I’m not available right now but yes, we have the everyone and here tags disabled. I can’t imagine pinging nearly 230,000 people. For your issue you might go to Settings > Advanced > Sources and uncheck Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration and the restart Streamlabs Desktop and test again. Also make you have custom html/css disabled.

Hey I was trying to multistream but I put in the stream key for kick and its working on and off. It seems it wants me make kick my pimary streaming output for it to fuction properly. I set it up originally to show session top donations with a limit of 1... now I've changed it to the session top donator which combines all of the donations that the 1 person has done. I can't be bothered with the previous format anymore lol

with streamlabels, is there anyway to remotely restart the session without having to use something such as teamviewer? I'm an IRL streamer, and it is a pain to remote login just to hit a button. Cheers.

Good Morning. I have a weird issue I am hoping someone may be able to help with. I am using the Purple Ink Theme and I changed a scene to allow me to use VR as the main focus. But every time I close Streamlabs Desktop it reverts to the old scene. Also I keep getting this message.

Most likely because your files aren't done syncing that it's resetting back to the old scene.

Maybe try making everything in a new scene collection. Then also you can go to settings > scene collections and export the collection locally. That way if it does reset after you close & reopen it again, you can just import it back in (settings > scene collections > import)

I'm using the application as a video source and sending audio and picture via the mevo multicam app on my ipad, but the audio doesn't seem to be sending. Just popping in here to add to the crackling audio discussion, not sure if there’s a dedicated forum post for it. Tried searching previous posts but no good resolution.

When SLOBS is open I get crackles when playing audio on my computer, including my mic but also audio in a browser source. It also crackles when I switch certain scenes in SLOBS. Can’t hear the crackles unless there’s audio (like I’m speaking into my mic) and then the crackles are louder if the audio is louder.

My CPU looks fine and all excess apps are closed. I’m using Ableton but doesn’t seem to be much of a factor. Any ideas? Everything’s up to date.

Hello, I have a problem with transitioning from one scene to another. It's kind of hard to explain (watch the attached clips) but every time I switch between scenes, I either get a blackscreen (when using custom scenes) for a few seconds or when I use a theme from streamlabs library, the old scene shows for a few seconds after the transition and then it shows the new selected scene. Hello, this week my m2 broke. i had to use another one, the thing what changed is, that i now use win 11...
But with win 11 i have now 1 problem.
Somethimes OBS goes up to 100% gpu (3090ti) an then streamlabs obs is laggy, the sound lines are laggy etc. Also my stream is laggy. But if i look at the framedrops, there is everything fine.
On windows 10 everything was fine, anyone know maybe why?

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Hi, I've created a custom overlay for someone, which has a mp3 audio play, aswell as a text to speech. On streamlabs on my end, both audio plays correctly, but when they use it on their end, only the mp3 plays and not the tts. Anyone have any idea of any settings I can play around with to try and replicate?

Depends on what you click on; some of the menu items there are only available on the website and thus it opens a web browser. You can edit your widgets directly in Streamlabs Desktop by just double clicking in the source to bring up the properties.

Im having that issue but only with Genshin Impact and it doesn't seem to matter if im even streaming or not. It'll still skip frames even with only 50% total systemwide CPU use and 30% gpu.

Please download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs website and run the installer as administrator. Let it install over your existing installation. No need to uninstall first. So my laptop is 2560x1600 resolution (3060). I sometime play a game in the native resolution (high setting in the game) or 1440p (high setting in the game) or 1080p (ultra in the game) depending upon the game which ever gives me a good 60fps.

so in obs (only for recording purpose i need) what base and output resolution should i use so that it won't make any more or extra load on my gpu and the fps won't effect

1. Should keep my base/output same as the game resolution in which i am playing
   eg:- if i am playing a game at 1440p should i keep the base/output also at 1440p so that it won't put more load on my gpu

2. Should i play at (1600(native) or 1440p) in the game and in obs keep my base/output both at 1080p and the obs will record and at 1080p even if i am playing at 1600(which will not put any more load on gpu?)

3. or Should i keep the base resolution same as the resolution i am playing in the game and then in the output i will downscale to 1440p or 1080p

which method won't put more load on the gpu and won't effect my fps
i am getting info so that i could play and record the cyberpunk or RDR2 etc heavy load games.

