Hi all, i was recently streaming and i have found that my twitch vod has no audio, however when streaming, my chat tells me that they can hear me and the game audio just fine

Is their a way to have Streramlabs Dashboard show Kick Analytics and do the alerts there?

Log out and quit Streamlabs Desktop. Wait a minute. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in. That will refresh the OAuth token and should connect to chat.

Note that due to Twitch API changes, you might have to log in again if you to type in the embedded chat dock.

- Twitch VOD Track is a new feature implemented in 1.1.x, which allows users to exclude audio from Twitch VODs (video on demand). 
- The purpose of this feature is to exclude DMCA/Copyright music from your VOD. To enable this feature, first verify you have version 1.1.0 or above, (you can verify your version in the top left of Streamlabs Desktop) if you do not have this version, head over to https://streamlabs.com and download a new installer. 

# To Configure: 
- Settings > Output > Enable "advanced encoder settings” (if in Simple Output Mode) > Enable “Twitch VOD Track (Uses Track 2)”. If you would like to utilize a different track you will need to be in Advanced output mode at the top of your Output settings. 

- Open Advanced Audio Options (settings wheel next to the Streamlabs Desktop mixer). 
- On the right hand side, see tracks 1 through 6 highlighted, if track 2 (default Twitch VOD Track) is highlighted for any audio sources, the audio will go through to the VOD. 
- If another VOD track is used, then that specific track will mute the audio going through to the Twitch VOD. 

Make sure to only use the Twitch VOD track for any audio that should go to the Twitch VOD. To exclude a source from the VOD, ensure the configured VOD track is not enabled.```

Nothing similar available for YouTube. Are you using Cloudbot and its Loyalty system? If so you could set up some sound effects for viewers to redeem via the !redeem command using their loyalty points. Not exactly the same as Sound Alerts on Twitch but it works pretty well.

Okay, what you need to do is this:

1. Go to Settings -> Output -> Recording and enable all 6 audio tracks.
2. At Settings -> Output, uncheck the Twitch VOD track.
3. Go to the Advance Audio Mixer (click the ⚙️ icon on any audio source in the Mix and choose Properties).
4. Uncheck and check track 6 for all audio sources.

That should resolve your issue.

And you'll need to do that for every scene that you have to ensure each audio source can be heard.

Sounds like the path between you and the Twitch ingest the problem. Please run the Twitch Test (see the post from the bot) and screen shot the results. Be sure use the Medium Duration when you run the test.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

In the Mixer, do the same uncheck and check on track 6 for the Desktop Audio device. Make sure you have the correct device set at Settings -> Audio.

Olay thanks. I see at Settings -> Output, Streamlabs Desktop thinks you have Twitch Soundtrack installed.

Please go to your Windows Add/Remove Programs and if you have Twitch Soundtrack installed, uninstall it and then reboot your PC.

If you don't have Twitch Soundtrack installed, just reboot your PC.

Once your PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop and go to Settings -> Output and let me know if it still detects Twitch Soundtrack.

Yeah, those quality scores are going to be why you're having so much trouble streaming to Twitch.

If you have acsess to your cable modem and no one else is currently using it, please:

1. Shut down your PC.
2. Pull the power cord from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes.
3. Plug in the power cable to the cable modem.
4. Once the cable modem is fully back up, boot your PC and run the Twitch Test again.

You're looking for an ingest that has a quality score of 86 or better.

If you get the same results, you'll need to contact your ISP and tell them that you are trying to live stream to Twitch and the path to the Twitch ingest is unreliable. See if there is anything they can do for you.

You may need to be persistent as some tech will hear streaming and think you're just trying to watch Netflix. Which indeed you're not.

Then whenever I click back on my streamlabs, everything go super fast to "catch up" to where it should be

Okay, thanks for confirming that. Let's double check that Twitch Soundtrack is indeed fully removed:

Press your Windows key and search %appdata% and open the slobs-plugins folder > obs-plugins folder > delete the soundtrack .dll file.

Okay, thanks for confirming that. Last way to resolve this:

1). Make a new scene collection (not a new scene) and in that new Scene Collection, build a simple scene with just Game Capture.

Then go live with that new Scene Collection. If the Desktop Audio and Mic are in the VOD, then in that new Scene Collection, rebuild your previous scenes and sources. Don't copy/paste them over.

Twitch Soundtrack is known for borking Scene Collections and the only fix is just to build a new one from scratch.

You want the Streamlabs Chatbox to look like the one in the screen shot? That's not possible as you can only select from the available themes shown on the Chatbox Widget page. You might be able to it with custom code (HTML and or CSS) but we can't provide support for that code.

Your specific Widget URL is the one at the top of the Chatbox page. The image you linked doesn't appear to be from Streamlabs. If you're wanting that Chatbox, then in Streamlabs Desktop, you'd add a Browser Source, copy the Widget URL and paste that URL in the Browser Source.

I would download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs web site.

Then run the installer as administrator.

At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but rather finish the installer and then reboot your PC.

There isn't a need to unisntall Streamlabs Desktop first.

