I currently divide the audio by this feature and it does the job perfectly so there is no spotify audio on the vod however my viewers cannot hear the "sound effects" of subscriptions and other channel point rewards

The post from the bot details how to use the Twitch VOD track option. If you've got the audio sources all set up via Application Audio Capture, all you need to ss uncheck Track 2 on the ones you don't want in the VOD. If you go to Settings -> Output -> Recording, make sure all 6 tracks are selected. Then in the Advanced Audio settings, for each scene, uncheck Track 2 on each source you don't want in the VOD. For any sound you want to hesar on stream, make sure that Track 1 is checked.

Sir I dont think you understand my problem here, that is what I do and by doing that streamlabs does not give the audio of voice effects from subscription notifications and others such as channel royalty points to my stream even though I added the streamlabs to application mixer as well. My problem is not being able to remove spotify audio from the vod but having my sound effects at the same time.

Yes! I had to mute the desktop audio because it also gives away the spotify audio so I did that and added spotify to the mix which I was successfully able to remove from vod with the track setting! But my twitch notifications are not heard on stream is it because I didn't add them to the application audio source? The bottom 3 are notification window, sound effects for channel points and the chatbox!

Using OBS, a 7 minute video is around 750MB
On Streamlabs, a 7 minute recording is 2.2gigs

Man there has to be something i can do about this, unless streamlabs is just known for being a memory hog

Oh cqr doesnt let you change bitrate but change cq level (whatever that is), im gonna use CBR and change it to 6k see how that helps

Then you'll need to reach out to Twitch. They are a separate company from us and we can't help with account issues there. Did you choose the SMS 2FA or the App 2FA? I'd strong suggest using the app authentication method using the Authy app (which you'd have have have already installed before you set up 2FA).

When you login using Twitch, with 2FA enabled, after you enter your username and password, you get this prompt. Just enter the code from the app or SMS, which ever one you have as the Primary.

At least for Kick, it could be of two reasons: Kick limits the Output Resolution to 1920x1080 or lower and the bitrate to 10000 or lower but coming from an Xbox I'd think you'd be okay on those.

Not sure what eactly the issue is but you should not need two desktop audio devices. I would go to Settings -> Audio and set Desktop Audio Device 2 to disabled and set Desktop Audio Device 1 to the same device you have set in Windows Sound Settings.

Hi, I am using xbox series x & using an elgato to attempt & livestream. Unfortunately I am getting a black screen on my streamlabs. Audio is working. I have reset my streamlabs & computer. It is weird, the video shows on OBS but on streamlabs it is always black screen.

I've been having a lot of trouble with my stream disconnecting several times an hour, so I figured I'd start fresh and revert all the settings to "default" or whatever it is that streamlabs optimizes for. Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Please try this:

  1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop
  2. Click here https://streamlabs.com/logout
  3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

if switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then switch the default web browser to somethng else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

Dropped frames are caused only if you have issues with the internet. I would suggest you to use Twitch Bandwidth App from R1CH & check the bitrate. It helps me when I am getting dropped frames.

Thanks for confirming that!

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

Streamlabs Console only works with Twitch. It won't go live to any other platform.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Eh, no way to tell for sure. We ask that you don't clear the cache in Streamlabs Desktop unless we instruct you to do so as it can cause other unintended issues. But I'm glad you're able to go live now. Have a great stream! KevJAM

So I was trying to help a streamer I mod for start creating clips for tiktok and i recommended they try using crossclip. They are an ultra member but when they tried to use crossclips it was telling them to either subscribe or sign up for ultra. They tried using thier twitch and streamlabs ID and it still was telling them to subscribe. We checked and they are still currently on the ultra program. We submitted a ticket 3 days ago and haven't heard back so I thought I'd try here to see if anyone has any recommendations.

To have chat appear on your single monitor, use the Game Overly, which is only available on the Windows version of Streamlabs Desktop: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/game-overlay-for-streamlabs-desktop

To have chat appear of stream, add the Chatbox widget to any scene where you want chat to appear on stream.

And finally, and this is the most annoying one, there is an issue with YouTube Chat and he problem lies on YouTube’s side and we are waiting on a fix: <#known-issues message>

And remember that the source list is a layer. So make sure the Chatbox is higher in the list than any capture method or it will be “hidden” and not visible on stream.

basically you can set a projector as source only, and the clicking the top button on new pop up window makes it fullscreen while streamlabs is running everything for streaming in backround.

