Hope so too! Some feedback after queue is closed / full would absolutely be awesome. It would be really nice too if you could choose who could join queue, for instance everybody, followers only, subscribers only etc. I think those two things would make the queue system perfect! I was thinking about getting Streamlabs Ultra because I like to rename the bot but if I need to use another bot for the queue system then it doesn't really make sense. Hopefully they will change it, I like cloudbot it's just missing a few very basic options

You can change the permissions on the join command to limit who can use it and I was thinking that maybe enabling the global cool down might help in keeping the queue to a more manageable size.

Oh that is a good workaround. Is regulars follower only or also people that dont follow but do chat often? (my rules say only followers are allowed to join queue but everybody does it)

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

if switching the default web browser to Edge or Firefox doesn't work, then switch the default web browser to somethng else then switch back to Edge or Firefox and try again.

So, i have been reading people are having issue with Streamlabs and streaming to twitch with diablo 4 on pc. I am having that same issue. it will be fine for about 20 minutes then it loses conection to twitch. What is weird is that it still thinks it is streaming to twitch. even if i close the program, i have to go into task manager to force close it and then i get the promp that says you are still streaming do you want the program to restart once your stream ends. Has anyone found a fix for this yet? i have tried every setting change i can think of. i have deleted the cache, i have reinstalled, etc. nothing seems to work.

Is Streamlabs Desktop reporting dropped frames or that the stream is disconnected? If so , that indicates a network issue either locally or between your cable modem and the Twitch ingest.

No. When I stream, I have a tablet under my monitor that shows the stream. After a little while, the stream will show that it was disconected. (https://i.imgur.com/OcXSUYI.png) in streamlabs there is no sign whatsoever that it has stopped streaming. it still shows it is sending info. it doesnt pop up an error, the preview doesnt freeze. i can still type in chat.

when i exit out of streamlabs and try to open it again, nothing happens. I have to manually go into task manager to force an end task before i can reopen it.

So you exit Streamlabs Desktop without ending the stream and it won’t successfully launch again afterward? When the tablet stops playing the stream, are you indeed still live or not? Do viewers and those in chat report an issue?

I can press end stream throught he desktop app and it says it ends the stream and i can close the app. But its still the same issue with having to go to the task manager to fully shut it off. The stream itself cuts out. My audio is no longer sent either.

Please follow exactly all the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Including the log outs. You'll need to perform these when you not live.

👉🏻 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like. An unfollow/refollow or unsubscribe/resubscribe won't trigger a new alert.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

👉🏻 Note you need to offline to perform this procedure. Do not perform this while you are live!

Could be the recording path you specified no longer exists or you don’t have permission to write to that location. Could also be a configuration issue with the selected encoder. Try changing to a different encoder, save the settings, restart Streamlabs Dektop, change the encoder back to what it was, save the settings, restart Streamlabs Desktop again, and try again.

i am not a twitch partner. i have changed the bitrate from between 2500 and 7000. I have also tried to use the enforce platform settings option. I currently have dynamic set to off, but i have also toggled that on and off. when the program stops streaming, i click end stream, and close the app, the programs in the task manager that are still lister are obs64, obs-browser-page, and streamlabs desktop. obs64 is still using 10% of my cpu at this stage. this is what my task manager looks like. https://i.imgur.com/zeEdnUu.png

Thanks for confirming. What’s your internet upload speed? Please leave the enforce streaming service option unchecked. Also on the confirm and go live window, there’s a prompt that says use optimized encoder settings, make sure that is unchecked as well.

Hi I'm searching for an option to separate audio channels on streamlabs (for streaming purposes), basically I'm using Steelseries Sonar which allows me to have multiple channels for: Game audio, Chat audio (discord etc) & media audio. Is there a way to get these 3 channels in streamlabs?

I have found that when that was happeneing ot me, that acutally box that the alert was set up in was off screen. I had to click on the area where box was and physically move it. I know it sounds stupid, but that is what fixed that issue for me.

