If you just created your YouTube account, you may need to wait 24 hours before streaming due to YouTube's policy on new accounts. You also might need to verify your email address and/or phone number. Check your YouTube Studio for more information. Also make a new ticket and Bratley can assist you.

Quick help: Try going into your default apps in Windows > change your browser to a different web browser (it might be back to Edge now after a reset). Re-launch Streamlabs Desktop. Try again! Hello! I've been having issues with my Cloudbot not responding to the !watchtime command. I accidentally banned Streamlabs in my chat. After unbanning, I tried to disable Cloudbot and unmodded Streamlabs in my chat. I waited 10 minutes and then enabled Cloudbot and modded Streamlabs again. The command is still unresponsive while others still work. This issue has happened before, but I can't remember the solution.

Follow these steps to reset Cloudbot. Make sure Streamlabs is not banned on your channel.

1. Unmod streamlabs
2. Toggle Cloudbot off
3. Wait for at least 10 minutes
4. Toggle Cloudbot back on
5. Mod streamlabs
6. Wait 10 minutes before trying commands

Sounds good. Do I need to start from the beginning, or just try the command again in 10 minutes? I've already done steps 1 through 5, but I tried the !watchtime command before waiting 10 minutes.

If it is still not responding, try the steps again and just to be sure, type /unban streamlabs in your Twitch chat first before starting the steps.

So, certain commands are still working. Streamlabs is able to send messages in my chat. The problem is only related to !watchtime command. I even tried deleting the command and re-adding it.

Every system is different. There’s not a best settings we can give you. Here’s our guidelines. 👇🏻 Note that since you are including Twitch, you bitrate can’t be over 6000 which is the max for Twitch unless you are a Partner on Twitch.

No. Streamlabs Deskrop doesn’t currently have that capability.

The bitrate you set is what is used for each platform. The signal you send goes to Streamlabs and then we send it along to the platforms you specify.

New streamlabs user with what is probably a rookie question, so apologies in advance, but I couldn’t find a specific answer on YouTube.

I have a scene that contains a short movie. Like 3 seconds or so. I want to start a stream with that movie, then automatically change to a “stream starting soon” scene. I’ll handle moving from that to the game scene manually, but I’d like to somehow change scenes automatically once the video has played (maybe after a second loop if that’s possible).

Any ideas?

Seen some stuff about changing schemes based on hot keys, or when an app window opens, but nothing that changes when a media file finishes playing, or after a set number of loops.

Why are alerts getting cut off now? This was never a thing until this week. So if two things happen that trigger an alert, the first one that starts will get cut off if another is played right after. That includes if someone follows right after raiding. The raid alert will get cut off complete by the follow alert. What is causing that? Please fix.

Hey y’all, I just had a quick question. I use discord through my Xbox and I’m trying to make it where my viewers can hear my friends who talk through discord on stream. When I tested it how my setup currently is, they can hear them through party chat, but not discord. Any advice?

I searched this yesterday and one reddit thread mentioned that streaming from Xbox to Twitch itself does not output discord audio yet due to some app privacy settings being worked out between Xbox and Discord still. I think you should test streaming to Twitch directly and then switch back to Streamlabs back and forth to compare. It's likely more Xbox stream output related. @wraith pawn

Also, I can't say that there is no way to get this working. That is just what I have gathered so far from secondary sources (not primary).

The thing is it assumes I'm creating a big public application so it wants me to register the application, providing all my details and my address.
Meanwhile I just want to level up my own notifications without actually registering the thing.
I mean there is an access token in your dashboard, there has to be a way of using that without the whole OAuth 2 stuff...

You have to use the OAuth if you’re going to be using the API. The token used in the widgets is used internally and is different, as far as I understand it, from the API. You can ask all those questions in the ticket.

If you’ve not already received assistance, please log out of Streamlabs Desktop and quit Streamlabs Desktop. Also log out of the Streamlabs website using your default web browser and clear the browser cache in the default web brower. Then launch Streamlabs Desktop and log in with your Twitch.

There are apps out there that can allow you to create a separate audio channel that won't record/transmit on the stream, meaning only you would hear the audio.

This is true, like you could use application audio capture in Streamlabs Desktop as that is built in to capture the audio that you wish the stream to hear. But from what it sounded like they wanted the spotify to sound on stream, which in that case the safest option is to listen to non-copywrighted/stream safe music

Hey so I am trying to link paypal to my streamlabs account but it keep repeating on the same process which is (sign in to your paypal account when i clearly signed in multiple times) not only that but i chose to setup new business account separately to my personal but it still doesnt works? why?

Hi everyone, I apologise for sending a help question in the open chat, but I opened a ticket earlier that was legit closed within an hour with no reason given. Basically when I use multistream chat with Prime, my Youtube chat eventually stops feeding through without notice while Twitch keeps working just fine. As I do giveaways that require chat participation from everyone watching, I need my chat to show everyone talking so I don't miss anyone talking anymore. Any and all help is greatly appreciated 🙂

I gave you some steps to try in the ticket and after 90 minutes of no response I decided to close the live chat. This would happen again if it's inactive for a longer period of time. I would suggest using email tickets as they will be opened for much much longer before closed.

Oh no! It seems an update has messed all of my settings. I don't change it or set it up enough to remember. Only mic, unless you were to use 3rd party tools like virtual audio cables to reroute both your mic and window capture audio to an aux source in Streamlabs Desktop and use that as your mic in the collab cam source. So, when using XLR mics if you are also using that as your listening device [which you should if possible] the interfaces have a specific sample rate. My Rode for example needs a 48khz rate. if it is set wrong It will output no audio.

I would like to have a feature/app or whatever it would be called that would allow users to individually mute my sources of audio, so if someone doesn't want to listen to my music but still wants to hear me talk or hear the in game audio he would have the option in his browser to click the speaker button and check a box that's says mic only or allow in game sound and so on

Recommended bitrate values versus used resolution and FPS.

• For 1280x720 at 30FPS use 2200 up to 2800kbps.
• For 1280x720 at 60FPS use 3800 up to 5600kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 30FPS use 4400 up to 6200kbps.
• For 1920x1080 at 60FPS use (6000) 8700 up to 12500kbps.
• For 1600x900 or 1536x864 at 60FPS use at least 6000kbps up to 8600kbps.

<Note: These values are based for single-pc streaming setup, using x264 veryfast preset>

Using lower bitrates than listed is possible where allowed by the type of content or when using a better (slower) x264 preset or using RTX NVENC to have 6000kbps for 1080p60.
If you get pixelations on your stream, this would mean there is insufficient bitrate to properly encode the stream for the given content.```

Theres a ton of general information online for issues like that, but generally speaking your FPS has to match your refresh rate.

I'd look through Youtube tutorials online for assistance with screen tearing
