I enabled it and set it up on the website, it’s modded in my chat (but doesn’t appear) and I’ve run through the troubleshooting guide on the website but it doesn’t seem to be working. I have been having an issue recently where streamlabs wont start video transmission. I stream to both youtube and tiktok but I think that the problem is with tiktok (im sure I have the right stream key)\

This is known issue that we're working with TikTok to correct.

Unable to Multistream; getting an "x" next to "Video Transmission"
Waiting for Tiktok to resolve. The workaround is adding your Tiktok stream as a destination in the Streamlabs Desktop App by doing the following:
Go to Settings ⚙️ > Stream > Add Destination.
Please paste your RTMP URL and Stream Key from Tiktok's website here.
Afterward, when clicking "Go Live" disable your Tiktok account and enable the destination. You should be able to Multistream like normal.

So my streamlabs despite having a stable and good connection just crashed and restarted stream 5 times. the kb/s was stable the whole way through bar one time but that one time was the only time I noticed the stream actually crash. Every other time (that I could see anyway) the bitrate never went low, but despite this, it still sent out the twitch alert 5 (maybe 6 times) without even trying to alert me that maybe the connection was faulty.

I was mid stream, playing game, and it only said once that it dropped frames and that the kb/s were going down, after that it never told me again. My stream elements sent the notification for me going live 6 times, so I checked my twitch and there was 5 vods (I have deleted them now) I only say this here in case its a serious issue, but who knows, today might have just been a freak accident

Kinda, the network however didnt seem to actually have any issues bar one time out of the 5 times it disconnected and reconected. Every time it stopped and started again, I only knew because of my streamelements bot and not streamlabs itself if that makes anysense

3. Wait for at least 10 minutes

4. After logging out, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections

6. Once you have done this, please log in to streamlabs.com or Streamlabs Desktop with your Twitch account
7. Turn the bot back on
8. Wait for the bot to join your channel and remod it

Please follow exactly all the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Including the log outs. You'll need to perform these when you not live.

👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

IP address has nothing to do with the app freezing. If anything it could be your GPU being overloaded and not allowing it to render the display. Are you on a desktop or a laptop?

I'm having an issue with my audio ever since I changed the audio source to use application audio instead of desktop audio. With the old way, the alertbox audio used to play on stream, and now it doesn't. I cannot get it to load in the mixer options for scene I am on, which is the main trouble. If I click the gear to show the advanced settings for the mixer, it is there as an audio source, but I cannot add it to the scene.

@half inlet Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. I had an audio problem today. I haven't changed any settings in SLOBS from last week when I didn't have this problem. About an hour and a half into my stream, then again at two and a half, my audio cut out on Twitch. I confirmed it wasn't only my viewers, because I wasn't getting audio through Twitch when I unmuted my tab. One of my viewers said that the audio went high pitched before cutting out. Another viewer said they didn't hear the high pitch. The Twitch VOD starts skipping at the time that the audio cuts out, the Youtube VOD has about a 2 second period of blank screen before going back with audio, and my recorded video plays fine right to the end with no audio cuts or skipping. Anyone know what could have caused this and/or a suggestion for a fix?

Remove the Enforce Streaming Service Encoder Setting, change your bitrate to 5000 and preset to quality.

the bitrate you can keep at 6000 but keep in mind that you will drop some frames as wifi the connection is not as stable as wired

It sounds like you should plug it into a direct power source. Also despite being connected to power if an app is using as many resources as available on your phone, it can still draw more power than the phone can handle and drain the battery while connected to a power source.

Last thing I will ask since I can not see anything online yet. In the CSS I am able to move the padding of the text to move it either right or left or up/down etc with no problem, but with doing that, it makes my alert box smaller. Is this because it is wrapped? How would I remove that so editing the padding on my text in the CSS does not change the size of the alert box?

Hey everyone, having an issue with Streamlabs currently. I’ll try to explain it the best I can (spent the last hour troubleshooting and my brain is kind of friend)

I stream on twitch and have my PS5 connected via Elgato Capture card (HD60S+) it has worked for months and sadly my Pc updated and I believe set my settings back to default in windows which I believe affected my Streamlabs set up. I tried searching up the Console faq page on streamlabs.com but I have a feeling the PS4 is a bit different from PS5 if I remember with setting up the audio initially.

TLDR: PS5 capture card works but game audio isn’t coming through on the audio mixer channel.

