Us Volunteers don’t work those tickets as we don’t have access since we are not employees. If you look in your system tray, do you see you an anti virus program there like maybe Norton Antivirus?

Hi can you help me figure out why streamlabs keeps using the wrong stream title? Its really frustrating It keeps pulling the stream name from the previous stream instead of what I update it too. I tried logging out and restarting multiple times and hitting go live multiple times and its not fixing

Go to Settings > Advanced and turn off the option for enable browser source hardware acceleration.

What platform are you logged in Streamlabs with? You should have more test buttons than just Donation and Merch.
I would also make sure that you have Custom HTML/CSS disable and if you have any alert variations that show as Unknown, delete those variations.

Which is weird as you have no sound selected. Do you lot see this Blob image in the Preview window in OBS when you test this alert?
Can you try to follow these steps to clear your obs-browser-cache?
-Close OBS Studio
-Hit Windows key + R
-Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
-Delete the cache folder
-Start up OBS Studio again

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.
Yeah I did all of that. I even switched to OBS and it was even worse

Can you screen shot the results of the test? Again, dropped frames indicate an issue between you and the ingest; it’s not an issue with your settings. As such it can be fine one and broke the next since you have no control over how your packets travel to the ingest.
Weird. Currently at work sadly. But I know I did that with OBS and it barely worked

Try the test. If all the quality scores come up as zero, you’ll need to reach out to your ISP. If the ingest closest to you has a quality score lower than 84, choose the next closest ingest with a score of 84 or higher.
The Twitch Test will let us know that.

Definitely try the Twitch Test when you get home and have time. Select multiple ingest in your region and use the medium duration.

Hi so I’m trying to use my Mac with my elgato capture and no matter what I try it doesn’t show game audio bar or anyway for me to enable audio on it it just shows the volume bar line and when I get to properties only allows me to switch resolution

What exactly are you looking for?
You’d have to contact Botrix. If they’ve given you a URL for a browser source, there’s not much else we can do. If you take the URL and plug it in a web browser and trigger test alerts, can you hear and see them?
So I test the alert, and it gives off the sound through stream labs, and the gif. The gif will show up on the stream, but the sound wont

Streamlabs has no control over that. That’s something controlled by Twitch. What happens when you try to raid on Twitch?
No, doesn’t have to be checked. Some people do that and you need to then check the audio monitoring.

Im unable to configure alerts for new Twitch followers. The option doesn't appear. I'm logged into twitch and have successfully streamed. what am I doing wrong?
Morning peeps. Having some issues setting up my chat bot again. Just got a new computer and when trying to set up cheap labs chat bot on the new computer I can’t get the “YouTube bot” to be able to comment. Keep getting the caller does not have permition. And not had been logged in and that particular channel is set up as a mod on my channel

If you click your PFP in the upper right corner of the web page, does it show you logged in with Twitch?
You need to run the test on more ingests other than just the one. But given that result, I'd suggest selecting all the ingests in the Northeast and switching the duration to Medium and run the test again. Using the short duration seems nice as its shorter but it often gives misleading results.
I'd hop over to the Chatbot Discord for better visibility. The mods and regulars over there will be able to assist. Please post a screen shot of the error message you get so they can better assist. See the next post for an invite link.

actually it shows "streamlabs" then I selected twitch and it is working. I'm unable to go back now to take a screenshot to see what I was doing wrong.

You were probably logged in with your Streamlabs ID. If you're working on alerts or other widgets, log in with the specific platform rather than your Streamlabs ID and then use the PGP menu trick so quickly swap over to another platform if needed.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.
Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.
👉 Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if you’re live, end the stream first.

Oh, please don't clear the cache in Streamlabs Desktop unless directed to by a Streamlabs staff member. That can cause lots of other issues. Please follow my instructions above about the web site.

