Thank you so much for the advice. I have tried logging out of all platforms and then logging back in, but it still does not seem to want ot update my information. Even when I try to add a "Most Recent Subscribers" label to my stream, it is not updating correctly. It shows a subscriber from 2 days ago, and we had a new subscriber today that does not appear in the window. However, the recent followers label works with no issues. It's very odd that one would work, but not the other.

I changed the graphics of the tip coins, but I cannot change the cup itself. Like not even to the options available. Like there is the whiskey glass vs the tall glass, and it won't let me change the cup at all for some reason. I tried via dashboard client and web browser.

Recommended bitrate values versus used resolution and FPS.

• For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
• For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
• For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

<Note: These values are based for single-pc streaming setup, using x264 veryfast preset>

Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.
If you get pixelations on your stream, this would mean there is insufficient bitrate to properly encode the stream for the given content.```

When I test my alerts with the test-button in Streamlabs Dashboard, I get the alerts in OBS Studio, but when I am live and people follow, subscribe etc on my Twitch, nothing shows up. 👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Anyone able to help me out setting up streamlabs console on a series x? I have all my SL stuff logged in. Switched the stream options to SL but then it says when I go live that I need to set up a subscription in or to use the service I’m requesting. I did. I started the 7 day trial and have customized my overlays and scenes and plan to pay monthly but it starts you on a 7 d trail first. So not sure what else I can do here. It was doing it last night and now today again.

oh YAY! Okay so if you navigate back to the folder where you got that from (C:\Users\yourUsername\AppData\Roaming) and replace the client folder that is already there with the older one it should fix it. It will also revert any changes made in the last two days however.

Roblox added an anti-cheat feature to their game a few months ago that broke the ability of the Game Capture source to hook into the game. You'll need to switch to Window Capture.

And in the future, you'll need the main Streamlabs Discord. This Discord is only for Streamlabs Chatbot support.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

Hello everyone! I'm reaching out to seek potential assistance. Yesterday, I streamed on Twitch for the first time, despite being more accustomed to YouTube. However, I encountered a significant issue. I didn't experience any FPS loss in the game I was streaming, but the stream appeared very choppy, around 10 FPS. Honestly, I'm not sure what's causing this issue.

So i am running two twitch accounts, one for myself, and one for the League im helping with. i went to sub to ultra, and accidentally connected my personal streamlabs id to this League account. now i dont have ultra on my personal account, but its active on the League account. how can i fix this?

im also looking to change the streamlabs ID email that is connected to the league account off of my personal email and move it over to the league email

You'll need to submit a ticket to have the Streamlabs Ultra subscription moved. Open a ticket via our secure portal: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

TIP: Log in at the Support site (upper right) and then start the ticket. Then you can return there and track the ticket if you want. Also, tickets are worked over email so they will be in your Inbox as well.

We can't offer an ETA on tickets. Us Volunteers don't even have access to that system. Be patient and they will get to you.

Another TIP: The first email to you from the system is automated and includes "helpful" links the system thinks might solve your problem. Don't click any of those links as that will close your ticket. You issue will require a human to make manually adjustments to your account. 😉

Could be a few issues. Maybe your bitrate is too low (shouldn't be obviously). What's your Internet upload speed and screen shot (from Streamlabs Desktop) Settings -> Video and Settings -> Output.

Also could be a degraded path between you and the Twitch ingest. I'd also see and follow the next post from the bot. TRhen post a screen shot of the results.

TIP: Pick many cities in your region. Like if you're in New York City, please be sure to select all the ingests in the east. Also be sure to use the Medium duration. Short duration sounds nice, like it makes the test shorter but it gives inconsistent results. Be patient and let the test run.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

There's something wrong with streamlabs dashboard. I tried to add more alerts and then, the scale oversized and their positions were off. I tried reseting the coding and put the original coding back in and the same problem persists. Can someone figure this out? I've been up all night trying to fix it and its not working.

No, those numbers look good as well. I'd guess your issue is when other's in house are uploading as well, thus reducing the available bandwidth. Nothing really we can do about that. Maybe ask them to upload later?

