Click the Live Actions tab. Scroll all the way to the bottom. Its at the bottom.
Will that also fix the end credits not picking up anything?
I'm not ware of any current issue with the End Credits widget. Reloading your widgets via this button should resolve the issue with not detecting follower alerts.
@winter peak I reset your alert box on my end and just tested with a follow myself, and it appears to be working properly for you now.

That's possible. I would re-enable them and see how the End Credits look on your next stream.
not really sure I want to go throught he trouble of switching my alerts back at this point. I may look for other options

Do you mean the yellow border?
The yellow border, that would appear if you are window capturing/screen capturing. That comes from Windows, not Streamlabs Desktop, and unfortunately could not be removed. I'm sorry about that.
The yellow border won't appear for game capture or display capture, though

What version is streamlabs on?
The current version of Streamlabs Desktop is 1.12.5.
That rules out one thing. I was having huge buffering issues earlier in my stream every 2 minutes on the dot.
If there anyway except through the streamlabs dashboard to intergrate my discord to streamlabs.
Because it's not working through the dashboard

Thank you for confirming that. Please log out of the Streamlabs web site; click your PFP in the upper right and select Logout. Then clear the cache in your web browser and quit the web browser.
Next logout of Discord and quit Discord.
Then launch Discord and log back in there.
The launch your web browser, navigate to the Streamlabs web site, and log in.
Then try the discord integration again.

Hey. Yes it does but to view the chats from youtube and kick at the same time you would need to go to the multi-streaming chat.

actually seems like it's a problem with the dashboard as I can't even add the streamlabs bot to my server without it showing the exact same message. I was just trying to access the extra channels to get help due to an issue I had with being constantly disconnected from my stream earlier today.
shouldn't have too much difference in strain. I streamed on both youtube and twitch and it ran more smoothly than when I streamed on just youtube.

The Multi Stream Chat does not support Kick at the moment. Only the ones you can link to your Streamlabs account.

Yes the multistream does not affect your machine, it is just like you streaming to 1 single place.
I'm having constant issues with lag and it's costing me more and more to fix. I have 516Mpbs wifi that is connected with ethernet and a mid-ranged PC with an RTX 3060 and I5-10400F.
You want to avoid WiFi while streaming.

I honestly have no idea why I am having so many issues with streaming when I have a decent PC and fast internet.

I’m going to go ahead and say that the 3060 in combination with your 10th gen Intel cpu are bottlenecking with your current settings, which is why you’re experiencing issues.
So I would probably need to get another CPU that doesn't bottleneck my 3060
Well he is using Nvenc! That said the GPU is doing all the work.

Depends if he has 100000 sources on it.
When gaming, the CPU does a lot of heavy lifting, and the gpu is also doing heavy lifting, especially when RTX and DLSS is on because it’s using the tensor cores which are also used for encoding.
Try to stream and open your task manager on the side and see if any 100% there, CPU, GPU or even RAM.

You’d be surprised.
Roblox probably isn’t going to max out a GPU like escape from tarkov, but it may max the CPU.

So for 1080p60 the recommended bitrate is 4500 and assuming your card can handle it, maybe 5000 or 6000. Have you tried lowering your bitrate to somewhere within 4500-6000 and checked?
It's currently at 10K and after I changed one setting it's okay
but then again I'm not really on a game that has disneyland recreated
Above 6000 for 1080p it’s not necessary. The reason 4K streaming requires high bitrate is because of the data size of a 4K streams.
But 1080p is fine between 4500 and 6000
You’ll probably never hit the 10000 bitrate at 1080p
Also random question: are your encoder settings set to simple or advanced?

It’s usually enabled by default but for some reason can have a significant impact on not only streams but also game frame rates
Explain the lag in roblox I was getting. I was streaming Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice without any issues only a few days ago so I was really confused when roblox started being an issue.
Yeah it’s goofy why it’s enabled, because even the obs devs recommend turning it off if you’re seeing a performance hit

Lower the bitrate to about 6000
but that isn't really noticeable
Maybe 7000?
I find 1080p the 6500 is the sweet spot
Kind of experiment with bitrate to see where it stops dropping frames and then that’s your sweet spot
Just realised I could private the live so my servers dont get pinged each time I'm doing a test XD

For example there is a Stream perk A and Stream perk B and users can chip-in for either option until certain mount is reached.

