Hello, I am using Version 1.14.0 (1.14.0) on macOS Sonoma 14.2.

When I use the "interact" function on the browser and try to enter text, I have noticed that the "L" key (both uppercase and lowercase) acts as if I am pressing the Enter key. This is causing an issue, especially on certain websites where I am unable to log in if the letter "L" is included in my password, as it inadvertently triggers form validation.

I have attempted to work around the issue by copying and pasting the letter "L" from another webpage, but this has not resolved the situation.

Quit Streamlabs Desktop. Go to the Streamlabs web site and download a fresh installer. The launch the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC. Then see how it behaves.

Look like your experienced a disconnect from Twitch. Download speed doesn’t factor when streaming; streaming uses upload bandwidth. Please run the Twitch Test (see next post) using the Medium Duration and select many ingests in your area.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
4. Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)

Interesting. I'd make sure that if you;'re not a Twitch Partner, that your bitrate isn't set higher than 6000. Also you might try logging out of Streamlabs Desktop, going to your Tiwtch channel, reset your stream key, wait at least 5 minutes, and then log back in in Streamlabs Desktop.

OH! You need to split all of your audio for this to work. Spotify is probably being heard over your Desktop Audio as well. For this to truly work, you'll need to split all your audio into their own sources and then set Desktop Audio to disabled.

So I have scenes on Streamlabs Console and it captures audio no matter the scene now. It didn't used to. The scenes I don't want to have audio don't have the game capture component even in them. Adding and removing the game component before going live didn't solve this issue either. Did I miss a release note or something? In this case, it’s because your bitrate is too high. The maximum bitrate allowed by Twitch is 6000. So lower your bitrate to 6000.

Hey there, I am having an issue with getting my game audio to come through Streamlabs. I use an Elgato HD60 to stream from my PS5. I was having no issues, then suddenly it stopped working. I've done everything I could. I've gone into my Streamlab settings, my PC settings, sifted through countless Reddit threads and YouTube videos and nothing has been able to help me.

This assumes that I have more than 1 or 2 mods watching at any given time...and, that isn't always the case. I am a small streamer (think - 30 views or so average) trying to grow a little...so, it's not like I have a giant mod staff. I do appreciate understanding better how it would work...before I invest in Ultra.

From what I understand...I would most likely have to ask them to join the other platforms...and be ready to log into them just to ban, but that I would be able to see on my end where problematic chatters were at.

I think that would probably work well enough as long as I could get them to make accounts for modding in all the new to us spaces.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Hello, I'm seeking help figuring out why Streamlabs chatbox isn't working for me. It was fine for years until a couple of days ago, and I can't figure out why. I'm using OBS Studio and have Chatbox as a browser source. What I find odd is that if I use the launch feature on the website and pop it out. It shows up there just fine.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

So, I had an issue where my Streamlabs editor display was in the wrong resolution (1080x1920), which I was able to fix through online resources where others had the same issue.

However, when I go live on YouTube or Twitch, the resolution is still in 1080x1920 instead of being 1920x1080.
I double checked the resolution and other settings, but there doesn't seem to be anything in 1080x1920.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

For some reason if I have the 7tv setting enabled for the chat widget, the whole thing stops working on OBS... It still shows in the browser source when I launch it there and the source isn't covered by anything. I tried disabling and enabling the hardware acceleration in obs and nothing changed. It works perfectly with BTTV and FFZ, it's just 7tv that breaks it. Any ideas are appreciated!

Go to your Twitch channel via a web browsers, then Pop out the chat in a browser (for twitch) > copy url > make a browser source > paste url into browser source > ok > right click > interact > accept cookie message.

To do this, you'd have not use the Alert Box Widget and instead use two different Browser Sources:

1. Go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
2. Click Filter Events. Uncheck everything except for Follows.
3. Copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in that URL.
4. Go back to the Filter Events button, uncheck Follows and check everythjing else.
5. Copy the Widget URL and add a new Browser Source (don't reuse the existing one 😉 ) and paste in that URL.
6. Viola!
7. Profit!

Clear your Desktop browser cache to ensure it’s not the widget causing this.

For Streamlabs Desktop:

1. Close Streamlabs Desktop
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Startup Streamlabs Desktop again

For OBS Studio:

1. Close OBS Studio
2. Hit windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Start up OBS Studio again

hello, here is my problem. alerts from followers, donations etc. is not showing up on my stream. the mini feed on streamlabs desktop does not update, 3 follows on my last live and my mini feed does not update its latest ones. I have already opened a ticket with streamlabs support and they asked me to do this:

Please follow the steps below to refresh your connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. This refresh should allow new alerts to appear in your recent events, alertbox and update everything properly!

1. Log out of Streamlabs and all Streamlabs software that you may be using.
2. After logging out, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
3. Then find Streamlabs (Twitch Alerts) or Streamlabs Dashboard & click Disconnect.
4. Once you have done this, please log in to streamlabs.com or Streamlabs Desktop with your Twitch account

This will refresh your connection.

hello! so, i've been trying various workarounds to get the minifeed to show my screen so i can adjust it, but it won't pop up no matter what i try. i've reinstalled (ran the installer as admin) and also tried to run streamlabs itself as admin... i'm not signed into an account, as i'm just trying to stream on discord itself, but i did also try to sign into my twitch account to see if that would make it work just so i could adjust it (it did not) so i'm kind of stumped... no matter what i input as a source, nothing shows up in my minifeed 😭

i restarted my laptop and messed around with it some more so im not sure if it was my own negligence or what but 😧 its fixed now...! so i guess thats solved.