I wouldn't think so. I'd just make sure that you don't have anything open that you don't need for your stream.

Entirely possible. I'd also do a clean install of your Nvidia drivers. That resets the profile in the driver so if you've tweaked or changed any of the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, you'll have to redo those settings. If you haven't then no worries.

For the past two days or so, I've gotten the error that reads "Could not obtain your Custom Server info." on the iOS Streamlabs app when trying to do a screen recording livestream. Has anyone else gotten this issue?

More Details:
The issue occurs when I use an actual custom RTMP (yes I've triple-checked the info) and weirdly it also happens when I directly login to Twitch in the Streamlabs app. This means it's not actually a problem with 'Custom Servers' at all. The issue occurs a few seconds after the countdown to go live occurs on iOS, and the broadcast never goes live in the first place. I've also confirmed that my iOS device is connected to the internet, and that the signal is strong. The problem does not occur when doing a local recording, meaning it is actually an issue with broadcasting, not with screen recording itself.

No it’s not possible. YouTube just doesn’t send that as an event over the API. There is no way to detect a viewer on YouTube pressing the Like button.

Streaming to Kick: Make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080; ideally it should be 1280x720 as Kick will limit you to that if your previous stream has less than 3 viewers, and that your Bitrate does not exceed 8000.
Even then this connecting/disconnecting stream is very common with Kick and there is no real fix. It just that platform isn’t mature and they have lots of issues.

In your settings for output I believe there is a recording tab. If you select the same encoder as streaming it will use your streaming bitrate. Changing that value will allow you to set a custom bitrate for recording

Remember, for YouTube, Cloudbot only works if you are live with a Public stream. Cloudbot will not work with a Private or Unlisted stream.
Make sure that Streamlabs is a moderator on your channel and that Streamlabs hasn’t been banned, muted, or timed out.
Cloudbot also will not work with chat set to Subscribers only as Streamlabs will never subscribe to your channel.

So if your live with a Public stream and Streamlabs is moderator and is not banned then try and reset Cloudbot. 👇

Follow these steps to reset Cloudbot. Do not skip or shorten the waits.

1. Unmod streamlabs
2. Toggle Cloudbot off
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
5. Mod streamlabs
6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

Nope. Primary account has nothing to do with that. Like mine, YouTube is my Primary but Cloudbot works perfectly on my Twitch.

Just make sure you are live with a public stream, Streamlabs is a moderator and hasn’t been banned. Sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes after the stream start for Cloudbot to join your stream.

Ah. Yes, YouTube chat is only available when you are live, as opposed to Twitch chat which is always available even when the streamer is offline.

Each platform is different and work’s differently. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the differences between them all.

Yes, you have to be live so that chat will work. Elgato recently updated their YouTube integration and so far it’s now completely broken for me, but your mileage may vary on that.

Those appear to be okay, although if you're just recording, the bitrate of 3000 is way too low.

For only recording, I'd set your bitrate to something like 15000.

Do you have a video card in your PC? If so, I would use that as your Recording encoder instead of Software.

Hi there - I'd like to import a scene from one collection into a different collection and I'm having trouble figuring out how to do that in Streamlabs. Can this be done? If there was a way to copy and paste that'd be ideal but I don't seem to be able to do it.

You can't copy a Scene Collection to another Scene Collection directly (and you can't copy Scenes either) but it can be done this way: Create a new Scene Collection, create the Scenes themselves, then you can copy and paste each individual source in each Scene. I agree its a lot of work but its the only way to do it.

I have a little problem with my streamlabs. I was streaming last night and I got raided and a few followers. But when I looked at my alerts, it was playing 2 videos simultaneously. I put in the synthwave and retrowave alert but it also showed some bunnies popping out and some generic astronaut. I checked my dashboard, the only media that is uploaded is my synthwave and retrowave. How do I get rid of that other media that's playing in front of what I want?

Do you have Alert Parries enabled?

If the two events happened at nearly the same time, you might get two alerts trying to play at the same time.

If Alert Parries are enabled, a new alert to be presented will interrupt an alert that is already playing. With Alert Parries disabled, the new alert will be presented after any current alert finishes playing.

