That’s a twitch setting. That isn’t done inside streamlabs at all.
I do not know. I would suggest digging around in your creator dashboard on Twitch. I believe it’s there somewhere.

Hi , I a have a setup with my Xbox ,my dell laptop, and my microphone is connected to an audio interface, which is connected to the computer. Everything is set up on Streamlabs, but I see that my game audio doesn’t work. I have a 4K capture card because I can’t afford an Elegato capture card. When I unplug my headset off my controller and plug it into the 4K capture card. The audio pops up, but I can’t talk to friends without my headphones. I even try to connect another headset to the capture card but the audio still doesn’t pop up.

Yes. When you logged back in, that re-establishes the connection. You Mini Feed shouldn't be blank. So let's double check things. Please go here https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections and scroll down to the bottom and tell me how long Streamlabs has been connected; it will be under Other Connections.

anyone having issues with chatbot in twitch chat? It's not responding to commands. I've shut it off and on again twice now.
My cloudbot is not working and it appears others are having an issue. Anyone know of a global ticket/case on this?
Generate new tokens for your streamer, bot, and Streamlabs account. Also make sure that the bot account is a moderator on your streamer account. And make sure you've updated to the .78 version.
I'm not aware of any issue with Cloudbot currently. Let me check with the staff.

I have 3 monitors I was just doing my thing on the computer and from one to the other moment my screen shuts off one by one. after rebooting the system only my left screen works. than i try to reboot again now the middelscreen only stays on. windows doesnt see the monitors as well what can i do?

My streamlabs alerts and Recent events are working absolutely fine however my youtube data isn't synced in last 3 months. I was offline for couple of months and started streaming now. Got 3-4 subscribers in youtube however the data is not visible in Streamlabs Recent events. I am planning to buy Ultra for multistreaming however this issue is boggling me. Kindly help
This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.
By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.
The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

everytime ive used ultra to multistream it has been extremely laggy on all platforms but when i stream to one platform the quality is fine, is their a fix to this because i thought that streamlabs multistreaming didnt take any extra resources?

Recommended bitrate values versus used resolution and FPS.
- For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
- For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
- For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
- For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
- For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.
<Note: These values are based for single-pc streaming setup, using x264 veryfast preset>
Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.
If you get pixelations on your stream, this would mean there is insufficient bitrate to properly encode the stream for the given content.```

is there a way to prevent desktop audio from being heard through my USB microphone? I'm trying to comment on video while recording my voice but the recording is echoing because the mic is pickung up the audio coming through my speakers. For sources I have Audio Output capture for desktop sound and Audio Input capture for my Microphone.

Seeing as the liveu solo connect is simply a network device to make sure you have a network connection, you simply set up your alerts as you normally would.

Setting -> Output, uncheck Enforce service encoder settings.

Depends if you changed your Output Resolution or not.
Your video settings indicate that your output to twitch is 1280x720, which is a lower resolution than 1920x1080. To change that you would need to stop your stream and change the output (scaled) resolution settings.
Have you added your microphone as an audio device?

{1} Click your Start Menu in Windows and type "Change system sounds" and hit enter. Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

Make sure that your desktop audio device is the same as the device that your game audio is heard on.

Open streamlabs desktop settings, then click Audio on the left side. Make sure that your desktop audio is the same device as where your game audio is heard.

Computers have inputs and outputs. Inputs are microphones, devices that allow sound to be heard by the computer. An output is a device that plays sound back from the computer like speakers or headphones. The desktop audio device is the device that is playing sounds that you listen to.
The mic/aux device should be your microphone.

