Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Are you seeing a black screen on Twitch? He most common problem of this is having the bitrate too high. Twitch has a bitrate limit of 6000.

What is seen on the “on camera” display is not going to be the same as what you seen in streaming software. I would make sure your Auto White Balance, Auto Exposure and Auto ISO are turned on in the camera settings.

You’ll have to read through the manual for the camera and how to set it up as a webcam. I don’t have a Sony camera so I’m not familiar with them. The manual and the Sony support pages for the camera should be able to give you guidance on getting the settings right.

Okay. If you want to record, I’d recommend changing to x264 software for recording (assuming you’re not trying to stream and record at the same time).
The cpu is more capable than your GPU of running 1080.

If you weren’t trying to record in 1080p and were aiming for 720p60 you might be able to get away with nvenc encoding. Let’s start by changing over the encoder to x264 software and see how it goes from there.

Did you change any of the color range settings on the 4K60 pro? If it’s trying to pull in the camera as an HDR source that may be what you’re seeing as the camera isn’t outputting HDR to the capture card

You unfortunately have the budget GTX card so it’s limited by vram and other cuts Nvidia made to get it on the market.

One thing I will recommend checking is opening task manager and verifying your RAM is running at the right clock speed. Ryzen CPUs benefit from RAM running at the correct speed and typically it isn’t running as fast as it can out of the box. Do you know what your ram speed is supposed to be?

Alert box not playing Sound or Gif, tried getting support in the discord server, still no help. I confirmed multiple times that the "browser source" link was correct. I am using OBS Studio

When i press "LAUNCH" for the widget, it opens the green screen, and alerts can be played/heard from there, however, within OBS studio, it doesnt work.

My other browser sources (like sound alerts from other websites still works)

So I think I found a work around for what I want , so if I have it set as an mic separate audio capture and have v(which is in game mic button ) added as push to talk hot key and then still have audio app capture for rust to pick up what others are saying in game as well as game sound that should work right? @neon crow

I do have a problem of my own for those who know about recording with a different format and remuxing it to MP4 such as MKV to MP4.

I like recording in MKV format because I know that I can recover the video if there are any errors while recording. So when I am done recording, I am in need to remux the file to MP4 to edit with in Premiere Pro.

So how do I remux the recording I did with Streamlabs Desktop even though Streamlabs Desktop doesn't have a remux function of it's own? Do I have to download another software that can remux like OBS Studio or Wondershare's UniConvert to remux all MKV recordings from Streamlabs Desktop with?

Yes, another software like Handbrake should be able to remux it for you. The remux feature from OBS Studio isn't in Streamlabs Desktop. I'm not sure why as the Volunteers aren't privy to the roadmap for it. Heck, if you have OBS Studio install, their remux function should be able to do the trick as well.

Official SLOBS guidelines says I shouldn't stream above 2800 bitrate at 720p30. However, YouTube guidelines say I can go up to 4000 bitrate. Would there be any effect if I were to stream at 4000? I have been for the past while and cannot notice any difficulties anywhere.

If you've got enough upstream bandwidth, feel free to increase your bitrate. But yeah, there's a point where more doesn't really help make the stream better.

Me personally say more is better to provide good content for your viewers. I stream about min to mid range on the 1080p60 spectrum and have noticed no issues. The only 2 choke points are the quality of the router such as how long you've had it for and how good is your internet speed as what @gritty isle just mentioned.

Thanks for confirming! In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Advanced -> Sources and uncheck the option Enable Browser Source Hardware Acceleration, click Done to save the settings, and restart Streamlabs OBS.

If you're streaming to Twitch, you can test before you go live, just launch Streamlabs Desktop, go to the scene with the Chatbox, then go to your Twitch chat page in a web browser, and type in your chat. You should then see it in the preview window in Streamlabs Desktop.

Sounds like you have only one monitor? If you and you're on a PC, you can make use of the Game Overlay in Streamlabs Desktop. Settings -> Game Overlay. Anybody here using a Mevo Start? I had a Prime subscription which has lapsed. I'm looking to try the Mevo Pro subscription which is basically Streamlabs. It even prompts me to login with my "streamlabs ID" , however I originally signed up using a YouTube login , so I really don't have a proper streamlabs ID. I remembering having an issue in the past with the account being via. youtube. Anybody know what I should do here?

