no, I'm not seeing an error. Where do those display on the mobile app? StreamElements overlays are blocked?
at least before it used to say "browser unsupported" or violation of ToS. but yeah, StreamElements doesn't work

It should. You might need to make sure that all your audio settings are good as well. I know after the most recent windows updates, I had to go back and select my Desktop Audio and Microphone devices.

Streamlabs is so jacked up for me right now. Stream has been causing my PC to crash right around the hour and 30 minute mark, and now some of my widgets aren't working/not visible at all. So confused and frustrated lol
Literally getting the same thing and ever since that started happening, my PC has been crashing about an hour into streaming.
That means it's crashing on close. I would try the suggestions in the guide (https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/streamlabs-desktop-crash-troubleshooting-guide) and if nothing works to reach out to their team in tickets

There's a text source. Add it to your scene and configure it, then drag it to the position where you want it to appear.

hey - streamlabs obs desktop app (on mac might I add) won't let me log on via twitch - it only has the options for Streamlabs, YouTube, Tiktok, Dlive and NimoTV

You most likely have recording only mode enabled! Go into:
Settings > General > Uncheck the "Disable Livestreaming Features"

Anyone know how to turn off "Read out Loud" bits / donation alerts? I'd like it to be quiet again but cannot find the option. All I found so far is reducing volume to 0% but I think, not sure, I think it's still being read when I hit the Test button because I hear the AI Voice say "This is a Test bit Alert"
Hello, I made a second account, and when I logged into it tonight to see about streaming, I noticed all of my Scenes and settings had disappeared. I logged out of my new account and back into my old account and all my scenes where still missing.
Did I lose my scenes for good? Am I going to have to recraft them all and the settings all over again? Or is there a way for me to find them and add them to my new account?

Hey folks, I'm recording for YouTube with a co-host and we can't seem to figure out how to monitor all audio in both sets of headphones
I'm using 2 blue yeti mics but streamlabs only lets you set one device for audio monitoring for some reason
I can get headphones to hear myself and the game audio, but not them, or the other way around
Any reason why cloudbot won't import nightbot? I queue it, it says it'll take a few minutes, then it never imports

You know what we need, is a way to use dual output without having to dual out put. Hardly anyone has a stream key for Tiktok, but that vertical layout is awesome. You can just crop that area for TikTok Live Studio and it's perfect.

Man, I am having the worst time over last few months with streamlabs, I had it set up some years ago, moved to Stream Elements and just came back. After reconfiguing everything , my timers , alerts and overlays dont seem to work and I cannot figure it out. I want to get ultra to multistream but I cant be messing with that until I get this to work. Any ideas, buttons is on for cloudbot, added as mod on both YT and Twitch, no timers are working, when I redeem something from loyalty store, the redemption comes up in chat, but the stream perk does not. I am having mad probs ha, anyone have any broad suggestions

NEED HELP!! So recently when i start SLOBS my Screens turn dark and fans start spinning.
So basically SLOBS is destroying my GPU (driver). Whenever i start SLOBS and open a game my gpu just crashes like in the description. However the worst part is, after restarting my pc the problem still exists my GPU crashes whenver i open a game.
So I ran a benchmark to check it its a GPU issue and yes it seemed like it. So i cleanisntalled the GPU (via ddu) and than run a benchmark again. No crashes everything seems to work, every game works. EVEN streaming on OBS (not slobs) works just fine with nvenc and without it.
Than i thought damn its all working, so i opened slobs again and the same issues started instantly. I had to cleaninstal my GPU again and after that everything worked fine.
The only possible explanation is that SLOBS bricks my GPU Driver or something and this is unforgiveable, people having the same issue as me could think there GPU is broken and even buy a new one, i was at the verge of doing it. I really wanna stream on slobs cause of my settings and so on.

If you reset the database, then there is no data in it and thus you can't addpoints to yourself as that entry in the database no longer exists. You would need to watch your own stream for a bit so the system can add you back into the Loyalty database.
Yes, if you are multistreaming, Chatbox will show chats from any platform you enable when you go live.

You mean the embedded chat dock? If that, then there isn't a way to do that. Do you have only one monitor perhaps?
I have 2 monitors technically but everything "lags" when I have the streamlabs desktop running in the foreground. I have to minimize it to make it smoother
Do both monitors offer a way to change their refresh rate? If so then I'd set the refresh rate on both monitors to 120Hz and that should solve your issue.

