This is a common issue with Kick. Make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080 or less, that your bitrate does not exceed 8000, and that before you go live that you set the stream title and category on your Kick dashboard.

there can be a delay of a couple minutes of going live on Streamlabs and going live on kick and the reverse when going offline...there are youtube videos explaining it ... hope that helps. I stream on kick and the only time I didnt go live I had to update my stream key in streamlabs

Hi Rufus thanks for the reply. Yes when not streaming to twitch you dont have the option the check the box for twitch VOD but in audio settings apparantly you can set streaming to audio track 1 and anything you dont want recorded uncheck from audio track 2 on. Unless Kick just records all audio when using streamlabs.

Hi I am new to streaming but everytime I start streaming to twitch, I double check if the stream quality and audio quality is good, but then there is always audio looping and echoing on my just my mic audio not my desktop audio. BTW I have set all to monitor off as well as the "Listen to device" option but even then it is not working. I also muted twitch dashboard incase that was the problem but it still didnt work. Hi Im currently Having issues with the streamlabs controller. Everytime I log in all my sources have been copied at least 3 times. Ive tried deleting the sources and re adding them also tried deleting the scene my sources were in. Ive tried logging out logging back in and also uninstalling and re installing. I know you can rout music out of your past broadcast but I was wondering if it was possible to rout chat out of the past broadcast.

My chat loves to see what's being said on screen but it can get in the way when my editor is trying to make things look clean.

I also recently had to take a past broadcast down because someone said something really bad and of course my mods banned them but the nasty stuff was still on screen in my broadcast so it had to go. FeelsBadaMan

Selective Recording is useful if you're recording whilst streaming and don't want a particular source, like say the Chatbox, to appear in the recording. If you don't want certain audio to be heard on stream, you need to split your audio or if you're streaming to Twitch, use the Twitch VOD option. See the next two posts from the bot on those topics.

For an existing VOD, you'd have to download it, edit it, and upload it. Not fun.

Most commonly you would use Game Capture but some games can't be captured that like, like Roblox. If Game Capture doesn't work, then use Window Capture and then Display Capture. Remember though with Display Capture, what ever is on the monitor is shown on stream. Now if you're getting a black screen, see the next post.

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
• This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
• Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.

Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

Most likely that due to your bitrate being over 6000. While YouTube essentially has no limit, Twitch does. If you are just a regular Twitch channel or a Twitch Affiliate, your bitrate cannot exceed 6000. So lower your bitrate and your stream will appear on Twitch.

I'd make sure that you are logged in. Click the head icon in the lower left corner of Streamlabs Desktop and log out and then restart Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and log back in. To launch as administrator, right click on the short cut and choose Run as administrator.

Kick still hasn't released their public API so thus there is no integration in Streamlabs for Kick. 😉 See below on how to stream to Kick using Streamlabs Desktop.

Fair fair, alright so here is the deal, Baseline. my audio when streaming and in twitch vods set at 360p and below sounds absoutely horrible, anything higher, 480 p, 720, 1080. all is fine and sounds the same. This is with the audio track set to 7.1. Now when I switch to 5.1 for the audio track, the problem is gone regardless of the quality chosen. Which would be fine but I sound really muffled and not good. I have no idea what is causing the issue. I will link two streams so you can hear and see for yourself. Why is my voice and my friend's voice in discord fast forwarding and sounding grounded all of a sudden while streaming? Do you have another platform merged in your Streamlabs account? If so I would check each alert for every platform you have merged.

I think I found the issue. I had a second browser window open where I was also logged in to streamlabs. In one I had opended the settings for Twitch an in the other one the settings for YouTube. That seemed to interrupt with each other.

Pro Tip: If you click your PFP in the upper right corner of the Streamlabs website, you can “switch” over to any of the platforms you have merged in your Streamlabs account.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

check if your mic is plugged in correctly, unplug and plug in again
check if your mic in discord is not muted
check if your mic in windows isnt muted - system -> sound -> input (check if its the correct source and its volume)
check if you have the correct input source in discord - user settings -> voice and viceo -> input device (and test there if its working)

But if it’s that specific action in the game, there might be weird not optimized graphics there causing that. 3. You can place Streamlabs Desktop to run on your higher refresh rate monitor, but then you wouldn't be able to see it since your game/application is most likely also going to be running on that monitor.
4. If you have an Intel CPU - you can enable onboard graphics in your BIOS to allow your PC to be able to use both integrated graphics AND your GPU. then, you can plug your lower Hz monitor in to your Motherboard and keep your higher Hz monitor plugged in to your GPU and that would resolve it.  
5. You can buy another monitor to match your desired Hz.
6. You can reduce the higher Hz monitor down to the lower Hz monitor.```

What version of OBS Studio are you using?

