hey guys, so my base (canvas) resolution is the same as my output (scaled) resolution at 1920x1080. does the downscale filter i choose matter? when i see my stream and im moving fast sometimes it feels a little pixelated and im not sure what the problem could be. my bitrate is also at 6000

Downscale filter won’t affect you since the resolutions are the same. Only used if your base resolution is higher than your Output Resolution. Pixelation will happen with fast motion. You can try dropping out to 720p.

I have tried and tried to create an account with Streamlabs and upgrade it to Ultra. I have put my credit card in a dozen times. So I create a new google account, a new youtube account, with a new channel, and signed up to Streamlabs with that account. And upgraded to Ultra. ok, so then I would go to Streamlabs.com and download a fresh installer. then right click the installer > run as admin (you don't need to uninstall). Then once that's done, right click the shortcut > run as admin. Then try unticking it in settings > video @crystal timber

they told me, they imported the nerd or die overlay from Settings > Scene Collection > Desktop > Wicked_Alerts_Overlays > ~Streamlabs > grabbed the overlay in there. so it should be ready to use and whatnot. cause they did have same halloween overlay last year, and they didnt have any issues with creating folders back then

update, I managed to get the external microphone to be captured, but it is only possible if the internal sound is disabled, if the internal sound is enabled the microphone captured is that of the cell phone itself

With most apps if you turn it the way you want and then turn off the rotation it should stop. If it keeps turning on its own that's embedded in the app. Some video playing apps rotate no matter if you turn off your rotation or not.

This is the 3rd time this has happened to me now. Where I'll be streaming along, my stream will say I've got X amount of viewers on streamlabs... but my friends will mention that I'm not streaming anymore and tell me it says on their screen that the stream has ended. Unfortunately, they tell me too late.

Everyone who watches my channel knows that I do an intro and outro so everyone knows if my stream jsut ENDS it's an issue. But I never know this is happening. I noticed that while watching my stream on twitch so I could see the chat and such (but I have my video so that it's off so it's not taking my bandwidth on my laptop) that it said 0 viewers. But I thought nothing of it. I didn't realize that meant I wasn't streaming. As you can see, it says 3 viewers atm. But it was at 11 before the crash.

Does anyone know what is going on ? I get NO notification of this nothing. THanks.

The I would: Remove the Chatbox source from every scene you have it in. Wait a few minutes then quit Streamlabs Desktop. The wait a few minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop and add the Chatbox widget back to just one scene.

Like the background noise is atrocious. My mic is acting up and I'm not sure why. I have the same issue in Audacity. It was working fine yesterday. Does anyone know any fixes?

@desert briar Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

Also check Sample Rate of all of your audio sources and make them the same. Either 44.1k or 48kHz

Indeed the elements cannot be resize, only repositioned. The issue is going to be your resolution, 1360x780, is low so the elements will use lots of real estate.

I'm having a problem where I could really need some help..
Probably a month ago I got a new PC running on Windows 11. Before I streamed on my older PC which was running on Windows 10.
Since I'm using my new PC there is a problem regarding it freezing here and there after closing a game. For example Sea of Thieves or Genshin Impact.

I tried researching already if it has something to do with Windows 11. But sadly all the problems there were explained on the internet didn't match to my problem.
Therefore I'm sadly not having any other chance then asking the community here if someones has an Idea on why my Stream freezes after closing a game so often.

(Litte side-information: When my Stream freezes I'm still able to see the sound thingi light up when I talk or music plays and the buttons for switching scenes are also still pressable. They just don't respond.)

I'd be really happy if someone had this problem before and/or knows an answer to all of this, it is really making me go crazy currently >.<

I don't even know where to begin. So I just recently discovered, that my "latest followers" are not updating. I've tried to reinstall OBS, Stream Labels, log out and log in back, but nothing worked. I've also noticed that in website the followers are not updating whatsoever, yet the rest seems to work just fine. What can be the issue?

Please follow these steps:

1. On every device you access the Streamlabs web site, please log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out and then clear the cache in that web browser.
2. Then follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. Since you're not using Streamlabs Desktop, don't worry about logging out there. BUT be sure to log out of the Streamlabs web site.
3. Once you've completed the guide, log back in at the Streamlabs web site with your Twitch.

PLEASE NOTE This will not go back in time and capture the events that were missed. Events are only sent once over the API and cannot be recovered if they are missed. Events going forward once you log back in will be captured.

Pixelation during fast motion is normal. You'd need to increase your bitrate in order to try and resolve it but remember some platforms have bitrate limits. See the next post from Kevin.

On the device that's having an issue, log out of your Twitch channel and then clear all the cookies from Twitch (don't clear other cookies, just the ones from Twitch) and then restart your web browser, don't just open a new tab or window (quit and restart), log back into your Twitch channel and try again.

