Make sure that the Chatbox source is higher in the Source list than any capture source. On the Chatbox settings, make sure you have Custom HTML/CSS disabled. If the issue remains, in Streamlabs Desktop go to Settings > Advanced > Sources and disable browser source hardware acceleration and restart Streamlabs Desktop.

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
2. Click this link: https://streamlabs.com/logout.
3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in.

If that does not work, please quit Streamlabs Desktop and then go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

No, it hasn’t been removed. Make sure you are logged in with your Twitch. It won’t appear if your logged in with YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo. And it is not available if you are multistreaming. If you’re only streaming to Twitch and still don’t see the Twitch VOD track, then log out, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and then log back in. To log out/log in, see below 👇

Hi guys, not even sure if this is a problem relating to Streamlabs OBS but I dont feel like changing my streaming software to fix it, it seems like when using Firefox to view my stream I keep on getting : Your browser encountered an error while decoding the video. (Error #3000) my stream works fine in Twitch app and on Chrome and Edge but only firefox doesnt work, I've been told some friends of mine have issues with viewing my stream as well and get the same error. Any ideas ?

Also a mention that Firefox works fine viewing other streams its just when I try and view my own stream

For Twitch, it would be their Twitch channel name. For Youtube, also their channel name, the long string of characters that starts with ‘U’.

Make sure you’ve got your Tips setup fully. Make sure the Donation alert is enabled and that the Custom HTML/CSS option is disabled. If you have any incomplete or unknown alert variations for Donations, delete those variations. Also make sure you don’t have a minimum to alert value set.

If viewers send money directly to you on PayPal, Streamlabs can’t detect that. I’d make sure that you’ve published/posted the correct Tip URL. Are donation alerts the only alert not working as expected?

Hey guys, ive got a technical question. Ive downloaded a 5,10,20,50,100 sub alert variation and set it all up full screen. However now my original 1 sub is full screen as well. Is there a way to seperate sub browsers in obs so i can adjust sizes of full screen variations from the original . With my other browser sources ive just sized them smaller, if i size my massive sub gifts smaller then it will just be a non full screen moment. What do i do?

I've posted a couple of questions requesting that someone reply directing to my messages and haven't heard anything back. It's hard to track down answers in here when there are soooo many messages.

1. My stream doesn't let me type out what I want for the tweet. It just has a button that I click on that says tweet and that's it. When I click it, it's fine and posts a standard tweet that I can edit that way, but when I click on post and go live, I get an error message that when I click on see more, it disappears too fast for me to get a screen shot.

2. What is going on with my chat. The icons are all message up! I have tried adjusting the font and that doesn't seem to fix it. I have restarted my laptop and nada. Still the same.

Answer these in reverse order…

For the chat issue, please clear the browser cache in Streamlabs Desktop using the following instructions:

Clear your Streamlabs Desktop browser cache:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop
2. Hit Windows key + R
3. Paste this and hit enter %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser
4. Delete the cache folder
5. Start up Streamlabs Desktop (as admin)
6. Log in with Twitch

And for the tweet, the resolution now provides a pop out window that you can use to send your tweet. If there are issues with it, see if you can grab the error message and does the tweet actually post or not? #known-issues message

Just curious if anyone else has streamed to facebook and had any issues with Facebook not relaying info into streamlabs. Ie. ; Minifeed not updating when there are likes / shares / stars sent, alerts not being triggered, widgets not operating, etc.
I've tried almost every fix I can find in terms of re-logging / deleting cache / clean reinstalls. I have an open Ticket with streamlabs staff and hasnt been resolved yet, so Im coming here to see if anyone has had similar issues or fixes, it's been going on for a few weeks and it's horrible not having any visibility tracking.

you would use widget themes. you would click alert box > widget themes > and then you can assign different widget themes to different scene collections. Hey all, I'm trying to use Collab cam and it works to some degree: Guest can join, I can show him in my scene and his audio is coming through in the mixer and local recording - but no matter what I do, I can't hear him directly.

Many people left the same comment on Reddit or your YT video, but there was never a solutioon besides "windows ducking" but I don't even have that option as I'm on a Mac.