Thank you for your answers. Perhaps I couldn't explain myself. So I am using Streamlabs Cloudbot with streams on Youtube. Twitch has a Challenge system, where users can pool-in their loyalty points for a Stream perk. I am asking how can I make a similar thing using Streamlabs Cloudbot loyalty points?
I can create Loyalty Store items, no problem. I am asking specifically for pool-in, or chipping-in for multiple users to get an item.
Whoever was just in here, I added ultra if you could write in #vip-support or #ultra-support
There isn’t a way to use a common “pool” of points, but users can give points to other users for a common purpose. Since they’re specific to your channel, they can’t take points given in your channel and spend them somewhere else. I believe the syntax for the give command is !give <points> <username>

I did it opens discord in a browser with less channels than this
Did you go here and perform the integration? https://streamlabs.com/dashboard/#/settings/integrations Once you complete that, you'll get the Ultra role and then can access the Ultra Support channel.

If you're still not receiving Follow alerts, please try reloading your widgets:

You'll need to wait for a new follow to confirm and note that this will not go back and capture and events that were missed.

@clever beacon If it shows as an audio device on your computer you should be able to add it as an audio source in StreamLabs Desktop.

I would first reboot your PC to ensure there are no 'stuck' Streamlabs Desktop processes on your system.
Then download a fresh installer here https://streamlabs.com/streamlabs-desktop/download?sdb=1. Then run the installer as administrator and let it install over your existing installation of Streamlabs Desktop. Once the installer is done, don't let it launch Streamlabs Desktop; just exit the installer then reboot your PC.
Once your PC is back up then try launching Streamlabs Desktop again. Let it just sit an run for a few minutes then quit it. After a few minutes, try and launch it again.
You won't lose any data or settings during the reinstallation.

This is not possible with Cloudbot but it is possible with Streamlabs Chatbot when used along with the OBS Remote Plugin. If you want to learn more, then hop over to the Streamlabs Chatbot discord. I've been away for a year and I'm searching sooo hard to find a comprehensive list of which features on the mobile app (irl streaming) are paid versus free to figure out what I can still do in the free.
My overlay and alerts weren't working the last time I tried to do an IRL stream despite me deleting/reinstalling the app, deleting/re-adding the overlay, reloading the alerts etc, and I was wondering if it was because some of it was paid features.
I'm catching up on known issues around alerts, less worried about alerts, more concerned about why my overlay image isn't working - any ideas? Talking about an image that is on my screen on mobile irl streaming, transparent and frames my stream, I used it for years on the same app previously but used to be a paid account
Hi, please follow the steps to resolve this issue:
- Log out of Streamlabs and all Streamlabs software that you may be using.
- After logging out, go here: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
- Then find Streamlabs (Twitch Alerts) or Streamlabs Dashboard & click Disconnect.
- Once you have done this, please log in to streamlabs.com or Streamlabs Desktop with your Twitch account
Please then open your alert box via web browser via https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox by clicking the Launch button towards the top right of the page, keep that open for at least one minute, then try following your channel from an account that hasn't already followed you.
NOTE: Events that weren't produced before this will not be shown on the mini feed or recent events pages.

I checked there already, seems as though all of the pages on ultra/prime don't list the features for mobile streamlabs for irl streaming. I would hate to bug support for that, I was hoping to find a quick yes/no answer here:

Yes all the apps/perks that are exclusive to the Ultra membership, once the membership ends they stop working.
I think the mobile irl streaming app still has some free features however, but yea, they don't make it clear which ones are paid vs free, the features just simply stop working it seems
A bit confusing - I'm also confused whether or not I need Prime or Ultra

Ok, so you can create your own with the free one, but the premade ones (Themes) are Ultra exclusive, also you get Disconnect Protection with Ultra, and that on mobile is very good. Also multi stream on mobile with Ultra.

Is this the first time you have used Streamlabs? If so, all you need to do is just log in and Streamlabs Desktop will read you stream key from your account. No need to manually set it up.
If you’re wanting to stream to a second YouTube channel, you would set that up by going to Settings -> Stream and adding a custom destination.

You should reach out to PayPal for assistance on recovery of that tip as Streamlabs doesn’t touch tips. And also be sure to disconnect and reconnect the correct email address in your tip setup.

Sounds like you are logged in with your Twitch account. Log out and log in with the YouTube account you have merged in Streamlabs.
There nothing Streamlabs can do on that, sorry. Please make sure your corrected your tip setup to avoid this going forward.
I have an issue with my mini-feed and in combination with that also with the alerts. Somehow some of the new followers don't show up on the Mini-Feed and don't trigger a alert. I have searched for an solution but didn't found anything yet. Someone an idea?