1. < only available in Windows 10 version 2004 and later > Click on your Windows Start Menu and search "Graphics Settings". Then enable the toggle on for "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" < Link >. You will need to restart your PC, but this should help with this issue.
2. You can disable the stream preview on Streamlabs Desktop so it does not show the preview of what your stream will see. You can do this by right-clicking next to the preview and click on Enable Performance Mode.
3. You can place Streamlabs Desktop to run on your higher refresh rate monitor, but then you wouldn't be able to see it since your game/application is most likely also going to be running on that monitor.
4. If you have an Intel CPU - you can enable onboard graphics in your BIOS to allow your PC to be able to use both integrated graphics AND your GPU. then, you can plug your lower Hz monitor in to your Motherboard and keep your higher Hz monitor plugged in to your GPU and that would resolve it.
5. You can buy another monitor to match your desired Hz.
6. You can reduce the higher Hz monitor down to the lower Hz monitor.```

I have them set at the same refresh rate. It's more of a CPU GPU limitation. It's getting maxed when streamlabs is open
If you have higher than normal CPU usage with just Streamlabs Desktop open, it could be a corrupted scene or source. I'd create a new scene collection (not jsut a new scene), and in that scene collection create one scene and just add game capture and see if the CPU usage is better. If it is, then manually rebuild your scenes and sources in the new scene collection and use that one and then remove the old one when you're comfortable with the new one.

If you have an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription, then yes, you can multistream with Streamlanbs Mobile. There isn't a way to change or modify the disconnect scene.

There aren't the usual encoders in Streamlabs Mobile like there are in Streamlabs Desktop. Mobile devices just don't have add in video cards like you can install in a PC.

since this SRT its mostly used for IRL stream that consume half of data plans (4g/5g) when compared to RTMP

If Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay is enabled, that’s your problem. With this setting enabled you just manually approve every alert before it it presented. I would disable that setting.

Having a hard time with widgets when multistreaming. For example, the follower goal widget: is there a way to set it up so it shows a YouTube subscriber goal and also a Twitch follow goal?
Do you know what exaclty Unlimited Alert moderation delay is?
That's really not possible since they are the same widget.
Is there a way to exclude mic audio just from a recording but keep it in the stream?
What it does is make the strreamer or an approved moderator go to your Dashboard an approve each alert before its presented on stream. If the alert is never approved, it won't be presented on stream.
Should I put that on 0s?
If you're not wanting to use that feature, just disable it. Like in my screen shot. Be sure to click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
I want to have just game audio in the recording, but also to be able to speak to my viewers when streaming.
So how does the widget choose which of the two metrics to look at? You can't specify in the settings.
It uses what ever platform you're logged in with when you configure it. Not ideal and I wish they were separately names but its what we have.

Pro Tip for the web site, if you click your PFP, you can then switch to other channels you have merged into your Streamlabs account. That let's you quickly configure widgets.
Yeah, I've played around with that but its a little confusing. If I log in to the YT one and change the widget, the saves carry over to when I switch to Twitch as well

Yes, but its a bit complicated. You'd have to not use the built in Alert Box Widget and instead use separate Browsers Sources.
- Go to the Alert Box Widget page on the Streamlabs Website: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox
- Click the Filter Events button (upper right) and uncheck all the ones you don't want. Like for example only leave Follows.
- Now copy the Widget URL and add a Browser Source and paste in the Widget URL.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for as many times as you desire.
If they are not the Primary, you'd have to log into that account and unlink them there. If they are the Primary, and you don't care about the data in that account (scenes, sources, widget preferences, merch store items and history, donation history, etc), you can request that account be deleted and then you could merge in the correct account.

its easy man, what you need is to change the output setting for recording and select the audio track you want. Then with that track you go to audio advanced config and remove your mic from the recording track.
ie: if your stream is all in audio track 1, move your recording setting to 2,3,4 etc

Yes. Remember Cloudbot works only with Twitch, YouTube, and Trovo. It doesn't work with Facebook or TikTok.

I would reboot your PC just to clear out any stuck processes related to Streamlabels, then download a fresh installer here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/streamlabels, and run the installer as administrator. No need to uninstall. Just let it reinstall over your existing installation. And I'd also reboot again after the install is completed.
Cloudbot doesn't have that capability. Only Chatbot does.

