Did you add the Alert Box layer or did you add a custom source via URL? If custom source, remove that and then Add a widget -> Alertbox. Then remove the one you add with the custom source. And I removed your screen shots as it leaked your Streamlabs widget token.

I would go through your scene in landscape mode and portrait mode, delete the Alertbox widget and any other custom sources you added trying to get the Alertbox. Then save the scene then go back and just dd the Alertbox widget.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

Don't worry about the fonts for now. Just go through and remove the alert box and custom sources for the Alertbox, save the scene and then go back and add just the Alertbox. Its easier to configure the Alert Box from a Desktop PC rather than a mobile browser.

For now, you'll hav to use your mobile browser. On alerts that have messages, you might have to click the + sign to open that block to change the message settings, like the font. I get this can be difficult on mobile browsers.

There might not be any in the default sound library then. On mobile, your alerts may not make sound then. Mine are that way as I'm also using OGG format files. I have no viewers coming from mobile so its not a big deal for me. You might want to find WAV formatted sound files for each of your alerts and use those.

Move the Screen Capture to the bottom of the list. I see your Alert Box is currently on the bottom; that 'hides' it under the Screen Capture. Then go to Settings -> Advanced -> Sources and disable browser source hardware acceleration then restart Streamlabs Desktop and then go type in your Twitch chat and you should see it in your Preview window. You don't need to be live for that.

Hey guys. It's been about 6 months, and I can't seem to fix this problem. I can't capture my desktop sound at all. I've try changing where the sound is being captured, to checking the sound from playback, to looking at my task manager to see if there is a sound card interfering with it. Going to settings and optimizing. Changing default sound capture to other sound options. I'm just not sure what to do anymore. This all randomly happened when streaming one day. It just stopped capture audio.

If you've enabled the Twitch VOD option, and left the default of Track 2, anything audio source you want to have in the VOD should have track 2 enabled in the Advanced Audio Settings. If you have none of them on track 2, then there will be no audio in your VOD.

- Twitch VOD Track is a new feature implemented in 1.1.x, which allows users to exclude audio from Twitch VODs (video on demand). 
- The purpose of this feature is to exclude DMCA/Copyright music from your VOD. To enable this feature, first verify you have version 1.1.0 or above, (you can verify your version in the top left of Streamlabs Desktop) if you do not have this version, head over to https://streamlabs.com and download a new installer. 

# To Configure: 
- Settings > Output > Enable "advanced encoder settings” (if in Simple Output Mode) > Enable “Twitch VOD Track (Uses Track 2)”. If you would like to utilize a different track you will need to be in Advanced output mode at the top of your Output settings. 

- Open Advanced Audio Options (settings wheel next to the Streamlabs Desktop mixer). 
- On the right hand side, see tracks 1 through 6 highlighted, if track 2 (default Twitch VOD Track) is highlighted for any audio sources, the audio will go through to the VOD. 
- If another VOD track is used, then that specific track will mute the audio going through to the Twitch VOD. 

Make sure to only use the Twitch VOD track for any audio that should go to the Twitch VOD. To exclude a source from the VOD, ensure the configured VOD track is not enabled.```

Hello, can anyone assist with the correct recording settings. I have a 3090 GPU and an AMD 7900x with an Alienware aw3423dwf monitor. I am trying to setup streamlabs just to record stuff for myself. I will deal with streaming another day. I noticed when I would record it looked washed out so I found I needed to change the Color Format to P010 and the YUV Color Space to Rec. 2100 PQ. But when I do that I have to use VBR Rate control instead of CQP. So now the color is back but the quality and frames are not so great. I am using NVENC HEVC (new) encoder.

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

The 3000 series cards work best with the the NVENC encoder (not the NEW one). So I'd switch the encoder and try another test record.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

The only way is trial and error, meaning you have to stream and see if the audio doesnt go out of sync.

Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

You shouldn't be using your stream key. Those have been depricated and will eventually not function. You should connect your Twitch account inside your Streamlabs.com dashboard instead.

I think I understand now. Can you remove the starting soon from your brb scene, and then add a new source for your brb screen. At the window that pops up there is a toggle at the bottom to add a new source instead of using the existing one. Click that and select your BRB assets

Essentially it's asking you to acknowledge that Streamlabs app gets access to record the screen and you understand that anything displayed on the screen could be broadcast. If you accept that the app will do these things, you can simply tap "Jetzt starten".

If you're capturing both windows using two separate window capture sources, I'd recommend using the Windows "Snap" feature and simply snap the windows to the each side of the screen and then crop out what you need to.

That could be a camera setting not being remembered. You might check and make sure the app has the correct settings. If it is automatically applying then it may be reducing the resolution.

There isn't a way to match windows pixel for pixel within windows, so short of splitting your screen into fourths and resizing windows appropriately I'm not sure the best way to do it.

So the issue you're going to run into is the "dragging a new window". When you're dragging a new window outside of the other two, you're going to run into issues because you won't be able to place them in the exact same spot.

Honestly I’ve used streamlabs since I’ve started my streaming career and pay for the ultra. Truth be told, I’ve been heavily disappointed in the platform. It boasts streaming on multiple platforms, but once I get past 2 platforms the app crashes and burns. It green-screens a majority of the time, and is extremely glitchy. I have a brand new computer, it seems like simply just owning the app over time it deteriates. Even adding the display capture tanks the stream. Wondering general settings you recommend to be able to have quality streams. Is there a way to view which version and when the app needs an update?

So you want a separate display capture in each scene. This will make it work correctly. You will want to create a left table scene and label the source as Left Capture, then repeat for the Right side. This will ensure that it's working correctly and you can switch between the two.