No different use than before the issues started. It started happening about a week ago and then I got an ethernet cable, happens just as much if not more often. And only Streamlabs. Everything else runs the same.

If you have access to the cable modem, I’d shutdown your PC and then pull the power cable from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes. Then plug it back in and let it come all the way up. Then boot your PC and try again to go live and see how it goes.

Correct. It needs to be offline enough so that your modem gets a new WAN IP address.

So my laptop is 2560x1600 resolution (3060). I sometime play a game in the native resolution (high setting in the game) or 1440p (high setting in the game) or 1080p (ultra in the game) depending upon the game which ever gives me a good 60fps.

so in obs (only for recording purpose i need) what base and output resolution should i use so that it won't make any more or extra load on my gpu and the fps won't effect

1. Should keep my base/output same as the game resolution in which i am playing
   eg:- if i am playing a game at 1440p should i keep the base/output also at 1440p so that it won't put more load on my gpu

2. Should i play at (1600(native) or 1440p) in the game and in obs keep my base/output both at 1080p and the obs will record and at 1080p even if i am playing at 1600(which will not put any more load on gpu?)

3. or Should i keep the base resolution same as the resolution i am playing in the game and then in the output i will downscale to 1440p or 1080p

which method won't put more load on the gpu and won't effect my fps
i am getting info so that i could play and record the cyberpunk or RDR2 etc heavy load games.

I’d check and see if there are any Windows 11 drivers for your Realtek audio device. I’ve see this afflict people using OBS Studio as well. A few are fixed by just selecting the specific devices. I would also double check that the same rate mate h what what devices are set to, probably 48khz and that the channels are set to Stereo.

Ok, let’s try this : go to Setting > Advanced > Network > Bind to IP and then select the IP address of your computer in the drop down menu, usually starts with 192.168 or 19.10.

6000 is the last test. It was 7000 then 12000 (before the issues) then 9000 and down to 6000 now. And 1080p, 60fps basically

Explain that your trying to live stream to YouTube and that your experiencing a degraded upstream path. They should be able to check their path to your modem and see if perhaps there might be a physical issue, like a degraded connector.

I had a similar issue a few years back with Spectrum. The eventually found a broken connector on the side of my apartment building.

Usually will only manifest itself when live streaming which is more sensitive to network issues.

Might need to be persistent with your ISP, some hear the word streaming and think you’re trying to watch Netflix. Which is not your case.

Nothing else to do for now,so sadly. If you have spare Ethernet cables, you could swap them out but I doubt those are the issue but it’s possible.

you are streaming at 1080p60 with 750 bitrate, so it will be pixaleted. You need to use atleast 6000 bitrate if you are streaming to Twitch.

They can only be detected if the viewer (the person subscribing) has their subscriptions set to public. Sometimes YouTube delays subscription alerts. Nothing Streamlabs can do about that.

New to using Streamlabs, so am wondering if there's some kind of setting I've overlooked that causes this. Basically, if anything I'm sourcing into my scene changes after opening the software, I have to restart Streamlabs for it to be recognized. If I accidentally pull my headphones out of the jack, for example, even if I plug them back in, Streamlabs won't recognize that unless I restart. The current issue is trying to stream a PS2 that uses component to HDMI, and then into an Elgato. At certain loading screens, the PS2 seems to drop the signal, and so the game source into my scene goes black screen and silent within Streamlabs and won't come back unless I restart the software. Anyone encountered anything like this before? Thanks so much!

Hey guys! I'm having some trouble with stramlabs and was wondering if y'all had any suggestion!!

1- whenever i make a follower goal or a sub goal for my scenes, they dont show up! the only one that does show is the bit goal

2- I can only have 1 camera going at a toime, im tryying to create different scenes with different camera I have, thjye are both webcams but i can ojnly use one at a time, anyone have a fix for this?

3- lastly, im trying to add a hype button to my streamdeck though stream labs, an example of this would be that i'd press a button on my stream deck and it would switch to a scene or an overlay for a scene with disco light and zooming in an out along with an emote wall or a bunch of emotes of the screen

Afaik, I'm using 2 different cameras, one for me, and another for my "GPD win max cam", I think you have to make another option so that you can use both cameras in the same scene

Hi, yesterday I've turned on Cloudbot including Loyalty. It appears that watchtime and loyalty are not working for me though. Since this isnt the only loyalty bot that isnt complying, I am assuming I am doing something wrong.
Cloudbot is turned on in the Dashboard and on Twitch Streamlabs is mod. Anything else I have to do for it to count watchtime and loyalty?
Tried turning bot off and on again on dashboard but it didn't fix. Is it necessary to turn off the stream aswell?