It could also be that you have separate Alert Box sources.

You might check and see if you have any Alert Variations for the two alerts in question. I'm not saying that would cause this but it might present a different alert image or sound than you were expecting.

Streaming to Kick: Make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080; ideally it should be 1280x720 as Kick will limit you to that if your previous stream has less than 3 viewers, and that your Bitrate does not exceed 8000.
Even then this connecting/disconnecting stream is very common with Kick and there is no real fix. It just that platform isn’t mature and they have lots of issues.

And if the issue still remains after that, I'd make sure that the Custom HTML/CSS option is disabled. This can happen if your have the Channels set to anything other than Stereo. In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Audio and check there. Commonly, we see people have this set to 7.1. Also make sure the Sample Rate matches what you have set in Windows; if your PC was built within the last year, this should be set to 48khz.

And make sure the correct device is selected and you have no filters set on that device in Streamlabs Desktop.

Oh its pretty easy. All you have to do is add the files in VLC and then save it as a Playlist file and then add that Playlist file using the VLC source.

It luckily worked with the reboot, I didnt trhink about that in this scenario, since it had come out of the blue.

Btw, I never got the file issue on the website solved, where it could only upload some png files, but not others and I did try in another browser. I got so frustrated that I ended up taking a break in my subscribtion, coz if I cant upload files when made in a certain way or they need to be under 2 mb now to be uploaded, then the site to make thumbnails is useless to me, that was what I used it for, so I hope they figure it out at some point, coz I used it so much, until something was changed. Files I have uploaded before I cant upload now, so something did change.. Just so you know that I never got any answer on that. And last I send in a ticket I nevcer heard back when I ended my sub, so I know I wont get one now, so I didnt sent one.

Oh the embedded chat dock? That object come straight from the end platform, we don’t assemble it locally. If it’s showing active viewers for your Twitch channel when you are not live, I’d reach out to Twitch on that. It could also be that someone is typing or just sitting in your Twitch chat for whatever reason.

Sorry, we don’t have a TTS feature for chat. I get chat can be overwhelming and there is not a good solution for that. Perhaps you can add a trusted friend as a moderator on your channel and they can help out with chat.

And while Streamlabs Desktop and Cloudbot don’t have the capability, Streamlabs Chatbot, which only works on Windows 10 and 11 and only works with Twitch and YouTube, does have an Events feature which you could use to do something when someone speaks for the first time in chat.

Hey everyone. I'm new to the server so hopefully this is the right place to ask about this. Routinely my webcam will crash and with it my mic. When this happens I also am no longer able to change scenes.

The fix currently has been refreshing the screen and/or logging out and logging back in. The fix is almost never a one time try and usually I have to do it several times before it starts working again.

Last night it happened 4 times in the first 2ish hours of my stream so I just switched over to streaming directly to Twitch from my Xbox. Anytime I'm streaming directly to Twitch from the Xbox the camera never crashes which leads me to believe it has something to do with Streamlabs Console or the connection between it and my Xbox.

My relevant specs are below:

• I've been streaming with Streamlabs Console from my Series X.
• I'm using a 6 year old Macbook Pro to access Streamlabs Console.
• Chrome is my browser.
• Webcam is Logitech HD C922 Pro Stream
• Mic is Blue Yeti

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need additional information. I like what streamlabs console offers but this has been pretty frustrating.

Question: So I am thinking between using the Streamlabs service for multistreaming or Restream.io. Restream takes one single stream and retransmits to all the platforms on the cloud...meaning if I am using 6mb/s to stream from my phone then I dont have to multiply that or increase bandwidth. Does the Streamlabs multistream service also do the same for me...or if I am using 6mb/s for streaming to kick and then want to multistream to another platform it doesnt cause me to then double my upload rate right?

Our multistreaming works the same way. One stream to us then we distribute to those channels merged in your account and that you enable when you go live.

The design of your stream is completely up to you.