Hello, i set up some alert varation for gifted subs 3 months and more and exactly 12 months. When i tested it, everything was fine.
Yesterday when i got a sub. The alert for 3 months keept reapeting istelf. after testing all 3 varations they keept all repeating. The normal Sub alert or follow alert didn't, anyone know why?

@dusk wyvern For Kick, your output resolution has to be 1920x1080 or lower and your bitrate has to be less than 10000. Even then there have been reports of streams connecting and disconnecting. That’s all an issue with Kick.

The Base Resolution should match the resolution of your monitor and the output resolution is what you want your stream to be in. For 1080p, it should be 1920x1080.

If you use screen capture and capture your vertical monitor, then the stream will be in that format. Gmae capture would do the same if the game is running on a veritcal monitor.

I'd avoid using the vertical monitor for streaming unless you're streaming to TikTok. All other platforms prefer the output to be in landscape format.

A/V sync issue: Twitch IRL live streaming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max. 90% of the time, the audio is out of sync. I always try to be methodical and consistent. Have all other apps closed. Background app refresh is off. Notifications off. Bluetooth/wifi turned off. Hard reboot the phone before opening the Streamlabs mobile app.

settings only 720P, 30fps, and set to low/moderate bitrate.

Why is my audio always delayed 1-2 seconds? Am I the only one having this issue? Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to fix this, besides getting different hardware?

Recommended bitrate values versus used resolution and FPS.

  • For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
  • For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
  • For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
  • For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
  • For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

to unlock Channel points, and Subscribers, and Bits, you have to get Twitch Affiliate. there are a few criteria you need to meet, like 50 followers, 3 average concurrent viewers, and streaming a certain amount of days in a week to unlock it. You should be able to access it through your channel settings

hello! i'm having an apparently resolved issue, but i cant find the resolutions anywhere - or at least one thats working for me.

my alertbox isnt creatign ANY audio. on stream, on my personal audio, in recording, anywhere. i havent changed the audio from default, it is NOT muted, i have changed my audio tracks, it's on every audio line, etc.

absolutely anything i could find online has not helped. i can send the recording over to anyone who wants it. it contains the background music i use (which i also can't hear, but it plays for recordings and probably streams, so i don't care all that much.) but i do two repeat alerts, a sub and a follow, and they don't create any audio. i've tried everything. please help.

I’m not sure what you expect Streamlabs to do. The game update which caused game capture to no longer work. The problem is with Roblox and since they are a entirety separate company, we have no idea about why, if, or when this will be corrected.

I can do anything directly as Volunteers are not employees and we have no access. All I can suggest is that you go here https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and BEFORE you start a new ticket, click the SIGN IN button at the upper right. Then after you submit your ticket, it should be displayed for you. Give me that ticket number and I’ll what I can do for you. I can’t guarantee anything but I’ll check.

When I was setting up streamlabs, I saw a thing called streamlabs console. Idk what it does for now but I was wondering if it's able to stream or at least take gameplay from my console so it ends up on my laptop

The reason for this is because on Xbox you can only record up to ten minutes at a time and I wanted to move into longer recording sessions for the content I'm moving into. The only other alternative would be to get elgato which is over £100 so could I use streamlabs instead?

Follow these steps to reset Cloudbot. Do not skip or shorten the waits.

  1. Unmod streamlabs
  2. Toggle Cloudbot off
  3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
  4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
  5. Mod streamlabs
  6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

And of course, make sure your live with a Public stream. Cloudbot does not work with Private or Unlisted streams.

If a channel is not the primary, then just log in at the Streamlabs web site, go to your Account Settings then Platforms, and click unmerge on the platform your want to remove.

Please try this:

  1. Quit Streamlabs Desktop
  2. Click here https://streamlabs.com/logout
  3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

If switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then switch the default web browser to somethng else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

I'd also make sure that you click the "Copy" button and then paste the URL into the browser source of Streamlabs. You can select the URL that exists by clicking in the URL bar and pushing CTRL+A to select all, and then CTRL+V to paste right over the top.
