I’m trying to use it for like my YouTube live thing, I’m trying to go live on YouTube and I need a streaming software so I’m trying to use stream labs and can’t find where to put my stream key anywhere

Okay thanks for confirming that. On the Xbox, you’d have to see if Xbox streaming app will let you go live on YouTube. On the Xbox using Streamlabs, you can only use Twitch.

You would need to have a working PC. I’ve googled and saw several older videos that purport to show you how to stream from an Xbox to YouTube but all the answers from Microsoft say that they only support streaming to Twitch.

You probably either forgot to press save at the bottom or you have an alert variation. it's easy to see those in Streamlabs.com instead of editing on Streamlabs Desktop if that's where you're trying to edit.

It looks your using Cloudbot with variables from Chatbot. That is why it’s not working. While you are at the Cloudbot page on the Streamlabs web site, there is a listing of all the variables and their syntax that are available in Cloudbot.
Woops, you're right. I was tinkering around with cloudbot and another one, I must have messed it up using both documentations

Yes, that looks like a widget space. I’d click the Hamburger menu, then scenes and then remove everything except the Camera layer. For example here’s my Default layout, you can see the widgets and the camera layer.
In my Testing layout, all I have is the camera layer.

Hello, I tried to setup my Stream Labels, with tutorial on YT channel but somehow I can't see anything in "most_recent_follower.txt" neither in program Stream Labels (and I am login into twitch account). Also in OBS is not showing anything (and I have recent follower 5 days ago... and 62 in total rn). Thanks for any help

There was an issue back on April 1st that impacted the ability for Streamlabs to detect new follows on Twitch. That was resolved that day but still some users are impacted.

Hi there! 👋 Refreshing the connection between Streamlabs and the end platform will resolve this. Please follow exactly all the steps in this guide: https://streamlabs.com/content-hub/post/how-to-disconnect-your-streamlabs-account Including the log outs. You'll need to perform these when you not live.
👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.
Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.
Since you are not using Streamlabs Desktop, you can skip the step where the guide asks you to log out of Streamlabs Desktop. But instead, please be sure to log out in the Streamlabels application and quit the Streamlabels app. Please be sure to log out of the Streamlabs web site on any device you're using it with.
At the end of the guide, launch the Streamlabels app and log back in to re-establish the connection.

Can you try these steps out for me?
First, please delete your game capture and close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/918160373264306206/918162974265466911/unknown.png?width=960&height=538). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.
Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Try the different options in the Mode drop down menu in the properties for Game Capture. Some games don't allow Game Capture in order to prevent cheating. If you can't get Game Capture to work, try setting the game to borderless window more and try again.
sadly amnesia needs me to restart the game after changing fullscreen options. and if its already in full screen i cant select the specific game window. rip lol

If your Facebook is not your Primary platform in Streamlabs, then just go here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/settings/account-settings/platforms and click Unmerge on your Facebook.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

The issue with that is that I've been told to change my custom ingest server multiple times. First to default then back to custom.

Hi guys. Don't know if it is the right channel. I've a quesation about collab cam or find something similar to my purpose.
I've a twitch channell with a friend, we mostly stream coop game, but we usually stream only one screen at time. Now with the release of the new zelda we sould like to stream both our games, maybe switching or have a split screen. I've try to use collab cam widget, using my capture card (avermedia) as source, but it's not working. Any suggest or similar? We have also tried to capture a discord streaming but the quality is very low.

