Sorry, no, its not capable of that either. Streaming from the console doesn't offer the same processing capability and capacity that you can get from a PC or a Mac.

By the way MacOS is designed, Game Overlay isn't available in Streamlabs Desktop for MacOS.

No. With Twitch, chat is always active. So if you launch Streamlabs Desktop and go to the scene with the Chatbox Widget and then type in your Twitch chat, you should see it in the preview.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

hi there. after a long hiatus I am back to streaming. all my old settings were still ok, but after today's stream I realized that my activity feed from twitch did not sync with the mini feed from SLOBS, so I missed all new followers and subs. I googled a lot, checked some videos about it. Cleared cache, did all new settings, but the sync does not work. Slobs mini feed lines are 2+ years old and don't update. Any tipps?

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Facebook is a good troubleshooting step. Please follow the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account

Remember log out means log out, just don't quit Streamlabs Desktop (see the next post on how to log out/log in). Also log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out.

Once you've completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Facebook to re-establish the connection. Then go here and select the Facebook Page you want to use https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/facebookpages.

Finally, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log back in there and you should be able to go live.

That won't recover events that were missed. Events are sent over the API only once. I can follow you as a test if you like.

No, you don't need to be live. Please launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch and then go to the scene with your Alert Box. I can then follow and you should see the alert in the preview window and the Mini Feed should update.

well, maybe this could be it? we are a newbie ourselves, but maybe try this: when you open streamlabs, go to editor, like exactly the place you posted a pic of earlier, then try to add scenes/ sources in the bottom left corner, and after that (if it works) there should be a symbol, which looks like a signal sending thing, but there is an arrow which points to the left on top - this is selective recording. if this did not work, try either moving the "line" you have in the middle of the screen, or go look on the right side, where your mini-feed is, and try to make that smaller, in the hope of getting to the source thing, where you can enable selective recordings. sorry if we are no big help!

Since the recent update, a green Chroma Key filter appears to be applied to the video and screen capture. I cannot see the filter and cannot remove it. Note in the pic that the green is showing black on the main window, but I can see the green in the filter window without issue.

There is not. End of life support by Microsoft for 8.1 was in January 2023. Streamlabs Desktop will only support Windows versions that are still being currently maintained. This is due to a large variety of reasons, so if the current update doesn't work, then you would either need to update to Windows 10, or find another streaming solution.

I'm sorry that it boils down to that, but that is unfortunately the situation that you are in.

• If StreamLabs is focussed, both it and the game work smoothly.
• If the game is focussed, they both slow down horribly.

Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Facebook is a good troubleshooting step. Please follow the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account

Remember log out means log out, just don't quit Streamlabs Desktop (see the next post on how to log out/log in). Also log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right corner of the web site and choose Log out.

Once you've completed the guide, go back to the Streamlabs web site and log in with your Facebook to re-establish the connection. Then go here and select the Facebook Page you want to use https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/facebookpages.

Finally, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log back in there and you should be able to go live.

@grave ivy Also note that the Account Privacy setting on YouTube does affect how subscription alerts are detected. This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

Okay then make sure the audio monitoring device is set to the device you want to hear the alerts with. If it’s already set to the device you want, change it to another device and then back to the correct device.

Closed as in toggled off? If toggled off then their subscriptions are public. If they were already subscribers to your channel and unsubscribed and resubscribed, that will not trigger an alert. That’s done to prevent spamming of alerts.

bummer it looks like CBR support for M1 Mac's is only in OBS 29 and higher. I'm seeing a lot of drops in frames in StreamLabs on the Mac, but when I test with OBS 30 I don't see the frame drops. https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/pull/6668. I like Streamlabs because of background music, but really the video quality for me is pretty terrible. I'm guessing something was fixed between 29 and 30. Trying to figure that out.

Ok so i have an issue that popped up in the last 2 days. Previous to this i have streamed for hundred of hours with no dropped frames or connections. The last 2 days, at completely random times, my stream will drop massive amounts of frames and then disconnect. It always reconnects automatically, and repeat. its now at a point where its constant and i cant actually stream for 5 minutes without this happening.

