Hello. So, I've been streaming for past month consistently as much as I could and took a few days rest. Anyways, I tried starting my stream and everything went fine, until I get this crash which unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of but it said something like "invalid capturing device" error in streamlabs, and my game crashed as well. The stream stopped. I tried going live again and after 10-20 minutes I got the same crash. I read the details of the crash and it said something with "nvec" thing. This sounds like a hardware issue? Temperatures of my GPU is always around 38 - 60, my CPU is around 40-65.
I had no issue with this for the past month. Thanks for anyone who replies.

Hey, I have a big complex scene and all of a sudden none of the sources are showing up in the sources list. They are all still working but none are showing within the sources box. Any tips so I don't have to redo my entire thing?

Saw this in known issues, tried their fix and nothing....

{1} Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. The events don't also update they show that reload option. However when I am offline and I tend to test them trough as a test it works fine

I've been facing an issue with Streamlabs alerts while I'm live on Twitch using OBS as my streaming application. The problem is that my alerts, such as follows, donations, and bits, are not showing up during my live streams. However, when I'm offline and test the source from the Streamlabs dashboard, everything appears to be working fine.

Here are the steps I've taken to try and resolve the issue:

I ensured that the "Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay" option is disabled in the Streamlabs settings, and I clicked the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the page.

I made sure that my alerts are not paused. There's usually an icon, which looks like a play button, to indicate if the alerts are paused. In my case, they were not paused.

I attempted to reconnect my Twitch account and Streamlabs multiple times, but this did not resolve the issue.

Just to clarify, I don't have two chat bots running concurrently. Hislop09 did try to help but nothing so far 🙂

Hi all, I'm having issues getting instant replay to work on my live stream. It saves no problem but when I press the hotkey to show the reply or hide the replay, it does not appear. I'm hoping to have the ability to save replays AND be able to show instant replays on the fly in my streams. Is anyone able to help me here? Thank you 🙂 2nd EDIT: I can see in the mixer that "Instant replay" is playing audio, but there is no video footage being displayed. Also, I can't resize the source. Seeing the question more popped up but didnt see it listen in the known issue tab yet.

After playing with the settings and "Enable Dual Output", all my sources have duplicated itself once i turned it off again.
Now i cant remove them as it would delete the original one aswell, making it for me that i have to setup everything from scratch

Now i do notice when i go back into Dual Output, the duplicates are gone. But disabling it makes them come back again

Hi, has anyone had a problem with the option for filters no longer appearing for sources such as the camera and mic when you right click on them? I had the known issue of the sources disappearing,so I created new scenes, but now the filter option is just gone in all the new scenes. They're still present in the old scenes that haven't had all the sources disappear.

Not a clue. I opened streamlabs just yesterday and realized I could see all my sources again, but for some reason, streamlabs was taking up 90% of my gpu and my video was going 2x faster than my audio on stream AND when recording. no way to fix it. just gotta trust the process and hope SLOBS fixes the issue

You have to drag the application out of the disk image to the Applications folder on your Mac. It won’t run from inside the disk image. And don’t put the disk image in Applications.

By default, for media files the audio monitoring is off, which helps prevent echoes. If you want to hear the media file, change the audio monitoring on that source to monitor & output.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using. Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if your live, end the stream first.

Hi all, I just signed up today and having an odd windows desktop error cycle connecting my channels at the screen "Connect a Content Platform".

• I was able to login to Stream Labs, that icon disappears

They had an alert for the very first one but since then the only way I know is from OBS showing 3/15 subscribers. Also these people don't have my badge in front of their names so I'm thinking this is not even a real sub? I've read about it and people were all suggesting that the person has to toggle the bar ON to show their resub when they do it but on one occasion, I did the resub myself on his phone to see how it works and I had it toggled ON and I had my OBS open on the computer next to it but there was no alert. This is so annoying as I've customised all these things and now they never show..

I am streaming and the video and audio both work fine but for some reason the video is behind the audio by like 5 minutes, so I can see the video that played 5 minutes ago and can hear the audio produced seconds ago. i think 12 hours is the maximum youtube allows so you should be fine streaming more than 1 hour.

your token has most likely expired, you should start by logging out of streamlabs desktop, streamlabs.com and twitch.tv then log back in streamlabs.com with twitch to refresh the token, after that you can log back in everything else. but only new events will start coming in so like a new follower will show

Hello, Quick question has anyone had the issue where new followers/subscribers from twitch would not populate in Recent events? Because of this, my notifications arent popping up. I have a problem like this, I have been using Streamlabs OBS for a long time. While broadcasting, my internet was constantly interrupted or I was having ping problems. I changed my internet provider. Now my internet is very good, but still, for example, in the 5th hour of my broadcast, for example, while broadcasting in streamlabs obs, the broadcast shuts itself off and restarts itself for 1 second. That 1-second broadcast shutdown cuts my viewers almost in half. Although I tried all the settings in streamlabs, I changed my internet provider, modem, fiber box, even the fiberoptic cabling of the building, but I experienced it again. So for whatever reason....My games (Star Trek Online, American Truck Simulator and World of Warships) keep freezing momentarily (almost like lag) when I'm streaming. I streamed live to FB while back a few different times, and had absolutely NO issues...

YET I try streaming to Twitch, and it freezes up on Me (it's started doing it as of yesterday on fb too), and I can't seem to figure out WHY.

I have been experiencing an issue with Streamlabs OBS Ultra while attempting to multistream to both Twitch and YouTube. The problem revolves around the resolution of my streams not achieving the intended 1440p quality, despite configuring both platforms accordingly.

