Correct. Cloudbot with Youtube works when you go live with a public stream. Cloudbot won’t work with a private or unlisted stream.

Nope, it’s not needed. My personally I keep the stream open until I can see that it’s responding to commands then I start my game. Sometimes it can take few minutes for Cloudbot to join your stream.

But once I see it’s responding, I quit the web browser and start the game.

• For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.

• For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
• For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.

Is there a setting in streamlabs that would cause the volume in my headset that I'm weraing to drop about 50% while I'm streaming? I only have this problem WHILE streaming Detroit Become Human. I don't have this issue streaming Wayfinder, Diablo 4 or Palia. And the funny part is, as soon as I shut down Streamlabs, the volume jumps back to normal again and I can hear my self clearly, which for me, is what I desperately need to be able to do, is hear myself.

I split my audio sources using audio input captures for each track - I split Discord, Spotify, game audio, etc so that I can choose what gets uploaded to the VOD/recording and can mute them individually. The problem is, now viewers can’t hear my follow alerts even though I can. I have main the desktop audio source muted intentionally so can’t figure out which sound source I’m supposed to capture in order to let the stream hear my alert sounds. I hope this made sense. Any ideas?

There's no audio source for that period, nothing lights up.

I would recommend making sure that if you have your audio inputs and outputs configured correctly in their properties, and then if you are hearing them but the stream is not, make sure it isn’t set to monitor (mute output)

That should help. You can disable psycho visual tuning, as it has been known to cause some performance issues with streams. If you check under the video settings you may see canvas size and scaled output, you can set your scaled output to 1280x720

Hello all, I went live last night but for some reasons my settings changed and I live streamed to my private account not my page which I streamed perfectly fine on the night before I have tried everything I can think of relining my Facebook account and double checking permissions but my page still won't show up in stream labs

Hello, something is happening that really bothers me when going live, every time I start the broadcast there is a place on the screen that I can't click on, how can I solve it?

I was having issues with my Nvidia NVENC H.264 and getting errors until I cleared cache and it defaulted to Software (x264). It was the only way I was able to go live.

When I used to other two options it was erroring out badly so I left it, but today I’ll see if I can switch my encoder to Nvidia H.264. I never had issues with Streamlabs until yesterday and I saw some changes that weren’t there before. I also got a lot of crashing too.

After doing everything I ended up updating it and the encoder was different but was able to get my stream in. Hopefully it all works today.

I tired the Dual option. It’s a good idea but I feel it’s buggy. It doesn’t bring everything I have on the horizontal version. My camera doesn’t show up and if I add it…… it adds another one to horizontal version. I’m going to watch videos on this and see if I can figure it out. Hopefully it’s just me but I doubt it.

I wouldn't recommend using it until it gets fixed, I was about to make the switch to obs but after my 3rd Streamlabs reinstall the bitrate issue was solved.

I know what you mean. I was running good the day before and then I saw I needed to update and only then things work but still had issues with the type of encoder I was using cause when I would use Nvidia it would make my stream lag every 2 seconds until I switch it to software.

I left the software encoder just to be able to stream. Let’s see if tonight I can use my encoder

Now after refiguring my setup, I had to disconnect my camera from my setup for a few minutes to move things around. However everything was turned off before disconnecting. I plugged everything back in, and now my source on streamlabs displays my capture card as just a black screen. It registers that it is connected, but there is nothing going through. could it be a setting in the GH4 that got reset, the HDMI port on my GH4 is faulty, could it be the capture card? I'm at a loss and I am very distressed over this. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

Probably the capture card. I have a lumix GH4 plugged into an elgato HD60 Pro and have never had an issue with it. You can connect the camera directly to a TV or monitor to verify the HDMI connection on the camera before having to replace the capture card

When streaming to kick and Twitch, lately I've noticed my twitch streams are dropping frames.

If I choose to stream to custom ingest and change the twitch server, it only allows me to stream to just twitch. Whereas if I use "recommended settings", I can add kick to the destination list and stream to both, but I can not adjust the twitch server settings if so.

Am I missing something? What is the default twitch server when using recommended settings? Am I able to adjust that AND multistream?

