1. Turn off the bot on both accounts
2. Log out of streamlabs.com
3. Log back into streamlabs.com
4. Turn the bot back on for both accounts
5. Wait 3-10 minutes and test again.

I would make sure you logout in the dock as well. That’s probably the cause of the disconnect not working.

Okay I don’t know what to do anymore. It happens more and more that Twitch and YouTube mark songs from my streams as copyrighted. Sure, there are no affects for my videos and stream vods aside from muted parts but is there a possibility to fix that? That there are only songs in the Streamlabs Music Libary that are truly non copyrighted?

I don't know about the music library, but my streams have had loads of copyright claims that were bogus. At least on Twitch you can see what the claim is, and see if it's actually that. In one of my streams I have DMCA free music from 2022, and one claim was made by someone with music made this year. They had sampled(?) the same stuff as the music I used. And someone claimed the Skyrim theme as their own. All this to say, it might not be that the music you use is not DMCA free, but someone just claims it anyways 🤷‍♀️

Hi friends! So I need some help with some SL widget problems.....

Im using the Alert Box and Alert List widgets over OBS Studio (though me using Studio isnt the issue im pretty sure) and im also doing Tiltify fundraising for October. Now, ive done charity stuff in the past and have had no issue, but its been a couple years. Ive updated my integration settings in SL, and have my tiltify alerts enabled, but they just will not go off when i receive the charity donos, but when i go in to use the test alert feature, the tiltify test works, it just doesnt when actual donos come in. can anyone explain to me how to set up a plugin with streamlabs obs? I'm trying to use loudmax plugin.

or at very least have a good noise gate set up that wont cut off my voice when finishing up talking. I notice it will cut off my voice at random intervals while talking and it sounds weird. not using noise gate seems to work best but it picks up my breathing even with noise suppression on max setting or high quality (mic/headset is SteelSeries Arctis Pro with built in noise suppression)

So if I remember correctly “close” is the db that the gate allows sound through and “open” is when it shuts sound off.

So set the open at like -34 and the close at -26 and see if it fixes it

Because you’re using a headset mic your db limits will need to be closer to 0 because the mic is right next to your face and is more sensitive than an XLR mic

@smoky sedge Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

hey! just wondering if anyone knows a solution. ive been using streamlabs alerts for awhile and all of a sudden they stopped working. when i use the "test follow, test subs etc" feature it comes up on my OBS perfectly, but anything that is not a test doesnt come up, even replaying events. i only go live on twitch, i havent had any issues before and i havent touched anything. i tried refreshing, re linking my acc, updating drivers etc. , nothing has worked. help

Why when I go live using the mobile app the stream instantly gets stopped and the streamlabs pop-up bubble disappears and will sometimes even continue streaming to twitch without the interaction controls showing and the overlay displaying but instead saying that my stream is temporarily paused due to the streamer being afk when I am not

"open threshold" is how loud the incoming audio must be for the mic to unmute, "close threshold" is how quiet it has to become to get muted again; open threshold can never be lower than the close threshold
there's no "ideal" setting for either, what you should do instead is disable the filter, speak into the mic and note the volume you speak at, subtract a few dB (3-8) and set that as the open threshold, then look at the average volume when you're not speaking, add a few dB, and set that as the close threshold
(and, of course, since we're talking negative dBFS, "subtracting" 3 dB from, say, -25 dBFS would amount to -28 dBFS, not -22)

okay, thanks. my current setting ( the screenshot i posted above) seems to actually work ok. at least for now. it's a lot of trial and error. i'm not sure what is the best setting is either. Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

It’s mainly due to the fact that the ultra support and vip support channels are considered benefits, especially ultra support since people pay for that subscription, and they would rather not have those channels be unanswered when there isn’t enough staff. If you have feedback about this, please feel free to submit a ticket but there’s nothing us Volunteers can do about it.

We’d rather not push people to other solutions and we don’t troubleshoot based on logs like they do over at the OBS Studio discord. There’s the upload diagnostic button but that data is only available to Streamlabs staff. It a user wanted to troubleshoot with you based on their logs, it would be best to take that to a DM.
If you asking about Cloudbot, there are some template commands you can select when you add a custom command.

No, it’s not a nightmare to troubleshoot. There’s not one instance where I’ve had to look at someone’s log to resolve an issue.
And yes, there are discord commands but they aren’t available for public use and most are restricted to certain roles, like staff and Volunteers.