Also, what is the resolution of your monitor and what's your Internet upload speed?

Can you screen shot the results of the speed test? You need at least 5Mbs to live stream. There's no way you can live stream with 0.21Mbs.

That's going to be the problem then. Are you connected via Wifi or wired ethernet?

And the audio is delayed on the stream or in the recording or in both?

I would go to Settings -> Audio and specifically set your Microphone device. Don't use the option of Default.

What capture card do you have?

I highly suspect the issue is between you and Twitch. Let's see the screen shot of the Twitch Test. Please be sure to set the duration to Medium before you start the test.

Are you playing the game on your console or your PC?

Hmmmm, and this setup allows you to capture game play from your Switch? Interesting setup.

Then you're using the Microphone on your PC to capture your voice?

I'd then specifically set the Microphone 1 device, don't use Default. Then I'd reboot your PC and see how it goes. And I'd make sure that when you go to stream, you don't have anything else running other than what you specifically need.

Crashing in Studio Mode is happening in 1.13.2. Please submit a ticket here on this issue: https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. And have anyone else with this issue on 1.13.2 to submit a ticket as well. That way the developers can try and fix this.

Okay, go to Settings -> Stream and click Stream to custom ingest, don't worry about the big red notice for now. In the Services menu, choose Twitch, in the Ingest menu, choose Copenhagen and finally plug in your stream key. Then go live and see if you still get dropped frames. If you do, then choose the next nearest ingest, Stockholm if I recall my geography correctly.

Well, I'm just starting on this stream and at the moment it's about subscriptions

For not seeing YouTube subscriber alerts, this is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

👉 And remember that this setting you your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert.

And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

YouTube did this in order to comply with privacy and child protection laws like COPPA.

Not for now. Let's see if we can find which specific ingest is the problem one. Use recommended settings chooses automatically the best ingest for you but sometimes it can grab one with problems.

Using a custom ingest let's us choose rather than letting the computer choose.

Okay, that indicates there is an issue between you and Twitch. If you have access to and no one else is using it, you could try power cycling your cable modem:

Shut down your PC.
Pull the power cord from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes.
Plug the power cable back and wait for the cable mode to come fully up.
Boot your PC and try the Twitch Test again.

If it still reports failed, you'll need to contact your ISP and tell them you're unable to live stream to Twitch.

Yes, you just need to add it as a browser source. Also when you get the custom widget make sure it is compatible with Streamlabs, some are not. But even if you have to create the widget in SE for example you still can add it to your Streamlabs as a custom browser source.

That means your OAuth token has expired. They expire every 30 to 60 days. All you need to do is logout, wait a minute, and then log back in. Just quitting Streamlabs Desktop does not log you out. 👇

Hello, everyone! I'm new here. Does anyone know how to set up a custom font for the chat widget? I was trying to do so through custom CSS but the widget server CORS policy blocks it (the font file is hosted in a GitHub repo), and i haven't noticed any simpler way to do it (maybe i'm missing something obvoius here, idk)

You can simply download the Streamlabs Desktop client for mac by going to streamlabs.com

If you want to add the widgets to OBS, then you simply add the widgets just like you would any browser source by copying the URL for alerts from your Streamlabs dashboard and pasting them into the Browser Source URL field in OBS.

- The purpose of this feature is to exclude DMCA/Copyright music from your VOD. To enable this feature, first verify you have version 1.1.0 or above, (you can verify your version in the top left of Streamlabs Desktop) if you do not have this version, head over to https://streamlabs.com and download a new installer.

The streaming track is track one. Please switch the Twitch VOD track to track 2 and then correct the tracks in the Advanced Audio Settings. You will want to set your Desktop Audio device to disabled and then add an application audio source for each audio you want to hear on stream and in those, uncheck track 2 to prevent them from being in the VOD. For browser sources, you want to go into the properties and tick the option Control Audio via OBS. That causes them to appear separately in the Mixer and then you can include or exclude them from the VOD as desired.

Is the channel linked on your Discord profile the correct channel? If so, please make sure you’ve launched Streamlabs Desktop and have logged in with your YouTube channel. That will re-establish the connection. Then be in the scene with the alert box. You don’t need to be live and remember it can sometimes take a few minutes for the alert to come though. The YouTube API isn’t fast.

For Desktop Audio, you want to go to Settings -> Audio and set that to Disabled. You’ll need to add an application audio source for the game in order to capture that audio. If you don’t disable Desktop Audio then unwanted audio can get into your VOD. Then be sure to tick tracks 1 and 2 for the game audio source. And remember, anything that doesn’t have track 2 selected will not be in the VOD.

I disabled desktop audio trying to capture from a specific browser instead and the sound isn't getting picked up in that way, does it need to be a whole different app not just a web browser I wanna get the sound from? Say instead of using music through youtube it has to be like a spotify app or something.

Double click on the browser source, click the control audio via OBS option. If you want to hear that source locally, you’ll need to set the audio monitoring (in the advanced audio settings) to monitor and output.