Thanks for the guide. However FYI I'd also like to point out that the event list also didn't update as well as the alert box, for the new followers.
Remember, this will not go back and capture events that were missed. Events are sent only once over the API and if they are not detected, they will never be sent again. Refreshing the connection works from that point forward. If you have finished the guide, please launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in with your Twitch and go to the scene with the Alert Box.
Still says the same exact thing it did before
I assume that is a quote. However I forgot to mention that the event list wasn't updating during the stream just like the alert box. So I haven't tried out the solutions yet.

Nope I didn't log out on Twitch site, I only logged out of streamlabs website and disconnected streamlabs from the Twitch as per the guide says.
Yes, that's fine. You don't need to log out at Twitch. The important part is to log out of Streamlabs web site, Streamlabs Desktop, and any other Streamlabs software.

Okay, please do this:
- Delete that video capture source and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
- Go to Windows Device Manager, locate the Camera device, right click on it, and choose Uninstall device.
- Unplug the camera from your system and reboot the PC.
- Once the PC is back up, plug in the camera and let Windows detect it and set it up.
- Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and then add the Video Capture Device source back.

What happens if you click the Configure Video button?
Click the Default button then click OK.

If that doesn't work, delete the Video Device Capture source and quit Streamlabs Desktop. Then move the camera to a different USB port and let Windows do its thing. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and add the source back.

You're welcome. I'm not sure why this is happening. Please right click on the Video Device Capture source, choose Filters, and then screen shot what you see there.
i did
now i have other problem. So when i stream Cs2, i only captures like 1/4 of screen and my cs2 resolution is stretched to 4:3. how do i make it full screen?
Right click on that capture source, choose Transform, then Fit to Screen. You might then want to make sure the Video Device Capture source is at the top of the source list. Otherwise it will be 'hidden' underneath the other capture source.

You have a Display Capture and a Screen Capture. You only need one.

And then I'd move the capture source out of that folder since that folder seems to be for your overlay.

Settings > Video: What do you have the Output Resolution set to? The Base Resolution should be set to what ever resolution your monitor is set.
my cs2 resolution is 1280-1024, but my monitor is 1980x1080

hello I need help. I can't seem to get my mini feed to update. I have recently been getting more followers in my past few streams, but it still doesn't update in my mini feed. Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch should help.
To Disconnect Your Twitch Account:
Log out of Streamlabs.com and Streamlabs Desktop as well as any other apps such as Streamlabs Chatbot, Streamlabs Mobile, Streamlabs Console or Streamlabels
Log into your Twitch account and go to https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
Scroll down to "Other connections" at the bottom and you will find Streamlabs Console/Studio and click "Disconnect"
After clicking "disconnect" log back into Streamlabs Console with your Twitch then hit "authorize" when you've gone through the process
Once fully logged in, check to make sure the Streamlabs Console/Studio connection shows as "connected minutes ago": in Other Connections

nothing is happening in the program, everything is fine, there is just no stream displayed on twitch XD and there is a broadcast in the program as usual

If it comes up again... I deleted and reinstalled the app before your response came, which happened to work. But admittedly there was more than just one bug that occurred... apologies, this picture is taken off of Twitch stream manager.
It's been a bit of a mess and idk if it's just my lack of knowledge or something funky.
What are those sources? It appears they are browser sources and for what ever reason, the domain name in the URL could not be resolved. I would get the domain name from the URL, for example www.domainname.com, then go to a command prompt and enter the command nslookup www.domainname.com and make sure it resolves to an IP address.
That's the thing, I have absolutely no idea what those sources are...
Click on each source until the one highlights that match one of those positions. Then double click on it to get the properties.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream
- In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
- In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
- In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)
If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.
- You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```
Still didn't fix it, have all my resolutions at 16:9. Still have blacks bars.
Hey. I just realized that my follows have not been registering in Streamlabs for several months. I can see them in my event list on Twitch however and they also do not pop up in my Alert Box. When I try out the "Test follow" however, it works. Anyone knows what this could be?

when you click the twitch logo to login it just does an ultra fast hard refresh of the 'screen' and nothing more.

