It will share the link for what ever platform you are logged in with. Since for now you're logged in with your Twitch, it shares that. If you want it to give out a YouTube based tweet, log out and log in with your YouTube.

You should be able to open a Finder window and navigate to the Applications folder and drag Streamlabs into the list in order to add it. Sometimes if it doesn't populate in the list, you can drag & drop it into a privacy list. You'll need to make sure that your System Preferences are unlocked prior to dropping it in.

Hi Guys, for the last week [ i believe after my stream deck update] My stream deck doesnt want to work with Slobs when I start Stream, I have to actually close Slobs, Which ends my stream and re open it for it to work, is there a way to fix this or a way to refresh Slobs without actually ending stream as im very forgetful and dont always remember to close and reopen it before I go live. Even if I do remember its very frustrating so hoping someone knows a fix for this?

Sometimes, the in-game overlay chat will not update, and I will not see messages until I check the actual twitch livestream, or see it in the streamlabs program. I have lost viewers because of this issue, who think Im ignoring them so they leave. The overlay, for whatever reason, decides not to update the chat messages or display them after a certain point.

@past stratus Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.

Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

I see you are streaming to Twitch. A very common problem is that your bitrate is too high for Twitch. Twitch as a bitrate limit of 6000.

I have my replay buffer set to 3 minutes, yet the replay buffer usually only saves the last 28 - 29 seconds and VERY rarely it saves a random time between 1 - 3 minutes (example; 2:23 minutes) but never saves the 3 minutes I NEED for my clips. Is there any fix to this?

Replay buffer In Simple Mode it has a limit of 512mb
In Advanced Mode it is ALSO 512mb, unless rate control is set to CBR, ABR or VBR, in which case it's unlimited.

Double check if you are not hitting the 512mb cap on size.

It's unlimited clip size if I change it to CBR, ABR or VBR? All the clips are about 490 - 511mb I see now, although weird that some are less than 30 seconds and others up to 3 minutes.

You'll need to perform these when you not live.

👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.

Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Sounds like you're including YouTube. I would go to your YouTube Studio and if you have any live streams that say Upcoming, delete all those and try again. Make sure you're not clicking the Schedule button (looks like a calendar).

Make sure you are running Streamlabs Desktop as administrator. And if you haven't rebooted your PC in a while, reboot it and see how things are after that. It could be your PC is installing updates in the background or something in the System Tray is causing that.

Sounds like you're hitting a resource limit some where. I'd monitor the bottom of the Streamlabs Desktop window to see if there is high CPU usage or if skipped, lagged, or dropped frames are being reported.

Im having an issue where streamlabs in-game chat overlay is not updating messages while Im streaming, leading my viewers to believe I am ignoring them and they leave. the chat messages are showing up on twitch itself, and in the streamlabs program, just not in the overlay (after a certain point). Sometimes turning the overlay on and off again works, but by the time I notice it its usually too late

Sounds like a resource issue to me. If you're using your hardware encoder and are experience the same issue, I would:

1. Set the monitor's refresh rate to either 60 or 120.
2. Cap the in game FPS to the same value, 60 or 120.
3. Set the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to the same value, 60 or 120.

And be sure to run Streamlabs Desktop as administrator.

I would also go to Settings -> Notifications and enable all the settings and set the sliders to like 15% and see if you get any reports.

I'd also set the game to run in the same resolution you have set as your Output Resolution to further reduce the load on your GPU.

Have you rebooted you PC? We helped someone a few weeks ago with a similar issue. If you've rebooted and still get the message about Twitch Soundtrack:

1). Please uninstall the Twitch soundtrack plugin via "add or remove programs" then press your Windows key and search %appdata% then open the slobs-plugins folder, then the obs-plugins folder, then you can delete the soundtrack .dll file.

2). Make a new scene collection in Streamlabs Desktop and see if that helps.

3). Go live, then click the gear icon to the upper right of your volume mixer in Streamlabs Desktop, then uncheck track 6 and tick it back on.

If the Audio is coming in before the Video, you would want to add a Audio Sync Offset.

• Advanced Audio Settings (Gear Icon to the Top Right of the Mixer in the Editor Window)

If the Video is coming in before the Audio, you would want to add a Render Delay Filter.

• Right Click on the Source in your Sources List > Click Filters > Add a Render Delay Filter

• Note, you may need to possibly add delays to more that just one device, as delaying one could cause issues with another.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream

• In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
• In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
• In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)

If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.

• You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

So if you’re adjusting the audio sync, each 100ms = 1/10th of a second. I recommend usually adjusting in increments of 100 until you get close, then adjusting increments of 10, until you’re as close as possible. Audio sync does take positive and negative values which means you can move forwards or backwards.

