U just need to join voice channel on discord and at the bottom u will get an option to share the screen. Thats how u go live on discord. U cannot use SLOBS to stream on discord. @slim thistle

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

And remember that this setting you your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

Well, sources and scenes and controlling them with hotkeys but as the bot said, we don't have any integration with Kick yet so the widgets, like Alert Box and Chatbox, won't work. Kick hasn't even made their external API available yet. They are still working on building and keeping hte site stable.

We don’t have any integration with Kick so if you wish to modify the layout of Streamlabs Desktop, you’ll need to log on first with a platform you have merged in your Streamlabs account. But since you want to not do that, you won’t be able to modify the layout. Instead just use a web browser, go to your Kick channel and pop out the chat.

That's because you have an Event already setup in YouTube Studio. When you went live in Streamlabs Desktop, you should have chosen that Event (from the Event drop down). Then you would see it in YouTube Studio. If you go here https://www.youtube.com/@TesterDummy/streams, you can see your live stream.

There's always going to be a delay since the stream has to be encoded at your end, sent to YouTube and they decode it and transcode it into the other resolutions. A delay for between 7 and 12 seconds is normal for YouTube.

Okay great! Go ahead then and go to the Streamlabs web site and click the download button and download Streamlabs Desktop then click the Dashboard button and log in on the Streamlabs web site with your Twitch. That will setup your Streamlabs account.
Once Streamlabs Desktop installer is fully downloaded, go ahead and run it to get Streamlabs Desktop installed. Once the installer is complete, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with the same Twitch account you used on the web site.

Did you add a destination? If so then remove that destination and scroll further down and click Stream to custom ingest. The it will stream only to that custom ingest. When multistream, you can’t toggle off the platform you logged in with. Stream to custom ingest gets you around that.

Well, I can get game audio through the stream, and my microphone as well, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the audio to go to my headset.

I'm not sure if it's an issue with the Nexus controller, Streamlabs OBS, or maybe my PC audio settings themselves

It sounds like you need to set your audio monitoring device in streamlabs desktop settings, and then monitor your audio inputs

Typically capture cards don’t output to desktop audio, it’s only captured by the streaming software, so you need to monitor the audio

Hello, I am trying to add a Video Capture Device, and it freezes every option in streamlabs. This first happened when I tried to toggle On my Capture Card to play PS4 on stream, but it made everything freeze to the point I had to End Task and turn off Mid stream. I disconnected my capture card HDMI and even my webcam, and still saw no changes. It keeps doing this everything I try to "Add source" of video capture device.

So you need to make a streamlabs ID , once you have created that , you need to unmerge all the accounts from there and then try to stream to Kick using custom ingest server

you are currently logged in with Twitch. so you need Ultra subscription to multi stream as SLOBS thinks that you are multi streaming on Twitch & Kick.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Hi! I was doing some changes with new overlays etc. When i was going to add my camera, i cant move it around to make it fit. The webcam is stuck in place and the 4 small boxes around will disappear. Streamlabs Console isn’t a free service. It’s entirely a custom service that required man power and lot engineering plus access to the Twitch API isn’t cheap. Streamlabs Desktop, which you may be thinking of, is built off the open source code for OBS Studio and thus Streamlabs Desktop is always free.

I am a content creater and am having issues with my streamlabs. I have never had this issue before, and before you say anything yes i know some of you might say its becuase if what im using for internet but thats not the case or the issue. I used to run really good framrates with my streams but for some reason, since this new update we had a few months ago i am not able to stream anymore due to my framerates dropping over 50%, this has never happened before and i dont know how to fix it. i could really use some pointers or some help on trying to get this resolved, i would like to start streaming again but i cannot due to this issue. usually my framerate only drops no more than 10% which im fine with but 50% and higher i cant do. i have tried doing the auto optimize but it seems to make it worse now and not better. i do run satelite internet which is starlink and it runs great and always has and have never had issues with it before, and actually it has gotten better since but for some reason my streamlabs isnt co-operating, any help is appreciated.

If there is nothing that changed on your hardware, you may try to run Streamlabs as Admin, try to readjust the stream encoder. If you are using an Nvidia GPU try to use the NVENC encoder.

I moved the effects solely through streamlabs but I haven’t been able to stream with that yet and see if the same thing happens but I had some effects on my mic through streamlabs before which ran just fine, I just decided to switch up to blue voice because their tuning and effects were specific to my yeti ex and ended up sounding better imo.

I am having this same problem! When I try to add a video capture device, it freezes on the settings screen and I have to kill slobs via task manager. I'm trying to add a normal webcam, and capture cards and webcams that used to work before now no longer function. have you made sure to click the shutdown when not visible box, that helps stop everything from freezing, you might have to do it to all media/video style sources to stop the freezing, it helped me..

So the way I have it is, the 4k60 is on the streaming pc and connected to the gaming PC, then the HD60X is connected to the streaming PC and the consoles. So I run 2 capture cards. Is more expensive but just easier to change when you want to play PC or consoles in a 2 PC set up/

Also when I do the test button, it does play the correct animation, but when it happens on stream, the animation for follow/raid are always the default one..

Check in your scene if you have the alerts there twice, though seems odd, since it seems like it plays once, then again, but the second time there's no animation O.o

You can replay the event via the event feed in your dashboard and it will trigger the offending alert

Hope someone has an idea. My audio/mic locks up during the live streams (sometimes recording too). It shoots over to max signal and the viewers hear nothin but loud static. If I go into properties and re-select the mic while the problem is going on, it clears up. Because if you connect it to the Line in on your PC then the audio is sent directly to the PC and then to the Artics headset so you have capture audio on Streamlabs
