Sorry if this isn't allowed here, I wanted to show the issue I was having. This is what happens with my alerts, they load like this. It doesn't matter what animation I use or orientation of the alert etc. All of them do this, instead of just loading properly. If anyone has any ideas, that would be hugely appreciated. Also make sure the Cloudbot has been made a Moderator on your channel.

Open your windows start menu and search for "default apps". It may be different in Windows 10 and Windows 11. Once you find the default apps section, you'll want to close Streamlabs Desktop and change your default browser to a new browser. For example, if you're currently on Chrome, you'll want to change it to Edge or Firefox.

Then once you've changed this, reopen Streamlabs Desktop and see if the same issue occurs when attempting to log in.

Hello I used streamlabs in the past on twitch with no issues when it came to alerts on screen. However, I recently switched over to YT for streaming, and the alertbox does not work for YT subscribers.

I looked into it, and the only advice I found was that it’s the viewers privacy setting preventing the alert. However, I was testing on a new account, and even with the privacy setting off, still no alerts.

So there seems to be something I’m missing. I was thinking my subscription alert is set up for twitch subs rather than yt.

Does anyone know how to get stream labs to work on Xbox? I've done all the steps and it still says I need to link a subscription, I have no idea how to do this, I've looked on my phone app, computer app, website, and Xbox itself but nothing, I can't download anything on Xbox either because Xbox doesn't have a streamlabs app. Does anyone know of a fix?

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

I am trying to connect my accounts and it is saying that I am already connected to another account. Well I logged in with youtube instead of stream labs id to see if that was true and it brought me to the same account. I went to youtube and disconnected streamlabs from the connection. Hi everyone, can someone please assist me in fault finding? I stream from streamlabs to Kick. My native settings are 1440p, my output is 1080p 60fps.

I have never had issues, the issues only started yesterday. My internet speed is 250mb up and down. Test show 250 with a 8ms ping.

As of yesterday streamlabs is only outting out 720p60fps and when the movement of the game starts picking up the stream becomes pixelated and blocky.

My settings are still at 1080p and kbps set to 6000.

Should I be looking at my isp? Or is it something in streamlabs that I am now overlooking?

Hey everyone quick question, I'm trying to get my alertbox to play on its own audio channel. Separate from my audio output. I have 'Control audio via Streamlabs Desktop' enabled, so I can see the Alertbox audio in my mixer. However it still comes through on my audio output capture & I'm trying to figure out how to separate it. I have 3 options for it, Monitor off which gives zero audio, monitor only (mute output) which lets me hear it but it still comes through on the audio output capture. If the output is muted, no audio at all. Then finally Monitor & Output, which again plays on both. I'm just not sure how to actually get them playing separate, without the Audio Output capture interfering.

Uh weird thing so I cant see users info on twitch if I try to ban them or what not? Also doesnt seem like streamlabs is telling me on who the first time chatters tho this needs to be tested more.

Hi again everyone, so I managed to figure out how to split my alertbox audio away from my audio output capture. I hear them perfectly fine in my recordings/streams, but I cannot hear them myself through my speakers or headphones. I can see they're being picked up fine in the mixer, I'm just not hearing them myself. I have everything set up the same, I just can't hear it. For 2 days the program worked great, but then day 3 hit and i could only get 5 mins in and it would freeze. Its now day 7 and im having the same issue... if youre using sounds and alerts from something like soundalerts . com, you need to press the + sign in your sources box and add a browser source. Then on the sound alerts page you copy the source url and add that to the browser source. If that makes sense...

i had that issue when i wasnt logged onto twitch, i had to log off the streamlabs twitch in the bottom left and retype my user name and pass, then it worked

So whoever is subscribing needs to change their settings so their subscriptions are publicly viewable. If they are set to private then the API doesn’t receive the data.

In addition, if they’re set to public, the API can take up to 4 hours to send information to streamlabs.

Clear the tags from your creator dashboard and then relaunch streamlabs desktop. When you click go live and it asks for tags, make sure there are no invalid tags

Also make sure the Cloudbot has been made a Moderator on your channel.

Hi! I just got affiliate a few days ago and had a few people sub yesterday for the first time, but none of those subs are registered anywhere in streamlabs. I am streaming on twitch with OBS and using streamlabels to keep track of follows and subs. The Recent Events dashboard on the streamlabs website doesn't show any subs, but it shows follows I got a few days ago. The Analytics page is also very outdated, with the newest session showing being from july 6th, even though I've gone live many times since then. The Subscriber History is just an empty page, so it seems like streamlabs isn't getting the info from twitch somehow. My alerts are all working fine when I run test follow/test sub. I have tried logging out and back in to both twitch and streamlabs, but that made no difference. I googled around and found a few people with similar issues, but no real solution to the problem - some of them said it just solved itself after some time. Thank you in advance for any help or tips to solve this!

Webcam problem: when I launch Streamlabs my webcam never automatically shows even though it should.

The only way to start the webcam is to click on "Open Source Properties", then the webcam starts working. Otherwise it stays off.

With Chatbot, you need two channels, one for the streamer and one for the bot. It’s probably replying as you because you have the streamer account as he bot account. Chatbot will never reply as Streamlabs as you won’t ever be able to generate a token for that account.

Okay so im having a really weird issue, My mic audio is fine when im selected on the streamlabs application while streaming but as soon as i start Diablo 4 my mic audio instantly goes dull and really hard to hear. i have tried every sound option on windows and checked all diablo settings to see if maybe something would be interfering there but no avail. Click the cog icon and make sure your mic and game audio are set to what you use to talk and hear. If that doesn't fix it make sure everything you use is set to default communication device in windows sound control panel

Hi! I have sort of a technical question that I'm hoping someone can help me with regarding Cloudbot commands and YouTube chat... I would like to create a custom command that calls an external API and pass in to the API call a parameter that is specified by the user when they type the command. Specifically, I would like the user to be able to type a command, followed by an airport code, then have the weather report from that airport returned in the chat. I would like to be able to have the user type "!metar KJFK" The cloudbot command would then call this api: https://api.checkwx.com/metar/KJFK?x-api-key=123456789

You can see that the 'KJFK' would be a variable passed in to this URL. So that's the first problem I'm trying to solve.

The second problem, if I can a.) call that API from a cloudbot command and b.) pass in the KJFK (or whatever airport id they specify).... the second problem is can I somehow parse out a JSON return from that API? The response from that call is:

So I would want to unpack only the 'data' element and display it in chat.

I know this is asking a lot, but I have seen other aviation streamers do this in their YouTube chats. Maybe they are using nightbot or a different bot, but I would love to be ale to do this using Cloudbot commands.

If anyone can help get me started with this using Cloudbot, I would be so grateful! Thanks!

where $arg1 I suppose is the text they type after the command (in this case !metar)

unfortunately, I dont think so if you are streaming on YT , you can pull up chat without turning on the stream.