But the cropping itself is hard. I mean if you pay close attention you will see if one scene is slightly bigger than the other

Hey guys, when I have been going live on Facebook lately I have noticed that my stream will drop frames. It’s supposed to stay at 60 fps at 1080p. It will dip under 10 and eventually come back up to 60. My upload is over 40mbps and I have a 3090 nvidia card. Bitrate is set to 6000. Do you guys know what it could be??

Sometimes you might want a goal that says "Next 15 followers and I will play X game" or something like that. So you would need it to start at 0 and not your current count level.

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing because Twitch probably doesn't provide that.

A goal is completely different than a count. A count would indicate the current number of a thing, where a goal is counting from 0 to a number.

The two are often confused for each other

You’re over complicating the purpose of the goals and counters, and if you’re utilizing goals and counters in a manner that is non-standard that requires additional setup, that is not the fault of the platform. They are by design intended to be simple and easy to use. Yes you can customize them to do additional things, but that customization is at your own time and energy. Implying that it’s “pointless” when a use case is outside the 80/20 rule is not necessary.

Okay, if you have added the Alert Box to your scene, the right click on the Alert Box source, select Transform, then select Center on Screen. This will move the Alert Box so that it moves to the middle of your screen.

When the alert box presents an alert, it will show in the middle of your screen.

This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.

By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.

The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?

• After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
• This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

Make sure Cloudbot is toggled on and is a moderator on your YouTube channel. Also note that for YouTube, your stream must be Public. If you’re still having issues…

Follow these steps to reset Cloudbot. Do not skip or shorten the waits. Make sure Streamlabs is not banned on your channel.

1. Unmod streamlabs
2. Toggle Cloudbot off
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
5. Mod streamlabs
6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

We can request a hard reset of the alert box for you. You need to be offline in order to have this done.

You have to log out of Streamlabs Desktop and quit Streamlabs Desktop. And you need to logout of the Streamlabs web site on any device you use it with and clear the cache in that web browser. Then I ask the staff to hard reset your alert box in the system.

You won’t lose any settings or data.

My streamlab can’t update, it’s always stuck at 150/157 and then it’s show the error that you have to try again later or download a new installer

Reboot your PC and make sure nothing is running. The. Go to the Streamlabs web site and download a fresh installer.

Then run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. You won’t lose any data and you don’t need to uninstall first.

At the end of the installer,,don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, but rather quit the installer and reboot your PC again.

So I'm doing streamlabs with Twitch, and up to this point everything with alerts is working to my knowledge, except for the charity alerts. I am going through Twitch's charity, since they are the ones that have the charity I've chosen to herald, but each donation I've gotten for them has failed to play the alert, and I swear the settings are correct for it all, and the test charity alert donation button works fine. Absolute silence when it happens for real though sadly... I've scoured the internet and the help section for hours with no luck as to what might be awry....

Twitch Charity and Streamlabs Charity are 2 different things. I do not know any Alert service for Twitch Charity. You may have to inquire twitch directly.

Hi there! It seems as though SLOBS is cause my PC to freeze every 30 seconds or so momentarily and then resume about 2 seconds later. I can tell because my mouse will freeze or my camera will freeze. Like when I have OBS just open and am streaming it seems to work fine, when I have just the game open with OBS its fine, but the moment I click "go live" my computer damn near boils

And it's not a potato PC, like sure it's not a gaming PC, but it can run the game and the streaming software separately just fine (And I'm tired of pretending that $500 is "low budget")

Hello! Was using the Twitch VOD option without issues until recently, but now the option is missing? Running 1.12.5
Option still appears in Advanced Audio->Global Settings, but it just unsets itself when navigating away from the setting.

Tried several trouble shooting steps. Restarting between each test. Set to simple, restart, set to advanced. Log out, restart, login.

hey folks..I have this weird issue where if I am streaming my audio bars on streamlabs dont move even if the audios playing but if I tab out of game they work . The stream preview also freezes a lot when in game and then the chat and feed go black and if I tab out they come straight back. Any suggestions please

Do you have another platform like YouTube or Facebook merged in your Streamlabs account? If so, log out again and log in with one of these other platforms then quit and relaunch Streamlabs Desktop and then log out and log back in with your Twitch. I would also untick Enforce streaming service encoder settings.

Added YT for streaming after issues started, but while troubleshooting, all services have been logged out. No luck with "Enforce" unticked and restarted SL.

Do you mean switch your Primary account in Streamlabs from TikTok to Twitch or do you mean something else?

It really doesn't matter what your Primary account is. If you have Streamlabs Ultra, purchased when logged in with your Primary account, then any account merged in your Streamlabs account has those benefits.

Settings -> Video, change the Output Resolution.

Remember TikTok forces the portrait mode and every other platform wants the landscape mode.

So if your Output Resolution is something like 720x1280, swap the values around so it is 1280x720.

This is a common problem with TikTok.

Interesting. I would log out of Streamlabs Desktop and quit it. Then go and download a fresh installer of Streamlabs Desktop and run the installer as administrator and let in install over your existing installation. At the end of the installer, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop. Rather, just quit the installer and then reboot your PC. Once your PC is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch.

The go to the Streamlabs web site https://streamlabs.com/, click the Download button then once the download starts, click the Dashboard link and log in using the YouTube channel you want to live streaming on. Then once the installer is downloaded, run the installer and let it install. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with the same YouTube channel you used to log into the web site. Then just follow the guide.

You mean scenes? You can just make your own! Just add a Scene called BRB and in that scene add an image source or a text source. Add other scenes the same way. You can set hot keys to switch between scenes.

Here's my BRB scene... I've got the Alert Box, in case an alert comes through whilst I'm away, an image with the text of 'Be right back!', and some music.

If you're looking for Themes and Overlays, you can enter Free in the Search Box to find the free ones.

3. Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in

If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.