If I Stream on on Twitch the Resolution keeps on 1440p but when multistreaming on Youtube the Resolution on Twitch goes to 720p and on Youtube 1440p. I need both on 1440p

Can anyone help me?

Here are the details of the issue:
Settings: I have configured Streamlabs OBS to output at a resolution of 1440p for both Twitch and YouTube in the settings.
Internet Speed: I have verified that my internet connection is robust, with an upload speed that comfortably exceeds the requirements for 1440p streaming on both platforms.
Streamlabs OBS Version: I am using the latest version of Streamlabs OBS Ultra.
Hardware: My computer hardware is capable of handling 1440p streaming without any issues.

Despite these preparations, my streams on Twitch seem to be stuck at 720p. I have also verified my settings on the Twitch and YouTube platforms to ensure that the resolution is set to 1440p.

Please follow the steps below to refresh your connection between Streamlabs and Twitch. This refresh should allow new alerts to appear in your Recent Events and Mini-feed.

1. Log out of Streamlabs and all Streamlabs software that you may be using.
2. After logging out, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
3. Then find Streamlabs (Twitch Alerts) or Streamlabs Dashboard & click Disconnect.
4. Once you have done this, please log in to streamlabs.com or Streamlabs Desktop with your Twitch account

This will refresh your connection. However, events will not populate retroactively (so old events will not populate). However, this should resolve issues with them appearing going forward. I would be happy to test a "live" alert to your channel once this is done.

Not sure if anyone can help, or if this is even the right place to go for this kind of help, but if I try to stream Roblox, it just ends up being a white screen and I don’t understand why. If I stream something like Minecraft, Fall Guys, or reacting to a video, it is totally normal, but when I do Roblox, the screen is all white. I know Game Capture stopped working a while ago, so I had been using Window Capture. Window Capture stopped working, so I switched to screen capture today, and that still didn’t work. I also tried Game Capture and that didn’t work either.

The screen was all white, even when using Window Capture and Screen Capture.

I just don’t want there to be a possibility that I’ll never be able to stream Roblox again.

Hey all, have a dumb question to run by yall. i was just recording an important video, unfortunately i was a tremendous fool and did so with very little disk space lol so i hit the max after about 40 mins of recording. upon reaching the maximum amount it stopped recording and the resulting file will not play in different media players. its still a 2.15 gb file, so shouldnt some footage be recoverable? just curious if i can somehow or if when a video's recording gets interrupted like that its not recoverable. many thanks

I have custom CSS set up for my various alert variations, and there are a lot of them, but they all use exactly the same CSS settings. Any time I want to make a change to the style, I have to copy/paste the CSS to every alert and alert variation, which is very tedious and error prone. Is there a way to set a single custom css for all alerts and variations?

If this were something I only needed to do occasionally it wouldn't be as big of a hassle, but there are some elements I'd like to be able to change on the fly for particular streams.

Heya. I'm having issues with the Twitch Poll OBS Browser source not appearing correctly within OBS. When the poll is running, the actual text options are black on semi-opaque black. It can't be read on screen. Competed to every other streamer that I've seen, it seems like my appearence isn't normal.

Hi there! 👋 Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the end platform will resolve this. Please follow exactly all the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Including the log outs.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using. Also note you must not be live when you follow this guide. So if your live, end the stream first.

This channel is meant to get help from the community. If you need the official team, there is a header called "official support," and there they have you submit a ticket. The volunteers here are just that: volunteers. regular people who volunteer their time. Also, just leave it blank if you don't actually need to copy info. The chatbox is a widget. It even says it's a widget when you set it up on Streamlabs.com (which you would have to do if you were using OBS). So if you're selecting Streamlabs Desktop, you're just doing it wrong.

Also, I get that you're mad, but the way you are chatting in here at least from this message I wouldn't typically want to volunteer my time to help you either but you have rubbed me the wrong way.

You also could read #known-issues and see that the youtube chat has issues in general. If I were waiting a super long time for a response...I would probably start searching for answers, and if I write "youtube chat" in the Discord search bar, the known issues the fourth thing that shows up. most likely it's the youtube api thing, but you can always disconnect and reconnect to service to make sure. But tbh YT has been doing a bunch of jank stuff lately

replay buffer isn't meant to work like that. Doing 30-60 minutes would be a lot of time. why not just use recording markers at that point? If you can do 30 -60 minutes on OBS i would just use that then, cause afaik you can't really do that much on Streamlabs desktop

So, API is what one place will send to another place. So in this case, for every new subscriber, chat, etc. YouTube sends an API call to Streamlabs. However, Youtube has started doing a lot of rate limits lately (so like it's like back in the day when you had unlimited nights and weekends but only X number of minutes during the daytime that you could use and after that you couldn't use your phone anymore). In this case, YouTube's API call is super slow. Then it just builds up, and sends everything at once

The alerts and everything else work fine it's just the chatbox

so like each API call isn't the same. I just was trying to share that these all work in a similar way. but in this case, the YT api calls for the chats are just dumb

Well, at least I finally know what the actual problem is after a week of bouncing back and forth between here and obs studio support servers. Yea as I said I would have sent to support ticket but you need information from a copy of streamlabs which I do not use. So, thanks. At least now I have answers

legit i went there and you don't need to copy anything from Streamlabs. you select widget and not Streamlabs desktop

I need your help. I don't understand how to broadcast games with a camera on my phone. It seems to be there, but when I minimise the app on the iPhone, it's not in the broadcast

Cause with recording you HAVE to record the entire project, I record Rust and DayZ movies, where the content can be up-to 60 hours of gameplay = 2TB of storage. With OBS I was able to just record last 30-60 minutes instead of everything and mark it off.