Yes there might be a way but as I have not experimented with collab cam enough just yet, I don’t have a good answer. I would think you could do it using streamlabs desktop and capture card as a virtual camera input into collab cam, and use phones for collab cam webcams…but again…haven’t played enough with it yet.
The strange thing is that i can select avermedia from collab cam but it give me this error

Everytime I try to use streamlabs thru my xbox it says I have to link subscription to my account. How do I do that?
Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.
when recording in 1080p by 1920p I usualy have it at high quality is there any reason to go any higher or is that for when you do 4k videos?
There isn’t really any reason to record higher quality if you are having good performance with 1080
I moved to high quality because I guess I was on same as stream because I was getting a slight fuzzy blur in my videos
but basically the other 2 above high are pointless? I tested them and saw no difference minus the audio bugging out and lag

Make sure your audio device is set correctly in the properties of the source
If you are using the desktop audio device inside the streamlabs desktop settings under the audio section, make sure that the correct device is selected from the drop-down menu
why when i try to import night bot it says in queue but when i refresh it says import again

I deleted the game capture and re-added it but it’s still doing same bug. Cannot see the game capture box or move it. Doing this to a few of my sources. Is there anybody here who can help?
Go into the Layout Editor. If you have the Stream Preview, swap it for the Editor Display.
If you aren’t seeing any devices in the drop-down list, I would recommend restarting your pc. If no devices show up after a restart, I would check your drivers
Just swapped it. Still not seeing my game capture window though.
Select the game capture then right click on it and choose Transform then Fit to Screen
Just changed it back to auto instead of capture specific window and it moved the capture window a bit. The fit to screen etc controls weren’t working though except on my smaller source windows

Just constant loading on that page and then loads when I start the stream finally no matter whether it’s an event or instant stream
My streamlabs loads up and it gives me the starting menu like I've never used it before? Been streaming for years and this has never happened. My scenes are thankfully still saved, but I had to re-connect to twitch, log into my chat when going live, etc.
When my stream was over, I exited streamlabs desktop and reloaded it out of curiosity, and the same thing happened.
Has this happened to anyone else/does anyone have a solution?

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?

Is there a good source on info about collab guest? Seems I can't sharing to work right for it. Audio doesn't work.
Though you will likely be able to hear your guest the moment they join your screen, your audience may not. Try adding an extra microphone source if this occurs.
Let me clarify. We can hear each other and so can the audience.
If I play a video in VLC, the guest can't hear the video.
Can they hear any other audio from other applications? Like if you play a game can they hear the game audio?
Nope.
That would be because the only audio being sent is your microphone. Your desktop audio is not sent over collab cam
I don’t believe there is an easy way to do what you are trying to do

No. If you’re not seeing your screen in streamlabs desktop for Mac, go into system settings > security & privacy > screen recording. Make sure streamlabs desktop is in the list and enabled
Also in the security & privacy settings make sure streamlabs has access to your Microphone as well

Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

Hello Stream labs is not loading for me, it did earlier but then froze. When I relaunched it, it is stuck in the loading phase (3 vertical flashing bars on screen - whilst tips appear below)

Are you asking about how the widgets are positioned (it appears you're using OBS Studio), or like Orsuna asked, that you have three alert boxes?
oh, i use OBS. i have 3 alert boxes. i've save them separately. But everytime i test one of them (follower, sub or donate) they shows up like that.

Hello. I use Streamlabs console and it works pretty good there is only one problem. The widgets and everything are 1080p but the gameplay coming from the Xbox is not 1080p and is a lower quality than the widgets. Currently, Streamlabs Console supports streams at 720p.
Please verify your audio devices are selected correctly.
1080p30 is also supported. Make sure you're not at 1080p60.

- Delete the current Browser Sources you have for the Alert Box
- On the Streamlabs Alert Box web site, click the Filter Events button, and uncheck any event you don't want for this particular alert box. So to start, uncheck everything but Follows.
- Then copy the Widget URL and paste it into a new Browser Source in OBS Studio.
- Then repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other events, subs and donations. Make sure you create a new Browser Source and don't reuse the Browser Source you made in step 2, but if you do, make sure you update the Widget URL.
With this configuration, you won't get alerts for Bits, Raids, Merch, Cloudbot Redemption, or Streamlabs Ultra Gift.

Make sure the audio source is not muted in the mixer on Streamlabs Desktop.

