to. I've used OBS to stream for a few months and for some reason, there is no way for me to use it to stream some specific games. I instaled Streamlabs and it's "Screen Capture" option where I select a specific game Works all the time. However, there is this ugly Yellow border all over my game. Please is there anyone who knows how to remove it?

Remove the integration, log out of Discord and quit it. Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP and choose Log out. Clear the cache in the web browser. Quit and launch the web browser, go back to the Streamlabs web site, log back in, and perform the integration again. Then launch Discord and log back in there.

Yellow border is apart of Windows 10 capture hook, you can try using DXDGI for capture method within the Window source capture settings. The yellow border doesn’t appear on stream and is there to remind you that window is being captured.

If you streaming to YouTube, you can go live to a Unlisted or Private stream. Note that certain Widgets and Cloudbot don't work with Unlisted or Pricate streams. Other platforms don't have these types to streams so you'd just have to go live to test.

Looking now, it seems that it should appear in Streamlabs Desktop at Settings -> Stream and not on the web site.
Here's mine...
You shouldn't need Ultra in order to merge your Instagram account as far as I know. You would need Ultra if you wanted to multistream. But not just to merge your Instagram account.

@desert briar If you're on Windows, make sure your Streamlabs Desktop is on the latest version, 1.15.1. It should also appear on the MacOS version which I believe is still at 1.14.x.

i come baring more questions. The issue im now having is a bit of input lag on my TV when using the capture card. The only thing i could think of causing this is maybe a slow HDMI cable but both are high speed ones so im a bit confuzzled as to what may be the cause..

You can try a reinstall but there's probably an issue between you and the ingest causing these disconnects. Its going to be hard to troubleshoot. Best you can do is right after you experience a disconnect, is to contact your ISP and see if they can assist in troubleshooting. Don't wait too long to call as their logs might rotate off depending on how big of an ISP they are.

No need for a fresh install. Just download an installer and run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC. This reinstall won't impact your scenes and sources as they are backed up in the cloud.

If you’re connected via wired Ethernet and have spare cables, I’d replace the cable between your PC and the cable modem. Also, if you’re the only one using the cable modem, I’d shut down your computer, pull the power cable from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes. Then plug it back in and once the cable modem is fully up, boot up the PC. This should give you a different WAN address. WAN = Wide Area Network. This is the address that lets the cable modem talk to ISP. That’s about all you can do.

they can (and often are) very selective at throttling traffic. It's not that your traffic may be targetted... but you could be experiencing an unintended impact to a change they made

Please make sure you have "streamlabs" added as an app to the group itself tooIfyou don't, it can cause a 200 error to pop up when they try to go live

how to:
-Open Facebook groups and choose the group you would like to connect to Streamlabs
-Open the Group settings, scroll down to Manage advanced settings and choose Apps
-You will see a pop-up where you will be able to click on "Add apps" if Streamlabs is not already listed there
-Search for "Streamlabs " and press the Streamlabs icon to add it
(They still need to have admin privileges to do this)

To fix this login issue @limber spruce

Please quit Streamlabs Desktop, go to the Streamlabs web site, download a fresh installer, and run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer and then reboot your PC. Once the PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and try again.

Okay, please do this:

1. Delete that video capture source from the scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
3. Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
4. Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
5. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

Okay, strange. Looks like the download might be corrupted for some reason. I would delete that file from your Download folder. Then clear the cache in your web browser, restart the web browser (don't just open a new tab or window), navigate back to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/, and download it again.

Question for the streamers out there. After swapping computers I am finally ready to start streaming. I have all my sounds from my flight sim computer going through a USB sound device into another sound device on my streaming computer. When MSFS isn’t running everything is fine with the audio going to the stream PC. As soon as I start the MSFS program there is quite a bit of static that drowns out all of my voice and plane/radio communications. I have tried turning down all the MSFS audio setting and it doesn’t help. I have tried two different USB sound devices and also the onboard sound card. Any ideas?

As I said, without dual output, I can stream on all platforms at the same time, including Insta with the same settings, but you can only see the partial excerpt on Insta. Which is why I want to use the dual output, which is only for Insta and Tiktok. In addition, dual output for recording has not yet been activated. I've also turned off replay in the hope that that was the problem. fps, bitrate tried everything, no change

But since this error ONLY occurs with the dual output and nothing else, it must be the system's fault. I haven't found anyone who streams on Insta and YouTube at the same time and shows something about it

This slash should be a back slash. Because of that it’s treating your filename has an option. Which of course won’t work. So either fix the recording path option or the filename option.

I'm having the weirdest issue I've ever had with Streamlabs Desktop, since last week's live stream it doesn't properly load the views in the app when switching between tabs (see video), already reinstalled, no luck. Made sure graphics drivers are up-to-date, which they are. The weirdest thing is that it has always worked, nothing has changed on my end since two weeks ago (the last time it worked fine). I also noticed it isn't consistent, sometimes the views do show up properly, other times they don't.