If V28 and later, OBS Studio is packaged with the OBS Websocket V5.0 which is not compatible with Chatbot. You would need to install the V4.9.1-compat version.

If you're on a older version of OBS Studio, V27 or earlier, the included OBS Websocket should work with Chatbot; you shouldn't need to install the V4.9.1-compat version.

I've had to ditch the streamlabs Desktop OBS because of the resource issue and because its laggy. On Top of it I hate that you can only have one url open in the dock when OBS allows you to have way more. Plus the Aimtum Vertical Plugin doesn't work with Streamlabs OBS which is way better than Logitech StreamLabs new vertical output.

I had to do a full factory reset of my laptop about a month ago because I was having so many issues with Streamlabs. Then, for whatever reason, my BRB, Startin soon, and ending soon scenes kept popping up while I was streaming and So I got so ticked off, I deleted them in the middle of my stream the other day. I am in the process of recreating all of them and PRAYING TO GOD that they don't pop up again.

Click the down arrow to the top left of the Scene Selector panel. Then click Manage Scene Collections. From there you can create a new Scene Collection and you can switch amongst them by clicking on that same down arrow.

Hello! For some reason, I've been having issues with seeing chat on my stream.

I'm pretty sure I've got chatbox on the Live scene, but for some reason it doesn't appear on the livestream. For the viewers to see chat, they have to pull up the sidebar on Twitch. It doesn't appear on the stream itself like with the window capture, alertbox or webcam. Am I doing something wrong?

Look up Loopback audio. You can create virtual audio devices that can interface with OBS. I just have the default audio capture sources muted and use Loopback sources only.

Consistently whenever I come into streamlabs to stream something isn't working. Most often it is the chatbox.

I am using youtube for my streams and as is, cannot get the chatbox to display my youtube chat.

This is the chatbox widget I have, and it is supposed to have a black background. I have copied the popout chat link and looked for a browser source like every video suggests I do, but there is nothing labled as a browser source in the properties window

Looks like you’re using the Chatbox Widget. In that case, you need to manually put in a URL since it’s not a browser source. If chat sometimes doesn’t appear, that’s because of a long standing known issue that’s in YouTube’s end to fix: <#known-issues message>

And with YouTube, you have to be live with a Public stream. Private or Unlisted won’t allow the Chatbox to work.

I would also check this box as well.

Hey guys, I'm sorry to bother but every time I go live ever since updating my wifi modem my stream keeps disconnecting and attempting to reconnect. I manually selected my server after running the test and I still have the connection issues. I replaced my new modem today after getting the first replacement three days ago. I also tried streaming from my phone on the wifi and had zero connection issues

there are 3 problems missing in the article related to capture card issues that needs to be listed. one, sound duplication, the other one is the video not being in the correct color

color space, default, but the game is almost pitch black, have to use rec. 2100 to slightly make it look normal, still isnt the same look as the actual game though

sound duplication, the capture card name's audio is not listed in the output choices in streamlabs, but is visible in the volume mixer on windows sound settings, so if you choose default or the total sound you're playing from "headphones" then the sound from both the capture card, and the headphones being played back to you, will play in streamlabs

while you dont hear the sound dupe, if you play a test video in streamlabs, itll appear. the second dupe volume is lower, so if you pause the game its very noticable, and has a 2 second delay

color space. the default should always be the normal color, this other option makes the game slightly more colorful

the only fix for the dupe was to turn this off, but why is this even an option here? and it also doesnt display the sound volume in streamlabs itself

Fresh installs have down no good, deleting the app data folder did nothing, Getting this program to run consistently seems to have become an impossible task, there has to be some comprehensive answer to this.

You know what? You might actually be onto something. In the two recent instances I got it to work, it didn't recognize my capture card. I've also had issues lately with my camera in where it didn't get picked up by my USB hub. I've since had to directly plug it into my PC for it to get recognized.

Maybe it's time for an upgrade altogether on the cam, hard to say.