@olive hill All you need to do is go here on the Streamlabs website https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and click Merge on TikTok. Note that to stream to TikTok, you’ll need to contact TikTok to request a stream key; they have to approve your request - they are not universally available to everyone. Streamlabs has no control over that process. In Streamlabs Desktop, once you have your stream key from TikTok, you would log out in Streamlabs Desktop and then log in with your TikTok account.

Hello again. I've been keeping in contact with Streamlabs Support and watching the Known Issues channel. I see that it says "Sources missing from scene collection" has been marked as resolved, and that I need to do nothing, but they are still missing. I tried the steps provided to me by SLS (reinstall SLD by running the install file as admin) and that did nothing for me.

After a clean install of it under admin rights, my In-Game still looks the same as it did beforehand

A potential fix for this was rolled and all you should need to do is restart Streamlabs Desktop. If this didn’t resolve this issue, be patient as they are investigating this further.

Hello, I'm having a serious issue with my Streamlabs crashing. It's just gotten worse. What happens is that ONLY the stream preview window freezes up, but everything else appears to be functioning normally, but it completely ends my stream when this happens. When I close the program it gives me a crash message. It even does this when I'm not streaming and using the recording feature only. Where should I go for help on this one?

No you want it muted and output only if you don’t want to hear it. Then listen to your stream in your phone and adjust the audio level in streamlabs desktop for it

Sometimes it doesn't pick up the specfic window. I found that if you have the game running, delete the source and re-add it, it should grab it.

Well, the maximum for Twitch is 6000 and the maximum for Kick is 8000. YouTube has no real limit. But if you’re multistreaming, you’ll need to go with the settings with lowest limit, which is Twitch.

I have a problem with the recording:

1. Recording the image (regardless of whether it is a game or display) is played back twice as fast as mic sound (normal speed), the whole video is only half as long, so 2 hours becomes 1 hour of video.
2. If you stop the recording, the exact same time will be run again. To the left of the button, the time will start again and then stop automatically when the time of the video is over, and during this time the recording will continue and the recording will be added. The REC button then has a working circle during this time.
   Anyone know advice?

I'm here as i didn't find a way to solve my strange problem despite tried differents tips

When I use streamlabs OBS to stream my switch or my phone via my elgato : no problem
When I use streamlabs OBS to stream my webcam : no problem
When I use streamlabs OBS to restream a chrome page with text or photo : no problem
Each time I try to recast a video, if i stay on the website screen, the stream is ok but each time, i go back to Streamlabs, after 1 to 2 seconds, the restream turns black.

I tried differents tips (administrator run tips, desktop app tips,...) with ponctual or no improvement

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Hey all, has anyone ever had issues with their mini feed not working as well as alerts not showing up (ie new followers)? I can run the test alert just fine but when it comes to an actual follow no alert will show nor will anything show in my mini feed. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling as an admin, changing the Audio Monitoring from just Monitor to Monitor and Output, logging out and relinking my twitch as well as a few other things, but none of those seemed to have worked. Everything else seems to be working fine, audio, video, etc. I used streamlabs a bit earlier this year and remember it working just fine before and I really haven't touched any settings/havent changed much from defaults. The only difference I can think of is now I have two monitors (instead of one). Thanks for any help!

Hey Guys, I recently changed my bitrate too get higher Quality Streaming.

After changing my bitrate I noticed my Kick stream now consistently reconnects and disconnects.

My bitrate was originalyl 2500, now its at 4000. I know it can be handled and my comp is not overran, Im only using about 50% process/gpu power at most.

Hi folks quick question.

I use StreamLabels for my Twitch stream, and I have daily sub, daily cheers and a monthly sub counters set up.

I also started streaming on Youtube, and cant seem to find the same things.

I found Daily Super Chats.

I then, I believe found Daily Memberships under Session Sponsors. Seemed to work right on my stream today.

But I can not for the life of me, find a Monthly Membership/Sponsor anywhere. Am I just not looking at the right thing? Or is there actually nothing?