Just the audio? Disable any default devices in streamlabs desktop settings > Audio and then add an audio output capture source and add your audio output device

Hi there! Unfortunately, as a result of CS:GO's update for Trusted Mode it typically cannot be game captured. You would need to use Window Capture with non-fullscreen modes or use the untrusted launch option if you must play in fullscreen. You can also try using -allow_third_party_software in the launcher in order to use game capture- as it has worked for some users.

Just log in with same platform and channel you were using before. Your scenes and sources are then restored from the cloud. Other specific settings like output resolution, audio devices, encoder, etc not cloud saved so you will need to manually set those.

Hello, trying to understand why Streamlabs OBS won't capture my game: some work fine, but I'm trying to capture Star Citizen and here's the problem. Game capture doesnt work, window capture doesnt work either. The only way I can capture are either window capture in windows 10 mode (meaning I have yellow borders around the window) or display capture and I dont like these 2 methods. Any idea on where the problem could come from? Certain VR games NEED Streamlabs to be in focus, if it isn't the game in the headset is fine but the stream absoltely tanks.

It's not been an issue as most VR titles don't require focus, but there's been a few times where interactions in VR forces the game to become the focus.

Make sure your output resolution is 1920x1080 or lower, ideally it should be 1280x720 as Kick will limit you to that if your previous stream had less than 3 views. Also ensure your bitrate does not exceed 8000.

You can try the QR code method but we can’t guarantee that will work. There really is no fix for this other than to just try again much later. The more you try now, they longer TikTok seems to block the login.

unfortunately there is no fix, its tiktok blocking out access because they dont have a key for streaming to tiktok wich is rarely ever given

You can try to reset your stream key and then update that in Streamlabs Desktop. Only other thing I would suggest is dropping down to 720p.

If your Kick channel is new, then yeah, most likely it’s the output resolution. Drop it down to 1280x720 and see how it goes. They do limit channels to that if their previous stream has less than 3 viewers. I usually only get 1 viewer there and have never been able to have 1920x1080 on Kick.

Dropped frames indicate a network issue. Some games though can be network intensive and you might need to tweak your bitrate.

Hi there everyone. I'm having issues with my alerts. When my alerts play, they load in extremely slowly. Its just a simple image for each, that fades in and then out, but when they play it takes a second or two for the image to fully load in. It stutters and loads the image a section at a time. Maybe I am just dumb and this is a simple fix, but when I try to stream to kick I get NOTHING. I tried signing out of Twitch and other streaming services, and then I entered my Stream Key and STream URL, and even when I hit go live, I see nothing on my Kick Dashboard. When I try to stay signed in, enter my Stream Key & URL, it will default to streaming to Twitch and I no longer want to stream to twitch. I've watched every tutorioal and everything in between and I cannot figure out the issue. I get no error message or anything.. This is SUPERRRRR frustrating especially since it is seemless to stream to Twitch, Youtube, etc...

If you need any information to help PLEASE Let me know, I have been stuck on this issue for a couple months.. It gets to the point where I literally will give up and leave it alone, then come back but I'm READY to stream at this point lol

There’s been at least one other report today of someone not being able to go live on Kick. You can try and reset your stream key and update that in Streamlabs Dekstop. Ensure that your output resolution is 1280x720 and that your bitrate doesn’t exceed 8000. Other than that theres@not much else to do. Kick is still in its alpha and is quite buggy.

And if you don’t want 720p, just make sure your output resolution doesn’t exceed 1920x1080. Kick will lower you down to 720p anyway if your last stream had less than 3 viewers.

hi everyone, 👋 I'm having issues with my sound alerts! There is no signal coming in OBS console when i launch them. I am on mac m1, obs 29.1.3. Everything seems to be unmuted (streamlabs speaker icon, active sound in OBS, all volume 100%). I also try with the new Twitch alert box, and it works fine.
