I don’t see them on all alerts
How does one change the name that's listed in the top left side of the donation page? As much as I love my users I don't want it to display my legal name

I have also been having a lot of issue with alerts today.
Can i get a update on the discord bot integration is it back up and running yet ?
I keep changing the alerts look and sounds on streamlabs webpage ( while under the correct profile.) They will work for a few runs/test but then will revert to previous look/sound. I am unable to get them to keep the updated versions longer than 10-15 min. I have tried updating via the streamlabs obs alertbox widget as well as updating via the streamlabs webpage. I have logged out/in multiple times on both as well as cleared caches. Not sure what exactly I'm missing. This isn't the first time I've changed how my alerts look and sound, but it is the first time they have kept reverting

Strange. I just test alerts on my MacBook Air with Firefox and I can see and hear my alerts. Let's take a dive into your Donation alerts and perhaps we can figure out the issue.
Please go to the Streamlabs Alert Box page for Donation alerts https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox#donations and screen shot the whole settings page. Be sure to open the Alert Variation section at the bottom before grabbing a screen shot.
Can you check if you have any variations configured for your alerts?
Make sure that your subscribers have their privacy settings configured correctly:
If the person who is subscribing has their privacy settings enabled to not share their subs, then unfortunately no alert/notification will show on our end due to API limitations
YouTube now has a delay for subscriber alerts, which can take up to 4 hours. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this at this time.

tried looking this up but couldn't see a solution. Having an issue where I record a game and after about 20 minutes, the preview window is frozen and when i try to hit stop recording, it just buffers until i close down streamlabs and the recording never saves. Any thoughts?

When you say “stream labels” where is that at? (Sorry, new volunteer support person)
Stream labels is one of the the softwares that lets you track activity and show things like most recent follower/subscriber on your stream overlay
Follows always show up here too but they aren't today

I think if the follows get fixed it'll fix here too, there's nothing really wrong with the labels software.

I don't think I've ever set up the streamlabs bot, but the notifications I'm talking about are the on-stream animation ones

right. I went to your channel to verify I didn't miss something, and when I was there I saw that SoundAlerts notified me via chat about the follow, not Streamlabs. Which was curious.

Can you elaborate a tiny bit? Are you saying that your phone is streaming and working fine, but your PC has no internet access? or that your PC is streaming but won't go anywhere on the internet?

Hi, is there compatibility with streamlabs console with streamlabs ultra?
Also, I’m having issues with linking my console subscription with the live streaming on Xbox. It comes up with this error when doing it via the Xbox - “you need to link a subscription to your account to use the selected broadcast destination”. I 100% have a subscription

I think this fits here, I just tried streaming on clip studio through streamlabs yesterday but when I started shading it lagged like crazy. Could it be my internet?
Yeah, tried everything but even on the stream labs website it's only showing follows from 2 months but on twitch I have more recent ones. So don't think it's the desktop app that has the issue

Make sure your bitrate is 6000 or less. 6000 is the limit if you are not an Affiliate or Partner. Partners are allowed up to 8000.

hello im having issues streaming an constantly getting 80% frame drop when i open a game. its all optimised though. i have a 3080 and i7-11700k with 45mbps of download speed and 10mbps upload. ive tried streaming with a bitrate of 3000, 60fps, and 720p but still huge frame drop! Dropped Frames indicate a network issues, either locally or between you and the ingest for the platform.

Right click on the source, choose Filters, then Edit Filters, then finally Add Filter.
Then scroll through the list.

The latest version of Streamlabs Desktop should be on the top left of the application window. The latest version is 1.12.5. If you're not on that version, please download a fresh installer from the Streamlabs web site and run the installer as administrator and let the installer install over you're existing installation. No need to uninstall and you won't lose and data.

For example, if I duplicate text or change the location of an element in the preview and press CTRL+Z, nothing happens. I really have the impression that all my shortcuts are disabled, even though they work properly outside Streamlabs.

For the moment, as you can see: none. At the moment I'm just trying to use the usual shortcuts that are functional on all software, like copy/paste or return.

Yes. Streamlabs Desktop has support for the usual stuff, like copy and paste. They are mainly used to manipulate scenes and sources so I'd avoid assigning those keystrokes (Control-C, Control-V, etc.)
I just tried this and it works. I really don't understand why normal shortcuts doesn't work...
It depends on where you are trying to use them. Like for example, you can copy a source using Control-C, then move to a different scene, and paste it using Control-V.
I confirm that I can copy/paste a source. Is it normal not to be able to undo moving a source (for example a text) with CTRL+Z?