Hiya, I wanted to ask if anyone else has been having problems with Overwatch 2 recently? We've been observing a lot of game crashes complaining about some other application messing around with the game's handle to a GPU, even when basically nothing other than SL and the game is running. We've tried to change driver versions, swap from game-ready to studio, disable the iGPU both from the bios and device manager, and some other stuff but the problem always reappears. Sometimes a few minutes after starting the game alongside SL , sometimes after a few hours/days. Its very "random" from our POV and hard to replicate

Okay, you can try this...

Shut down you PC.
Pull the power cable from the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes.
Plug the power cable into the cable modem.
Once the cable modem is fully back up, boot your PC.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop and see if it can finish downloading the update.

It could be a regional issue, I've not heard of any other reports of this today.

When I create a scene in Streamlabs v.1.13.2 and I go to add a source such as a webcam, I see 5-7 old names for webcams in the sources list asking me to choose one. How can I remove any references to past webcams I had setup? I am having a problem when I switch from scene to scene with the webcams not activating unless I manually hide them in the scene and then unhide them before they will appear. I have made sure all the instances where the webcams are used have the box selected to deactivate when not in use but still having problems. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a problem that I had for more than a year but streamed very rarely so it wasn't a big deal, but I have a custom gif for my follower alert, with the fade in / fade out option. When I watch videos, it plays at the same time as the gif starts to appear during the fade in, but for me, it is delayed and only activates after the fade in, making the audio and the gif desync. I've checked the gif size and it's only 759kb, so I don't get what the problem is.

So far I had been using a badly cropped gif with the image being still for a second to sync it, but I've been making it clean today, but I still have the issue of the gif not being animated at the same time as the audio

due to privacy settings (YouTube users who subscribe to you can have their privacy settings set to not notify you that they have subscribed to you. You will see your sub count increase but you will not be alerted that someone has subscribed to you. There is nothing we can do about this as this is a privacy setting with YouTube.

and by default the privacy is set to dont show. The only way to test it is for you to ask someone that has the provacy settings set to show to subscribe to you.

Hello. 👋 I'm using Streamlabs Mobile app and it seems that the app can no longer recognize the image files I have in my mobile. The app is up to date and I've restarted my phone. I've tried to replace the image again but it just refuses to show up in my scene. And I only use one image for each scene. The other widgets are still in place. It's just the image that's missing.

What I do with my PS4 .. I dont have GO XLR or anything. But I just add the audio to SLOBS and then Monitor & Output so stream hears it and I also hear the sound volume. This way, you will not be able to share the chat audio I think (Party Audio on PS4) .. I have not tested that yet as I dont have any one added yet on the PS4 Pro, just recently bought it.

Hello! I just hopped in here to see if I could get some support for an issue I'm having. I was able to get an answer for my issue by searching in this channel but that answer created another question lol.

So, I have everything set up and connected to each other; twitch, streamlabs ID, xbox. I've signed into streamlabs console with my streamlabs ID using the 7-day free trial, I don't have ultra or anything I just wanted to give the console version a try before deciding what I'm gunna purchase. I have created my scenes and overlays and am attempting to live stream to streamlabs and I've done the troubleshooting steps I found within this chat however I am still getting the "you need to link a subscription to stream to this destination" error when attempting to initiate the stream.

With all that info my question becomes; do I need to have a valid subscription of streamlabs console, as in, does the 7-day trial not count as a valid subscription and prevent me from streaming?

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Just a second whilst I type out the steps for you...

1. Launch Streamlabs Desktop
2. Click the ⚙️ icon in the lower left corner of Streamlabs Desktop to bring up the Settings.
3. Click Log in
4. Login in with either your Twitch or Trovo.
5. Go to the Layout Editor.
6. Choose the Layout with 6 spots (lower left).
7. Drag the Website element to the open spot.
8. In a web browser, go to your Kick channel and click Chat. Then at the bottom on the Kick Chat, click the ⚙️ and click Pop-out Chat.
9. Copy the URL from the popped out Kick Chat.
10. Go back to the Layout Editor and paste the URL where it says Enter Target URL
11. Viola! Now you have your Kick Chat in the Streamlabs Desktop Layout.
12. Click Save Changes to save the layout.
13. Click the ⚙️ again in the lower left corner to bring up Settings.
14. Click Stream then scroll down and click Stream to custom ingest.
15. Plug in your RTMP URL and Stream Key.
16. Then when you go live, you will only go live to Kick and can see your Kick chat.

If on your iPhone, it could be any number of settings like the camera and microphone don't have permissions for the web browsers or it could be a parental control feature.

The failed message appears on my phone. It does have access to both microphone and webcam. I do not have parental control features active, as i am an adult.. Do you know how long it usually takes to get supoprt from a ticket?

Hello. I have an issue with recording. I have solid pc and im able to record 1080p . 50k kbs bitrate, 120 fps. But after 2-3 minutes of recording i start getting warning from streamlabs that my recording has started skipping frames .. first few minutes of recording its goint smooth, then it start to get bit laggy .. then more and more until my video get completely frozen

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

@wicked parcel Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New.