Hey! I'm trying to stream gameplay from xbox cloud gaming via the web. I had used a window capture at first and now I'm trying to setup a browser source. The only issue is that when I right click the source and click "interact" and go to sign-in I cannot type in my email to sign-in (it's like it only recognizes certain keys) and I can't right click to paste or use hot keys to paste, either. @desert briar as far as high-quality recording goes, nvidia's and amd's h264 encoders are more or less on par, though only nvenc can do yuv444 if you require that (most don't); if storage space is an issue, hardware hevc/av1 encoding may be preferable, since it yields better quality at low recording bit rates (<50 Mbps for 1080p60)

Hi there! 👋 Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the end platform will resolve this. Please follow exactly all the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Including the log outs.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using. Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if you’re live, end the stream first.

if your total upload throughput (target bit rate * total platforms) does not exceed what upload throughput your ISP is advertising, call them about this issue; if you're streaming to Kick and you have <5 viewers, streaming at above 3.5 Mbps can get your connection dropped by them

I never claimed to be using it simultaneously with other software. I said that I have the same issue no matter which software I use. Window's own Camera app, xSplit, PRISM Studio, OBS, Streamlabs. It's pretty much the same across the board. Audio keeps going, but the image just stops.

@wise nymph obs doesn't do that, only sld does; open video capture device source properties, set resolution/fps type to "custom", see what else is available in the resolution drop-down
unlike obs-studio, sld won't let you type arbitrary resolutions so choose one of the available options, if any

Hey so I’m pretty familiar with streamlabs obs and im trying to set my wife’s pc up for stream labs but keep on encountering an issue where when editing a scene and adding a source it will soft lock stream labs but after closing the application it won’t load at all stays on the initial startup screen

Log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right and choose Log out. The clear the cache in your web browser, restart the werb browser (don't just open a new tab or window), and try again. for receiving audio, i'd also recommend https://vdo.ninja, you'd have to create a second room; if your recipients need to perform complex composition of audio and not just send a single microphone, instruct them to installl vb-audio CABLE https://vb-audio.com/Cable/ (just the free one) and use audio monitoring to send audio to the "CABLE Input" virtual audio device, then you'd use vdo.ninja to receive that audio from them;

i think it should be possible to send the same audio to both your stream and your collaborators via vdo.ninja and sld, but if not, you may have to use https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/audio-monitor.1186/ instead
poke me if you have more specific questions about this setup, it's likely going to be somewhat complex

Ok. When I add the chatbox as a browser source to obs studio, no chat shows up when I send chats on my stream. I've tried other chatbox widgets aswell. Obs studio support said other companies chatbox must've been down coincidentally at the same time I call 🧢. When I paste the chatbox URL into Google/opera it just comes up a white screen, with the chatbox not there.

Hey, everyone. I've been running into an issue where almost every time I open my stream labs, it gets stuck on the load up screen. If I manage to get past that, when I'm trying to set up my scenes and the like, Streamlabs will freeze on me and I'm unable to click on anything. I end up having to close it out through task manager and it shows me this message which doesn't help me at all. I've been trying to figure this one out all day and I'm at a loss. I've redownloaded and restarted my PC multiple times too, so I'm not sure where to go from here.

Hello, unfortunately it happened to me out of nowhere that all the settings in streamlabs disappeared, the connection to Twitch is still there, but I don't even see the chat in streamlabs, which is the main reason why I'm dealing with it. I tried reinstalling 2 times and it didn't help. It says at the bottom that I can log in, but when I click on Twitch, it doesn't do anything to me

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

Step 1: Uninstal StreamLabs
Step 2: Windows Key + R and Type %appdata%
Step 3: in Appdata folder search for "slobs" and delete every folder
Step 4: uninstal your graphic card
Step 5: Download your latest Graphic Card Driver
Step 6: Download latest Streamlabs Installing EXE, and run it using System Administrator

If I use OpenVR capture, it shows a strange crop around it as if to simulate my headset.

My partner started streaming when lockdown started and gradually over the years I've managed to create custom widgets for almost everything, alerts, shoutouts, ticker, hype train, donation goals, catching pokemon on stream, QOTD, members achievement badges, throwing stuff at the camera box etc etc, except I'm way too stupid to be able to write our own chatbot, so we're stuck using Streamlabs chatbot and their chatbox widget. The issue is we have different overlays for every game, so we have dozens of chatboxes set up and for every stream, the chatbox link needs to be updated for whatever is being streamed that evening.