Hi guys! I'm trying to stream Honkai Star Rail (to YouTube), but whenever I start stream, I get disconnected from the game. My upload speed is 60 mb/s. This doesn't happen with other games. Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas?
I've tried window capture, game capture, and display capture and that made no difference. Also tried decreasing canvas resolution and switching to perfoemance instead of quality.

hello friends! i have an issue with my streamlabs bot (using the webpage dashboard, not the app)
I use the !hug command (/me hugs {target.name}), but in Twitch chat it doesn't show who initiates the command. It responds with this: "Streamlabs hugs target" instead of "Streamlabs: Jovani hugs target". Target name shows properly, but not the one making the command.
Disabled/enabled cloudbot, logged out/in from Streamlabs dashboard (webpage), removed/added Streamlabs as a mod on twitch, nothing worked =/

Hey folks, I am hoping someone might be able to help me out with 2 problems I have been having on Streamlabs in the last week.
Suddenly, when I load the application some of my overlays are getting mixed up. Its pulling graphics/resources from one overlay and overwriting them onto other overlays they are not a part of. I am not sure if there is an issue with the cloud save or what, but I am having to rebuild parts of each of my overlays every time I boot the software.
Secondly, has anyone had an issue with cloudbot turning itself off for no reason?

For your overlay issue, I would create a new Scene Collection and then build your scenes and sources from scratch. Sounds like that current scene collection might have a corrupted scene or source.
For Cloudbot, please clear the cache in your web browser and make sure that streamlabs is a mod on your channel and that it has not been banned or muted.
So, go through and 1:1 remake all the collections and get rid of the older ones.
I can certainly give that a try. Will probably take me a couple days as there are 7 different collections.
For Cloudbot, I have tried clearing my cache and it is definitely a mod that has not been banned or muted. When it's turned on its working perfectly, it just randomly decides it doesn't want to be on anymore.

There is not an integrated goal bar for that. I did check to see if the organization you were fundraising for was listed in streamlabs charity and unfortunately it is not. You will unfortunately need to use their overlays and alert widgets for your campaign.

Yellow border is apart of Windows 10 capture hook, you can try using DXDGI for capture method within the Window source capture settings.

My streamlabs is having trouble linking to my Twitter. When the pop up appears to link my Twitter, I enter my info then it takes me to a google sign in. I sign into my Twitter account through google and it loads up my Twitter account, but it never links it to streamlabs.

Because of the way MacOS is designed, Game Capture is not available in Streamlabs Desktop on MacOS.

Hello. My stream was pixelated earlier. No lag spikes, just a quality issue even on 1080p. I haven't altered any settings for this to start happening.

When I was trying to get my game capture to work on my mac I tried out the screen capture as a source and that worked just fine for me so it is possible to do. What are you having troubles with?
basically just screen capture source. it only shows my primary monitor, i can click on the options and windows it's giving me but nothing changes, and it just shows my entire primary monitor. display captures work just fine, but screen capture specifically just doesn't do anything

What is it exactly you're wanting to capture? There might be a workaround somewhere. Window capture works for me for other windows. You can create multiple and switch through them that way. It's more of a hassle, but it works

How to remove Black Bars from your stream
- In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
- In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
- In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)
If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.
- You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

So full-screen overlay may not function… Game overlay works best in borderless window mode. As this is an experimental feature we are actively working to improve it over time.

So you’re referring to the delay caused by the time it takes to transmit your stream to the platform, the time it takes to process your stream at the platform’s servers, and then the time to retransmit your stream to the viewers which is impacted by their internet connection?

I believe that is the correct behavior. The cloudbot on the other hand does update when offline

That is how it will always be. That is the required time for network traffic to traverse the internet, be processed by the server, and then retransmitted to a viewer. There is absolutely nothing you can do about that because you are not sitting in a Twitch or YouTube datacenter on the same network switch in the rack as the ingest server.

Recording quality is blurry and low res and the forums aren't helping.
That's due to the way iOS is designed. Apple doesn't allow application to overlay when capturing the screen. The widgets are only available when using the cameras with iOS.
I’m not a developer but I know little bit that iOS is designed different but there are some apps with this overlay function but they are paid or with watermark.

👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.
Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

hey all, I've got a question. I set up a custom local currency for my channel, but I have to add viewers manually, otherwise they can't gain currency and don't show up on the list. - For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
- For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
- For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
- For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
- For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.
<Note: These values are based for single-pc streaming setup, using x264 veryfast preset>
Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.
If you get pixelations on your stream, this would mean there is insufficient bitrate to properly encode the stream for the given content.```

So if you’re capturing a smaller window and scaling it to fit the canvas, it will distort because you’re stretching the pixels to fit a higher resolution. The best option would be to have an overlay that has a “window” for the captured window to fit within so you don’t have to scale it up

If you’re having an issue with obs, I recommend using the OBS discord for support. If you’re having an issue with your alerts and streamlabs services such as streamlabs desktop, we can assist with that here.
I did search the OBS discord and the most recent log file you posted was 2 months ago with an outdated version of OBS studio being logged. I’d suggest downloading the latest obs or making sure yours is updated to 29.0.2 and then reaching out to OBS support.

In the dashboard towards the top right should be a “launch overlay” button or something like that, otherwise click the copy button, open a new browser window and paste the URL in the address bar

so basically im facing this wierd problem with streamlabs obs ..
As i am using NDI Webcam along with my smartphone as you see in the images below to be my main Webcam in SLOBS .. The NDI utility is displaying the image correctly, but when i load it as a camera input device i get an inverted color image in SLOBS !
and just to add, im using another smartphone that is Samsung Note 5 .. its working correctly and displayed correctly on SLOBS
the issue is with this specific smartphone , motorolla, its the only one that SLOBS is reading it as an inverted image
So when you use this Motorola device via NDI, the color it sends is inverted but with a different device it isn't? I'd reboot the Motorola phone and try it again if you haven't already tried that. Hey! I'm a mod for a streamer and we've noticed that there's an issue with her follow alerts, specifically. I read in the #known-issues channel that this issue was mentioned and supposedly resolved. I just wanna double-check, what's mentioned here (see screenshot), are they talking about follower alerts not showing up on stream and also not in the streamlabs feed, while other alerts do work?
Yes, that issue only affected Follow alerts.

Anyone able to help me out? My webcam hasn't been working on stream labs for quite sometime and it's taken numerous restarts for it to show up. When I try to get to the setting of my video capture device I'm just met with the tab loading and basically freezing the entire software
Make sure you're running Streamlabs Desktop as administrator and that you don't have any other software attempting to access the camera.

Please go here https://streamlabs.com/ and download a fresh installer of Streamlabs Desktop. Then quit Streamlabs Desktop and run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation. You won't lose any data. Once the installation is done, let me know if that resolved the problem or not?

Can you remove all of your video capture devices from your computer (i.e. any webcams or capture cards for example) > close Streamlabs Desktop > restart your computer > re-open Streamlabs Desktop as admin > re-plug in any of the devices you unplugged previously > and test to see if it's still doing the same?
I'm fairly certain it's nothing to do with the actual camera
So what is Desktop Audio in the Mixer? It should be showing the device you selected in Settings -> Audio.

I was having a weird issue earlier today, where my video capture would freeze except for a small rectangle in the bottom left which continued to function properly. The only way I could find to fix it was to delete the capture source and re-create it. Any ideas on what would cause this and how best to avoid it happening again?

Hello, I'm trying to set a youtube susbscriber alert but it doesn't work, I don't know why
I'd scroll down to the Recording section and make sure you have all 6 tracks enabled.

I configured everything, I put the gif , the text and I put it as alert box in streamlabs, and it doesn't work. I even set it up with the web page
Switch the Output Mode to Advanced then screen shot the Recording tab settings.
This is due to a privacy setting on YouTube and cannot be 'fixed' inside Streamlabs.
By default, YouTube accounts have their subscriptions set to Private. This means if a someone subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs can't detect that subscription and thus won't alert you.
The subscriber (the person watching your live stream), would need to make the subscriptions Public before subscribing to your channel in order for Streamlabs to detect the event and alert you.

