My streamlabs hasn’t worked in over a week, when I first started having the issue it was just stuck in the loading screen. Now after uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and deleting every single file related to streamlabs and updating everything on my PC when I get to the login page and I log in it just gets stuck on the loading screen but with the log in options buffering..

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
2. Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
3. Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

The problem is the Stramlabs doesn't take the proper activity feed from twitch. Just the activity feed from 9 months ago. So basically anything new won't be noticed (follows, subscribes, donations) even the chat box in the chatting scene won't work. So basically even if streamlabs and twitch are linked and merged streamlabs uses data from 9 months ago.

Did you follow the steps I posted? I can’t troubleshoot right now as I have to get ready to go to work. If you follow the disconnect service guide and then reloaded your widgets, you’ll need a new event like a fresh new follow.

Hi folks, I just got Ultra and tried a dual Twitch+YouTube stream (so far I only streamed on Twitch).

While most things worked, YouTube comments didn't show up at all, neither in the Multistream pane, nor in my screen - while Twitch comments worked normally.

I both tried to write comments from my own account using my phone, and to use another laptop with a completely different account.

Does anyone have any idea about this?

Hi all! I've used Streamlabs a whole bunch of times for years now, but upon setting up a new account on Twitch I only have the option of Donation & Merch for the Alert Box.

If you've logged in the Streamlabs web site with your Streamlabs ID, this happens. Please switch over to your Twitch by clicking your PFP in the upper right and then click where it shows Streamlabs then choose Twitch. Then you will see all the applicable Twitch alerts.

In Streamlabs Desktop, make sure you are logged in with your Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo. Then go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP -> and select the IP address of your computer in the drop down menu, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. Then click Done to save the settings. Then see if the issue persists.

I stream on Twitch. I am also trying to record for YouTube but even when on Twitch I have seen other people with the same settings as mine getting crystal clear quality when doing these movement tasks as well. I have made sure my GPU, CPU, and Internet speeds (upload and download) are sufficient for what I am trying to do and have been told I am way more then sufficient enough to do this but still get the fuzziness.

About the only thing you can do if your bitrate is at 6000, is to reduce your Output Resolution to 1280x720.

1080p doesn't leave a lot of free bandwidth with which the encoder can make good use of the available bitrate. Reducing to 720p give the encoder more resources by reducing its work load.

Make sure the Audio Monitoring device is properly set. If it’s set, then change the Audio Monitoring device to something else, save the settings, then go back and settings it to the correct device.

tried changing the monitoring device from default into something else random, then closing obs, reopening it

then changing it back - they're still not playing audio

when you control the alertbox source via obs there is no volume bar there (idk if that has an effect)

it was working before but when this person logged back into the website it asked to accept terms and then the source stopped working (they hadn't streamed for a while)

The GoPro doesn’t have that capability when used via an iPad. GoPro provides software to make a GoPro be a web cam but they don’t have that software for iPadOS.

Okay, weird. Please quit Streamlabs Desktop and reboot your PC. Then go to the Streamlabs web site and download a fresh installer. Then run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Stremalabs Desktop but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC again. Once it’s back up, try Streamlabs Desktop again.

Okay. Weird. Create a new Scene Collection; don’t just create a new Scene, then recreate this scene from scratch and see how it goes.

Only issue is you’d have to have the GoPro connected via USB. But if the app is only iOS or iPadOS based, then that’s another wrench in this setup.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Sorry if this has been asked about already, but I've had an ongoing issue with Cloudbot since I started using it several months ago where it will randomly stop displaying messaging as my chat bot, and turn back into being Streamlabs, which messes up some of the commands/timers. I've noticed it also tends to spam a bunch of timers one after the other when this happens, too. Anything I can do to stop this from happening?

hey guys, I have a problem with the loyalty system. for the past 3 weeks the system have been paying out points perfectly fine, 1 point every 10 mins to viewers and 2 points to active viewers, but yesterday, it just stopped paying out points.

Loyalty is still enabled, I disabled and waited 10 mins, then reenabled, did not fix the problem.
I changed payout interval and saved settings, did not fix the problem.
I am able to assign points manually to all viewers, temp solution for time being.
viewers are still able to redeem points for raffle tickets for the daily giveaway
Able to !give points ect.

We've been test and it seems that this doesn't function as expected any more. Proably due to changes at Twitch but no way to know for sure. Sorry about that!

In the CSS editor on the Streamlabs website, if there is too much content, a bug may occur where scrolling down will cause the entire CSS editor to go blank. The only fix is to reload the page.

That's normal and you can't do anything about that. Its just a fact to streaming. You can try upping your bitrate to 10000 or 11000 but I wouldn't go much higher.