My question is, is there an option using the Streamlabs API or some other feature to dynamically update the selected chatbox URL when we switch overlays via our web server? It would be great if the script that switches the overlays and updates the Twitch channel rewards could additionally call an appropriate endpoint to Streamlabs to get the selected chatbox updated. I did contact Streamlabs about this but didn't get a response which is understandable because it's a marginal use case - most people are perfectly content with just one overlay or don't have trouble remembering to update their chatbox links as needed due to a lack of raging ADHD! A long time ago I did try importing an external CSS stylesheet but it caches the result so that was a bust.

About a week ago I tried playing with my audio settings and it really screwed everything on my mic up. I have since deleted and reset everything on my audio properties, un/re installed my mic and now I have a new issue.

The mic no matter what volume I put it to is like "capping out" in the yellow. It isn't varied like it use to be whether I shout or whisper it just goes to like the mid-yellow level of the mixer and sounds horrible in playback.

Good evening, I have a little problem with my streamlabs, basically I stream on Valorant, when I move too quickly the quality of my stream becomes pixelated and becomes blurry. But when I'm not moving everything and perfect, I have a very good PC and a good connection, can you help me please!

both twitch and streamlabs have 2 factor and the dashboard imidietly gives me the 500 error code...

had to log out and back in that fixed it, not sure why but thats what i found out if any one else has the same problem

I'm having issues with Alerts via browser sourse on OBS. It started after linking TTS Monster to streamlabs. For some reason Follower Alerts will not come up. But all the other alerts work perfectly fine. I tried disabling then re-enabling. Reloaded to cache. Still no luck

Hey everyone! I am new to streaming and am currently using streamlabs to go through twitch. I have been streaming overwatch and have had no issues at all, but I just recently started playing MW2 again and wanted to start streaming it. Whenever I go through streamlabs and pull up the game, it does not show MW2 like it does automatically for overwatch. Has anyone else had this problem before? I've deleted the screen itself and readded it several times but that has not done anything to fix the problem. Thank you!!

Instead of launching streamlabs normally. Run as Administrator. It's a call of duty thing.

Hey, so to no one’s fault but my own I accidentally activated the premium version of streamlabs on my old twitch account. So I logged into my actual streaming account and went to pay to activate premium to use add ins and things. And every time I try to add ultra it says I already have it but I think it’s reading my old account but I can’t get it to activate ultra on my new account. I don’t mind paying again just want to be able to use the features. I have tried re logging both streamlabs and my browser and closed both completely out thanks in advance.

i have issue which i cant solve with streamlabs alerts. Animations is OK but sound is missing. (Not problem in OBS, i tried the popup window and not even chrome plays the sound from the alert) Everything else works fine, just the sounds are not. Funny is, that if i try to change the setting of the alert, for example change the sound, i can hear it, so it is there, just for some reason, browser wont play it.

Possible that you have the alert box sounds muted. Go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents and look at the icons at the top right. If you see a red speaker icon with a slash through it, you alert box sounds are muted. Click that red speaker to unmute them.

There’s nothing native in Streamlabs Console that gives that capability. If there is a Twitch extension for that, it might work. Can’t guarantee; just try it out and see. Now if it requires you to setup a browser source in order to function then that’s a definite no as Streamlabs Console has no capacity for browser sources.

Greetings! We are using Streamlabs OBS (and have an Ultra subscription) to stream content from our local tabletop gaming convention (we have both a live/in-person and a virtual con). All but one of us is on a PC, making it easy for most of us to share scenes. One of us - the person running the con - is exclusively a Mac user. Is the ANY way to avoid having to create both Mac and PC assets and scenes? Can we store the assets online somehow in an archive that works for both PC and Mac?

Sadly there isn’t. The data can’t be shared between Mac and PC as it’s in different formats that the other can’t read.

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

I would make sure that you have all your monitors set to a refresh rate to 120. Then also set the FPS in Streamlabs to 60 and cap the in game FPS to 60.

Is there not a method to dedicate a 2nd GPU for NVENC anymore?

I recently got a 4060 and want to use my old 2070 as a stream processor. I have the 2070 on a pcie 2x to 16x ribbon riser so it's not using unnecessary lanes on the 16x slot. Both GPUs are recognized in the OS with mist recent drivers and firmware. There used be a setting for this iirc, but SLOBS only allows to arbitrarily select NVENC H264 or HEVC with no indication which GPU (I'm assuming the primary) will be utilized.
