Hey, I have a problem where it doesnt display new followers during my stream. It does in fact display new Subs I get. Also it doesnt show the new follower on Recent Events on Streamlabs and on Streamlabs OBS just the subs. I already tried logging out of everything and disconnecting Streamlabs from Twitch and then reconnecting it but it still doesnt show the followers on recent events

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

At this time, Streamlabs doesn't have an estimation of when we'll have native broadcasting to Kick.com. In the mean time, you can stream to Kick via Custom Ingest, here's a guide to get your started:

Very strange. If you go to the Sound Settings in Window and test the Microphone, does it pass the test there?

Then the issue is not in Streamlabs Desktop. I’d suggest that you go to Device Manager and remove the microphone device and shut down your PC. Then unplug the microphone and boot your PC. Once your PC is fully up, plug in the microphone and let Windows detect it and set it up and then test it again.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Okay, the only the thing to try is to shut down your PC, pull the power cord from the cable modem, leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, plug the power cord back in, once the cable mode if fully back up, boot your PC, and finally try the Twitch Test agin.

If you still have Quality scores of 0, you’ll need to reach out to your ISP. You’ll need to tell them your are trying to live stream to Twitch and cannot connect to their ingest server.

the issue is that donations work, and subsribers only when the test alert is sent

Yeah it does show subscribers in the event list ( i just don't see the last one from few minutes ago but the other ones are there on the list)
The only ones missing in the list are from the unlisted stream (maybe that can't be tracked or something) but the ones from the real live are on the list but didn't show up on the screen

Well, I didn’t know that upfront, sorry. For the source where you ant Subscriber alerts, make sure they are enabled n the filter.

And make sure the Custom HTML/CSS option is disabled.

That shouldn’t cause this issue as far as I understand the system.

I’d try removing that source, restart OBS Studio, and add it back. If the issue persists, then I would submit a ticket: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Or in the Properties for the browser source, click the refresh cache button and tick the reload/refresh cache when source becomes active option.

Hello! i just want to ask something about my experience last night when streaming. I stream using OBS + streamlabs stream labels, recent events. when someone followed me, i noticed streamlabels was asking me permission to accept the follow. i dont have a screenshot with me since i was in the middle of streaming last night but did anyone encounter the same problem? it's a bit of a bother to be honest and i'm not exactly sure what i did to make it like that.

I am Having an Issue with my stream Disconnecting Yet at times Streamlabs will tell me I am still live and other times it tries to reconnect. Sometimes I look over and see the Green Go Live Button. 1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

Go to the Recording tab, choose the AMD HW H.264 encoder. Change the Rate Control to CQP and set the CQP Level to 15. And if it’s there, set the Keyframes specifically to 2.

Yes, that looks good. One other setting I recommend changing is the Recording Format. MP4 okay but very prone to file corruption. If you have software that can read them, I’d switch to MKV.

So run a test recording and see how these settings work for you.

The lagging I am referring to that the video doesnt look smooth, not like skipping frames I think?

Then I’d consider lowering the Output Resolution to 1920x1080.
Or you can set your monitor refresh rate to 120 and set the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to 60 and cap the in game fps to 60.

Basically make sure the monitor refresh rate, fps in Streamlabs desktop, and in game fps divide by 60 evenly.

Tweak the CQ Level. The file size will grow larger though.

Lower CQ value means larger file size. I’d not go lower than 13.

22 is generally acceptable, 16 is very good/visually lossless, 12 should only be used if you plan to edit later, to mitigate re-encoding artifacts. Anything lower than 12 should not be used unless you know what you're doing and why, as the file sizes get GIGANTIC very quickly.

I lowered that and it did not seem to affect the sharpness of my crosshair in the middle of the screen, I changed the color of it to white and it made it more sharp in the recording somehow?

Hey im in need of help please, I am Having an Issue with my stream Disconnecting Yet at times Streamlabs will tell me I am still live and other times it tries to reconnect. Sometimes I look over and see the Green Go Live Button. I have cleared my Caches in my browser. I always restart my pc before a stream and have even restarted my modem and router. any suggestions. Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

If you have a ticket open, it best to wait on that. I don’t want cross wires with the staff. Only thing I would suggest is log out of Streamlabs Mobile, force quit Streamlabs Mobile, wait a few minutes, launch Streamlabs Mobile, and log back in.

Having issues streaming my game using window capture, it used to work perfectly fine, didn't change anything just woke up one day and it stopped working.

Its streaming a "fixed" image of the game, whatever i do in the game it stays stuck "in the moment" and nothing changes.

I tried reinstalling streamlabs, running as admin, updating gpu drivers, a lot of things. Been having this issue for 3 days now. streaming on windows 10 capture method works but i despise it because of the yellow border.

