Do you have another platform, like YouTube, merged in your Streamlabs account? If so, log out, quit Streamlabs Desktop, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log in with your YouTube, wait a few minutes, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a few minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log out, and then log in with your Twitch. I'd also double check that Audio Monitoring Device, it doesn't seem like the right one.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Hi, I am looking for a tool that would help me manage/update multiple local .txt files at once to incorporate into my streaming.

I have multiple text fields that would be updated during a stream where I currently Right Click > Properties > Update the text > Done for each field. Ideally there would be one application/script/something where I could update each of the fields, then push a button and have the .txt files be updated.

Does anyone know of something that already exists for this purpose?

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
• This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
• Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.

Log in to the Streamlabs web site with one of them, say Twitch, and set up your alerts. Then to work on your alerts for YouTube, click your PFP in the upper right, click where it says Twitch, and choose YouTube. 😉

I have had constant streaming disconnection issues and have tried to reach out to kick streaming for weeks and the only thing I get is generic ass emails! EVERYTIME I stream I get disconnected atleast 3/4 times!! I have tried calling my ISP, switching the router, switching Ethernet cords, testing my internet, restored my PC 2 times bought a gpu did bios on my PC and nothing is helping.. it happens at random ass times and while im streaming streamlabs or even obs is the only apps that ever have internet disconnection issues.. anyone that can help me out i would really appreciate

This is a common issue with Kick. Make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080 or less, that your bitrate does not exceed 8000, and that before you go live that you set the stream title and category on your Kick dashboard.

I’ve seen this often and besides the three points I gave you above, there nothing you can do to resolve it. When you chose the category on Kick, did the site find a match for what you typed or not? If it didn’t find an exact match, they might be the problem.

Possible that you have the alert box sounds muted. Go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and look at the icons at the top right. If you see a red speaker icon with a slash through it, your alert box sounds are muted. Click that red speaker to unmute them.

Ah, that’s not the Streamlabs Alert Box. You’re using something from Twitch. You would need to check the configuration of that on Twitch. That doesn’t use any of the setting on the Streamlabs Alert Box.

Yes. To fix this, log out of Streamlabs Desktop and the Streamlabs web site on every device you access the web site. The log back in in Streamlabs Desktop with your new Twitch name.

What resolution was the video recorded? You can check by right clicking on the file in Windows and choose Properties. Then check the tabs to find the details.

I have reset your connection for Twitch events. For the reset to finalize, please do the following steps:

Log into streamlabs.com with your Twitch account.
Go to https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
Click the Launch button beside your Widget URL.
Leave the launched window open for a minimum of 3 minutes.
Your next follow, sub, or bit should be captured going forward.

These steps will not restore missed events but will refresh the connection to capture new ones.

I would be happy to give your Twitch a follow to confirm it is working after those steps. Let me know when you have finished.

Check that your bitrate isn’t over 6000. If it is, you’ll need to end your stream, lower your bitrate to 6000, and go live again.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

If you want to crop the image (which is extremely wide angle, things next to the camera are almost visible) you still need software, and then you have to be creative as there is nothing ready for the camera. (Other than that, Discord messes with the camera if you don't run it via OBS. But that's not the camera's fault.) If in some program I try, e.g. turn the camera off or on, change the aspect ratio or switch to another video source, and the camera (and sometimes the program that uses the camera) hangs, which means I have to physically plug the camera back in to bring it back to life. The image quality itself (with the right amount of sharpening, which CANNOT BE DONE WITHOUT SOFTWARE) is perfectly capable. To the picture, most things look washed out and skin tones look flat. The stand that comes with it is nice and works well, the mounts are sufficient and the cord is not so heavy that the camera tips backwards when it is on the screen.

I've set up a follower goal bar on streamlabs.com and added an URL source to my OBS scene. The thing is that it does not update when I get a new followers. Did i miss any settings? Do i need to proceed differently?

Guess im not able to make a real bug report so ill put it here. I updated my gpu drivers and now every time i open streamlabs it gets stuck in an infinite loading screen and it locks up my computer screen. The literal only solution i have seen to this bug that has seemingly been around since 2018 is to completely delete all my files and re add them deleting hours of pain staking work spent setting up my OBS is there anything else to be done? Deleting everything is not a real or acceptable solution.