Note that this will not go back and recover events that were missed and Streamlabs doesn't detect a unfollow then follow back. You need a totally new follow for verification.
If you still don't see follow alerts then please reload your widgets. To do that. go to this page: https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/recentevents Go to the Live Actions tab, and scroll to the bottom. There should be a re-load widgets option!

Ok so as of now, it seems to allow me to capture the game and play it. This is a major step and helpful fix on the laptop. Only weird thing now is when I click off the game, it gets really glitchy and starts flipping upside down and stuff with stream labs. Not a deal breaker, but a bit offsetting I suppose.
Actually, It is now working some times but not every time. It is acting odd. Flipping upside down some, or freezing some.
Are you running the game full screen?

Currently running it full screen, and on a second monitor. Let me also say I used the gpu steps to for the game to run on high performance, restarted everything and it seems to be working now.

If you’re using game capture, it should just capture the game. If you’re going to capture both discord and Roblox but don’t want any other open applications captured you can add a window capture for discord and a game capture for Roblox. If you want to capture the whole screen you can add a display capture which will capture everything displayed on your screen as you see it.
what are the speed options under cpu encoding for? like whats the difference between super fast and placebo?
Placebo you don't want to touch it offers nothing to your streaming experience besides basically maxing out your system usage. Other speed options are for increasing quality on your broadcast simply put. The slower the encoder preset the more system resources and time it takes for pixels to be rendered at the highest quality possible.

Can't say for sure, that would be best found online to be honest from users who have the same CPU. Or just selecting an encoder preset > going live > adjusting > going live > repeat steps over and over to find what works best

There’s not a “best settings” due to the variety of hardware configs. Fast is usually fine for most PCs. If you’re running Xeon or Threadripper you can just set it to slow and laugh all the way to stream because they’re beast CPUs

If you don’t like the quality and aren’t seeing a performance hit, you can drop it just slower than fast and see how it performs.

So there isn’t an automatic scene switcher for Streamlabs Desktop. This means that you will need to have two separate scenes and either use hotkeys to switch between them or use the Streamlabs Control app to switch scenes.

Streamlabs Desktop for Mac doesn't have game capture functionality. Maybe you can capture the Vtuber program with a window capture source then use a green screen filter to knock out the background. Beyond that there may be a Youtube tutorial online with how to do that
yep i have the window capture and its set for chroma and the chroma works but it leaves the application bar at the top lol

oh ive already got the hardware, im trying to stream from my recording setup. my presonus usb interface works fine but its only 2 channels kind of hard when your streaming master stereo signal and a mic

Hi I recently got streamlabs and I've been wanting to record roblox on it at fast pretty good quality, i play roblox at lowest graphics settings so I thought it would be easy to record high quality stuff, I'm not an expert at any of this and I wanted to know how I can change my settings to fix my problem, my recordings are really pixelated/blocky and super laggy compared to how it looks when i actually play it, it's very fast when I play it just not when I record it
I am going to have to stream in the future but for now I just wanted to start recording with the software so I just need recording settings

Just hover on the one you want to remove and click Delete.

You can paste it in whatever channel, but that one is associated with the original channel! So if someone gives you bits on the original channel will go into that one, but not on the different one! It is tied to the channel where you copy it from.

There might be commands where your viewers can see how long you've been streaming for. But if you want my opinion, don't focus on the viewer count, ignore it. I pretend that I'm streaming to a lot of people and it makes me talk.

what you see on your streamlabs screen right now, is what they'll see. If you really want to see chat, put a chatbox in.
I’m on a single monitor and have overlay stuff up that has chat and follower bar and all that, but that has to be in the background so I can play the game

Yes. If there isn’t a way to keep them active I just need to know if there’s a basic overlay they have that will make it show for me but not for the viewers. It’s impossible to look up because both things are called overlays but they have different effects.

Were you running the bandwidth test while running a stream/recording?
I input the Twitch Inspector stuff at the end of my stream key in Streamlabs to ensure the bitrate I was using was ok. During this "stream test" I wasn't recording, but I was streaming if that makes sense. The stream wasn't visible within Twitch tho.

I did run a recording after and it still lagged like it did during the stream test.
First question, dual monitors?
I have three monitors. My main monitor is a 4K monitor. The other two are 1440p monitors.
Different refresh rates?
Yes. The 4K monitor's refresh rate is 144. The 1440p monitor's top out at 240hz, but are currently capped at 144. All three monitors are currently at the same refresh rate.
That’s probably the issue. If you cap them all at 120 (don’t shoot the messenger) it will probably get rid of the “stuttering”. When you’re trying to run multiple monitors at different refresh rates, computers tend to freak out a little and what looks like you’re having a stutter is simply the pc prioritizing frames for the faster refresh rates, causing an impact on your other monitor. It also is beneficial to set your refresh rates to multiples of 30 or 60 due to how PC monitors typically display, and how video encoding to platforms like twitch and YouTube don’t really support higher than 60fps anyways the 120hz won’t have an impact on capture, encode, or display.