Also, how do we get custom alerts like that!? I'm a new streamer, and I'm trying get followers and such and I would LOVE to have customer alerts like that. Way better thant the default one lol

Ok. So I keep getting THIS error code when I'm streaming. Being a new streamer, this doesn't bode well for me, let alone Streamlabs. I have 16gb of ram in my new laptop and an RTX 3060 video card. I have noticed that the latency is SUPER high at times when i'm gaming in general Diablo 4 which is what I'm streaming. I have googled this until I'[m blue in the face over the last 2+ hours and I can't figure this out because EVERYTHING I'm coming across is for OBS. And the menus and layout for OBS are different than Streamlabs. Any suggestions beacuse I finally have intro music that DMCA free and outro music for my streams and my streams keep getting cut off because of this error code. It's seriously frustrating me and ticking me off. I'm a single mom that works full time so I don't a lot of time to be screwing around with this.

@crisp isle Please change the encoder to NVENC, don’t choose the one that has (new) in the name. The uncheck Enforce streaming service encoder settings and if the option Rescale Output is still there, uncheck it as well. Then set the Keyframes and Max B Frames to 2 and then set your bitrate 5000. Since you have your output resolution is set to 1280x720, you don’t need to rescale it.

I do have one more question. I noticed that OBS has transitions between screen. IE between my live, brb, stream starting soon screen etc. I had it in OBS (i was setting it up tonight) for 500ms and I LOVED it.

They should.

The reason you got that message is the X.264 encoder is the software encoder, meaning your CPU has to do the encoding of the frames to transmit out. In addition, it has to run Windows, Steam, the game, and Streamlabs Desktop and what every else is loaded at startup. Sound like you may have been maxing out your CPU.

You stated you have a 3060 RTX video card which is really good and can take the encoding load off the CPU. Thus your CPU doesn't have to work as hard.

And yeah that's the card that's in my laptop. I did a bit of research on gaming laptop and which ones would have a decent video card before I bought my laptop 3 months ago.

Yes, correct. Your CPU was doing a majority of the work. And good choice with the RTX flavor. I've got the previous generation 2070 RTX and love it.

I was going to get the model Acer laptop above the one that I have since mine is last years model because it had the RTX 3070 and a full TB hard drive as opposed to half a TB, but ...mine was on sale for $1200 from 1500 and the other one was $750 more. Yes, as another community members mentioned, we don’t have integration with Kick so the embedded chat dock and all the widgets won’t work. Kick doesn’t have an API yet available and has not invited external developers to consult on the API. So until all that happens, this is the only way to stream to Kick. Not even OBS Studio has integration with Kick.

Hi there, I am using Kick as my streaming service and I see it hasnt integrated yet. I am having an issue with login. When i press login it gives me multiple "Connect a platform" options but Kick is not listed. So the only option is Streamlabs ID. I set up the streamlabs ID and when it sends me to the Desktop app it takes me back to "Connect a platform". But, it forces me to choose between twitch, youtube, facebook, and 1 other option. If i dont select any of those I have to press skip and it logs me out. I can't use essential features, how do i fix this?

Interesting. I’d change the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to 60 and then cap in the in game FPS to 60 as well and see if that helps any. Try reducing some quality settings in the game to give the GPU less work.

If you have an existing Streamlabs account, you can certainly log in,with any of the platforms you have merged in your Streamlabs account. You can’t log in with Kick as we don’t have integration for Kick; they don’t have an API available and haven’t invited external developers to discuss the API.

Well if the issue is on the Game side, not much we can do! I do have issues with Diablo 4 and I run a 2 PC Stream, the game doesn't crash the stream as the stream is running on a separate PC, but the game does Crash a LOT due to memory issues!

I run a set of 32gb DDR4 Corsair Dominator at 4000mhz, and a lot of people with different sets of RAM have the same issue!