Some audio management software, like Nahimic 2, Sonic studio sound or motherboard audio software like Realtek HD Audio Manager or Sound Blaster Recon are known to cause issues. Try closing that kind of software, and also check Windows taskmanager if any processes with a similar name are running to be closed. If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

Select manually the desktop audio device (audio settings), you use as default device in Windows Sound, not setting it to default. Alternatively you can set it to disabled and add in the scene you want desktop audio an Audio Output Capture and select the device that is set as default device in Windows Sound.

I see you have left the Streamlabs discord.
I filtered out Follows and copied the Widget URL and opened a new browser tab and pasted the Widget URL and then tested all the alerts but Follows and only saw Follows alerts. I then filtered out Subs and tested and only saw Sub alerts in the browser tab that had only Subs events enabled. It appears you may not have correctly filtered out the events or didn't copy the Widget URL after filtering out the events.

Loopback should not be necessary if you are following the instructions to use collab cam with streamlabs desktop.

I recently added the leaderboard extension on twitch and ensured I had the correct settings. Even though we have subs and gifts nothing shows up on the leaderboard, its just blank.
I have tried asking around but no help. Not sure why its only us. I did link the twitch in streamlabs so really not sure.
It tracks live right? Even older subs will show up before the linking?

To be honest, loopback is an audio routing application and without knowledge of audio routing just adds complexity to your setup. If you don’t absolutely need it I would recommend removing it.
is there any way to make it so i dont hear myself in my headphones, i turned my scarlett audio set up to "monitor off" but i still hear myself.
It will only track going forward once you enable it on your channel. It won't go back in time and capture events in the past.

Hey guys! I am using an iPhone and just downloaded the app for IRL but I can’t see how to edit goals? This is my first time with streamlabs - widget is appearing but how do I input the numbers?
You need to go into the website and click “all widgets” and add a donation goal. Once you add it you can configure it in the website, and then when you add the donation goal to your mobile scene it will pull the information. Don’t forget to click “start goal” when ready to use it.
Is there a better way to add a friend’s webcam/display capture to your Streamlabs stream, other than just zooming them and display capturing that?

Ok, So a few Issues/Problems I'm having if anyone is willing to lend a hand.
Firstly Main issue is Stinger Transitions.
Whenever I use my stream deck, Hot keys or ever select a scene and the transition happens it makes a Buzzing noise.
Any fix to this? (Transitions are from Streamspell)
And the second problem I'm having is enabling VOD track. When I click enable VOD track it doesn't tell me when track is my VOD or comes up with a drop down or anything.