Hi maybe im bad with computers but i have streamlabs desktop 1.12.5 and im not sure what happened but every time i close out of the program it completely signs me out of twitch in the program. The problem is that every time I click streamlabs obs to go live or etc, i have to relogin into twitch in the chat section as well as go through the initial set up, which is a bit bizarre because ill set it up, do a stream, end stream, close out of stream labs obs, wait approx 1 -2 min then reopen and acts like i just installed it again. maybe its user error but i havent had a issue until about a week - 3 weeks ago

This is usually caused by your bitrate being too high.
Twitch has a bitrate limit of 6000.
If your bitrate is higher than that, please end your stream and lower your bitrate.

For some reason, I can go live on streamlabs and see my preview and it has no issues, but if I got live it says im live on twitch but its just a black screen. If I end the stream the VOD is just fine, perfect quality with everything i just did with audio. Ive updated all my drivers, relogged into twitch thru streamlabs, and installed the C++ version recommended. I have no idea what to do.

Well with mutltistreaming, you have to compromise. Twitch has a bitrate limit of 6000 so if you include Twitch, your bitrate should not exceed 6000. TikTok wants your Output Resolution to be vertical rather (720x1280) rather than landscape (1280x720) like all the other platforms. Facebook will also sometimes limit your bitrate if you're not part of their Level Up program. Once you start the stream, most of the configurations options are set and cannot be changed unless you end your stream.

So if you're not going live as well to Facebook or TikTok, it could be your bitrate (6000 is too high for Facebook if you're not in their Level Up program; if not, they like a bitrate of 4000 if I recall correctly) and perhaps the Output Resolution is wrong for TikTok (1280x720 instead of 720x1280). Do you have an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription?

The problem is not in the settings, because I tried to stream on the same ones individually on each of these platforms and everything works, the problem occurs when I turn on the multi streaming option, the internet also works without any problems. After starting multi, fps and bitrate freeze at the top of the screen and streams do not start at all on platforms, I can't use the stop button and turn off the stream, the only option is to turn off the application completely.

I would force quit all the apps on your iPhone and reboot your iPhone then would try again with just the camera, no other widgets except maybe the Chatbox. Could be that the amount of widgets you have in use is too much.

The application is responding but the STOP button is not responding, even though I click it nothing happens,
When it comes to freezing fps and bitrate, those indicators at the top of the screen that show bitrate and fps on an ongoing basis stop at one value, e.g. 16fps and 2634bitrate and stand still.

Correct. The elgato card is drawing power from your PC. If you turn off the PC you will need to connect the HDMI cable directly to the monitor to play. The elgato card will only send a signal if the PC is on and powering the card.

Your original question was regarding Multistreaming to twitch and tiktok, which requires mentioning the terms of service. That being said; it is possible to Multistream to both twitch and tiktok as a streamlabs ultra subscriber. I would advise caution when Multistreaming and consider your output resolution and bitrate for your encoder to ensure quality streams.

Hey guys, I'm trying to set up my stream so that my microphone is only active when I am pressing my discord push-to talk button. However, despite setting up the same PTT button in streamlabs as in discord, my microphone just stays always active in streamlabs, it doesnt get muted when I am not pressing the PTT button.

I have made sure the sound is not coming from any other audio input device, its definitely my microphone still picking up sound and boradcasting it when the PTT button isnt pressed.

EDIT: Push to mute works, and does mute that sound output, but when push to mute isnt active it is just always on instead of being muted and only being on when I press PTT.

I know “downtime” during a subathon is not ideal. You can try a non-invasive fix by refreshing the alertbox cache

Open the properties of the alertbox and there should be a button to refresh it

Hi! I see this has been a common thing - I also lost alerts tonight and yesterday in the middle of stream. Alerts just completely stopped working and stopped showing in the mini feed. Is there any sort of update on why this is happening?

Something similar happened to me a month or so ago. I went through a bunch of troubleshooting that didn't fix it and y'all had to do some sort of update.
EDIT: I want to add when this happened before, alerts didn't work at all until Streamlabs support fixed it. This time it is occurring, closing Streamlabs Desktop and reopening it causes alerts to work, but then they stop working again mid-stream.

I don’t see that the system gave you the role. I would remove the integration, logout of Discord, restart Discord, logout of the Streamlabs web sit, clear the cache in the web browser, restart the web browser, log back into Discord; log back into the Streamlabs web site and finally perform the integration again.

Hello! I allow TTS when someone subs, donates or cheers bits, but every time they do I always hear the TTS voice say “use custom fields” and then the person’s message afterwards. Under the “message template” section, I deleted that as it was already typed in there for me. Any way to fix this?