The only real things I have attached to my Stream aside from my layout is blerb for additional interactive soundbytes and and some various scene profiles.

with sld, there's not much to troubleshoot beyond "sld crashed and i don't know why"; sld doesn't produce logs like obs-studio does

If you find the hub isn't working you could have to much power being drawn from the hub causing the device to not start. Or it could be loading and going offline, which could also explain why your Streamlabs Desktop doesn't load as it tries to load the webcam but the hub is failing causing issues. Usually if Streamlabs doesn't open its a source blocking it from opening.

I think I just had too many things on it, honestly. Though, I've since rerouted all of my streaming hardware to the PC itself and only use this hub for small things; a desk lamp and phone charger, things like that.

Seems like drivers are using the most updated versions, but I could uninstall/reinstall.

So, I did this. I restarted after uninstalling/reinstalling devices and ensuring drivers are up to date with updates from their respective manufactures. Restarted, loaded up, absolutely great! Closed the program, ended tasks on manager, opened it up to see if it'd let me go back into it without taking forever and uhh.. that's exactly what it's doing

This has been an ongoing issue. I am noticing that when I manually click on a scene to change from say, Live to Be Right Back, it's taking FOREVER to switch to the next scene. It's happeneing on ALL of them. But only when I'm live. I've cleared the cache from my streamlabs and it hasn't helped. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

NOTE: Please don't suggest using hotkeys. a) It was happening then as well. B) I JUST deleted most of my scenes and re added them because I was having issue with the hot keys STILL being activated even though they had been deleted and there were NONE set up in the settings anymore.

Hello there. New here but have been using Streamlabs and a MBP to stream now for a couple years. I recently updated from MacOS12 to MacOS14. My capture card stopped working immediately, which I traced down to an issue that it did not have a modern system extension. Turning on legacy camera settings has resolved that. But now my last few streams since I updated I’m having major issues with high CPU usage and thus dropped frames. For a year or more I’ve not had those issues, and I’ve changed nothing on my output settings or video settings in streamlabs. Simply the macOS update. Looking at activity monitor the process name “obs64” was the highest CPU usage by far while streaming sitting in the 120-140% range but spiking well over 300% every couple mins, and at that point causing the dropped frames. Any suggestions on what I can try to do to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, made the move from YouTube to Twitch after years. Trying to merge my twitch to my streamlabs account and having issues. Does anybody know how to get Alerts to work with youtube? I It's set up and I have gotten multiple subs while live but no alert. The chatbox also doesn't work with youtube.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video and check the Output Resolution

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

Is it intended that Talk Studio somehow displays in Zoom or Zoom somehow displays in Talk Studio? Also, how does this work with streaming to other platforms, like YT for example? I did some testing & it never seemed like Zoom or Talk Studio were connected really.... like the chat from Zoom wasn't pulling into Talk Studio. I couldn't use my camera in Zoom because it was already connected to Talk Studio. I'm just very confused on how it's intended to work and which platform I should send people to, to participate in a training (Zoom, YouTube, Talk Studio).

This is a bug with the Android version.

Please go here on the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/slIDSettingsPage and setup your Streamlabs ID and then use your Streamlabs ID to log in. If you’re able, I’d suggest using a desktop computer or laptop to setup your Streamlabs ID.

Yeah, so use a desktop computer and log in with the platform you want to stream with (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo) then set up your Streamlans ID then use the Streamlabs ID to log in in the mobile app.

Hello. Im trying to fit my head around a issue I'm having. I'm new to VTubing. I'm currently using OBS and VSeeFace. I also have 2 more webcams. One for my pet cam and the other for my personal web cam for streaming. So I have 3 total. I just bought a new one thinking that one would be for the VTuber avatar capture specifically. Whenever I'm in OBS and open up VSeeFace I get a error that my webcam capture is already being used. But its not really. I have all 3 captures set up to do different things. Just the program dosnt reconize this. Now Ive ran into this issue and my idea is out the window. When I'm not VTube streaming and using my main wecam to show me and my pet cam it works fine. Its just not agreeing w/ my current VTuber program. How can I work around this for how I want it to work? I was hoping to be live VTube Streaming. Switch to my pet cam (Cam 2) and if someone does a Beanboozled redeem I can switch to my irl cam (Cam 1) for a face reaction. then swap back to my VTuber.

UPDATE ON THE "Mini Feed isnt working": Finally started working again last night after I "Deleted Cache & restart" in support settings (FYI doing this will reset your streamlabs settings but NOT your scene collections if you have it saved on cloud). I also uninstalled/reinstalled Streamlabs OBS. But the Streamlabs Chatbot is still not showing/notifying chat of new activity so ill probably uninstall/reinstall that too.