I have a 165 and a 144 and they’re both capped at 60 because I’m rocking a 7 year old 1080. If I try to run different refresh rates on both I can’t watch Netflix without it looking like I’m on dial-up

I do indeed. I use my Ryzen to encode at 720p60 and have no issues 🙂

In addition to setting the monitors refresh rates to the same, set the FPS to the same value. Use multiples of 60.
What is your Internet upload speed, @stray ether?
After looking at the saved recording, It appears to function properly with no lag after watching it back. My Facecam is a little delayed though. So right now the Streamlabs preview is lagging, but the recordings don't I guess haha. My upload speed is 947+ (same for the download speed as well).
Are you running Streamlabs Desktop as administrator? If not, run it as administrator and see if that helps.

Sounds good. You can add a delay to try and fix that out of sync issue.

No, just the Dashboard. Is the icon circled on your end a pause icon like mine or a play button? ▶️
If you have a play button, your alerts are paused. Click it to unpause them.

Okay that’s good to know. Sounds like you need to refresh the connection between Streamlabs and the platform you’re using. Please follow the guide from the bot below. There’s sections for all the platforms we have integration for; just follow the one your streaming to.

Okay keep OBS Studio open and be in the scene where you have the alert box. I’ll subscribe to your channel. It might take a few minutes to come through as the YT API can sometimes be slow.

Hi there! So when you do a window capture you want to choose the Capture Specific Window and insert the window you want and in theory every time you open that window the capture will automatically grab it.
Also you shouldn't have any issues with MacOS as Streamlabs does support MacOS 🙂

since you're an ultra member, you should be able to reach out to them in a special channel for support under official support. But afaik you just add it as a custom destination in settings > stream

Yellow border is apart of Windows 10 capture hook, you can try using DXDGI for capture method within the Window source capture settings
Otherwise on Windows 11 it should be gone entirely

Note that for YouTube, by default, the viewers subscriptions are set private and thus when a viewer subscribes to your channel, Streamlabs cannot detect this subscription. The viewer would need to set their subscriptions public before subscribing. This is due to the privacy setting on YouTube and is not an issue with Streamlabs or anything at your end.

Skipped frames indicated that your encoder is overloaded.
Check for high CPU usage. If you’re using software x264 encoding, consider using a faster preset or start using hardware encoding (NVENC/AMD) and this will be less taxing on your CPU to encode the stream.

1). Set all your monitors to the same refresh rate in multiples of 60: 60, 120, 180, etc.
2) Set the FPS in the game to same value. If the game has such a setting.
3) Set the FPS in Streamlabs Desktop to the same value.

I already gave the permission for Streamlabs to be the moderator of my community and I already activate the chatbot... but it still not working on my Youtube Channel... I already start a public livestream too, i dont know if its necesary for the bot to work to be live
For YouTube, yes, you must be live with a Public stream and it can sometimes take 10 minutes for Cloudbot to start responding to commands. How long have you been live?
I have programmed the live to start in a few hours, but I wanted to know if the bot only works when starting
For YouTube you have to be live so you'll have to wait for your scheduled stream to start before Cloudbot will respond to commands.

There's not been an status indicator for the Cloud Backup in a long time. As long as you do not have the circled option below selected, your data (scenes and sources) are being backed up in the cloud.

I have been having issues with my alerts, The tests work just fine, but when I am live and someone actually follows, gives bits, subs or anything it will not play the alert at all. I have already gone through the trouble shooting and I am still having an issue. Any clue why this might be?

You can't import into another scene collection and exporting would have the entire scene collection. But you should be able to copy paste sources and scenes between scene collections

Just create it from scratch in Streamlabs Desktop.
For what I'm trying to do that's not an option really. I've made an alerts package that doesn't run on Steamlabs or stream elements, it's all handled in OBS (and could be handled in Streamlabs) and is controlled by a bot, but to give it to people, they won't be able to import the scene they need if they use streamlabs

So its just an image and sound to use in the Alert Box? You don't need a source for that. Users would just upload it to their Image Gallery or Sounds Gallery and then select the file from there. You don't add a source to add an image or sound for the Alert Box.
All you would have to provide is a ZIP file with the appropriately named WEBM files.