Took us a bit to decipher this, apologies. This is a Logitech product. For your Streamlabs ID, I would go to the Streamlabs web site using this URL: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/slIDSettingsPage and log in with your YouTube. Then setup your Streamlabs ID. Mevo also seems to have their own Discord: https://discord.gg/caxn9VPFeb

Okay, thanks for that. Let’s try refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Trovo. Log out in Streamlabs Desktop and and quit Streamlabs Desktop then log out of the Streamlabs web site. Then follow this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account. At the end of the guide, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Trovo; that re-establishes the connection.

If you are just wanting game audio in the recording and nothing else, including your mic, set all these to disabled.

Just remember you would need to enable them if you go to stream.

Since your using the audio input capture source to just get the game audio.

Okay,that’s a common problem with multistreaming. Twitch has a bitrate limit of 6000 so,if your bitrate is higher than that, you’ll end to it down to 6000.

Yes, I changed the Color Format to P010 and the Color Space to Rec. 2100. But for some reason Streamlabs keeps changing it back to I420

Don’t think there is a way to do that since that has to be set for a specific application. I don’t think it has an automatic setting.

I do have the same problem. It just reverts back to 8-bit after changing it to 10-bit so I can record in Rec. 2100 (PQ). So It might be a bug with Streamlabs.

The funny thing is that the 10-bit recording was working earlier on an earlier version of the Streamlabs Desktop program, but with a little twist. Before I could get 10-bit video recording to work, I had to manually go into the 'Advanced' tab under 'Settings' and manually put it to 8-bit and then back to 10-bit (P010) before it would work everytime I started up the program, even though it was already set on the 10-bit 'P010' color format. So it was somewhat bugged earlier too.

Now that doesn't work at all.

For me and my 2070 RTX Super, I get good results with the NVENC new encoder. I can't say I've tried the not new one but I suspect it would be fine. I've heard in the past Nvidia 3xxx series card work better with the not new encoder. 🤷‍♂️ Not sure if that's still true or not.

Sounds like refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and Twitch might help out!

First, logout in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then log out of the Streamlabs web site. Then follow the guide from the bot below. 👇

Hi I'm new to streamlabs. I started using one of the free themes, then updated a few of the scenes, then decided I did not like the animation between scenes, so went looking for how to turn that off. I switched from the "Streamlabs Dark Mode" scenes collection to "scenes" a blank collection, then switched back and my webcam stopped working. Any ideas on how to get it back on again?

Sources are not sorted by name. They’re considered “Layers” within a scene and appear in order of the list. Top sources are always shown, bottom sources are hidden behind the sources above.

Hello! I'm stumped trying to use the Twitch Charity Donation Goal. I used a custom one and was able to set up my widget. Looked great on stream. But the 1st time made a donation, the widget disappeared. Now, I can't get the widget to work at all. I reset the code to default, and even that wont show the progress bar...I'm lost at how to make it work!

You would need to look into nesting scenes and then applying the mask to a scene.
Create a scene with just your webcam, then add that scene as a source into another scene (like your “live” scene, then add the mask to the webcam scene in the source list

It’s likely a slow connection between you and the Cloudflare host in your region. If you have access to your cable modem, you can try shutting down your computer, pull the power cable from your cable modem for 5 minutes. Once the cable modem is back up fully, boot your PC and launch Streamlabs Desktop again.

Hi! Please check your settings and make sure that your input/output is correctly formatted. Sometimes, when streamlabs updates, the inputs and outputs become corrupted and you need to re-establish it after not streaming for a while.

First, please restart your computer.

After restarting, go to the search in Windows (found in the bottom left via the Search bar) or by clicking opening the Start menu.

Search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.

Once you have done that you will see a large number of files (https://i.imgur.com/MRoEYJT.png). Disregard these and open only the ProgramData folder

Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there (it will be highlighted if you searched correctly). Please delete this folder, then open Streamlabs Desktop as an administrator and try Game Capture once more.

Yes you can! Make sure that your audio works, and that your audio is actually being captured. Your audio may be muted!