I'm having some trouble streaming on youtube. When I'm in streamlabs, everything looks perfect but when i stream on youtube, the webcam on my stream gets really blurry and I'm not sure why. @azure sun Delete all of your webcam sources in all of your scenes. Once it's completely removed, re-add it in a singular scene. Then if you need to add it to another scene choose Add from existing and not Create New. howdy, has anyone experienced an issue where an alert sound doesn't seem to... stick? As in, my custom follow alert sound reverts to the default one after a couple alerts. I'll delete the sound in my dashboard and re-add it and it'll work for a little bit but then revert to the default again. It only seems to be happening with my follow alert. Why am I getting copyright claims using music on the streamlabs music app?
Does anyone have any idea why my streams are constantly severely suffering at any form of movement? I have giga speed internet, my bitrate is max for what Twitch allows (CBR 6000), my keyframe interval is even at 1 (tried 2 as well), preset quality, profile high, and I've tried max b-frames at 0 and at 2.
I am currently running a 7900XTX 24GB Dedicated with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 64 gigs of RAM... Really shouldn't be having this issue, so if anyone could elaborate, I would really appreciate it!
Make sure you have the box to force GPU as render device disabled
Oh? What is that doing specifically?
It's basically using your GPU (which is already being used on your game) to render the stream. By disabling this, you allow your PC to use the CPU instead, taking the load off of your GPU. This box should only be ticked if you're on a dedicated streaming PC.
My GPU is much more robust than my CPU though... huh I guess I'll have to test it out
Think of it as you having 2 different jobs and they both need doing at the exact same time, there's no efficiency since you can only handle one at a time. However, if one job is handled by someone else, you can focus more on one job.
Weird analogy but it has helped others I've explained it to.
Your CPU handles the rendering whilst your GPU handles the game and it's graphics.
I'll do some research into that, because it seems like CPU rendering is insanely more intensive than GPU rendering, but I can always test light and see how it goes... Thank you for the info!
This information is unfortunately quite inaccurate though.
#1 Force GPU as render device is just for the preview window and would have very minimal impact. If you are having issues with CPU or GPU overloading, you would much more likely want to look at your encoder rather than render device.
#2 This would only help if your system is overloading. Which is very unlikely to affect the pixelation you are experiencing.
The issue you are having is most likely from running 1080p 60fps and 6000 bitrate I'm guessing?
6000 bitrate is quite limiting and there's only so much data that can be processed in that amount of bitrate. If you use too high of a resolution/fps combination, the stream will pixelate during faster movements.
Change output mode under Settings -> output to Simple and then lower output (scaled) resolution under Settings -> Video to 720 and you should see the issue completely disappear or very close to.
Yeah tbh that's what I've been more looking into... I've been talking to OBS staff as well, and it seems that is the general consensus, at least for Twitch. For Kick and YouTube, I can bump up the bitrate to 10,000, and 15,000 respectively and keep at 1080p, and I should be able to handle that... Thank you for the response as well!
Having a max bitrate of 6,000 is more and more coming to my understanding as being much too low to handle 1080p60 for higher graphics games, even though most people say it's the ideal amount... Hoping that's what does it! 👍

In Advanced Mode it is ALSO 512mb, unless rate control is set to CBR, ABR or VBR, in which case it's unlimited.

The only difference I can see in Task Manager compared to the first time I launched it (from the installer directly) is that the Crashhandler is now running when it wasn't before. Other than that, it's currently doing a tiny bit of CPU work and no disk work at all

Nope. In fact, I just did the trick again, killing from task manager and relaunching as admin, logging in, setting up mic and webcam, and it's quite literally doing nothing. I suppose I need to check my firewall settings?

So all SLOBS processes combined are currently using about 1% of my CPU, and 0.1 MB/s disk and network respectively, again at 100% analyzation. I really can't think of a reason it might continue to get stuck there
Oh this is interesting. There was an obs64 process running that would refuse to quit, so I killed that one too and restarted again. Now I'm getting the choice of theme again, so..that's different.

HTTP 401 is an "Unauthorized" response, so I would interpret that as my client not being authorized to access the streamlabs youtube API or something to catch my stream key?

I mean, I can stream to YouTube by manually entering the stream key etc. but if I do that, stuff like the chat box and alert box don't seem to work. Just using the automatic YouTube option throws me that error.
Okay so it doesn’t appear to be an issue with your YouTube account I would think.
You could try logging out in Streamlabs Desktop and quit it, go to YouTube and reset your stream key, wait at least 5 minutes, and then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log back in and see what happens. If that still gets you the same error, I’d definitely put in a ticket and include all this troubleshooting.

I checked and it’s not possible to exclude a source that’s on stream from going to your Twitch VOD. Selective recording works if your just recording locally.

Sounds like you have two different Streamlabs accounts. To make changes to your Primary account, you’d have to submit a ticket. We can’t assist with account changes in discord. If you’re actively using both Twitch accounts, there’s not a way to combine them into one Streamlabs account since you can only have one platform account merged.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.

Okay, please log out of the Streamlabs web site by clicking your Profile picture in the upper right and choose Logout. Then clear the cache only (don't clear cookies) in your web browser and restart the web browser, and then click here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox for the Alert Box page and see if your changes are there or not
Okay, as a side note, do you have any sort of process with named CFOS Speed Service running on your system? We've seen recently that this service can interfere with communication to Twitch ingests. If not, please go into the settings on Streamlabs Desktop: Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP and select the IP address for your PC, usually starts with 192.168 or 10.10 and then try to go live again.