Heyas:) If I might trouble someone to help, I'm having an audio problem. I was offline for 7 mos - returned to find that I could only transmit via mic when live. No game sounds etc - yet my Alerts will play. I tried to fix it.... now my Mic isn't working either. Also, I upgraded to Win 11 during my absence.
Undo show undo moving a source. I just moved my Alert Box source and with a right click, I see Undo would undo the move.
In Streamlabs Desktop, please go to Settings -> Audio and specifically set your Desktop Audio and Microphone devices, especially if they show as a long string of characters or if it says Default.

Hello, I'm currently preparing a software using the streamlabs API. For that i need to fetch the donations a streamer receive. But here the trick, if the streamer participate in a StreamLabs Charity Events, does the GET endpoints for the donations fetch the donations made with the streamlabs charity link of the streamer? (Sorry if it's not the right channels, i didn't find the ones for technical issues related to the API)
You might have the Stream Preview window instead of the Editor Display. Go into the Layout Editor to check. If you see the Stream Preview, drag it over to the list on the left then put in its place the Editor Display then click Save Settings.
That sounds okay. And the stream only hears your Microphone?

What capture method are you using?
I already tried them all, all 4 presented. Also an update - game capture refuses to capture anything at all, not just elden ring.

Concerning the positioning of my elements and the magnetism, it works. I discovered this way to position my elements precisely and it is the most important for me.

Okay try out the following steps:
First, please delete your game capture and close Streamlabs Desktop.
Then go to the search in windows (🔎) and search this file path: C:\ProgramData\obs-studio-hook and then click on the folder that pops up.
Once you have done that you will see a bunch of files. If you can ignore those for a second and click on the program data folder (link: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/918160373264306206/918162974265466911/unknown.png?width=960&height=538). Then you should see the obs-studio-hook folder there and highlighted. Go ahead and delete the folder.
Now go ahead restart your PC and then right click Streamlabs Desktop and run as administrator. Then add a new game capture and see if that works for you.

Looks okay, but I see in the Advanced Audio Settings screen shots you have a Speakers device and a Headset device. Are they the same or different? What is the source for the Headset?

Its probably a source. Do you have any audio capture sources (in the Source selector panel?
I'm not sure actually what the Remove option does in the Mixer to be honest. Never tried that.

Recordings you've made with Streamlabs Desktop or previous live streams?
For local recordings, unless you've changed the path, they should be saved in the Videos folder on your PC. You can verify that path by going to Settings -> Output -> Recording and looking at the Recording Path field.

You should not need that source but I don't know your setup or the intentions for that source. You can hide that source by hovering over it and clicking the eyeball icon. I would then try a stream and see how the audio performs.
Are you using Streamlabs Desktop or something else, like OBS Studio?

Please go to the Alert Box General Settings on the Streamlabs web site here https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox and make sure the option Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay is disabled. If that is option is enabled, then each alert has to be manually approved before its presented on stream.
Streamelements is a completely different company.
Ok I need some help with my stream. I stream and game on the same pc. Before today I was having no issues. I had a GPU driver update today. After the update I was steaming and now I’m getting notifications of lagged frames. I have the threshold at 5%. Any idea how I can take some of the usage off my GPU? I Already have my in game settling low.
Lagged frames are caused by a compositor overload, and common with high GPU usage.
Then I would set the monitor's refresh rate, the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop, and the FPS in the game to the same value to reduce the work load on your GPU. So set them all at 60 or 120. Also consider turning on V-Sync if the game supports that.

- Launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in
If that does not work, please go into your Windows Settings and change your default web browser to Microsoft Edge or Firefox (if you have it installed) and try again.

Hi friends, question if someone knows. How do I set up a command that tracks how many times that command was used on someone? For example, if it is !hug, I want the command to say "wominion has been hugged x times". I appreciate anyones assistance with this!

Cloudbot? Cloudbot doesn't have the capability to do that. Chatbot does track the number of times a command has been used but cannot track the number of times an argument is used. Does your hug command use an argument or does it just respond with text?