So at this moment in time the only way that you can be 100% safe from the game to crash your stream is to run the stream on a different PC, and that is not acceptable I know, but we just have to keep complaining to Blizzard and sending crash reports.

You want to add Game Capture, but CS GO needs additional steps to be captured.
From the Steam Library, right-click over "Counter-Strike" Global Offensive" and select "Properties".
From the "General" tab, left-click over the "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..." button. Next type the following line into the text field and click on the "OK" button:
-allow_third_party_software
Click on the "CLOSE" button.
Launch the game.

Thats your issue, you are overloading the CPU. Change it to Nvenc and let the encoder on the GPU do the work, the GPU Encoder is apart so you will not notice no difference in performance ingames.

If the game as a memory leak issue, that will eat all your RAM and make other stuff crash, in this case both of them are using a bit RAM so Streamlabs would crash.

Go into streamlabs settings - Advance and set the Process Priority to Above Normal.

Also always open Streamlabs as Admin.

Give it another go and see if aliviates the issue.

Streaming on OBS studios works without crashes however. Very weird.

Make sure that Streamlabs is a moderator on your channel ( see the instructions here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/mod-tools ). Also note that Cloudbot only works when you are live with a Public stream. Cloudbot won’t work with a Private or Unlisted stream. It can take up to 10 minutes after you go live for Cloudbot to join your stream.

Chatbox is only for displaying the chat on the stream. If you want to see chat locally and are on windows based PC, then check out the Game Overlay https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/game-overlay-for-streamlabs-desktop. Game Overlay is not available on the MacOS version of Steamlabs Desktop due to the way MacOS is designed.

Hello, I've recently moved onto Kick and I wanted to stream on it for the first time today, BUT, when I tried to use the URL and Stream key that I got from Kick it didn't work. It only said "Reconnecting" which I find interesting. I tried using restream and that worked perfectly fine. I got my stream up there but when it was going to send the info to Kick it didn't work. Something is stopping me from streaming there. KEEP IN MIND that I have the stream key and url from Kick already. I am not logged in on streamlabs though, I've tried being logged in and it didn't work anyways.

It's not quick but you can right click the source > filters > click the eyeball.

It may be better to just make a duplicate the "live scene". Then in your regular go live scene add a "scene source" and then add the filter to the scene source. Then you can hotkey that scene source 🤷‍♂️

Hey everyone! I've been having some issues setting up some custom alerts and was wondering if someone could guide me a bit! My alerts are webm with transparency and I've created my own in animation/out animation for my alerts in after effects. So I'd like to set the alert animation OUT in streamlabs to None. However this causes my alert to endlessly loop. I have tried a work around where I added a couple extra seconds of blank video to the end of the composition as to hide the Alert Animation 'Fade Out' but that won't work because for some reason, the alert is playing and instead of running the blank footage, it actually loops earlier then what is in the web. Very confusing, hopefully someone can help! Thanks!

Edit: To add to this, if I go directly to the target address of the webm file being hosted in my streamlabs library, it plays the correct length and even includes the blank timeline at the end, but again, it just doesn't happen in the alert box widget.

I was in The voice channel of one of the Diablo channels on the Diablo 4 server and one of the guys suggested that I use instead of game capture the screen capture so like screen share when I'm streaming. Does anybody hear use screen capture as opposed to capture in streamlabs and find that there's less lag?

Because he was telling me that he had major lag trying to stream Diablo 4 until he got rid of his game capture and started using screen capture instead.

The only thing we would have to look out for is making sure that when we're tabbing between anything that we need to all other programs and stuff are on the second monitor if we have one which I do.

While your Internet may be fine, it indeed sounds like there is an issue in the Internet between your cable modem and the platform ingest. What plaftorm are you streaming to, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo?

Could be a filter that has been applied to the Game Capture source or to that scene. I'd remove that Game Capture source, restart Streamlabs Desktop, and add the Game Capture source back.