@wet steeple i don't see any invalid settings, so the next troubleshooting step would require you to either know how to fetch and post logs from streamlabs desktop, or to run obs-studio and try using nvenc with it, then post obs-studio's logs if it fails there too

I don't see that you're logged in with your Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo.
There's no ads in Streamlabs Desktop. But if you've been using whilst not logged in, I would click the down arrow in the Scene Selector panel and see if you're Scene Collection is there.
Unsubscribe from the list then. You can manage Streamlabs email settings on the Dashboard.
The Notifications there are bring attention to new features that might improve your workflow or offer new ways to make and publish content.
But to each their own.

Having issues logging in/the login button is unresponsive?
Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
- Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop
- Change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox. (Screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/48ZdLCQCgi8D)
- Once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

im getting 100% on my cpu started today when I launch stream labs obs. I haven't changed any settings from the previous days. I have my output encoder set to NVIDIA NVENC H.264 new
Apparently this was recently changed and you need to be logged in to see the Studio Mode button. The staff have given feedback that this change in behavior is not ideal so hopefully it may be reversed; I don't have any further information on that.
When you log in, you can go to Settings -> Appearance in Streamlabs Desktop and uncheck Show announcements for new Streamlabs features and products and on the Streamlabs web site, you can uncheck both email settings https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/emails.
It is a product and maybe people want to know? lots of things are enabled by default and you can just turn them off. at least you can turn it off 🤷♂️

This could be a sign that there might be a corrupted scene or source. I would create a new Scene Collection (not a new Scene), and in that new Scene Collection, add just Game Capture, and monitor the CPU usage. If it is back to what you expect, then I would manually rebuild your scenes and sources in this new Scene Collection whilst montoring your CPU usage.

rtmp live video is a very different workload from a http/s connection, and internet issues can be intermittent
run twitchtest, try all servers physically close to you, then manually choose any server with 100 "quality" in sld, anything less than 100 is ill-advised (unless your advertised upload speed is less than 10 Mbps)

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

twitchtest's evaluation of connection "quality" is a percentage of not-dropped frames at ~10 Mbps, i think
thus, 100 is a "perfect" connection
Probably trying to troubleshoot from here someone who doesn't get a 100 would be a vast undertaking. And its not really a Streamlabs issue.

youtube keeps subscriptions private by default, this is a setting for the subscriber, not for you
i mean the subscirber who paid monthly 1 dollar or something...
Its possible YouTube Channel Memberships are also kept private due to this setting https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy. It would be up to the viewer to toggle this setting before becoming a channel member.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

So I would be able to stream on both YouTube, X and TikTok at the same time. Would I also be able to see both chats within Streamlabs or would I have to open the chat in separate browsers?
YouTube, yes. Twitter, yes, but the viewer and streamer have to have Blue subscription (or whatever it’s called these days) in order to chat; his is due to limitations on X, not Streamlabs. TikTok, we don’t have any chat integration so you have to you a web browser.
Got it….X recently released “everyone” chat. Is that not integrated within Streamlabs at the moment? I currently stream via X and have that option. Streamer required for blue sub to stream is accurate though

I’m struggling to get the video capture device to work and am wondering if its a computer or connection issue, I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I’ve checked out numerous help articles and am not finding anything that works (I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, if it is I apologize)
It’s not plugged in TOTALLY wrong as it did show up on my computer on OBS Studio once and if I switch from my TV to the computer the game DOES show up, its just that streamlabs isn’t recording it
No need to uninstall or reinstall.
Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

You would need to ask TikTok. They alone control the process of approval of stream keys. Streamlabs has no input of any kind in this process.

If they didn’t grant you a stream key, you won’t be able to go live on TikTok through Streamlabs Desktop or Streamlabs Mobile.