Bot responds randomperson has been hugged!
Viewer type !hug anotherandomeperson

Are you want to track how many times that the hug command itself is used or how many time each person has been hugged?
If they latter, Cloudbot can't do that.

Hopefully somebody can share some insight into my issue. I have a feeling it's ISP related but just want to be sure cause it's a hassle dealing with them.
Long story short, I was getting dropped frames that increased over time. Had a tech out and he changed the splitter outside. When I ran the Twitch Bandwidth Test, everything local came back roughly around 70-80s. Few hours later, 100s across the board. Now I just did two back to back. First set mostly came back mostly 50-60 with a 0 here or there. Second all 0s. This has to be ISP related, yes?

Hi, I have recently built a new PC (new everything) since then whenever I start streaming the game I am streaming crashes. The time it takes to crash is variable, sometimes 5 minutes - 2 hours. The only thing I have changed in my OBS settings since my new PC build is streaming in 1080p (up from 720p) and increased the bit rate to 6k.
I have tried everything here https://discord.com/channels/346751285514469388/1058938226083110974 but have had crashes since then. Is there anything else I can do to try to remedy this problem?

I have XMP enabled but I also had that going on my last PC. Outside of that no.

When I upgraded my PC to z690 I noticed by default it set a new XMP Profile, profile 1. This had tighter timings and other performance based settings from the board manufacturer and turned out to be unstable.
I have tried both profiles with the same outcome.
And something about gear 1 vs gear 2 but I can't remember at the moment. If you're on z690 or higher I would check this.

Yea, try googling gear 1 vs gear 2 z690. I can't remember the specifics, but it's a performance setting for ram and one can be unstable.

You might have to click on the + sign to see them.
Dropped Frames indicate a network issue. You mobile hotspot might not have a good connection to the internet.

Oh yea, mobile hotspot definitely not ideal for streaming. And it's less of a speed issue and more of a network latency issue, so even if your mobile network is fast you're going to have issues.

Ideally would be not to use a mobile hotpot. Can you use a data over cellular or now?

Asking to me? Even 720p 30 would be ok. I tried different bitrates and for some reason 4500 works better than 3000
Your ping seems to be your issue if your upload is consistently 10 Mbps.
Then in the Hotkeys Settings, you should see a section for that.

Ok, download the twitch server test application. Run several tests and find out which ingest server is your most consistent in speed, latency, and overall quality. Then use the advanced ingest server settings to specify that specific server. Try different bitrates and see if that makes things any better. If not, you're just going to have to work on getting a more viable ISP for streaming.
Okay, just a moment and let me check further on this. Now my sections for the audio devices are missing in my Hotkeys settings. Sigh.

Please run this twitch test tool to find out the best server (https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest). Be sure to run the test for either Medium or Long, as short won't give you the most accurate results and be sure to select your region from the listed options (if the regions are not applicable to you, please select 5-6 servers that are near you). You're looking for at least a quality of 84.
Once you've found a good server go to Settings > Stream > Stream to custom ingest and you can manually select your server.
Cause if it's the one where I had to insert a strem key or something I couldn't really understand how to use it

Well I added the Widget but that doesn’t fix my problem unfortunately. I can see chat with this but can’t scroll back and see what someone wrote. Also it doesn’t really look too good when the chat is too big in my IRL streams…
Back then I was also able to just enable the chat with no problem but something changed
Well, I guess you could add a Custom Layer and add the URL of your chat page if you like.

Hi, I've been trying to setup Media Share for my YouTube chat via Cloudbot, but when they send their request, or any link for that matter, it just gets auto removed?
Streamlabs Console is a subscription service. At the Streamlabs Console web site, be sure to go to your Account Settings, scroll to the bottom and select either the Monthly or Annual plan and then fill out your billing details. Streamlabs Console is included in Streamlabs Ultra.
Can you send a screen shot of this behavior? Need to see if its a YouTube or Cloudbot setting causing this?
I believe it's YouTube as the message doesn't reach Cloudbot at all
Whenever I try sending a message as someone who is not the streamer, or a moderator, the link gets auto removed, even though I have "block links" turned off in my settings
Probably then the Block Links setting in YouTube. Go to your YouTube Studio, Settings, Community.