Then like I said above, it is probably due to their account privacy selection. If they keep their subscriptions private, Streamlabs cannot detect when they subscribe to your channel and thus there will be no alert and the Mini Feed will not update. This is a setting on YouTube and we can't control it.
Then definitely put in a ticket at the link I gave you earlier then. The team would need to investigate this further with you.

Okay, I don't see why the stream isn't hearing the Desktop Audio and I don't see where you're excluding any source from the Twitch VOD.
So I would do this:
Go to Settings -> Output -> Streaming and uncheck the Twitch VOD option and also uncheck the Enforce streaming service settings options
Then switch the Output Mode back to Simple and click Done to save your Settings and then restart Streamlabs Desktop.

That's also affected by that Privacy Setting on YouTube. 😉
You'd have have to end your goal, change the settings, and then start it again.

This is a normal behavior due to how the games are captured. The process has to launch and register that it’s running before the streaming software can detect and capture it

When you are monitoring your stream via web browser, a delay is normal due to the time it takes for your computer to process the video encoding, transmit the data to the ingest servers, the server to process the video, the server to rebroadcast the video, and the viewer to receive the stream

It will not be “instant” unless you’re sitting in the datacenter connected to the same network switch as the ingest server

I would suggest lowering your output resolution and bitrate to match.

Is it that you can’t hear it or that it isn’t being heard on stream? It appears that the audio meter is moving, which would indicate it is playing. I’d recommend verifying your audio input and output devices are set correctly in their properties settings.

Which is the recommended bitrate for 1080p60. If you’re seeing a delay I would recommend 720p60

thank you. I've checked privacy and mic, audio and screen permissions have been granted. I've also restarted the application. I changed the source to screen capture and I can see the capture in the preview but still nothing in the actual Display Window after I've added it

Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. You would need to log into the Streamlabs Console site, click your PFP in the upper right, choose Account Settings, then scroll down and choose either the Monthly or Annual plan.
Streamlabs Console is also included in our Streamlabs Ultra subscription. If you're using Streamlabs Console this way, please make sure you set up your Streamlabs ID then log into the Streamlabs Console with your Streamlabs ID rather than your Twitch.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream
- In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
- In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
- In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)
If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.
- You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

Make sure you channels at Settings -> Audio are set to Stereo and that in the Advance pd Audio Settings that the Downmix to mono option isn’t selected for your Microphone device.

👉 NOTE This will not go back and capture any events that were missed. You'll need a new event (new follow on Twitch, new subscriber on YouTube, etc) as verification. I can follow on Twitch or subscribe on YouTube for verification if you like.
Also note the guide has sections for the 4 platforms we have full integration with, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Trovo. So only follow the section for the platform you're using.

Hi Everyone! I'm trying to go live in youtube, but if I use the default server options on the stream tab, streamlabs desktop will create a new live event on youtube. So, if I want to go live in a Pre created or scheduled event, I must set up custom server url and stream key (those that the youtube event I scheduled shows)
Finally this is my concern, if I set custom server url and key, the live chat disapear from the sl desktop ui. Is that an normal behavior?
How are you all going libe to youtube? (Default server url and key or custom ones)

If you click the Schedule button (see the arrow), you can go live to your event without having to use the custom destination.
Are you pasting it into the Managing Moderator or as a Standard Moderator. You should from what I can see in the screen shot from your OP, you're adding Streamlabs as a managing moderator and that won't work with Cloudbot. Please set it as a standard moderator.
I can't test this right now but if you go into Studio Mode in Streamlabs Desktop, there should be a balance fader in the Advanced Audio Settings. Check and make sure its balanced in the middle and not to the left.
Hello I have a problem my last follow with the label widget no longer updates and does not display the latest, I tried to disconnect and reconnect but nothing has changed I installed the "streamlabels " but nothing has changed either the last follow is not showing either

@golden fiber I was wrong. Please make sure Downmix to mono is enabled in the Advanced Audio Settings for your microphone. Let me know if that resolves the issue.