Afternoon, I've only gotten into streamlabs yesterday so i apologise in advance if i may have missed something.

I am using the mobile app (android) of streamlabs as to stream from my phone onto Twitch. I set up everything yesterday night and ran a short demo stream to test everything. This stream worked perfectly on that night. However the following morning, when i was going to do an actual stream, this was no longer the case.

My current setup has streamlabs recording my screen. The preview indicates that it's working however once i open Twitch to view the stream, I get nothing but a black screen. No audio, no nothing. I've cleared both the cache and data from the app, restarted my phone and looked through all the settings on both streamlabs and twitch. But the issue persists, has anyone else encountered this and if so is there a solution?

the audio comes through in sLabs, but it's not on twitch.

hi there! so I just got a custom stinger transition made for me for my stream, I went to go input it into Streamlabs, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to make the image not entirely cut out the background in the stream, I’m not entirely sure how to explain it right, but I want my stinger transition just start in front of my scene and then when it gets to the part where the steamer transition covers my entire scene it would switch scenes to the next scene, and then when it would start to go away, it would have the second seam in the background instead of just making it a black screen to the scene where it flickers

I am having issues upgrading to Ultra. When I click 'Upgrade to Ultra' it says 'Welcome to Streamlabs Ultra' even though I do not have a membership. If I click back on Chrome, it will then give me the screen to input my card information and sign up for Ultra. However, when I do that, and hit 'Confirm' it just takes me back to the 'Welcome to Streamlabs Ultra' screen and when I check my memberships I still do not have an Ultra membership. Hey all! I was just testing out the new Apple Silicon release of Stream Labs Desktop and with my preliminary testing it works great! I only saw 10-11% CPU usage on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro (though my target streaming machine will be my M1 (non Pro) Mac mini once I get that setup in order again) when doing a test stream to Twitch just now, but I have a question...

I was firing off some test StreamLabs alerts during my aformentioned test stream I did, and my viewers could hear the audio clip attached to the alert, but not the alert itself. Its stacking order is fine as it works offline, but to note I imported settings from OBS Studio, which is using Browser Source versions of the same widgets natively available in SLD. And no I'm not asking support for OBS Studio, but is the fact that I imported assests from OBS Studio causing the alerts to not display properly on a stream?

Somehow a recording works fine with the imported assets (scenes etc), so I'm confused.

Oh and before anyone gets on me about Mac gaming, I'll be capturing console games via my Elgato Game Capture HD 60X that works natively on macOS and OBS Studio (and I assume SLD as well) sees it as a capture device. I won't be streaming anything from my Mac itself, at least not right now. I've yet to test that.

I have an issue with streamlabs Spin Wheel. I wish to create one for my next channel but when I save my new Parameters and click “Launch”, the wheel does not change. I have addressed this issue to other streamers. Their wheels work fine and, according to them, I’m doing everything as they did.

Does anyone know if there's been an update to any of the TTS voices, or where I might find more information about them? In a stream I manage, the TTS "English (GB)" voice no longer functions the same way it did prior to Friday (8/25/23). We used a lot of the quirks of the voice for inside jokes like continuous run-on vowel noises, but now the voice says each thing separately. If anyone knows where I can find more info, or an easy place to test that exact voice, it would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

I would have no way of determining that. It would depend on the settings you use and the length and of the live stream.

Can you elaborate on this? The Alert Box doesn’t depend or work from commands. Commands are a feature of chat and work through either Chatbot (Twitch or YouTube) or Cloudbot (Twitch, YouTube, or Trovo).

Hey there! I'm a music producer and Youtube streamer. Lately I've been having the same problem both with OBS and Streamlabs where after sometime my computer audio will stop recording on either app (it will just "not sound" anymore), or my microphone will start cutting a lot to the point where you can barely hear me

I've tried using multiple audio interfaces (both a Focusrite Scarlett Solo and an Universal Audio Apollo Twin X) and no audio interface and it makes no difference.

This issue usually happens faster on Streamlabs. On OBS it used to take me about an hour of recording/streaming so that either of these things would happen but now it takes like 15 minutes of recording (then I need to close the app and re open it again). Same happens with Streamlabs but I always got the impression that it happened "faster" or more frequently on this app

Every time I attempt to change the default cam from my integrated camera, to snap cam, it resets it back to the integrated camera. Well the problem is, that isn't not all files, I could fine upload the logo (png) but then it wouldn't upload my screenshot (also png ) tried and tried and then I did the logo again and then there were two files of the logo, but the screenshot was not there.
And after then cut the edges to make the photo smaller (it was already smaller than others I have uploaded before) it then uploaded that file.