Not using any other bots that I know of, and Spam Security is set to 2, I don't believe I changed anything on there

I will try that, but I doubt it'll do anything as this seems like a YouTube issue, as Streamlabs nor anyone else in the stream can see any message that includes a link unless it is sent by someone that has moderator/host privileges.

the request command only works if my host account uses it, or any of my moderators

That's definitely an issue with your ISP or mobile data provider (earlier you said you were using a mobile hot spot).

so when i have streamlabs open and im on the window it is greying out the webcams of people in discord. but when i hover over another window on my task bar the webcams show up and are no longer greyed out.

i have a 2560 x 1080 resolution monitor but twitch squishes it down to 1920 x 1080 would there be any way to fix this?

So you have an ultrawide monitor, which isn’t a standard resolution. Make sure your base canvas in streamlabs desktop is set to your monitor resolution. Then you can scale down your resolution to something for streaming. Note: because it is an ultrawide monitor there will be black bars if you’re capturing the native 21:9 resolution.

How to remove Black Bars from your stream
- In Windows Display Settings, you would need to make sure you have a 16:9 monitor resolution (Typically 1920x1080)
- In the game you're playing, you would want the render resolution to be 16:9 as well. (Basically matching info from above)
- In Streamlabs Desktop > Settings > Video > Base Resolution, that would also need to be 16:9 resolution (Same as above)
If any of those things are not being done, then your stream is not going to be true 16:9 and your game will have black bars.
- You can select the capture source in your sources list > right click it > transform > fit/stretch to screen, should help```

It won’t be a true streaming resolution because it isn’t a standard 16:9 monitor
It’s 1.5x wider than a standard widescreen monitor
So the output resolution will be a scaled down version of that. No matter what resolution you choose it’s going to have black bars when viewed on twitch/YouTube/etc
No matter what I do when I stream COD it’s extremely laggy I have a great gaming rig that runs every other game on max settings 160 FPS but for some reason cod on low settings lags my stream, any recommendations?

I'm trying to make something like an experience bar that will be incremented from subs, follows, donations etc.. All in the same bar. I manually coded a html / js that works, but I'm having trouble to listen to events like subs, follows, donations etc... ans trigger my desired functions.
To be honest, I checked dev.streamlabs and the entire idea of having to register my app etc.. seems a bit overwhelming, not sure I understand everything. Could anyone help me with that ?? That would be awesome 🙂

You never want to use more then 70% of the available upload just for the stream. Also if there is other people using the internet it may cause you to drop connection speed. Once you test it, tag me here with the answer. 🙂

Well with a 2mbps upload I dont see you being able to stream at all, that is why you dropping frames, the upload cannot keep up.

The only option here is for you to get a connection with more upload available. I would say that 10mbps would be more then enough.

Kick only supports 1920x1080 and lower. If your output resolution is higher than that you will need to change your output resolution appropriately.
Also before you go live on kick you need to set the title and game on the Kick dashboard and hit LIVE on the dashboard itself once you start streaming.

Make sure the audio source is not muted in the mixer on Streamlabs Desktop.

Some audio management software, like Nahimic 2, Sonic studio sound or motherboard audio software like Realtek HD Audio Manager or Sound Blaster Recon are known to cause issues. Try closing that kind of software, and also check Windows taskmanager if any processes with a similar name are running to be closed. If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

If you are using the elgato cable to capture sound, on your elgato utility you need to change the audio output from the HDMI to analog.
yes I did in 4k capture utility. but in streamlabs I dont get that option for some reason
on streamlabs the best way to set up the audio from that capture card is to set an audio capture separate.

I'm trying to make something like an experience bar that will be incremented from subs, follows, donations etc.. All in the same bar. I manually coded a html / js that works, but I'm having trouble to listen to events like subs, follows, donations etc... ans trigger my desired functions.
To be honest, I checked dev.streamlabs and the entire idea of having to register my app etc.. seems a bit overwhelming, not sure I understand everything. Could anyone help me with that ?? That would be awesome

Hey there, so I've uninstalled and reinstalled streamlabs and I've also allowed the app though my firewalls, I've remade the CrashMemoryDump folder, and still the client wont open, everytime I check and have it run as an administraor it does not appear on my task manger. I'm stuck. I have also updated my drivers and resintalled the windows C++ 64 and 32 bit On the status check it says "Suspended" So Im not sure how to alter that

Make sure you are not on studio mode once again.
And if none of it works, try to just create a brand new Scene instead of the premade one you are using now.