I need help so bad... So my SSD died 2 days ago. Before that, my stream worked perfectly using these settings. I had ZERO problems. Now, I have a new SSD hooked up and had to reinstall streamlabs obs. It now DROPS frames like crazy. I try lowering my bitrate and the bitrate demand isn't met, I try lowering video output, and it doesn't do anything. Again, the settingings in these pictures WAS working perfectly fine 3 days ago. Now it doesn't. I used the dynamic bitrate setting and it makes my stream look terrible and drops the bitrate down to literally 500. My speed tests records an upload of 30mb and when I start my stream, the first 20 seconds or so is at the bitrate I have it set to (so like 6000 bitrate, it'll hover around the) then after that it'll start to tank down to like 2k then 1k then less than, then it'll jump up and back down. It will, but be aware that streaming that way doesn't go over the API connection between Streamlabs and YouTube so our widgets, like the Alert Box, Chatbox, Event List, etc, wouldn't function as expected as YouTube doesn't send events for Streamlabs when connect via the custom ingest.

It will get you streaming until your ticket is processed to swap the YT accounts.

Without more information, I can only guess that you probably have your Output Resolution set incorrectly or you logged in with your TikTok which automatically sets the Output Resolution in Portrait mode. If you're not logged in with TikTok, then go to Settings -> Video and swap the values in the Output Resolution. For example, if it reads 1440x2560, change it to 2560x1440. You might then need to right click on the capture source, choose Transform and then choose Fit to Screen.

There should be a link that says "Login" in the bottom left corner of your StreamLabs application window that will take you to a page where you can select the Twitch logo to go to open a browser window where you can login to Twitch. If you're not getting the browser window opening when you click the Twitch logo, then try changing your default browser. Google Chrome is working for me.

Make sure you’re creating a new Scene Collection. It sounds like you’re just working with one Scene Collection. And we would advise about copying files around in the installation folder as that can lead to corruption.

Ive put each of my audio inputs through the mixer so Im able to do things like running spotify while muting all other applications to go on 'BRB', however Im having an issue with it. Every time I restart streamlabs or my game of choice, the audio is no longer being picked up. Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Streamlabs Desktop only updates when its launched and never if you're live. Please check here to see if your Scene Collections are here.

If you don't see your Scene Collections there, please download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs web site and run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don't let it launc Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer and then reboot your PC and then check for your Scene Collections. Note that you may need to log in with your platform (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Trovo, or X).

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'll be streaming, and this issue randomly pops up. This is the first night it has ever happened to me. My internet is fine, with over 1200Mbps download. I just want to understand the root cause of this and how I can fix it as soon as possible.

If you are testing it using an unlisted or a private stream, the chat box wont update. IDK why but I was struggling with this for a long time too.

I did a normal stream and the chat was working normally.

Can you send a screenshot of your settings? The chatbox settings specifically. I know when I used SLOBS I had to make sure I left the "disable source when not visible" option because it kept messing everything up for me.

Also I just read on your original comment you disabled hardware accel. Is there a particular reason you did that? That usually breaks overlay things like Chat/event boxes

Yeah, is it enabled or disabled for you? If the check mark is there, turn it off. That might fix it.

apologies if that doesnt fix it for you. I am just running through what I remember doing when I had the same issue on SLOBS. I eventually got it fixed, but then I switched to OBS STudio instead.

The last thing I can suggest is to log out of your Youtube account on SLOBS, and log back in. If you are using a brand account, make sure to log in with the brand account. There might have been an issue connecting it so it doesnt know where to pull the chat from.

sounds like a connection issue. You might need to reject permissions to SLOBS from your Google account, and regive the permissions. That might be a last resort though. since it wipes just about everything

I googlde Teams and Streamlabs... and I am getting tips on sending my stream to Teams with a virtual camera. This is not what I want. I want to bring audio and video from Teams into Streamlabs.

Possible that you have the alert box sounds muted. Go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and look at the icons at the top right. If you see a red speaker icon with a slash through it, your alert box sounds are muted. Click that red speaker to unmute them.

I've just managed to troubleshoot this, as I was having exactly the same issue, and we also couldn't find a fix online.
The fix:
🚨 Make sure that your Twitch, Streamlabs and Xbox accounts use **the same email **and make sure you're logged into each one natively. i.e. login to Streamlabs using your Streamlabs ID - don't log in with Twitch.
🚨 You must also have an active subscription to Console (even if it's the trial)
Ensure they're all connected in the dashboards of each one correctly and then it worked fine and we got live 🎉

2. Not even sure how to ask this question, but let me try:

5120x1440 screen full screen gameplay (ArmA if you would like to know) - I only want to stream the center section (2560x1440) so I See the full screen in game, but the audience only sees the center portion

EXTRA CREDIT - I'd then like to step that stream window down to 1920x1080 (the math on the screen segment portion I believe is correct to just scale it down) so as to limit bandwidth of stream and to catch most people on what they view in their world.

The question is - How do I only stream a "portion of a screen" or a specific "bounding box" of a monitor?

PS - I have ULTRA so I should have all the tools to do that, I'm just a NOOB when it comes to this stuff at this time. Thanks in advance, I'll pay it forward in the future.

I've been doing alot of this recently. You can add video source... and transform using crop. You'll still see the original but the cropped version is what get's streamed.