Okay what you need to do is logout of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your PFP in the upper right and choose Logout. Then clear the cache in the web browser and quit it. Then logout in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then follow the guide posted by the bot below. After that guide is completed, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your new Twitch name. Then see if commands work in your Twitch chat.

Hello! On my streams, I have things set up where my YouTube superchats appear on screen when I receive a donation, it will show the message text on screen. It can be hard though to read the text as there may be something on screen behind it when it appears. Is there a way to set it up so there is a solid color behind the message text, to make it more legible? I've gone through all the superchat alert options in my Streamlabs dashboard but see no such option, only to change the color of the text itself. 1. for custom image - not to the jar specifically but in widget settings you can click on images to customize the tip animation image itself. Additionally, if you go to Themes = Widget you can download specific widget theme to apply to your alerts, jar etc (the image attached is the example of widget theme i downloaded)

2. for this question can you try incognito window? and maybe log out of your Twitch account and log back in, then do same on streamlabs dashboard? there might be some sync issue, esp if you haven't been streaming actively on Twitch recently.

4. Click on "Confirm & Go LIve"

# Please note that at this time, the requirements needed to go live to TikTok are: 
- Must be 18+ years or older 
- Must have at least 1,000 followers

If you don't meet those requirements you won't be able to get a stream key at the moment.  In the next iteration of our integration, the requirements will lower the minimum age requirement from 18+ to the region’s minimum age. We do not have an estimated time frame for the next iteration.

@gritty isle Ok. I'm not sure what is going on now. My streamlabs has been doing stupid stuff lately and it's driving me nuts. On the left pic, those are the tags that I have in my twitch. I have removed thema nd readded them idk HOW many times. But steramlabs keeps picking up the tags from a previous stream. What gives?

I’d clear them out in the Twitch Video Producer and see if that helps. I’ve not run into that issue before. A log out and log back in might help as well.

Sadly I don’t have that kind of setup. You might they going into Device Manager and see if you can see the card there. If you can, then remove that device and reboot and let Windows detect it and set it up again.

Also, it DID NOT changed Output (such as Twitch VODs), but my audio output "CABLE input" had been "forgotten" by the Streamlabs Desktop, which made me go into it's configurations and change again to remove channel 2. This is also a reminder for streamers whom uses Twitch VOD to turn off the channel 2.

Quick question, i just switched accounts in streamlabs, because I've got some weird people on my other account. I just logged in and see that all my overlays are not there, it seems they are locked to a certain account. May I ask if there's a way to import them? Without doing everything from scratch again

Sorry to hear about your account. If you go to settings> Scene collections > Export on your old account, you should be able to export your scenes. Then on your new account, go to Settings > scene collections > Import and select the file you saved out.

Keep in mind not all sources can be exported, so you may have to add some things back in. But it is better than starting from scratch!

Anybody got any recommendation with streaming on a widescreen monitor?
Usually you're streaming at 1920x1080 px but I'd be streaming on a 2560x1080 screen (which iirc casues the viewer to have black bars on both sides of the screen)

Hi guys, are Streamlabs Desktop and Streamlabs Console two completely different services? I set up my own overlays and custom notification on desktop (it took me couple days…) today I wanted to launch console stream but I was forwarded to Streamlabs Console website, which is extremely limited in comparison to desktop version 😕

Hi all, was hoping I could find some help with an issue I'm having. Not sure what's going on, but I'm suddenly unable to move sources in the source list, and the delete key also seems to not be working. I've restarted Streamlabs and my PC several times and dug around looking for solutions. Any help would be fantastic!

So it looks like with window capture and a Desktop windows 10 computer, the only way to get rid of the border is to use "Bitbit" mode. However depending on the window you are trying to capture, it may just become a black box.

It may be worth trying game capture or display capture as a workaround depending on what you are trying to capture.

Hi Maeven! Other people have had this issue. Out of curiosity, are you on 1.14.0? And if so, when you open up your settings, are the settings under general settings missing?

Okay! I believe this is related to another issue that will be resolved in the morning. If you would just like to wait for that fix to be out, there should be nothing for you to do on your end.

If you need to make changes, another user was able to successfully fix theirs by clearing thier cache. So you can try the following:

Steps to clear Streamlabs Desktop Cache

1. Copy: "%appdata% " then Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, Press CTRL + V then Press Enter
2. This will put you into your roaming folder, scroll down until you see " slobs-client "
3. Rename it to " _slobs-client "
4. Restart Streamlabs Desktop as Administrator when launching

If that still doesn't work ( or if something unexpected happens) you can revert back deleting the new slobs-client folder, and renaming the " _slobs-client " back to "slobs-client"

• For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
• For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
• For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

<Note: These values are based for single-pc streaming setup, using x264 veryfast preset>

Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.