Could this be related to a bug that i am using to stream to 2 platforms in horizontal? I didnt even try to do it, it just happened. I was trying to stream vertical to a second platform, couldnt figure it out, so disabled it but i am still able to stream to 2 platforms both in horizontal.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

go to settings > audio and disable your audio stuff, then close Streamlabs Desktop > right click the program > run it as admin > re-enable your sources. Then you should be able to click the gear and see options (probably just isn't recognizing your audio devices)

That's weird. I would say to check your audio hz in Streamlabs Desktop by going to settings > audio > sample rate. Make sure that it says 48khz (that's what windows typically has).

Then close Streamlabs Desktop and run it as administrator (right click > run as admin). Then see if you're still getting the crackling

I submitted a ticket but they just gave me some articles that didn’t help. I uninstalled the app, disconnected my twitch and all and it still is live. The streamlabs console says “offline” even when restarting the stream back up to see if I can turn it on then off again.

So i would make sure that if you have multiple accounts connected (since i see you have twitch/youtube in your profile) that on Streamlabs.com that you're logged into the correct profile. then make adjustments to your follower goal there. Then if it shows up on your recent events list/minifeed it would update. if it doesn't, then the goal wouldn't update

for youtube you would want the youtube subscriber goal. and then if the people don't have their privacy stuff enabled for it to be seen, then it won't show up

Basically, YouTube users who subscribe to you can have their privacy settings set to not notify you that they have subscribed to you. You would see your sub count increase but you will not be alerted that someone has subscribed to you/it wouldn't show up in your minifeed.

Hello guys, I went affiliate on twitch the other day and since then Streamlabs Desktop has stopped receiving my follows on the mini-feed (Subs, Raids, Donos still appear) this is a problem as obviously it means my follow alerts are not showing up but all the others are.

I've tried signing off from both stream labs desktop and streamlabs on browser, disconnecting from twitch, deleting cache then reconnecting everything and logging back in but the problem persists, EVERYTHING apart from follows are being recieved by my streamlabs desktop

I know the alert widget is working fine as when I "test follow" I see it as I should on OBS, does anyone have any info or a fix for this would highly appreciate it ❤️

Yes, with no integration, there is no capacity for alerts on Kick.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Problem: Streamlabs does not display all windows when trying to select source for windows capture.
OS: macOS 14.1 (Sonoma)
Streamlabs: v1.14

Steps to recreate:

1. I add all my sources and things working as exected. Scenes created and sources added. Multiple window capture sources are from Safari (each webapp opened in it's own instance... not tabs).
2. When all windows closed, I relanch Streamlabs and all my Safari instances. Streamlabs doesn't recognize them. I go to properties for the source and try to select the Safari browser instance for each and I dont see them.

I was using Spaces so each browser instnce could be opened full screen in a dedicated Space/desktop. I wasn't sure if this was the problem and I stopped using Space.

I then disabled profiles in Safari and this seems to resolve the issue... I can now find the windows in the source properties. I'm continuing to troubleshoot.

Is this a known problem?

Remove the ingration. Log out of the Streamlabs web site, and restart the web browser. Then, log out of Discord, restart Discord, and log back in. The log back in at the Streamlabs web site and perform the integration again.

It might take a few minutes for the system to get the roles assigned to you.

Hi, if anyone could help I'd appreciate it so much. I have 1 camera, logitech, & it's always worked - never had any problems. I've added a video capture device into streamlabs connected to my camera. I need to add a second one also connected to the camera but it does not work. I've tried duplicating the video capture device which works but the problem is that when I edit / add filters to it, it changes both of the 'video capture devices'. This ruins all my plans, I'm very stressed because I never suspected this would be a problem.

So you added the video capture source as a new source? Or so, go to the other source and tick the option Shutdown source when not active. That should allow the new source access to the camera.

I do not see the option: Shutdown source when not active. Do you mean 'Deactivate when not showing'?

have you used the firewall guide and made sure your firewall is open to Streamlabs?

This just causes the 'wreathcam' (that's the name of it) to deactivate automatically

One solution to disconnects and dropped frames is allowing Streamlabs Desktop through your Firewall and antivirus software.