Is there any fix to hear my guest live on the stream with collab cam? I feel like this should "just work" tbh, as I can also see his audio coming in the mixer. And yes, audio monitoring for collab is set to "Monitor and Output"

What is your monitoring device set to in Streamlabs Desktop? you can find that in settings > advanced > audio

nope, apparently no change. It's a pity since I can see the volume levels in the mixer and when trying a local recording, the audio is there

If you are using Twitch, this is a result of their API changes a few months ago. Just log in again in the embedded chat dock. Nothing we can do about that as it’s a change made on Twitch’s end.

When you click in the embedded chat, it should prompt you to log in, just follow the prompts.

Yes, that’s the way it works. You have to log in order to use the embedded chat dock. Otherwise there’s no way for it to know who you are.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm using the Streamlabs mobile app on an Android phone. I want to use only the landscape scenes / overlays but stream Pokemon Go which is a portrait mode game. No matter what I do it keeps flipping the scene to portrait therefor not showing my landscape scene / overlay. Is this a new change? I did this before and never had this problem. The atem won’t switch scenes, but I believe with an atem you can grab the individual feeds for the scenes. It will require some experimentation

Hello Forum... I hope someone can help.. Im assisting a blind boy to stream music on twitch, but lately we have run into some issues that havent been there before.. Setup for streaming now is : IPAD Gen 9, Streamlabs for Ipad, Apple original USB/Lightning adaptor, Rode Rodecaster Pro, connected via USB to Apple adaptor. When we stream with streamlabs - after a few minutes - static sound begins to appear - also if all channels are turned down on mixer... If we close streamlabs and try tu use the Twitch app for stream, or records with garageband - no static issues at all.. I have tried everything - new ipad, new cables, new Ipad Adaptor (usb/lightning) problem resurfaces.. Im an experienced sound engineer so this really puzzles me... Thanks in advance

I want to have a custom command to display the top 30 users based on hours, using the $tophours() variable. However, every time I use that in a custom command, it always returns blank.

Hey I have a slight problem. I use a program called "Veadotube Mini" for my stream avatar and it works great on obs but when I tried it on streamlabs it didn't work. I just started using Streamlabs. I'm curious if you all experience a delay when changing scenes. It can take up to 10-15 seconds for a change to happen and seems to be in any scene where I have more than two sources, they can be anything from images to the camera to an alert. Task manager shows barely a blip of usage.

basically when you go live, you have to click on the tweet button. then it should pop up a browser for you to compose the rest of your tweet. From what i heard it's because Twitter has basically made it impossible to have it set up the way it was before so i don't think you need to relink

If you need to clear the tokens due to security reasons it can be done via https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/api-settings > API Tokens > Refresh

You will need to re-add all widget URL's, not just one. Otherwise they can't be changed.

Make sure that Streamlabs is not banned or muted on your channel. Clear the cache in your web browser and try again. If you’re using Chrome, switch to Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

I trying to stream a moded version of Minceaft (aka Forge)
But as soon as i boot up Streamlabs the game closes with is error being exit code : 1073740791
But i know if i record for an example with my graficard owen softwere it keeps running. but as soon as streamlabs oppens up down it gos.

here is a shot list of things that i try to do.

• Remove all the mods (still running Forge)
• Try on a nother verson un moded (vanilla)
• Try a nother peace of softwere (xsplit only for testing)
• Reinstall grafics driver
• Reinstall mincraft
• Reinstall my pc
• Uppdate both my pc and the grafics card

I opened up streamlabs yesterday. It states it is up to date. However the Application Audio Capture source button is now gone on. The old sources are there. But that button has been removed along with its mixer options. Any fix to that? I tried uninstall and reinstall.

I had that recently but for twitch. Due to a password change. I had to logout of streamlabs then log back in with the new password. That worked for me.

heello, I am trying to setup multistream to kick. Copied my stream url and stream key and when i go live it works fine for twitch and yt, but doesnt work for kick.

Make sure your output resolution is 1920x1080 (or lower) and that your bitrate doesn’t exceed 8000. I’ve seen lots instances where for some unknown reason even with the right output resolution and bitrate, someone just can’t their stream to start on Kick. I have been searching everywhere on the internet and I can't seem to find an answer. I have a base resolution of 3440x1440. I know twitch only allows 1080p. To my knowledge, 21:9 doesn't play nicely with 1080p, and I either end up with a squished stream or black bars.