Yes. It's not showing my camera, just the overlay for it.

It's not that the camera can't be used, I can't change the source at all. When I press the gear it simply loads and crashes to the point to where I have to use task manager to close it.
But it also isn't being used by other applications either.

Hello! I've been having some trouble with getting my desktop audio to work. I've tried many videos across YouTube to no avail and it's really starting to frustrate me. I use a USB wireless headset, and I want to have the audio captured in there. It used to work all fine and nifty before, now it just doesn't work anymore. It seems to work when I change my audio output to my monitor, but then I can't hear through my headphones and my mic would just pick up my monitor and create an echo. I've also tried reinstalling the program to no avail as well. Thanks for any help!

Okay, let's try this. Shut down your PC then pull the power cable on the cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes then plug it back in and once the cable modem is fully up, boot your PC and then try to go live.

Check to make sure the VTuber software is all up to date. Some software recognized the issue and pushed an update that could resolve the issue.

Uninstall all VTuber software from your system. Once uninstalled, close and re-open Streamlabs Desktop, then go into Settings > General > Configure Default Devices > Make sure the webcam of your choice is selected.
(I will mention that after you're able to get resolution #2 completed in full you can reinstall the VTuber software)

Thanks for confirming that. At this point it appears your ISP is perhaps the issue, you'll need to reach out to your ISP and tell them you're trying to live stream to Twitch and you cannot connect to their ingest servers. Might take a bit because some ISP's hear the word 'streaming' and think you're trying to watch Netflix, which obviously you're not.

On your PC, in Streamlabs Desktop, go to Settings -> Support and upload the diagnostic report then paste here the code it gives you. I can have the staff check to see they can spot any issues with your configuration.
First, please restart your computer.
After restarting, go to the search in Windows (found in the bottom left via the Search bar) or by clicking opening the Start menu.
Search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a large number of files (https://i.imgur.com/MRoEYJT.png). Disregard these and open only the ProgramData folder
Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there (it will be highlighted if you searched correctly). Please delete this folder, then open Streamlabs Desktop as an administrator and try Game Capture once more.

@somber sun in Streamlabs Desktop, please go to Settings -> Advanced -> Network -> Bind to IP and select the IP address for your PC and screen shot that then click Done and try to go live. The report shows that its still set for Default.

First I tried Game Capture, all it shows is a black screen. Then I tried Window Capture but doesn't give me an option for sea of thieves. ONly one that works is display capture.
Its natted so not publicly accessible. Just need to confirm that its set. I can delete the screen shot once I see it.

In Game Capture, go to the Mode drop down and try the specific window option and choose Sea of Thieves and see if that works.

Okay close your game, close streamlabs OBS, relaunch Streamlabs OBS as admin then delete your game capture, after deleting your game capture source open Sea of Thieves back up and add back your game capture source then use capture specific window to check.

And just to verify, this PC is able to access the Internet, like you can launch a web browser and go to YouTube and you can watch videos?
Have you tried to flush your dns?
On the taskbar search, type "Command Prompt."
Right click on Command Prompt and press "run as administrator."
When asked whether to allow Command Prompt to make changes to your computer, select Yes.
Open Command Prompt.
Type the command ipconfig /flushdns then press enter.
Ok so that didn’t work. I decided to uninstall streamlabs and redownload it but in a different location. Now it’s under C:\Program Files - streamlabs obs. And it appears to be working.
@somber sun We also would suggest installing the latest driver for your LAN adapter and see if that helps. Windows might have loaded an older one that isn't compatible.