I also see that you have the Alert Box underneath the Game Capture source. That will cause the Alert Box to 'hidden'. Please make sure when you add Game Capture back, its at the bottom of the list.

Which specific Streamlabs application are you using and what does the browser tab show?

First, please delete your game capture and close Streamlabs Desktop.

Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/918160373264306206/918162974265466911/unknown.png?width=960&height=538). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.

Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

I have one email that owns two accounts, my Streamlabs is set up with account #1, but I'm trying to connect it to account #2. Everytime I've tried logging out and back in, it auto logs into account #1. How can I access my other accounts under the same email?

Logout in Streamlabs Desktop.
Then click this link https://streamlabs.com/logout and clear the cache only in that web browser and quit the web browser.
Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in and see if you can select the other YouTube account.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

The you’ll need reduce the load on your GPU. Make sure your caping the in game FPS and FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to 60. Consider reducing the graphic details in the game from Ultra to High. If you can set the refresh rate on your laptop screen, set it to 60. If the laptop display will set to 120, then that’s fine as well. Basically you want the numbers to divide by 60 evenly.

Are you wanting to multistream and include Kick or only stream to Kick? There’s also a few limitations that Kick has that you need to be aware: Your Output Resolution cannot be bigger than 1920x1080 and your bitrate can’t be greater than 10000.

If you already have an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription, just merge the other platform you want to use, like say Twitch. Then log out in Streamlabs Desktop and log in with that same Twitch. That way you keep all your cloud data, scenes and sources.

If you go to the Alert Box page on the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox, and then go to each alert type, you can use any one of the three layouts.

I installed it like an hour ago, connected twitch, did a test stream, realized it's streaming camera footage so ended the stream and tried starting screen share stream and that's when this issue occurred

All we have available is the ability to log in with your Picarto account. We don't have any integration with them. If you're wanting to stream to Picarto, you'd need to use the Stream to custom destination option and plug in your RTMP URL and stream key.

Honestly, that looks fine. I'd lower the CQP Level down to 14 though.

"When switching to CQP the bitrate control is removed and replaced with CQ Level from 0 to 30. The lower the number, the higher the quality, but if you're recording at anything less than CQ Level 14 you're probably wasting your time as it's essentially lossless video at that point."

But if you're wanting a smaller file size, 17 might be good. Try 14 and see how it goes. Are you matching your Output Resolution to your Base Resolution?

Hello, how can I seperate my spotify music without disabling the sub notifications and all the voice effects?
I'm currently using the application voice divider feature by streamlabs but my viewers cannot hear the voices of streamlabs actions
I'd like to seperate the music from other sounds so I can remove it from the vod!

# Twitch VOD Track:
- Twitch VOD Track is a new feature implemented in 1.1.x, which allows users to exclude audio from Twitch VODs (video on demand). 
- The purpose of this feature is to exclude DMCA/Copyright music from your VOD. To enable this feature, first verify you have version 1.1.0 or above, (you can verify your version in the top left of Streamlabs Desktop) if you do not have this version, head over to https://streamlabs.com and download a new installer. 

# To Configure: 
- Settings > Output > Enable "advanced encoder settings” (if in Simple Output Mode) > Enable “Twitch VOD Track (Uses Track 2)”. If you would like to utilize a different track you will need to be in Advanced output mode at the top of your Output settings. 

- Open Advanced Audio Options (settings wheel next to the Streamlabs Desktop mixer). 
- On the right hand side, see tracks 1 through 6 highlighted, if track 2 (default Twitch VOD Track) is highlighted for any audio sources, the audio will go through to the VOD. 
- If another VOD track is used, then that specific track will mute the audio going through to the Twitch VOD. 

Make sure to only use the Twitch VOD track for any audio that should go to the Twitch VOD. To exclude a source from the VOD, ensure the configured VOD track is not enabled.```