You can't change the Primary platform as the Primary platform holds the cloud backup of your scenes and sources, your widget settings, your media gallery, merch store items and history, donation history, etc. If you want to change the Primary, you'll need to put in a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
And honestly, I'd just merge your Twitch and then log out in Streamlabs Desktop and log in with the linked Twitch.
That keeps all your data.

hmm this still doesnt work, when i right click on streamlabels theres only streamlabels, pin to taskbar or close all windows. theres no move or maximize option. i also dont see method 3 in my display settings.

the problem is the alert box used to work normally before, but now when I want to for example replay an alert by clicking on the play alert button in twitch studio but the alert just gets queued and nothing shows up, also when I was streaming no alerts show up but weirdly enough like 5 minutes ago an alert showed up now that I'm not streaming but the first issue is still happening

YouTube Subscriber alerts can sometimes be very delayed. That's due to YouTube and there is no fix.

You have to change some of the color space options but I don't know about those. You might try deleting that catpure source, quit and restart Streamlabs Desktop, and then add that capture source back.

What's really confusing is the stream itself doesn't lag or drop frames really. Its mostly game lag that occurs when I go live. And it only happens on my device. Meaning when I go live on Streamlabs my in-game ping is 1000 ms but other people gaming on the same internet and a different device still have low ping on their games. So it seems like Streamlabs causes local ping to my device but no dropped frames/stream issues -- its only in-game lag
So in the Custom Ingest the "Server" was "Auto (Recommended)" but now I'm changing it to the server was the best results from the TwitchTest.. does that seem like that could solve the problem?

Is your primary platform Twitch? If so, then all you need to do is logout in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then log out from the Streamlabs website by clicking your PFP and choose Log out and quit the web browser. Do that on any device you access the Streamlabs web site. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your new Twitch name.

What does this mean
Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

For Kick, there are three things you have to have your stream to Kick: your output resolution must be 1920x1080 or less, your bitrate must not exceed 8000, and before you go live you have to set the stream title and category on your Kick dashboard.

If you’ve double checked all the audio and microphone device settings to ensure they are correct, then I’m not sure and would go through the guide. If you're using it with YouTube, note that you must be live with a Public stream; Cloudbot won't work on YouTube with Private or Unlisted streams. Also note that it can sometimes take up to 10 minutes for Cloudbot to join your stream.

Okay so !commands isn't one you've setup. What happens, if anything, when you use these commands in your chat? I would test with Twitch since Twitch Chat is always working even if you're offline.
Right, I just used "!command" as a generic way of describing any actual command. The ones that are not working are the ones on my actual list, not actually "!command"

Question, I stream on Kick, they have no public API yet, and they have a few bot programs like Botrix and Kickbot, but they don't have stuff like chat commands for gifs and things like channel point redemptions that Twitch has. Is there a way to have streamlabs recognize the chat commands then connect to an outside source program for playing the command that don't require an API??

No, there has to be an API between Kick and Streamlabs. There's not a way to "cobble it together" so to speak.

Hey! Question! My church uses SLOBS for the live online worship service. We share the main image with a second image as an overlay for the worship slides. Ever since the last update to SLOBS the second screen image can’t be resized. It used to be a layer in the top corner while I’m preaching. But ever since the last update, the second screen insist on filling the whole screen, so we’re flipping between the image of my video and the image of the PowerPoint while I’m preaching. Does that make sense? Anyone else dealing with this?
We’ve tried deleting the scene and rebuilding from scratch, but that hasn’t worked.

- Go here on the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/slIDSettingsPage and setup your Streamlab ID https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-set-up-your-streamlabs-id.
- Once that is setup, log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out.
- Clear the cache in your web browser, restart your whole web browser (don't just open a new tab or window), and then go back to the Streamlabs web site, log in with your Streamlabs ID and then you should be able to unmerge that YouTube account.
How to uninstall Streamlabs Desktop 1.40.0 because I have OBS

- Unmod streamlabs: Type

- Wait for at least 10 minutes
- Toggle Cloudbot back on
- Mod streamlabs: Type
/mod streamlabsin your Twitch chat then type/modsito make sure streamlabs is a moderator again. - Wait 10 minutes before trying commands
Go to your Add/Remove Settings in Windows, find Streamlabs Desktop and uninstall it there.