Again, that’s all up to your design. You don’t need to upload anything, files for sources such as images you use in your Overlay are stored locally on your computer. Streamlabs Ultra is not necessary to design an overlay, scenes or sources. That part is all and will always be free.

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

You stream was not saved as a VOD even though you have VOD Storage enabled OR you are not able to manually upload a video? If the first, make sure you have VOD storage enabled and if so, reach out to Twitch for further assistance. If the latter, you have to be an Affiliate or Partner in order to have the capability to manually upload a video.

I'm trying to setup and edit my stream on my gaming PC "windows" but I stream off a Macbook Pro "I stream drums in a different part of the house" but no matter what I do I can't use or edit any of the scenes or use them. If I make a scene on windows then go to my MAC it's inaccessible, and vice versa, I do all my editing on my gaming PC, I only stream from my macbook since it's convenient, is there a way around this?

I've been using Streamlabs since the beginning and no problem with anything but I have a problem with subs alerts. When someone subs there is no alert when it is supposed to be activated and in the "analysis" part on the streamlabs site it says I have 0 subs. Nothing seems to be working when I try to stream to Kick. Set up the proper URL and stream key. Do you need to be logged in with the streamlabs ID? Because when I try logging in with it, it automatically assigns me to the twitch stream instead of the regular one

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

👉🏻 And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. The person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

A few things for Kick:
You have to go to your channel Dashboard on Kick and set the stream title and category.
In Streamlabs Desktop, make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080 or less. Ideally it should be 1280x720 as Kick will limit you to 720p if you last stream had less than 3 viewers.
And your Bitrate should not exceed 8000.

Then you can go live.

so in the windows bar it is saying "obs64 is using your microphone" however im testing it and no sound is coming out at all- nothing is muted, ive checked multiple tutorials and nothing seems to help, this is my setup

If you set up your live stream in YouTube Studio, there’s an option there for it. That option might be in Streamlabs Desktip but I’m at work and can’t verify. If there is a slider for additional or advanced settings, toggle that on.

Unless you have advanced settings changed to also monitor your mic you won't hear it. you will only see the activity in the mixer.

Thanks for the help it was in the youtube studio side. You have to "Go Live" then click on "Stream" then there is a slider if you scroll down that says "Unlist live replay once stream ends"

There actually are uses for capturing audio like that. Stating it doesn't need to be done doesn't fix it not working. perfect example. There are game chats(Destiny 2 is one example) that don't get picked up in stream software and the only way to capture it is to capture your source.

Best to just try and keep it as simple as possible, esp when there area issues at just getting audio working with the headset.

She didn't get any audio for her headset or mic. With the screenshoot provided it looked like the audio output source was there to fix her problem, which it most likely* wont. That was the sole reason i said what i did. No need to overcomplicate things.

From the sounds of things she doesn't need it right now so it can be removed.

im currently setting up Streamlabs desktop to stream to kick....was just wondering how i would exclude my music track from saving to the vod for kick? anyone know? i know how to do it for obs and twitch but can't seem to get it to work for streamlabs and kick

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

I'm using custom CSS for the Chat widget. I've only changed the font import and the font family, and added "text-transform: uppercase;" to the code. Currently, the username is on the left and the comment is on the right. How do I get it to look like a normal chat instead of being separate?

I'm on mobile Streamlabs. Sometimes my phone audio be emitting a crackling sound when playing music or audio from a game I'm playing. It only happens during livestreams. It never happens off-stream. I dunno what's up with that. Anyone else having this issue for their mobile streams?

Is this something for using a smarthone as a cam? If so I believe SLOBS desktop only works with the mobile SLOBS app. I could be wrong though.

After looking it up I'm going to guess it is because it is a competitor plugin that it doesn't get picked up. SLOBS has it's own backround removal and if you have an nvidia GPU theirs is built in.

I was having issues this morning with an Elgato Product. During the trouble shooting with Elgato they had me remove my NDI Source and readd it... upon readding the source the source no longer works. It doesnt give me a box and OBS Link Doesnt turn blue

It works in OBS but no longer in Streamlabs... I have also fresh installed Streamlabs Desktop for Mac and I can add an NDI source but nothing happens after