Anybody have an idea, I have another stream coming up this Friday and would like to get this sorted out before then.

Hey everyone, good morning. I have a dual monitor setup that I use for gameplay and streaming. SLOBS is on my left-side monitor, my game is on my right-side monitor. When I click off of SLOBS to go play my game, the EQ monitor bars and my stream avatars freeze in my SLOBS preview window. They remain frozen and unresponsive until I click back on SLOBS. Any thoughts?

Is anyone else having issues with hearing alerts while streaming on youtube? The audio bar indicates that the stream can hear it, but I cannot. I have tried multiple settings as far as "monitor and output" and those. I have also tried using the "alert box" and the "browser" source, both react the same. I stream to youtube from my pc using a capture card from the PS5. I'm also using voicemeeter banana.

It's not greyscale, that is a generic screen showing what a display could look like. If that is the screen you are getting you aren't capturing the right window. You need to create a source and figure out which sceen and window you want to capture. There are several different ones as far as a screen, a specific window, or even a capture card.

I can’t say, sorry. Times vary due to ticket load, staff being out, etc. Us Volunteers aren’t employees so we don’t have access to that system. Just be patient and they will get to you. The first email will be an automated one and may include ‘helpful’ links the system thinks will resolve your problem - don’t click any of those as that will close your ticket.

Change your Audio Monitoring device to something else and save the settings. Restart Streamlabs Desktop and then switch the Audio Monitoring device back to the desired device and save the settings.

Well I am not to sure as I am not an expert, but I can tell you that in the source make sure your "color space" and "color range" are bot set to default. and after you crop your camera try clicking off of it. It may just be showing as the "white color" to show you have it currently selected, but it may not mean that's how it's appearing on stream. If none of those are the issue I'm afraid I wouldn't know how else to help.

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Can I please get some help? I have a couple issues...

In SLOBS I can't connect to my YT chat. Kind of. I can see what people write in chat... but it wants me to login so I can type in chat... but then I am sent to a browser which opens the chat by itself in a whole new window. I don't have a third monitor for that.

I'm also having a problem with the chat highlight function. It doesn't show the pin for me when I hover over a users message in chat.

Sadly that’s normally for YouTube. The API with YouTube only allows chat to be read only. If you want to type in chat, open chat in a select browser.
And Chat Highlight is only available for Twitch.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Hi I'm having an issue with Streaming to Facebook (using StreamLabs Mobile app iphone13)
I have been able to stream to Twitch and Kick without issue,
I have tried to remove and reauthenticate/relogin to facebook and I still get the same issue of Error Code 200 Subcode 1363120

Clear your Desktop browser cache to ensure it’s not the widget causing this.

For Streamlabs Desktop:

1. Close Streamlabs Desktop
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Startup Streamlabs Desktop again

For OBS Studio:

1. Close OBS Studio
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Start up OBS Studio again

Okay, please do this:

1. Delete that video capture source from the scenes where it’s used and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
3. Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
4. Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
5. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

If you still have issues, try these steps again but move the camera to a different USB port. Don’t use a USB Hub.

So I have two questions:

I use a single 3440x1440p monitor (2K resolution I believe). I was wondering how I would go about removing the squashing/stretching look on my streams or recordings, as well as removing the horizontal black bars. I originally set my canvas resolution to the native monitor resolution and had the scaled resolution to 1920x1080p, but that gave the squash/stretched look. Any tips would be appreciated.

And for the 2nd question: I have tried to record videos, but I have been constantly plagued with skipped, lagged, and blurry frames. Any help with that would be fantastic, as Youtube hasn't helped me much in this area.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

• You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

Hallo! I was wondering if anyone's had issues trying to merge their Twitch/Streamlabs account with their Youtube; I tried to merge with Youtube but made a second primary account. If anyone could help with merging a primary Twitch with a primary Youtube account so the Youtube account is the secondary it'd be greatly appreciated! Trying to merge now causes a swap between accounts and it just backs out, showing no merging on the Platforms page

I'm having an issue with screen capture. Every time I launch OBS, It switches my display monitor. I have 3 monitors and every time I launch OBS it cycles through what monitor it will display and I have to keep manually changing the display monitor every time I launch OBS. Is there a fix to this problem?

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Are you logged in the Streamlabs website with your YouTube or with your Streamlabs ID? If the latter, click your PFP in the upper right then switch to YouTube.

Log out of the Streamlabs website by clicking your PFP and choose Log out. Clear the cache in your web browser, restart the web browser (don’t just open a new tab or window), and try again. Be sure to log in with the YouTube channel.