I've been having issues lately with the follower notifications in my alert box on Streamlabs OBS.
So when I do the 'Test Alerts', it works and goes off as it should. However, when I'm streaming and someone does follow me, it doesn't trigger the notification. It is only the follower notification that is affected.
I have tried turning it off and back on again in the event panel, the properties of the Alert Box and on the Dashboard. None of those have so far worked.
Any suggestions?
So with the Game Capture issue, I've tried every step mentioned here to fix it and the window capture worked for one night on one game. Now I can't get it to find any game unless I use Display capture and I don't want to do that. Is there a game plan to have this fixed or should I go back to regular OBS?

hello, I tried this, but nothing changed. SLOBS crashed after some hours, closed itself and reopened itself. Szream is down, this is very painful because, everytime I lost a lot of Viewer. Dont know why, till now!!?

Today, the same jsonrpc error occurred again and lost control of Streamlabs desktop during livestream of our church service. Clicking directly on a scene on SL window cleared the busy condition and was able to continue.
Checking logs of both events didn't show any common causes, just that maybe enabling/disabling studio mode or executing transitions in studio mode may trigger condition.

Please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again. And then in the embedded chat dock, log in again there. Then you'll have the usual functionality.

Remove your Streamlabs account from the Stream Desck app. Reboot your PC and then add your Streamlabs account back in the Stream Deck software.
Use of overlays in Streamlabs Mobile on iOS is limited to when you stream with the camera only. Due to the way iOS is designed, applications cannot overlay onto games so thus no overlay can be shown when screen sharing.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.
By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.
The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

Pleaser log out in Streamlabs Desktop (see next post) quit Streamlabs Desktop and log out of the Streamlabs web site on every device you access it with: click your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out. Please go through the disconnect service guide again https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account (you should still be logged out of Streamlabs Desktop and the Streamlabs web site so proceed to the step for Twitch). Once that is done, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch and go to the scene with the Alert Box; you don't need to be live. Let me know once you've done this and we can follow your channel as a test.

It sounds like those should be two scenes that you set up how you want. One scene for Webcam and the other for full-screen

Does anyone know if it's possible to assign audio input devices to specific scenes? For example, during my starting scene, I don't want my microphone to be picked up. As soon as I switch to my chatting or game scenes, I want my mic picked up. Short of manually muting and unmuting my mic when I switch scenes, is there an option or setting in Streamlabs to do this for me?

I merged my twitter and logged in with the twitter account but it doesn't then give me the option to UNMERGE the youtube account so I can log into my other account and relink it as primary... any ideas?

I have multiple accounts merged into my Streamlabs ID, but because I don't have Ultra anymore, I can't switch between them? I know I can't multistream.
This typically happens if you interact with an article and accidentally mark that it resolved your issue. Either way, log out from Streamlabs Desktop and log in with the platform you wish to stream to. That's how you switch between the accounts.
Do you have any VTuber software installed on your system? Uninstall any unused VTuber software and make sure any that you still wish to use is fully up to date

Am i the only one that has my stream restarting after every like hour and a half? I just deleted and reinstalled streamlab obs and now i get skipped frames GALORE. Dynamic bitrate change on like always and i've been playing with my bitrate for too long. I know for sure i can do at least 3-4000 bitrate but for some reason, I'm getting frame skips at 1k and with lower resolutions.

I was in the middle of streaming when my capture card in streamlabs froze. I replugged the HDMI and now it only shows black screen with game sound. I tried new HDMI and USB cables and setting a new source but no change. I can visit a webcam test site and see the capture card fine so I know it is working just doesn't show up in streamlabs anymore

Well first half hour it's fine, and after a while it gets choppy and even disconnects the stream.
Now I've got the same problem with RuneScape which has been working near perfect up until today, it doesn't dc the stream but it's choppy as hell..

Idk if this would work, but you could try using blackhole or something like that. I know that helps to capture desktop audio for mac so maybe you can use that like voicemeter? or soundflower/loopback. IDK mac that much but just trying to think of voicemeter alternatives.

Hey, I have an account with a streamlabsID tat is merged with youtube, but I accidently created another account with a twitch login. But I want to merge my twitch account to my original account that has the streamlabsID and youtube already. But the dashboard does not want to merge. Simply redirects me back to the dashboard when I click merge on twitch. Even after I go to twitch and disconnect from streamlabs.

