The analytics shown in the Dashboard are for whatever platform you are logged in the web site with. If you were multistreaming, you can quickly swap to another platform by clicking your PFP in the upper right of the web page then click where the current platform is show, then choose another platform.

Hey. I know this isn't specifically a streamlabs issue, as it's more so of my own personal, but every time I open streamlabs, my audio output cuts in and out consistently. Has anyone else ever experienced that?

Does anyone know why when I add a particular sound source with Application Audio Capture (Capture specific audio from an application) sometimes it does NOT detect the sound? Also if it does, if I restart streamlabs it doesn't detect that sound again? I always have to add another application audio capture... I'm trying to do a test stream on another twitch account so I don't notify everyone to watch me just testing a stream. I made a new account. But all my overlays disappeared. I tried to go to "Manage Scene Collections" but I can't find the overlay from my main account!

Just got back from a long vacation and live streamed for the first time in 3 weeks - noticing a few issues and wondering if anyone knows what is going on.

1. I have SLOBS Ultra, and multi-streaming to YouTube and Twitch no longer works. If I am logged into SLOBS as my YouTube account it will only broadcast to YouTube and not Twitch. And vice versa if logged into SLOBS as my Twitch account it will only broadcast to Twitch and not YouTube. I have SLOBS configured to broadcast to both, and was working before I went on vacation.

2. SLOBS no longer auto posts to Twitter (or now X). Seemed to be working before Twitter changed to X.

3. SLOBS multi-chat doesn't seems to be working correctly. The last stream 3 weeks ago did not display chat from Twitch - only YouTube.

4. SLOBS Cloudbot commands do not work on Twitch. The last stream 3 weeks ago did not allow Twitch users to enter a Give Away if using Twitch.

Best thing to resolve this would be to log out of Streamlabs Desktop, log in with your YouTube and then after a few minutes, log out and log in with your Twitch. That will refresh the OAuth tokens for both platforms which expire every 30 to 60 days. For Twitter, due to their API changes, there is now a pop out window you have to click to tweet. Sorry about that.

Settings like encoder, output resolution, bitrate, etc, are all locally stored. Scene and Source data is stored in the cloud but since you weren’t logged in, you’ll need to log in to get scenes and sources restored. The other settings you will have manually set.

You would need to log into Streamlabs Desktop with the platform your using, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo. If you’ve not done this before, and have just been using Streamlabs Desktop without being logged in, there won’t be anything in the cloud for your account to restore from. Have you never logged in in Streamlabs Desktop?

I’m sorry about that. What I would do is setup Streamlabs Desktop, then log in with your platform, then set up your scenes and sources and then wait a few minutes and then log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Wait a bit, and then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in. That’ll get your cloud back up working. I get that may take a bit of work but at least you’ll have the scene and source data backed up. And make screen shots of the important settings pages so you can ‘remember’ them in case you have to set it up from scratch.

hey there, I have a very beefy PC, but whenever I capture fullscreen or even windowed games to stream, my streamlabs OBS is 4-5 frames. Insaley laggy, but my game is running fine, and my entire PC is fine on my end

• GPU/CPU around 40-70% usage.
• 64gb of ram.
• 3080TI founders (12gb vram)
• 32 core processor..

Not sure why I can't stream games without so much lag.

• Internet speed is 400 download, and 180 upload.

Anyone have any help, or some ideas? The SLOBS keeps bottleknecing, and my PC is nowhere near being completely used on resources.

Streamlabs desktop is outputting and rendering at 60fps. It doesn’t output at any higher frame rate which is why you’re seeing stuttering. You’re rendering the monitors at 240fps which is 4x the frames that are not being rendered visible within streamlabs desktop. If you cap both monitors at 120hz, then the “frames” you’re seeing in streamlabs desktop won’t be as apparent that they’re being skipped during display rendering

Hello! Last night I set up my streamlabs alerts on streamlabs.com's dashboard.
Every alert was working (the animations and audible sound) while I was doing a test stream just last night.
I went to bed to get some rest and this morning I am double checking everything works before starting a stream, but my alert sounds are no longer playing!
Even when switching to a brand new default "profile or theme" , i still have no default sounds playing through any of the browser window's I've tried. (chrome, microsoft edge, opera, chrome but on my phone)
My obs browser source was detecting the sound last night and was playing it during my test stream. Last night I also set it up to monitor the source so I could hear it myself. I had friends watching to confirm also.

Are there any current outages related to the audio from alerts? It confuses me that even when clicking the launch button from the streamlabs web dashboard, the web browser that opens does not even play any audio.

In order to update the Tip URL after a Twitch name change, you need to log out of Streamlabs Desktop and quit it, log out of the Streamlabs web site and clear the cache in the web browser, and quit the web browser. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your new Twitch name. Then launch your web browser and log in at the Streamlabs web site with your new Twitch name and check your Tip URL.

Hey guys. I'm brand new here and hoping for help to fix a problem I have encountered. I stream off an xbox series X via an Elgato HD60X into a Macbook straight through Streamlabs Desktop and upload to Twitch. The problem I'm facing is that in the stream my gameplay keeps freezing in streamlabs. My webcam keeps running fine it is just the gameplay itself. Originally I thought it was my capture card but have now replaced it with the newer version and updated the drivers on it and still I keep running into this issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Streamlabs in hope this would fix it but to no avail.