I've never tried Low Latency before but I have noticed a delay in my stream and the viewers watching, so I'm considering trying it.

Additionally, does enabling new network code work well with low latency mode? The two options are beside each other. From what I can see on Google, it can help reduce frame drops - but do these options have a large demand on hardware?

Is your mouse USB as well? If both devices are resetting, I'd make sure that both are plugged directly into the PC and not into a USB Hub. A powered USB hub might work.

In Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP and select the IP address of your PC in the drop down menu. Usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10. You might have to end your stream to make this change. If you still have issues after that, please follow the instructions from the bot below.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Make sure that you're not using the web cam in other other software when you're using it Streamlabs Desktop or OBS Studio. Make sure the drivers and/or software for the camera are up to date.

I would alto try this:

1. Remove the video capture source that's for the web camera in any scene that you have it.
2. Quit Streamlabs Desktop.
3. Reboot your PC.
4. When the PC is back up, make sure nothing else is running, not even Discord.
5. Launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator.
6. Add the video capture source back in only one scene.

Make sure your alerts are not muted. At the top right of the Mini Feed should be a speaker icon. Is it red with a slash through it? If so then the alerts are muted. Click that icon to unmute them.

There's no other way; it has to be done in tickets since your Primary account holds all of your data; you scenes and sources cloud backup, your donation history, all your widget settings, your merch store, etc. If you try to manually change your Primary, you could lose all this data.

Trying to use audio capture application feature to capture valorant team voice chat, but the game and guns are captured but not the team voice. I try to create a new audio source with the same feature but cant find any option to soingle out team chat, had it working once, but everytime i restart the stream labs i have to reset all my options for spotify, discord, etc. and because of this i lost the voice chat many times

Your Tip URL is created based on the channel name of the platform that is the Primary account in Streamlabs. If you have an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription, you can customize your Tip Page design. The only way to actively change your Tip URL itself it by having a custom domain (Streamlabs Ultra required) or by having your Primary as Twitch (then you can just change your name on Twitch).

Apparently the valorant audio engine was running through "Explorer" and was labelled as "Explorer.exe: Stream" and the game audio comes from "Valorant.exe"

Weirdest trouble shoot ever and doesn't always solve the issue especially since I have to reset all the App Audio Capture sources everytime I relaunch streamlabs... It is beta tho so hopefully that can be fixed soon

Hello, I am having trouble. I have been using Streamlabs for overlays since ever. And all of the sudden the alerts are not playing anymore on my phone. I’m using an app called IRL PRO with the widgets from streamlabs. However when I get a sub, the sub goal doesn’t add anything. I am using a widget from stream elements and that one updates great. Not sure if anyone can help with this, but my streamlabs randomly dropped massive frames to the point of disconnection earlier and ever since, it's dropped frames to the point of disconnecting again and again. I've gotten multiple instances of "stream channel or key is not available, please logout and sign back in". I've done that repeatedly, done uninstall/reinstalls, reset my router multiple times and it's still activing very sluggish and running upward of 23 instances at once, I even tried changing the setting so it would dynamically change with framerate drop and nothing. Most likely it is related to your upload capability from your console

Have you tried 720p60 to see if it makes a difference?

My streamlabs when I start a stream after a few minutes it starts saying that it has dropped frames :0% over last 2 minutes and I already tried to lower the bit rate but nothing changes or nothing happens.
My stream crashes when I'm playing the game at 900 fps without any problem, I've tried everything to make sure everything works correctly but it's complicated
If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful!

Hello ! I've a minor problem with my alert (and I'm not quite sure if it's from OBS or streamlabs directly) : when I test my bits alert from streamlabs, I got the good one in OBS but if it's someone who's donating bits ... it's the default one who's appear in OBS.

No, Streamlabs Console only works with Twitch. To multistream, you would need a PC or a Mac and an active Streamlabs Ultra subscription.

Me personally, I have not heard of this issue. I would remove your Streamlabs account in the Stream Deck application and then restart the Stream Deck application, and finally add your Streamlabs account back. If you continue to have issues, I would submit a ticket.

You might have an incomplete alert variation for your bots alert. Disable to delete the incomplete alert variation. If that’s not the case, the. Check to make sure you have Custom HTML/CSS disabled.

If you disable the incomplete variation, then the alert will use the settings above. If you have a bits event in your Mini Feed, you can open Streamlabs Desktop and then replay that event (you don’t need to be live) and see how it will work.

For sound, you need to use WAVE format. I see in your screen shot the sound file is in OGG format. And if you're not seeing the alerts, did you add the Alert Box layer to your scene in Streamlabs Mobile?