Hello - my followers are not being alerted nor showing on my mini feed when someone follows. Bits, subs and resubs all work but when someone follows the alert does not show nor does the cloudbot welcome text. It works for everything else. EVERYTHING is turned on, I’ve cleared cache, logged back in, removed and added, checked every single thing but absolutely nothing fixes it. This has been going on for two days now and it’s very frustrating. Thank you!

This issue with Twitch Follow alerts was resolved last week. Please follow the steps in this post: <#known-issues message> If you still are not receiving Follow alerts after completing those steps, please let us know. Also note that these steps will not go back and capture any event that was not captured.
Can streamlabs be used to only stream on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or Trovo?
Those are the platforms we have integration for, meaning chat, alerts, etc. You can another platform (that gives you a RTMP URL and stream key) by adding a custom destination in Streamlabs Desktop by going to Settings -> Stream.

No it is a scene with multiple sources, sounds, and text sources. The bot updates the text source text, then switches the source on with some images all at timed intervals. So that's why I'm thinking it's going to need to be WebM files
That's beyond the scope of this discord. But for what you're trying to do, I would create a new Scene Collection in OBS Studio and then export that from OBS Studio.

There's not that much difference between 180 FPS and 120 FPS. The end user won't be able to tell.

Ya the framerate/refresh rate won't affect resolution of stream. If you play at 4K and output to 1080p, it will look amazing. If you play at 1440p and output to 1080p it will look good too

Hello, do you know what could be the reason that after connecting an external microphone, the smatphone camera and streamlabs collect sound from the internal and external microphone at the same time. I would like applications to hear only the external microphone.

- Set the Keyframe specifically to 2. I find that the setting of 0 sometimes doesn't work.
- Switch to Integer FPS Values and type in 120.

Typically most monitors are 1920 by 1080, and you want your stream to be some factor of that (e.g. 1280 by 720 or 720p). The lower resolution you go, the higher quality you can make the video. If your game or source is not a standard widescreen resolution, then it typically is either ultrawide (like those crazy expensive monitors) or what is known as standard resolution or 640 by 480.

Odds are the game doesn’t have a widescreen aspect ratio as mentioned above. It most likely was made for a square aspect ratio screen, which means it will only display as a square

You have 2 options @lilac moat either you stretch the capture, but that will look not very good, or you get an amazing Ultra Theme to compliment the stream and fill in the blank sides!
Are you using window capture? If using window capture, it will capture the window “as-is” which means if you maximize the window it should change the window capture size in streamlabs desktop.

Yes, Cloudbot has had this functionality for a while now.
You have to enable and configure the Cloudbot Loyalty System https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/loyalty/settings and then build your Cloudbot Loyalty Store https://streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/store/items.
Add items as Sound Effect and then viewers can trigger them from chat with the !redeem command.
For example, if you have an item in your Cloudbot Loyalty Store call Jumpscare, it would be redeemed in chat via the command !redeem Jumpscare.

Sorry, that's not possible. You'd have to use the redeem command.
You can do this with just a custom command but you'd have to use our separate Streamlabs Chatbot https://streamlabs.com/desktop-chatbot>.
Chatbot is only available for Windows and only works with Twitch and YouTube.
Make sure that Cloudbot is a moderator on your channel and that its not banned or muted on your channel. If you keep having this issue, then please submit a ticket as there might be an issue that can't be resolved from your end. 👇

There is a third-party solution called TriggerFyre built by a former Visuals By Impulse dev that may accomplish what you’re trying to do. Weird. That issue from yesterday is long ago resolved. I would clear that cache in your web browser and then reboot your PC and then try again. If you still have issues, then shutdown your PC, pull the power cord from your cable modem and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes and then plug it back in. Once the cable modem is fully up, the. Boot your PC and try again.
The web site is up and reachable and we’ve had no reports today that I’m aware of where it wasn’t reachable.

Im guessing this is a Kick issue because I am able to stream to Youtube just fine.
@austere stag Note that Kick supports a maximum of 1080p so if your output resolution is larger then that would be why your are not live on Kick.

As you engage your GPU which includes rendering other applications, there will be a performance hit. If you’re running multiple monitors with differing refresh rates then it’s going to be even worse

So my question will be “what has changed?” Was it driver updates? CS:GO updates? Streamlabs updates? It’s difficult to say what the cause is due to how CS:GO when being captured requires you to disable valve anti-cheat in order to capture the game. There can be any number of things that could cause the issue. If streamlabs isn’t running as administrator or you have hardware acceleration enabled for widget sources, etc.