When I try to edit widgets it just gives me a pop up of advanced audio settings
I have no clue why it does it, Im watching a tutorial right now and they get a completely different pop up even though I just installed streamlabs so nothing should be dodgy

The staff aren’t available at the moment. Please log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs website and run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation; no need to uninstall first. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather quit the installer, reboot your PC, and the once the PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log back in and see if this issue is still there.

Hi all, My streamlabs desktop updated to 1.15.1 yesterday and since then I have an issue: I have a scene with multiple media file (video) sources. the way it used to work in studio mode is when I turned on a single video and then transition it would start the video. since the update it starts the video immediately (without sound) so it will display on my scene projector on my 3rd screen. how can I turn that off again?

I have a whole podcast rig that has worked for years, until this year, my desktop app just crashed because of some issue, I was trying to rest the recoring of the sound and it just crashed. It's not recognizing my Audio Interface when it always has. And before I wentt to test the sound settng it said that I needed to remover o0 my ransonware settings. I have, what might be an out of left field question. I'd really like to have my starting screen have all of my clips on twitch play when I go live. Is there a way, other than downloading every clip and putting into a playlist and randomizing which clip is playing, to have the software reference my clips page and play them either in order or randomly?

i think what happened, is i moved a file, corrupted it, moved it back, basically taking up more space, then all the games downloaded files were erased, which could very well mean i lost the data files too
im setting up a seasonal overlay with obs and added the credits widget. i noticed that if i size it to canvas in the properties, it does not size up properly and increases the height so part of its off screen. is there a best max resolution scale?

So I'd go live on Streamlabs OBS after I'd logged in via Twitch - but then it wouldn't actually put me live on Twitch itself. I'd tried logging out and logging back in etc. but it wouldn't go further from there. It was working the night before no worries so I wondered whether it was this that had an effect

Your default browser in Windows is causing issues with logging into Streamlabs Desktop. The login popup relies on the default browser set in Windows, so you won't be able to log in if it's blocked. Follow these steps to fix it:
- Press the Windows key on your keyboard or go bottom left and click the Windows logo.
- Search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Find the default apps section and close Streamlabs Desktop

Then it's not actually your credit card. it's your bank account. if you didn't swap bank accounts, then you don't need to do anything
so, for example:
old debit card to new debit card = no changes
bank of america account to wells fargo account = you need to change
i need to swap to another bank account, thats the deal :P, im gonna change it to my sisters bank number instead

"monitor and output" has a sanity check and will mute audio if it would result in an echo, "monitor only" will definitely not play any fades, "monitor off" definitely will

i never had to, since at a basic level, sld has about 80% feature parity with obs-studio, and i learned obs-studio with their kb articles, does sld have an equivalent of this?
Click the + in the Source Selector, choose Browser Source and give it name. Then go to a Widget page, like the Alert Box https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and copy the Widget URL. Then paste that URL in the properties for the browser source.
It’s easier to use the built in Widgets but that’s the issue this person has. He cannot interact with the Widget properties for some reason.

My friend, sometimes such problems can happen. Twitch took money from me even though I terminated my subscription, I sent them a ticket and explained the situation, they refunded my money. You can be a little optimistic and submit a ticket and wait for a call back.

Hey guys. I have a friend who is having issues streaming Call of Duty. We've been through the settings and set them all to low but it still causes his stream to be an image with sound as soon as he gets into a game/frame drops.
His PC VRAM usage is at about 1/4 of what the game has by default for his PC settings (low/medium settings).
We changed his bitrate to match his internet connection, it's using the Nvidia NVENC encoder and set to "Quality" and "High".
Any ideas what else we can try on Streamlabs?

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

For Cloudbot? Sadly there is not a button for that. You’d have to manually edit each user in the loyalty system.