That should be good. If you cannot connect to with ethernet cord that's better than wifi. The first thing ISP will have you do is reset router and reset modem. So unplug those, wait a bit, plug back in.

Are you currently live? You need to be offline for this to be effective. Also you might try logging out of Twitch, clear the cache in your web browser, relaunch the web browser- don’t just open a new tab or window, and finally try the disconnect again.

I’m guessing you have only one monitor and are using the Game Overlay? The only solution for that is to use a mobile phone or tablet to tack you chat.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Ahh okay, I am currently using SLOBS to stream (and have done for the last 4 years) and I haven't really encountered a problem until recently.

I am trying to expand my audience by streaming on multiple platforms by using both SLOBS and TikTok LIVE Studio. This is causing a lot of frame drops and a laggy stream. Mostly on AAA games is where this issue occurs, although on some other games it seems to run fine.

Am I using double the resources form doing this? Is this is what's causing the frame drops?

I was trying to play 'Fears to Fathom' earlier which is a indie horror game on steam (for my Halloween special stream) but my frames were dropping drastically even in the main menu. Even by lowing my settings to compensate the load on my GPU it still didn't have an effect on my stream and it was still lagging super hard. Have you tried 30 fps and using Integer FPS values? As for output I left mine on Simple output so I don't know what to work with on the advanced. Personally for Bitrate I use 8000+ since I stream at 1440.

Streamlabs is giving me a weird green screen on occasion that i cant find a way around. restarting my desktop fixed it before but its not working now. my capturecard and camera feed are both showing as blank green screens. this isnt due to my settings or setup because i was just live on kick about 20 mins ago and everything was fine. how do i go about fixing this? or should i switch to OBS?

Delete the Video Capture sources, wait a minute or two, restart Streamlabs Desktop (making sure to launch it as administrator), and add the Video Capture sources back. Make sure the devices aren't being used in any other application.

Yes, Twitch VOD option isn't available when multistreaming, sorry. The Twitch VOD option is only available when streaming only to Twitch. Only Twitch has the support for it. The multistreaming servers belong to Streamlabs and not Twitch.

Try this for your camera source:

1. Remove the Video Capture source, log out of Streamlabs Desktop, and quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Using Device Manager, remove the camera devicethen shutdown your PC and unplug the camera from the PC.
3. Boot your PC and then after its up, plug the camera back into the PC and let it be detected and setup.
4. Wait a minute or two then launch Streamlans Desktop and log back in. Wait another minute or so.
5. Add the Video Capture source back.

Okay, keep working with the team on the ticket. But I would at least try one of the other ingests with a score over 84 by using the custom destination and see how your next stream goes. Generally if you're working with the team via a ticket, they prefer you to keep working with them rather than us since we here can't see those ticket and don't want to interfere in their troubleshooting process.

Go to settings -> Stream -> "Use custom ingest" -> Select Twitch as the service then check your output options again.

Streamlabs Console is a paid subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

@vagrant compass if it's a specific file that is consistently being served corrupted, it's likely been like that to begin with, report to whoever produced the file; if only some of your download attempts result in these issues, keep retrying until it succeeds;
also, when troubleshooting such issues, it's best to use a video player that accurately and verbosely reports issues with video files, like mpv

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

last stream my friend had, was their cam VERY bright, almost white. and in the past, it wasnt. i looked at their past broadcasts, and they werent that white in the head. yeah, one could almost say, they looked like a ghost (funny enough, she had a halloween stream, so that could oddly enough be the case. but nope) or mummy. they tried to touch the gamma corrections and whatnot, but nothing helped them out with becoming less ghosty. when they cam preview it in OBS, they werent white at all

can someone maybe help them out, with what can be wrong with her cam settings? cause surely, being really white, isnt normal at all! and it honestly frustrated them in their last stream

If you’re on a PC, you can try the Game Overlay. That however won’t display chat from Kick as since they haven’t released their Public API, we have no integration with Kick. Game Overlay isn’t available on MacOs due to the way MacOS is designed.

Sometimes this is due to a corrupt scene or source. I would try creating a new Scene Collection, not just a new scene, then in the new Scene Collection, rebuild your scenes and sources from scratch. Don’t copy and paste.

try starting recording in obs-studio with nvenc, see what error message it throws

Could be anything but the Layout Editor won’t resolve that. I would at least log out and log back in. Make sure your bitrate is not exceeded 75% of your upstream bandwidth.

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
