You have to make sure that Streamlabs is a moderator on your channel and that it is not hidden or banned. Then once you are live on YouTube with a Public stream, it can take up to 10 minutes for it to join your stream.

Cloudbot does not work with Unlisted or Private streams.

If you’re on a Mac, make sure that you go into system settings > security & privacy and allow slobs to capture screen, access to the webcam, etc. you probably don’t have it allowed to access your system. In addition, when you connect your elgato, did you install the elgato software?

That should not be necessary. You can’t change your Primary anyway without submitting a ticket.
Please go to the Streamlabs web site, log in, and setup your Streamlabs ID then log in with your Streamlabs ID.

What probably happened is you had Twitch as your Primary and merged YouTube. When you unmerged YouTube and then logged I. With it, you created a new Streamlabs account with that Yotube as the Primary. Since it’s now a separate account, it won’t have access to the data from the other account.

Please do this and nothing else:
Uninstall Streamlabs Desktop and reboot your PC, download a fresh installer and run the installer as administrator. At the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop but just quit the installer. Make sure that Edge is your default web browser. Reboot your PC again. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and try to log in.

Do not merge or unmerge any accounts for now. You might introduce other issues that can’t be solved without a ticket.

Then you need set your monitors refresh rate, in game FPS, and FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to 120. 144 does not divide evenly by 60. You want those three values to be divide 60 evenly.

Hey guys, ive been getting some interesting crashes during CPU intense situations and im really not sure where to start looking. I submitted a support ticket with hopes that someone there can help, but in the meantime i decided to come here. Usually these crashes just say "Streamlabs encountered an error" but today i got that message along with "Nvidia NVENC H.264 (ffmpeg) took too long to respond. Any ideas what i can do to solve that?

You have to contact TikTok which I agree is fairly tough to do and request a stream key. If TikTok approves, they will grant you a stream key. There’s nothing Streamlabs can do about that, sadly. I understand that streaming to TikTok is a desired thing but TikTok themselves have not made it easy.

Roblox updated this week and broke the way game capture works with their game by not allowing game capture to hook into the game. Until Roblox fixes that, you’ll have to use Window Capture.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

And remember that this setting you your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert. And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

YouTube does this in order to comply with privacy and child protection laws like COPPA.

Hello, I just recently got a new mic for my setup and have been testing it out on streamlabs.
For the past 30 minutes I have been trying things to monitor it, trying all 3 settings, testing my output device etc. But for some reason, I cannot hear myself when monitor is turned on.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
• This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
• Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.

So i had this issue where subscriptions don't automatically show up on stream and doesn’t appear in recent events until i refresh. However gift subs and donations show up. I have to refresh the browser and then play the subs manually. I tried the disconnect solution given to me earlier but didn't work. Clear your cache files in your streaming software. You can do that by:

• Closing Streamlabs Desktop/OBS Studio
• Hit the Windows key + R
• Paste the following and hit enter: %appdata%/slobs-client/plugin_config/obs-browser (Streamlabs Desktop) or %appdata%/obs-studio/plugin_config/obs-browser
• Delete the folder, then re-open the software and add your alerts

I see this issue reported a lot on the Kick discord. No real solution other than to make sure your output resolution is 1920x1080 (or lower) and that your bitrate does not exceed 10000 (8000 to 9000 should be fine).

Hi, when using collab cam, the only way the viewers can hear the guest's audio is through my own speakers/mic, which is not ideal. I hear the guest fine on my side but during the livestream no one can hear the guest properly directly from their mic. Any ideas? Submitted a ticket three weeks ago but never heard back

yeah you just would make your alertboxes into browser sources instead of alertbox sources. Then get the URL for each by clicking what you want in each box or unticking what you don't want in each box. like in my screenshot it's a follower only alertbox

in your audio settings (click the ⚙️ to the right of your collab cam) you should be able to make it "monitor and output" and then it should go to you and your stream. Then you could make it where your desktop audio device is disabled in Streamlabs Desktop and use split audio if that's why you're saying it's "not ideal"

Hey guys no idea if this is a common issue, i checked the list and it wasnt on it. But basically when i use the application Streamlabs Desktop - 1.13.2, there is a login button which leads me to another page of ways to log in. The first 3 icons (supposed to be a clickable link) do not work. The last two (facebook and trovo) work and after that they have a drop down option for more places to log in with. I was attempting to log into twitch but the button does nothing. My computer proceeds to "load" something but nothing pops up. I have already restarted it, run as administrator, and uninstalled/reinstalled. Does anyone have any info that can help?