This is for people to get help from each other. they ahve a ticket link in the #support-info channel taht you can use to get help from someone that works at Streamlabs
but if you contacted support 12 days ago, i would say to resubmit a ticket and make sure to not click on any of the articles. someone else in here i think yesterday did that
so make a new ticket to wait untill 2024?
they don't typically take that long, so most likely you pressed an article > said it was good > it closed it

quite while back i was getting droped frame rates an disconnects an some one from streamlabs crew had me do a internet speed test to see what the upload speed was since my internet speed was out runing my wireless router an it was 11 years old she recommned me getting a new wireless router an come back an do another internet speed test for upload. i got a new wireless router.
did you run a new test to see if you're getting what you pay for?

yeah you just can google "speed test" and you can run one from there or one of the websites it reccomends
it has that setting in there to do that

upload to that link says 1.27 but when i do it in the wireless router it says 24.3 upload
do you have any firewall/antivirus running?
norton an windows firewall
so it could be norton being wonky. I would try turning that off (keep windows firewall running) and try it again

I’m trying to change the connected YouTube and FB account for multi streaming but I can’t find the option to do that.
it may not be the router, but the speed tests online should show similarly to what your router is
so idk what is causing that to happen. you can try something like fast.com to see if it is the same or not and wha tnot
What exactly are you wanting to accomplish? Switch YouTube and Facebook channels in your Streamlabs account?

it's still very different from your router so maybe you're running something on your computer like an optimization software, etc. so trying to make sure that all that stuff is turned off is good because it can mess up some stuff
i just went to a differnt one google fiber an it showed upload 10.2
that's still not 24 though (like your router is showing)

I just tried using Streamlabs to livestream on TikTok. The image quality when streaming is very blurry. I have a powerful computer setup (i9) and a good network connection. The camera input is Sony A7R4 + ATEM Mini Pro. I'm using the regular, free version of Streamlabs. If I upgrade to the Ultra version, will there be any improvement or difference?

No, don’t create more accounts. If Facebook is the primary, you’ll need to submit a ticket to swap it out with another Facebook account. For YouTube, you can unmerge that then merge the desired channel. To submit a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I would switch out the non-Primary channels first before submitting the ticket.

Sounds are from streamlabs dashboard ( name = bits ) but i can't ear from dashboard or streamlabs desktop. I saw all my audio setting ( muted or not , output or not ecc... ) but i won't work. Make sure you set Streamlabs as a standard moderator and not a managing moderator. Also note that Cloudbot only works with Public streams.

Hi, any recommendations for a decent, cheap GPU and capture card for a separate streaming PC for 1080p60, source coming in via a gaming PC? Not sure I saw anything for this but curious to know if there is a fix or known issue or I'm completely missing the mark here. My alertbox on the desktop version allows options for all different alerts and to customize them. However, through Streamlabs website I'm limited only to Donations, Merch, or Twitch Charity Donations.
Are you logged in the web site with your Twitch?
Or did you log in with your Streamlabs ID?
Yup that was the problem. I was on my Streamlabs ID instead of Twitch. Makes sense now

Hey I got a question and I hope someone here can help! I use streamlabs console, and Im using the streamlabs dashboard alert box editor. I set up animations and the animations work but the sound doesn't go through with the alert. Does anyone know how to fix this or wht the issue could be?? I stream straight from my xbox to streamlabs console.

Hello everyone. My issue is that my alert box in SLOBS in only working on test and not on actual stream as well as my mini feed in not refreshing since the last time I streamed (9 months ago). I have tried everything and still can't find a solution. Thank you in advance.
so my mic is being picked up by mic and desktop causing an echo even though I have them set separately to capture each source

Do you perhaps have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled? If so, disable that setting. Please go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and if you have Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay enabled, disabled it then click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. Also go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and make sure your alerts are not paused. For the Mini Feed no updating…
Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the platform will resolve this.

To log out of the Streamlabs web site, click your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out. See the image below on how to log out in Streamlabs Desktop.
👉 NOTE: This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification.