Can someone help me out? I'm currently just keeping the base resolution and output resolution at 3440x1440. I don't want to sacrifice my gaming experience for windowed mode, but I'm at a loss for what to do.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

I was searching for a while for this kind of problem that I had yesterday.
I managed to use the Workaround BUT in that case we cannot integrate with Facebook actions (notifications, alerts, etc).
I have payed for Ultra in the past, but this time I didnt pay and glad I didn't, otherwise I would not get the due service.

Sounds like you have the alerts muted. Check the icons at the top right of the Mini Feed in Streamlabs Desktop. If one of the icons is a red speaker, that means the alert sounds are muted. Click the red speaker icon to unmute the alert sounds.

No, that’s not possible with Streamlabs Desktop. Your current method via the platform web site is the best way if you don’t have multiple monitors. If you’re streaming from a PC with only one monitor, try the Game Overlay option. Note that it doesn’t work with all games and requires games to be in window border less mode.

Monitor off on everything, none selected on custom audio devices, everything muted to make sure it's not me, recording device from within windows turned off. @graceful gale Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. this looks like you're in recording mode. but you can go to Streamlabs.com > log in > settings > account settings and link your twitch there.

If you're just trying to log in with twitch, then are you able to skip that? otherwise i would submit a ticket cause that's weird

Having a problem since yesterday that I am very frustrated about. Every time I open Streamlabs it acts like it is my first time using the program and it goes through the whole "welcome to Streamlabs" setup again. Even if I re login with Twitch and skip the rest of the setup, things are still messed up. I have to re-enable all the live performance stats on the bottom, and I can see my stream chat, but I am not logged in. What the heck do I to to fix this mess. Im about ready to dump this software and move back to OBS Studio again.

Ok. Soooo notification sounds.

I NEVER heard a sound whenever I get messages in my chat. And for whatever reason, sometimes my stream pic chanages from my live one to the intermission one or starting soon image. Why? Idk. But people start messaging me in my chat to let me know. I try my best to pay attention to my stream chat because I had it on my laptop on my left, but my main monitor is a 40" tv.

So what I wanted to know, is this. Is there a way that I can turn on notification sounds in streamlabs for messages in chat?

When I click "launch" next to the widget and type, the words never actually make it to the browser window, so it's not an OBS thing. In stream Labs on the left hand side you have in the bottom left hand side you would have different screens that you can switch from. Mine starts with live and that is the screen that you see during the live and then you can put one below it that is intermission or be right back or something of the sort. That's what I do with my stream. And I just click on whichever one I'm using at that moment. For example when I sign into Palia which is a new open Beta game that recently came out that I've been streaming like crazy, the sign in page has my email address so I just put the Be Right Back image on it fades into that image, I enter my password and then once I log into the game that's when I click on live on the left hand side bottom and my live image switches to that.

Regarding Chatbox sources --- is there a way to set up different "Font Size" sources for the same Twitch chat? I have created the "Chat" source twice for the purpose of two different sizes (for example- in game chat versus a larger chat box on a Be Right Back screen).

These two sources are able to be copied and have their size dimensions adjusted without affecting each other, BUT the "Font Size" is tied across all of them.

Can anyone assist with the possibility of un-linking the Font Sizes?

Having a weird issue i've never encountered before.

I use an Astro Mixamp TR (USB mixer, gives me an Astro Headphones output for desktop and game audio which is my Default Device, and an Astro Headset output for voice comms which is my Default Communications Device on Win 10).

Everything in SL Desktop used to work fine with this setup, but now my "Desktop Audio" source that pointed to "Default" no longer works. Changing it to Astro Headphones directly does not work either.

If I turn the USB mixamp off, then SL Desktop does pick up Desktop Audio when my PC automatically falls back to my Speakers as the Default Device. But then i can no longer use my headphones while streaming. :/

All of my scenes were set up with this working, but on SL Desktop 1.13.3 it no longer seems to work

Your only audio source with a GoXLR should be broadcast stream mix. You need to disable all of the default audio devices in the audio settings and add audio input capture and select Broadcast Stream Mix.

Hi guys! I just joined here and also just started using Streamlabs. I am pretty much "setuped" but I do have a question about audios.