This is a dependency for Streamlabs and maybe this is causing it not to read your headset. Once you're done getting both downloaded/repaired you'll want to restart your computer and then try that again

I would assume the second one in the dropdown if you're trying to get GPU 1 and not GPU 0. tbh i haven't really seen this with someone using two of the same exact GPUs, but i would warn you about using dual gpus as it can actually cause more load on your PC than just using 1 to stream

The issue is that pci lanes on a motherboard typically don’t support the full x16 for GPUs once you go beyond a single GPU and it halves the performance of the GPUs

Even high-end boards supporting PCI 4.0 don’t have more than a single x16 lane

You may have not connected your twitch to your streamlabs website, to be able to find it, go to settings > Platforms > Merge Twitch

You'll need to perform these when you not live.

No, they are per platform and channel. Viewers on Twitch would start fresh.

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right channel to ask for help.

Basically, I am building a web app that allows a user to interact with the stream remotely, like changing the scene or adding text, even if the streamlabs instance that is streaming is not on the same machine and even in a different network.

Example: I click a button, the scene of the streamer who I am watching changes, and every other user watching that streamer at the same time can see the change.

I've tried many tutorials online, and even asked chatGPT but they only seem to only talk about connecting with locally run instances. I'm currently looking into the streamlabs desktop rpc-based API to see if I can let a user control a stream by using a token.

In any case, I'd like for all of this to be able to work client-side without any need to implement a backend server, if not, that's alright too

That's way outside the scope of technical support we provide in this channel and not directly related to Streamlabs Desktop or other Streamlabs services. I'd ask over in #1095099104394223768 to see if anyone has an input on this project. Likely you'd need the streamer to running a websocket along with their streaming software so that the scenes and sources would be accessible but that opens a whole lot of security issues since the you'd have to know a lot of information about the streamer's setup which is considered confidential information, like their WAN TCP/IP address.

OBS Studio is already capable of this when used along with the OBS Remote websocket. A lot of streamers use that setup along with Streamlabs Chatbot to allow users to change scenes or pop up sources on stream for a period of time.

But that all runs locally with the streamer. Lots of hoops to jump through to do that remotely.

I've had issues with crashing too. Nothing obviously causes it for me but it is frustrating. Twitch will just go offline with no notification, then Streamlabs will crash shortly after. It has only happened three times in the past 6 months, but that's three times too many. 😕

Hello guys, I have a very basic problem which probably has an easy solution, but I can't do it alone, someone has subscribed with prime on my twitch and I got the message in twitch chat but nothing was displayed in streamlabs mini feed. Also the alert for subscribe didn't trigger.

So, they actually take a code generated from your Streamlabs application and give you specific diagnostic fixes. I highly recommend trying Ultra at least once just to take advantage of the support option in your case.

Some common fixes you can try are disabling "hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" under Windows graphics settings (if enabled) and running Streamlabs as an administrator at launch by right clicking on the application.

Can anyone help me with my stream audio issues? I want to have a recording for youtube that doesnt include background music, so I seperated my audio tracks into 3, one for game and desktop audio, one for my microphone, and one for chrome which is the background music. I have game and desktop audio on track 2, and microphone on track 3. the chrome audio is not selected so it is not in the recording. For some reason, it shows in the mixer it is picking it up, but in the actual recording it is not there. @coarse crater Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. The last two days I’ve experienced my stream dropping into 0 kb/s suddenly doing multi streaming, and is unable to regain connection. If only stream to one platform (twitch) it works flawlessly without any issues. Ive restarted my router and been into contact with my ISP, and everything looks fine on their end. What up fellow streamers, I am in need of some assistance todaaaay! I have recently switched over to PC and OBS, got Streamlabs and the Chatbot all set-up, everything is good, my issue is when multiple things happen back to back, even like a min or two apart, the alerts don't go off again; for example, two friends re-subbed yesterday, the first resub went off fine and I was excited cause I figured it all out and it worked haha, but then like a min or min and a half later the 2nd friend re-subbed and it didn't go off. Same thing keeps happening with all the other alerts, and my custom chat command !ds, it will work the first time, but if someone wants to do it again, it won't work for a good while; Any help with this would be appreciated! typically if you relog into twitch it should be fine. otherwise in settings > video flip flop the two numbers. so if it says 1080x1920, make it 1920x1080

Streamlabs Console isn't free.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.