I have reset your connection for Twitch events. For the reset to finalize, please do the following steps:

Log into streamlabs.com with your Twitch account.
Go to https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
Click the Launch button beside your Widget URL.
Leave the launched window open for a minimum of 3 minutes.
Your next follow, sub, or bit should be captured going forward.

These steps will not restore missed events but will refresh the connection to capture new ones.

It could be that your bitrate is slightly fluctuating over 6000. I'd try dropping it down to 5800 and see if that helps. Of course you'd have to stop the stream to make the changes.

Why doesn't streamlabs send real-time alerts? in addition to being full of customization bugs, the "subscribers or whatever" goal is also static, it is not possible to broadcast in more than 1 location as it freezes completely, there is no support for external microphone and internal audio together, it is obviously full of problems and reports, it is impossible to use the mobile app... 😔

hello I am trying to fix my recording/streaming..

Issues I keep coming into.

• Recording (random lag spikes, insanely low frames like 2-3 fps while recording
• Delay in camera to gameplay (both choppy and lagging)

Not sure if this is a computer issue, or recording, but it's becoming almost 99% of the time.

Last way to resolve this:

1). Make a new scene collection (not a new scene) and in that new Scene Collection, build a simple scene with just Game Capture.

Then go live with that new Scene Collection. If the Desktop Audio and Mic are in the VOD, then in that new Scene Collection, rebuild your previous scenes and sources. Don't copy/paste them over.

Twitch Soundtrack is known for borking Scene Collections and the only fix is just to build a new one from scratch.

Okay, I would...

1. Switch to the NVENC encoder (not the new one), the 3000 series cards work best with that encoder.
2. On Settings -> Output -> Streaming: Uncheck Enforce streaming service encoder settings, set Keyframe specifically to 2, switch the Profile to High, and if you're streaming to Twitch, set your bitrate to 6000.
3. On Settings -> Output -> Recording: Change the Rate Control to CQP, set the CQ Level to 15, set the Keyframes specifically to 2, set Profile to High, uncheck Look-ahead.

On both I would check Psycho Visual Tuning.

Okay, thanks for confirming that. Let's refresh the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. Affiliate and Partners send more data over the API than regular Twitch channel so its a good idea to refresh when you make Affiliate. To do this, follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account At the end, jsut log back in in Streamlabs Desktop with your Twitch to re-establish the connection.

I think the problem is related to the widget size. It doesnt auto resize. so my alertbox is 1920x1080 because is for the pc. But when the same account is connected to mobile the custom alerts chatbox etc doesnt resize for the phone.
Im trying to manually resize on mobile but its all f* up. too big or too little

so maybe its working but I cant see it because of this ^

Streamlabs Mobile and Streamlabs Desktop don't share the same data (scenes and sources). The actual widget settings are used over the whole of the products but the size or the sources doesn't carry over.

Hello. Been having issues for about two weeks now. The first issue I am having is goals related to Stream Labels are not resetting with session anymore. Neither the on screen goals or the commands via cloudbot will reset. I often stream minecraft with twitch chat connectivity. Since the first issue started happening this has not worked since. I know the external apps still work because I have been using it through another service and its fine. Seems like there is an issue with the api or something within streamlabs. Any thoughts?

You have to reach out to TikTok. They only approve and grant stream keys. There’s nothing Streamlabs can do in that process. And I get that trying to contact TikTok is not easy.

Hello, I am trying to Stream on a friends FB page (I have full permissions to do so as I am also an admin on the page) And it keeps giving me the error of "Could not access the specified channel or stream key. hey i have a question, i'm streaming at 1080p 60fps but on twitch it doesnt look that good, the quality of the stream is set to 1080p 60fps but it looks worse than 1080p

what can i do to fix it?

i switched bitrate back to 6000 apparently thats the max twitch supports

Not a lot you can do with Twitch due to the bitrate limitations. Ideally, you should lower your Output Resolution to 1280x720 and keep the 6000 bitrate.

Hi everyone, I have a problem and wanted to know if anyone has a solution. The point is that new followers are displayed in my Twitch feed, but this information is no longer passed on to Streamlabs. In other words, my alerts don't start because streamlabs doesn't know that there are new followers. Everything else still comes to streamlabs. I see new subscribers and also raids, just not the followers. Have any of you had this before and can help me? 🥲

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

👉 Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if you’re live, end the stream first.

Yes? Does the media file have audio that you need to hear locally? If not, then set Audio Monitoring to Monitor Off. In Fit in output, what other options are there? Stretch might not look best; is there a Fit to Screen option?

Hi, we upgraded to Ultra today. We've been streaming on the free plan to Facebook without problems in the past. As soon as we linked YouTube, we received the error message: OAuthException (#200) Permissions error

We followed all the setup steps and tried disconnecting and connecting again.

Log out from Streamlabs Desktop and quit Streamlabs Desktop. Wait a few minutes. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP and choose the IP address of your computer in the drop down menu, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10.