Dual Monitor?
There are two ways that affects things. The stream preview generally uses some CPU and since most people play Fortnite on High FPS/Low Settings the game is CPU Bound. The second thing is most people use two monitors when streaming, and in most cases they are different refresh rates. Windows does a poor job of syncing media on multiple monitors if the monitors are separate refresh rates, so it can cause micro stuttering which will affect your Input Latency.

Hello guys! Just downloaded Streamlabs Desktop to stream on Twitch. When setting up the Encoder, I only see two options, "Software (x264)" and "NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new)" . Isn't there supposed to be two NVENC options for newer and older GPUs?

Older GPU instructions within the new encoder still exist. It basically checks for new hardware and if it doesn’t find it will use normal nvenc instead of Tensor cores

Yes. It’s one of those changes that came with the obs 28 merge. Obs 28 removed the dual nvenc options to avoid confusion, and merged the two into a single nvenc encoder option.

Regarding this, I had a tech come out and testing everything changing out a cable. That made everything work better but it’s all still inconsistent. I don’t know what else I can do or what else could be the issue. Any ideas anyone?
If you're using wired Ethernet locally, try swapping out the Ethernet cable. And double check the speed of your Ethernet connection. I've noticed that occasionally my built in ethernet that in spite of being capable of and having a Gigabit connection, will negotiate down to some absurdly slow speed. Also try a different port on your cable modem. If you're using anything else in the background that uses the network that you don't absolutely need for streaming, make sure those are not running.
I changed out the Ethernet cable but haven’t swapped ports. Might have to give that a go. As for things running in the background, I don’t have anything running at the moment. At least not while running the tests and such. Im honestly starting to wonder if it’s the modem itself. I looked at the logs on my router and saw a lot of issues but they were all prior to the cable change from the wall to the modem.
I had weird upload issues for a while until a Spectrum tech told me that their modem often will internally reset the wired ports when it scans the wireless bands for SSID's. Well, that is ridiculous. So I went and got my own cable modem/router combo and that issue cleared up. Not saying that could be your issue though, just my personal experience with my ISP at the time.

Scenes and Sources, yes. Once you have the new PC, just download and install Streamlabs Desktop and then log in with the same account you use today. Now other settings like Base and Output Resolution, Encoder, Bitrate, Filters, etc, are not saved in the cloud; local only. So I'd screen shot those settings (click the Gear ⚙️ icon) so you have them.

Is your Output Resolution the same as your Base Resolution? If it is, you might consider dropping down to the next lower resolution and see if that helps. Also set the game to run in that resolution.

Clearing the cache in your web browser usually resolves this. Sometimes you have to clear cookies as well but that can cause you to have to log back in or lose some custom settings for some web sites so be aware of this if you clear cookies.

Having issues with Streamlabs Desktop not capturing and just getting a black screen?
- After you've added your capture source, the "game" may require to be focused before it will be captured in Streamlabs Desktop.
- This means you will want to start interacting with the "game" for about 5-20 seconds before it will be detected.
- Also try running Streamlabs Desktop as admin and if using Game Capture, try using the "Capture Specific Window" option.
Note: Some games will simply not work with Game Capture and will require the use of Window Capture or Display Capture.

Hi, I am having an issue where I have alertbox setup and it works like 99% of the time. Randomly, my follower notification stopped working so i made a new link for the source and tried to add it. I deleted the old source on OBS and now I hear double alertbox sounds. Not sure what to do.

Cloudbot has this variable, {randchatter.name}, but it will only give you one random name of reach time you invoke the command. So even if you put that three times in the response, all three will be the same name.
Setting both monitors to 120hz should resolve this. When running dual monitors, keeping them both at multiples of 60 is the recommended best practice

If this doesn't work, try going in to your Windows Playback Devices in your Windows Audio Settings, right click on the sound device you are using and click on Properties, then go to the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box that says "Give exclusive mode applications priority" and that should resolve it.

Select manually the desktop audio device (audio settings), you use as default device in Windows Sound, not setting it to default. Alternatively you can set it to disabled and add in the scene you want desktop audio an Audio Output Capture and select the device that is set as default device in Windows Sound.