1. Is it possible that when switching scenes (ie. "Playing" to "Stream Paused (with bgm)"), the audio will crossfade and not just jump?

2. How do I mute other applications if I'm on "Stream Paused (with bgm)"? In my case, I'm playing a game that still plays audio even when on background, so if I switch scenes to the one that has bgm, both are playing at the same time.

I've been using streamlabs web page for several months. And I use OBS studio to stream to multiple platforms using streamlabs stream key. I stopped streaming for a month and now my OBS studio is updated to a new version 29.1.3. And now I cannot stream using streamlabs key I can stream to all platforms singly using their stream key.

1. Platforms I have toggled on Is Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, Trovo, Kick & Dlive. On Streamlbas multistream settings .
2. I do not use the Streamlabs Desktop just OBS Studio. And it was working before the last time I went live a month ago on OBS studio with one of the 28 version. I have tried going back to older versions of OBS studio from 28 versions to 29.1.3. And trying to run OBS studio as administrator. Before when I had a problem all I had to do is reset stream key and it would fix the issue this time I have reset string key four times and no luck.
3. I receive no errors and I check the platforms intended pages and broadcast isn't showing up.

You have the hardware to run it weird. What is your internet speeds? You can see the performance at the bottom left corner, so it will tell you if you need more bitrate or cpu issue ram issue ect. It will be the three bars next to the bell notification symbol.

Yeah I've never ran into that issue. and your download and upload speed isn't bad either.

You’ll have to contact TikTok to request a stream key. It’s completely up to TikTok to approve and grant that. Streamlabs has no control over the process.

hey guys didnt there used to be a way to scale video sources in any way we wanted and not locked to scale equally?

trying to stream from a c920 to Twitch and the resolution is ass even tho it looks fine in Stream labs

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

And remember that this setting on your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

@left geyser Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. Make sure your bitrate (Settings -> Output) does not exceed 6000. If you're a Twitch Partner, you can go up to 8000.

If you still have issues, try this:

1. Log out of Streamlabs Desktop (see next post).
2. Go to your Twitch channel and reset your stream key.
3. Wait at least 5 minutes.
4. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in.

Hello, I'm helping a friend troubleshoot their stream.
Their streamlabs keeps crashing with an error message that says: The application just crashed, would you like to send a report to the developers?
The log file has 30k+ lines of audio_monitor_init_wasapi: Failed to initialize:
there's also an error message from NvidiaShare.exe that says The exception unknown

I tried searching for the fail to initialize message and didn't get any hits, but does this sound like a familiar issue to anyone?

hey guys, I have a question hopefully someone has had an issue with before as my googlings have proven to be relatively useless so far. I'm using streamlabs console and running my microphone and camera through my PC. Yesterday my camera and mic removed themselves from the stream about 50 minutes in, which was a bummer, but my main issue is today the audio cuts out every 2-3 seconds and stays off for about 2-3 seconds. This is a total audio loss from both my microphone and the console, and I really can't figure out one way or another what's going on. I'm using an Xbox One if that helps at all 😄

if you were using it on obs you can just copy the url you add in obs and add it as a browser source in streamlabs that it will work as it would in obs.

Setting up stream now to test, will report the results. I’m not using a capture card or anything though, just streaming directly from the console to streamlabs using Microsoft’s built in software. so the only thing plugged in computer side for audio is the microphone, which confused me as to why they both went out

Switching usb audio mixer port seems to have worked for now. I used to stream straight to twitch with everything plugged into the Xbox but the experience is so terrible and riddled with constant issues that’s why I got other equipment and started using pc to run some of it, better audio quality so far besides random setup issues 😄 Ty for the assist

If they don't appear in the game, make sure the game is running in windowed full screen mode. There are some games that just don't allow the Game Overlay to work.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then make sure that Streamlabs Desktop is not running and switch the default web browser to something else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

I've got a unique issue. I've tried searching through the forums and community help center stuff and have not seen something address this. Hi, my viewers are having trouble loading the cloudbot website. Last Sunday using loyalty points worked, and as of this weekend it doesn't. Has anything changed? I will only add that Cloudbot is an active moderator all the time - he reacts to commands, displays timers, etc.

For now all you can do is stream to Kick via Custom Destination.