For today, I used the Membership Goal Widget from Streamlabs, but would rather use the Text from Stream Labels, since I have an ovelay I would like to have it be over.

iOS Mobile Streamlabs microphone absolutely refuses to work. It works on Camera app. I’ve turned everything off and on that I can think of. Turned microphone off and on in the app, restarted my phone, deleted and re-downloaded Streamlabs, turned off and on Streamlabs mic permissions, turned off and on my stream at LEAST 15 times, all to no avail… any suggestions? Hey guys, so I came across a new issue today after months of stable streams. The gameplay and video being output to my streams seem to be fast fowarded while the microphone audio lags behind. I tried setting up Dual Output setup in the time between my last stream and this one but only disabled some selective recordings and disabled dual output mode before starting this stream. I have no idea what to try and fix. I already removed my microphone from sources and readded it but I dont know why the game is speeding up on the stream. Any help would be apprecaited!

You might also try logging out in Streamlabs Desktop, quit Streamlabs Desktop, wait a few minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log back in and see if Streamlabs Music functions as expected.

Hi, folks. I haven't been able to find answers about this anywhere else, and was wondering if anyone else has run into the same problem. When I monitor/test my microphone in Streamlabs OBS via the Mixer, it sounds completely fine - it's nice and clear, the volume's perfect, no background noise. Then I'll use Streamlabs to record a game capture, or... any video, and when playing back the video the audio from my microphone sounds like I set the mic 10 feet away, and muffled, and not at all like it did during the test (I have asked friends in Discord VC if my mic sounds okay, and they have all said my mic sounds nice and clear).

Not sure exactly what the problem is, but recently, in the last few days, when I've streamed, the audio is in normal time, but the video cuts out every few seconds. When I re-watch the stream, the video is at 2 times the speed as it would normally be, so the audio does not match it in the slightest. Completely dumbfounded as to what happened. Thought it was possibly bitrate, but now I have no idea.

My internet is incredibly stable, so I know it is not the issue.

I could really use some help as I have absolutely no idea how to fix the problem.

Okay, I would go through the disconnect guide again. First I would log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right corner and choosing Log out.
Then follow the guide.
Then log out Twitch, clear the cache in your web browser, and quit the web browser.
Then wait a few minutes.
Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in.

I did everything above - logged out of the app, then website, then twitch, cleared my entire cache, waited about 5-6 minutes, logged back into the streamlabs app, then twitch, I see the streamlabs "connected 27 seconds ago" ... but nothing is updated on the streamlabs side in either the browser nor desktop app

@sterile minnow After a couple hours troubleshooting I figured out the issue and fixed it. When looking at my stats, OBS was only recording at 30 FPS but had a baserate of 60 FPS. I fixed this by doing this:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to "Video"
3. Under FPS Type Change to "Integer FPS Value"
4. Under Common FPS Value change to "60"
5. Change Integer FPS Value back to Common FPS Value.
6. Try a Recording to see if this fixed the issue.

My suggestions would be these:

Go to "Sound Settings" on your computer.
Check to see if your output device changed it. Depending on your microphone, your computer might be trying to output the sound through the microphone. Change it back to Realtek Audio or whatever if the standard for the computer you are using.

Next go to Streamlabs and open up Settings
Go to Audio
Set Desktop Audio Device 1 to either Default or whatever you want the output to be.

That’s can be anything sadly. There isn’t a definitive fix. Make sure that your bitrate isn’t exceeding 6000. Make sure the viewers don’t have an ad blocker installed and that they aren’t blocking cookies.

Hello I was looking to get some help with creating custom cloud bot commands for chat ( I am unsure if they can be integrated with channel points or not) but if a chatter redeems channel points for something that will result in cloud bot responding after the redeem and saying either the chatter failed or succeeded in doing what they redeemed the points for. Like in dnd when you roll a dice and see if you will successful preform that action or not.

is there a way to set up something like that?

I’d perform a clean install of the video card drivers. For a 4080 RTX, this should be the driver you need to download: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/211637/en-us/

Then I would switch your encoder to the regular NVENC; don’t use the (new) one. And then see how it goes.

I keep getting a yellow border when I try to stream any game

Yellow border is apart of Windows 10 capture hook, you can try using DXDGI for capture method within the Window source capture settings

The yellow border doesn’t show on stream and serves as a reminder that that window is being captured.

Question. My streamlabs keeps ending stream and says reconnecting my wifi is over 300 mbps and im also sitting right next to it ive also used an ethernet but it keeps disconnecting. Any ideas ?