I started having this issue over the weekend using the android mobile app. Scheduled events on Youtube appear in the list but when you go to start them the title and description (which re usually pre-filled out with info from the YT event) comes up blank and a new event needs to be started.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.

hello, I need some serious help, my streamlabs sources have completely disappeared. like not the section, but all the sources within in. I can still click the sources in the editor preview, but that's it. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same. here are pictures if discord lets me upload them
sorry for the sloppy writing, I had to write with mouse because I sent it in as a ticket to SLOBS site, but haven't heard anything at all from them.
it started out that the sources were there and I could click them, but it wouldn't highlight the corresponding sources in the editor preview as you can see in the first picture.
and now it's like the second picture where the sources are still in the editor preview, but none of the sources are in the source selector window anymore on ANY of my scenes.

I have a bit of a... technical question. In regards to custom chat JS, I wanted to make a certain effect with an async function and await (since setTimeout wouldn't work), but I noticed that because of this added delay within a message (it being written out character by character), it would have trouble showing more than 2 or 3 messages with that delay, as any other messages after them simply stop appearing or rarely appear with a hefty delay. Would there be any way to work around this, or is this sort of effect not possible? I could share some code details in private if necessary.

For devices like your desktop audio and microphone, no; they get their name from the name of the device in Windows. For items in the Mixer that come from sources, you’d have to rename that source.
In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings > Video and swap the two values in the Output Resolution field. For example, if it’s set to 1080x1920, change it to 1920x1080.
Look like Facebook is causing that limit. You would need to reach out to Facebook for assistance.

Well I’m sorry you feel that way. Due to complex nature of custom code, we don’t support it here.
As to you having to login each time, I would download a fresh installer from the website and run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather reboot your PC. I have a fix for your mini feed, see my next post.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using. Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if you’re live, end the stream first.

It glitches sometimes. It happened to me. You have to turn off alerts and turn it back on

No, you don’t need Streamlabs Desktop. But go ahead and go through the guide. Just be sure to log out of the Streamlabs web site on any device you access on: click your PFP and choose Log out. Then follow the rest of the guide. At the end, log back into the Streamlabs web site with your Twitch to re-establish the connection.

Also in OBS Studio, make sure the Alert Box source is at the top of the source list for any scene where you have it and I would go to Settings > Advanced and turn off Browser Source Hardware Acceleration and restart OBS Studio.

Ah, you are live. You need to be offline to have the disconnect service work. I can test but you may have to do this again once you end your stream. A unfollow and refollow won’t trigger a new alert.

If you have the audio monitoring set to monitor and output, change the audio monitoring device to something else then switch it back to the device you use. And then restart Streamlabs Desktop.

oh if you're copying into a new scene you can only reference. it will help you save resources to reference it which is why the copy function features that way
if you want to create an entirely different source (like one for your webcan and another for your capture card) you would want to go to the + > video capture source > use the toggle

basically you add your capture card as its own scene. then when you're in your other scenes add it as a scene source. that way you can add filters and stuff to the scene source

Since i don't know exactly what the issue is, but in all my merch orders that i've made i always get an email saying to reach out. It's because how things "communicate" with one another that they can't be more specific with the email that is sent out. Typically when you get an email saying something is wrong/something is on hold or something like that it's because it's embroidery and there's an issue with it. Other times it's because you messed up your address. But the team is pretty fast about getting tickets responded to quickly, so if you put something in a while ago it would be good to share the number so i can share it with them.
As for a phone number, it's much easier since it's an international company to respond to emails. Then there's translation tools, not getting disconnected, etc.
but that's the way that SL has always been (no phone calls, only email/text-based support unless someone requests an accomodation)

should I delet my current Scenes ? and try new ones ? I think that is not the problem, other streamer have the same problem
so from what i understand sometimes in a scene collection there can be a source that is causing a crash. So if you create a new collection (click the dropdown next to scenes > manage collections) you can either make a new one (that ignores the old one) or duplicate the old one (which copies over the data but not wahtever was causing issues before).
Lots of streamers have issues with crashes, but each one is unique to them. I saw you were linked the guide also before so if you ran through everything in that this is the only thing i can think of that you haven't tried yet.
since 2 weeks, always the same and I know other streames the problem started at the same time, I think the last update brought the Problem.... not the Scene colelction...or other stuff...

IDK if people speak german either, but you could submit a ticket at https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and tell them what's going on and ask for a call. i bet they could help you out even if it's in german
Does anybody know if the merch shop works at all, for orders.. submitted a ticket have money taken out but its on hold.. read the terms states if on hold for 30 days it will be refunded.. so my question is the merch shop working properly or is it like a beta feature
So it does work? Have items been going out hats etc?