I can see the 30 period streaming and requirements, thereof fineprint. Yet, my streams are too sabatoged. Yesterday had stream of about 5hours for it to be displayed as "STREAM ending" scene, everwhile had looked at streamlabs page and was communicating/voicing while looking at it. As well, today my stream did not effectively work on twitch, for means of having last nights different game theme/scene...specified changeover included prior to launching live stream. Multiple attempts to have twitch updated yet to no avail. That's a huge setback on twitch behalf.

Everytime I stream to youtube, a link appears on my channel that says "scheduled at (whenever i hit the "go live" button)." Is that something that youtube automatically does or is there a setting in Streamlabs that I'm missing? I'd like that to stop happening.

Dropped frames indicate a network issue, either locally or between you and the ingest. Nothing you can do in OBS Studio or Steamlabs Desktop to fix dropped frames. You can try shutting down your PC, pull the power cord from your cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 10 minutes, plug it back in, and once the cable modem is fully back up, boot the PC and try to go live again. If the dropped frames remain and you are streaming to Twitch, please see the next post.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

My streams get a bit blurry/pixelated in darker colors or when the colors change rapidly, for example if I turn my character a full 180 instantly. I have tried 4500, 6000 and 8000 bitrate, my internet speed is 1gbit download and 200 mbit upload, any suggestions?

Vsync wasn't enabled, 1080p60 is what I really want to stream on as I'm planning to edit it into a video later. If there are any other options that would let me keep the 1080p60fps quality, like the Vsync thing, please let me know. I have HOTKEY all DISABLED. But for some stupid reason, when I am playing my game Palia, (which uses the hotbar in the game with the number row above the alpha keyboard) a lot of time I accidentally hit the F1 key. And even though I have hotkeys all disabled, it switched my stream screen to the Starting Soon picture that I have set up. How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

• You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

Let me explain, i use an avatar for my streams (Pngtuber with Veadomini app) and when im playing a game on stream or have any app on full screen and streamlabs is on second plane, the app starts laggin BAD, but it's only when i start alt+tabing to check other apps.

For example, i start the game and all is normal, after i do a first alt+tab to check something and go back to the game, the app starts to laggin, the more i alt+tab the more lagged it gets, at a point when the app is literally running at 0.5 or 1 FPS, no jk, a make looks like my avatar is is freeze, but i know it's the streamlabs app the one how's lagged, cuz when i check on the other screen i saw the audio bars moving really lagged. But this is weir, cuz my stream and game is NOT lagged at all, only my avatar and the streamlabs app, this has become really anoying for me cuz when im over 2 hours of stream, the apps that i use just stop working. Its not a resources problems my pc is really well equiped, i have a Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM 3600mhz, Nvida Titan X (Pascal 12 GB), SSD NVM.2 with 3.2 GB write and 3.5 read, and when i check the usage of resources of my PC everything is pretty normal, CPU at 30% - 50%, RAM 50% - 70%, GPU 45% - 75%.

Okay, go into Hardware Manager and remove the headphones device then shutdown your PC and unplug the headphones from the PC. Boot the PC and then once it’s fully up, plug in the headphones and let Windows detect then decide and let it set up. Then try again.

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.

Probably you've had a Windows update which re-enumerated yoour devices. Please go into the properties for each source and choose the correct device.

Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP -> and choose the IP address for your computer, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10 then click Done to save the settings then try and go live on Twitch.

Then set it back to default and try again. If the issue persists after that, please log out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it, wait at least 5 minutes, launch Streamlabs Desktop, log back in, and try again.

It may appear like you lose colors, but that would just be the display. The software won’t lose the colors.

You choose the Monthly Plan and then you’re able to enter your billing details or not? If you are using Chrome or Opera, please try again with Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

im trying to stream on kick with streamlabs and im using a custom server type when i try to go live it just says "reconnecting"

That’s common with Kick. Make sure your Output Resolution is 1920x1080 (or less and not they may downgrade the stream to 1280x720 if your previous stream had less than 3 viewers) and that your Bitrate does not exceed 8000.

Even then sometimes Kick won’t start your stream. They are still developing the site and it’s not stable and buggy.

I’d perform a clean install of your video card drivers. Make sure you get the Game Ready driver and not the Studio driver.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Yes, Base Resolution can be left at 2560x1440. Change the Output Resolution to 1920x1080. That’s what resolution the stream will be at. Kick will not accept a resolution larger than 1920x1080.

Ah, let me guess, you don’t see all the subscriber alerts?

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

And sometimes YouTube will delay subscriber alerts as well.

We have no control over that.

Most overlays come with instructions on how to install or set them up. Usually you’ll need to add a Streamlabel source for the various parts of the overlay.

Your Scenes and Sources are backed up in the Cloud and will restore the next time you log in with the same account. The settings like encoder, bitrate, resolution settings, audio devices are not backed up in the Cloud so please screen shot oppressed make notes. Also, if you have any source with local files, make sure that afterwards those media files are in the same place as they are now.

Your Cloud data area was created when your first logged into Streamlabs with a platform account. Streamlabs ID is just another log in method. Having or not having a Streamlabs ID doesn’t make any difference to the Cloud backup system.

The tokens in Streamlabs Chatbot are for your streamer account, bot account, and Streamlabs account. Chatbot doesn’t sync or link to Streamlabs Desktop.