We've had them shut down and power cycle the cable modem so that should have flushed their DNS.
It was on my c drive but for some reason having it in the program files folder is what made the difference

I've been having some trouble with getting my desktop audio to work. I've tried many videos across YouTube to no avail and it's really starting to frustrate me. I use a USB wireless headset, and I want to have the audio captured in there. It used to work all fine and nifty before, now it just doesn't work anymore. It seems to work when I change my audio output to my monitor, but then I can't hear through my headphones and my mic would just pick up my monitor and create an echo. I've also tried reinstalling the program to no avail as well. Thanks for any help!

Make sure the audio source is not muted in the mixer on Streamlabs Desktop.

Some audio management software, like Nahimic 2, Sonic studio sound or motherboard audio software like Realtek HD Audio Manager or Sound Blaster Recon are known to cause issues. Try closing that kind of software, and also check Windows taskmanager if any processes with a similar name are running to be closed. If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

Select manually the desktop audio device (audio settings), you use as default device in Windows Sound, not setting it to default. Alternatively you can set it to disabled and add in the scene you want desktop audio an Audio Output Capture and select the device that is set as default device in Windows Sound.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

I don’t believe the ALT key can be used as a keybind by itself. You’d need a modifier key in addition to alt

It’s a windows system key by default. Games can get away with using ALT as a keybind because they disable the ALT menu in the application.

It's like this: I have my twitch alerts made with the streamlabs page set to obs
the basic alerts work fine when testing them and when they donate or follow me they sound good.
But when putting the alerts with variations
For example 1 bit or 50 bits with different alerts
the basic looks good
And the variation is seen without text and if I remove the animation of appearing and disappearing it begins to play infinitely but the text does appear

Hey guys, I was streaming yesterday and had my collab cam disconnect twice. Once the guest could just rejoin but the send time we actually had to restart the stream for them to be able to rejoin. Does anyone know what the issue could be? I've had the same issue with multiple different guests from around the world. I was considering paying for Streamlabs Ultra to get more guests but if it keeps disconnecting like this then I'm a lot more hesitant 😅

You should never delete your cache unless directed to do so by a Streamlabs Volunteer or Streamlabs Staff member. To resolve the Java error, please reboot your PC then download a fresh Streamlabs Desktop installer from the Streamlabs web site. Then run the installer as administrator and at the end of the installer, don’t let it launch Streamlabs Desktop, rather just quit the installer and then reboot your PC again. Once your PC, is back up, launch Streamlabs Desktop as administrator.

Hello, when adding a new video capture device my Logitech Streamcam does not produce any video. I've "deactivated" and "activated" unplugged/re-plugged, and restarted my computer. You'll need to perform these when you not live.
👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.
Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

The alertbox sound source is not showing up in the main mixer, I have to pull up the advanced audio settings to change the volume of it. Is there a way to make it show up in the main mixer?

Hey, so I'm having a issue after I unplugged my el gato from my laptop for a week when I went out of town. So everything else works but it won't display video... I can change things in my elgato and it adjust stuff on my tv but it will not show on streamlabs. Hey guys! Sorry that this is long-winded. But I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere.
Wondering if anyone else has encountered similar issues, and how they fixed it. So, sometimes with older games Streamlabs display capture doesn't pick up the whole display at all. It only picks up a tiny window (the game's OG resolution), which when you tab out of the game, it reverts to picking up your entire display. Usually I get around this with a crop filtre, no biggy.
But I've encountered a new issue of display capture not actually capturing my windows display at all, but instead only capturing one of the game's run windows that's completely black (and sandwiched in the middle) when I tab into it. Game capture won't work at all with this particular file as it causes all of the capture and game to lag like a slideshow.
Is there any way to make it actually capture my entire window? I'm at my wit's end

Your bitrate is probably too high. The bitrate maximum for Twitch is 6000. Anything higher will result in what you experienced.
No, Streamlabs Desktop and all of the widgets are completely free. Streamlabs Console though is a subscription service.

I have changed the monitoring from off to both monitor only (mute off) and monitor input and output but neither works