As a last resort, you can temporarily use an alternative program to capture audio like VoiceMeeter Banana. This program allows you to set it as the default device, and then use a virtual audio cable into Streamlabs Desktop to capture the desktop audio. Hi! I am 100% brand new to streamlabs. I used OBS on my computer to conduct interviews, but I'm going to try to livestream from a remote location on my Pixel . I downloaded streamlabs for Android and also purchased a DJI mic. However, Streamlabs doesn't seem to recognize the mic (it's plugged into the USB-C port). Does anyone know if this is possible?

Streamlabs no longer is showing gameplay since I was trying to figure out my audio issue. I deleted my working NDI source scene and since trying to readd it it no longer picks up gameplay. I have fresh installed OBS link and Streamlabs and Tested it in OBS and Elgato Software. works on both of those. not streamlabs

Ok, it is only when I am in a discord chat with people. They are the only ones that echo on stream. My own audio and my microphone are not echoing on stream.\

I am streaming live on twitch. I am in a discord voice chat. My voice is not echoing on the twitch stream. The game sound is not echoing on the twitch stream. When my friends are speaking in the discord chat, their voice is echoing on the twitch stream.

Click the Playback tab and/or Recording tab and right-click your microphone/headphones and click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab and uncheck the box for Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. You should also do this for your microphone/headphones under the respective tab.

Okay let's try this: 1) Disable everything in Settings under Audio so that it's not outputting anything to the scene.
2) Manually add audio output capture to your scene using your Soundblaster device. Leave the settings set to default once added.
If that works, then let's add your Audio Input Capture as your microphone you are using (assuming Razer Sieren?)

As soon as i will turn b-frames on, even on 1 its skipping frames, while before 23.4.1 graphics card drivers i had 4 and it was running smooth, my streams seems blurry too, before it was looking nicer. On b-frames 0 its smooth but blurry

You can stream on twitch with up to 8500 bitrate stable, on 6000 its a mess

If you’re having issues at 6000 then you need to lower your output resolution to something your gpu can encode
Majority of viewers aren’t watching full screen on a 1080p screen anyways, so trying to output the highest resolution stream isn’t necessary. A 720p60 stream with great quality is always going to be better than a 1080p60 stream that looks like 💩

Because hardware varies across almost every PC build. Settings that work for one person don’t work for others. It’s why watching a YouTube video that says “best settings for obs” or “best settings for streamlabs” is a bad idea because their hardware can handle it, and their experience doesn’t apply to 90% of people.
The recommended bitrates that platforms post on their support pages are recommended because they test across a wide variety of hardware and software and validate those settings.
The best advice is to find an output resolution that gives you good quality at a good frame rate and doesn’t hurt your gaming performance or stream performance. I’ve done a 540p60 stream on a 1.5Mb upload network that had the quality of a 1080p because I could encode at the best encode, but using the lower upload. It’s all about making sacrifices for quality unless you have dedicated hardware encoders, which outside of media broadcasts aren’t generally affordable for most streamers
Do you know anything about b-frames not working? I saw some news on reddit that there is new encoder for AMD radeon coming but its not yet supported on twitch and streamlabs

So AV1 is available on YouTube, but not twitch yet. When it hits twitch, it’s gonna be amazing. I haven’t heard anything about b-frames being broken on AMD. I can check the obs discord, but I highly doubt it’s b-frames being broken….

Second link is basically a thing that happened to me, on older drivers ive been using b-frames on 4 with no issues and stream looked better, on new drivers b-frames causes loosing frames and its basically not working

I tried to record on mine on 50Mbs, no problems at all, smooth and crispy
Recording is different than streaming
Recording is fine because modern sata drives can read/write fast enough
But on recording b-frames not working at all too, im using the option "use same encoder settings for recording and streaming" or something like this and test it this way
Set them to 0 and test it.
Also make sure OBS is configured to run as administrator when launched
I did stream on 0 for last weeks due to drivers update, i had to, any other option than 0 makes stream loose about 50% frames and its broken, both recording and streaming

Outside of bitrate, I’m not seeing a lot of issues with your encoder settings. If the driver is causing the issue, revert to an older known-working driver and verify that it works.
Also save the installer so you don’t have to find it if a newer driver breaks things
I had those settings before and it was running perfectly well, i did not change anything. I just updated my graphics card drivers and when i turned on stream it was laggy and impossible to watch, i figured out turning b-frames to 0 helped but decreased quality, so i did that and didnt change nothing else