Because I cant log in, I cant buy Ultra through the application or click the "Get Help" button. Not sure if the "Get Help" button is because of login though.

Please try this:

1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop

3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then switch the default web browser to somethng else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

So I was using OBS, everything was fine, then I realized I didn't have an alertbox, so I downloaded Streamlabs OBS (which is what I'm used to) but when I stream on Streamlabs OBS, the viewer sees the stream at basically 0.5x speed. Everything is slow and laggy. If I swap over to regular OBS, no lag, no delay, everything is perfect. I cannot figure out why.

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then switch the default web browser to somethng else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

So I actually thought about that too and double checked it this morning. But the only bots I have linked dont post externally. Just within the discord itself. But I think I may have found it. I used to run stream socials a looong time ago. I'm thinking that when i redownloaded slobs and started streaming again, I needed to re-add stream socials and tell it to stop. Maybe it was still activated and posting even though I didnt have it and wasnt using it for years lol.

For your audio issue, I'd make sure that at Settings -> Audio that your Channels are set to Stereo. For the latter, it sounds like you are streaming to Twitch and the connection to the ingest may be unstable. Please follow the instructions from the bot below. 👇

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

When I was streaming, the youtube chat sometimes was not showing up in the multistream chat section, causing me to miss out on tons of people. The alerts were not as well(for people subscribing). There is a Known Issue with YouTube chat, you can read about here: <#known-issues message>

For not seeing YouTube subscriber alerts, this is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

You can see this setting here: https://www.youtube.com/account_privacy

👉 And remember that this setting you your account does not matter in this case. If person clicking the subscribe button on your channel would need to first change this setting. Changing it afterwards would not cause an alert.

And an unsubscribe/resubscribe also will not trigger an alert.

YouTube did this in order to comply with privacy and child protection laws like COPPA.

You want to have a quality score of at least 86. For you, it seems the Bogata ingest is the best choice. At Settings -> Stream, click Stream to custom ingest, choose Twitch from the Services menu, choose that Bogata ingest, and finally put in your Stream Key. See how things go during your next live stream.

In Streamlabs Desktop, log out, wait a minute or two, and then log back in. That message means that the OAuth token has expired and needs to be refreshed. This happens between 30 and 60 days so when you see this again, just relog.

When you add the second camera, be sure to add it as a totally new source. Don't use the existing source.

Yes, that's what I do, I create one source per webcam. When no source exists, I can choose the webcam I want (and I can preview each camera), but when I add one, if I add another source with the 2nd camera, it appears in the list but not in streamlabs (see screen).

I'd see if it happens with another browser. Those errors are indicate a browser or browser setting issue. Make sure Opera is up to date and that (if it has this settings) that HTML5 is enabled for the video player. You might trying disabling hardware acceleration in your browser.

Yeah, all I can find on YouTube is that 1440p doesn't support ulta low latency. What the actual experience is I'm not sure as I stream at 1080p. the screenshare you add a source in your scenes. the "screenshare" option is only on ios for the way you're talking about. so on android you just add the screenshare as a source > go live

Hi! I need some support linking my Facebook gaming page to Streamlabs. I have streamed plenty of times in the past on facebook with streamlabs, however it has been a few months since I last did. For whatever reason when I log into my Facebook account on streamlabs it does not seem to link the facebook page correctly

The first one is that the songs I have set for the starting and ending soon scenes arent playing for the stream but are playing for me and my second issue is that I have my Elgato HD 60s+ set up with video capture device source and while the video works perfectly, the audio is super quiet or nonexistent for the viewer despite me hearing it normally on my end. Odd. Post a screen shot of the Source list for the scene where you added the Video Capture Source.

I see somethings in the Source list that I'd change. Drag the Game Capture to the bottom of the list and delete the Screen Capture. I would then remove the Video Capture source for your camera, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and then add it back.

If you're using an ad blocker, whitelist the Twitch domain in it or try without the ad blocker running. Make sure you're not blocking cookies for the Twitch domain. If you're using a VPN, try without the VPN. That's about all I can suggest.