You were logged in the web site with your Streamlabs ID. When dealing with Cloudbot, you need to switch over to be logged in with the actual platform, in your case Twitch. Click your PFP in the upper right, click were it shows your Streamlabs ID, and then choose Twitch. Then enable Cloudbot. Sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep

Then its probably an issue with Kick itself. They are still building that platform and at times, it doesn't work as expected. You might hop over to the Kick Discord https://discord.gg/kick and see if they have any suggestions. My only other suggestion would be to reset your stream key on Kick, which you have already done.

For Streamlabels, you'd have to download the seperate Streamlabels application and log in with your Facebook.

Once you've got Streamlabels installed and logged in, you can complete the overlays with Text Sources using the Local File option. Just navigate to the folder where you store your labels and choose the appropiate file.

If the issue continues, please screen shot the error message; if the error message has Show details, click that before taking the screen shot.

@sacred pewter try other means of sending audio between PCs, such as the obs-ndi plugin;
on both PCs, install the ndi runtime, then either the obs-ndi plugin for obs-studio, or streamlabs desktop (only on the recipient), you should then see "ndi(tm) source" in the sources dock;

on the sending PC, use capture an audio source you wish to send using obs-studio, then add a new "dedicated ndi output" filter, write a name for it (important), then on the receiving pc, add a ndi source and choose which audio source to capture; this will add some latency, but should be lossless at least, and no artifacts unless you have severe cpu overload on the sender

you can also use vb-audio vban, but it's rather difficult to set up and operate

I am logged in with YouTube. I clicked on the error message and it jus told me to check that I'd waited 24 hours to be able to stream... which I have. My account is verified and I've been streaming to YouTube earlier this week using the YouTube app

That's a known issue with android users and logging in with YouTube Setup your Streamlabs ID here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/slIDSettingsPage then sign in with a Streamlabs ID and you should then be able to go live.

hey everyone; so i've been using SLOBS for a little over 2 years now and have never had this issue before, but as of a few days ago, after a few hours of streaming, SLOBS starts dropping frames to the point where my stream lags minutes behind, rendering any and all streaming from that point onward completely useless unless i shut down and restart SLOBS; any ideas on what might be causing this and/or what i should do?

i think it's natural to type out what your thought process is if you log in with YouTube on streamlabs.com and go to settings you should see what streamlabs id it is connected to though

Yeah you would need to relog in the mobile app for it to seem like it's "gone". but you can log into streamlabs with YouTube instead of Streamlabs ID. try an incognito mode browser to do that

I would suggest trying to do the stuff under the dropped frames section here: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/dropped-frames-cpugpu-issues-and-improving-stream-quality I know that you may think that it's not your network, but when we talk about network issues we're talking more about how your computer is communicating out. So it could be something local, it could be a streamlabs setting (like dynamic bitrate being wonky or something), but normally the troubleshooting that you're doing with techs isn't actually related to the software but to your network provider.

👋 I'm hoping someone can help me with Streamlabs audio setup please. I'm making the switch to SLOBS from OBS... I use a Focusright 2i2 with two microphones (one each for two different people). The PC only recognizes it as one input...in OBS you add the input twice, then pan one left and one right (and mix down to Mono) and it will isolate each mic separately. What's the way to do this in SLOBS? Google and Reddit have been no help. Thanks in advance!

The best way would be to add a dock using the Widget URl for our Chatbox Widget: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/chatbox

Note that since we currently don't have any integration with Kick, chat from Kick would have to be viewed in a separate dock, but, docks from Kick do cause OBS Studio to crash so I'd just open your Kick chat in a seperate web browser.

Maybe the Advanced Audio Settings is what you are looking for? 🤞 Click the ⚙️ icon in the Mixer and choose Properties.

You can set your audio devices at Settings ⚙️ > Audio.

For the Mini Feed not updating:

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

Don't skip the log out steps! To log out of the Streamlabs web site, click your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out. See the image below on how to log out in Streamlabs Desktop.

For the Alerts not appearing while live:

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting. Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. You can't sorry about that. You'd have to use the lowest common denominator which is Twitch, giving you a maximum bitrate of 6000 if you're not a Twitch Partner or 8000 if you are a Twitch Partner.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Okay, hang on and don't make any changes to anything in your Streamlabs account.

Please quit Streamlabs Desktop, go to the Streamlabs web site, download a fresh installer, and run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer and then reboot your PC. Once the PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and try again. Let me know how it goes.

No, you won't lose any data. Scenes and sources are saved in the cloud and reinstalling doesn't over write the other settings.

its connected with an usb 2 cable, at least thats what the software is detecting. Ive been using that headset for a year now, never had an issue like this before.

Try a different USB port or swap out the cable if you can. And make sure its plugged into the back of the PC and not into a USB Hub.