Recently I have just started streaming, and I was able to get my first collab. Well, we are using discord as our call, and I usually will check my own Twitch to verify I can hear the people. Well, I guess when I went back to Twitch and was going to upload the video, it did not record the sound. I was told to make my sound the same with stream labs/discord, which I did, and then I also turned off streamer mode because an artricle suggested it. I am not really sure what to do, and I have watched countless videos/articles that offer no actual advice.

I was using streamlabs on my laptop. I'm a free user as I can't afford the sub at this time. I'm switching from my laptop to my desktop and am wondering if there is a way to export my scenes, or backup my settings/scenes/etc so that I can easily import them to my desktop without having to manually reset everything back up?

Regarding your audio source issues, usually the problem is reversed. I’d think you might have the audio monitoring set incorrectly on those two audio sources. For the low volume issue, move the slider to right to increase the volume.

When you log in on Steamlabs Desktop on the other device, as long as both are Windows or both Mac, your data (scenes and sources) are restored from the cloud. Settings like bitrate, encoder, audio devices aren’t stored in the cloud so you might want to screen shot your settings so you can get them back to where you want them.

hai everyone. I have an issue with the widget, Tip Ticker - it says its suppose to show off your recent donations, but mine shows donations from 2-3 years ago.
Is there anyway to fix this or is there any other way for me to create a moving list or something, so all my sessions tips are shown on screen?

Just started today... Streamlabs software just freezes and crashes when you click on studio mode.

Tested on 3 different pcs, and still does it... hmmm

Clicking the studio mode, then trying to switch to that scene is what does it

i did that all today, same problem .
i also testet today with firefox and MS edge , MSe and Chrome are working with my stream . Firefox and Opera has the same Errorcodes and that is just on my stream if i want to watch other streams i can do that with all Browser. at the same time i tested the Software and Hardware decoding with the same settings, it doesnt help either .

yes, if they open my stream with opera they get the same errorcode. Today i tried to watch my live stream test same error, also i get the errorcodes if i want to watch my VOD.

i can try that today with my viewers, if i dont get instant the 3000 error i will get the 1000 error.

Let's double check a few things with your setup.

Please launch Streamlabs Desktop and screen shot Settings -> Video and Settings -> Output.

Also let me know the resolution you have your monitor(s) set to and what your Internet upload speed is.

Okay, thanks for those screen shots!

One thing I see right off the bat, on Settings -> Output, please uncheck the Rescale Output option. You already have your Output Resolution set to 1280x720 so there is no need to scale it again to that resolution.

Also, you've got a good upload speed so I'd bump up your bitrate to 5800.

Also, do you have a video card in your computer? If so, do you know the make and model?

This is reported now and then. Please force quit Streamlabs Mobile and then go into your System Preferences and make sure that Streamlabs Mobile has permission to record your phone's screen.

Is there a way to change scenes without needing to swap back into the app? Currently if you are live and screen-sharing, the viewers will see when you change apps to swap scenes which is both jarring and a possible privacy issue/annoyance.

Sadly, at this time there's not a good way to switch scenes without switching back to Streamlabs Mobile. I understand this is not ideal and is a jarring experience for your viewers. Please feel free to submit your feed back on this by submitting a ticket. (link in the next post from the bot).

I have a question about Streamlabs Chatbot, (it’s about connecting the bot to a Kick account) v I am using version 1.0.2 .79 . I cannot see a way to add Kick to the Streamlabs chatbot. Does anybody know is it possible?

Streamlabs Chatbot only works with Twitch and YouTube. Chatbot doesn't support any other platforms, including Kick. Sorry about that.

Hello. I am having a problem with the resub variations. I've a subscriber that has resubbed for 4 months now. It's been playing the new subscriber alert. How can I fix it to where it plays the variation alerts. I have it set up the condition to "Months subscribed is at lest <months>", but it would not play it. I'm also using the Streamlabs stream lables: v0.6.0 to replay the resub and it plays the new subscriber alert. The platform that I'm using for streaming is Twitch.

You should be able to enable Cloudbot by simply turning it on inside your streamlabs dashboard. Once it’s enabled you’ll need to make it a moderator on your channel
