I got my hands on a Blade 15 (2018) Base that everyone thought was dead - no power adapter light no post. No fans, no nothing
(I'm certain that long-timers and official it probably will know this exact issue - anyone just venturing a guest will not be helping)
I could kind of tell that it presented like a hypercritical battery drain as it's seen in most other laptops - there were a few official matching chargers paired typical flea drain/boot - Seemingly nothing, but I have gotten other computers that people thought were long gone running again with this method - I also looked up official razor support materials which has 2.5 methods from official razor tech - two of which never involve opening the machine... The .5 it's basically the same as method two but you disconnect the CMOS.

And then on the off chance I plugged in a USBC charger (I was pretty certain this model did not have in charging through the USBC port, but I figured if it was already a loss, why not give it a shot?

It was not like immediate but after like 30 seconds, boom the keyboard lights up green and starts cycling RGB no warning lights, bios looks great. All of the temperatures are fine, it'll charge and keep a charge, it will install and run Windows, it can restart, but if I shut it down it doesn't seem to work until randomly 2 days later.... This last time I was running the BIOS update which all completed normally but when it shut down to do the final restart - nothing

I'm wondering if the thing over USB is like a tricked power on over ethernet? Am I actually having to do like a full hypercritical battery drain and like jump start it in the moment it gets the first trickle of electricity?

I am a seasoned computer technician and this is like the most convoluted type of problem I have ever had:

I tried like the handful of the AC/DC adapters which there were quite a few older ones, the one I'm currently using was a 180w

Is* and it would actively charge as I was doing all of the windows set up driver updates and it would Run on battery

Or once it had a charge it ran perfectly well on that battery off the charger

It was just weird. And I was near on 100% when I was running the BIOS updater

And trust me, I understand what might happen if a computer turns off or has a critical power loss in the middle of a bios update... But everything seems to be good and it was just doing the like. Okay, we're going to reboot into the updated bios

At this time frame if you go back to 7 years ago. Many many laptops had severe issues with hibernation settings, fast startup, pretty much anything that involves going into a deep sleep mode

So, only ever had the Razer Naga 2014 in terms of mice with Razer up until this Viper Pro v3. Been two days so far, feels great. Tad bit lighter than my Glorious Model D and I like that the Viper is slightly less arched at the peak.

Yes those are the options they sell. You can get other choice that fit. That will give you more space but you have to buy from supplier. Double check they fit.

Surprise surprise. I reinstall windows and THX spacial audio isn't working again.

I installed Synapse and made sure to restart my pc after everything was finished installing properly again, but there is no change when switching from stereo to spacial audio, and none of the enhancements work.

ngl at this point if I had the money I would buy full peripherals of a different brand considering the fact that synapse still doesn't work, and half the shit I buy from razer shows up faulty and then I get to fight with support for them to suddenly pretend they don't know English when I explain the issue. Legit last thing I bought was blackwidow v4 pro and it has faulty key switches which double pressed or ignored it 50% of the time (which is a known issue), and after asking for help from support several times each time they fight me to a point where I just give up. Its like i'm talking to a brick wall.

only thing I own that has actually lasted from razer is my huntsman elite which I've had for 7 years and even to know the E key is broken , I am forced to still use.

I had to go into windows device manager and disable and re-enable "THX Spacial Audio Effects Components" driver that it installed for it to finally start working.

Hello, everyone. New member to this server. I have a Chroma argb controller and have updated to Synapse 4. I have 6 In-win fans connected to the controller. When in use with SignalRGB, all the fans would work without issue. Once i started to play with settings i cant get the top two fans and the one at the back to light up/react. Front 3 react but are now stuck on Fire effect. Any help on how to remedy these issues would be a great help

I wouldn't invest in a high end cooling pad unless you got a high spec laptop(which is around 1-2k depending on your budget, but then I would suggest a PC if you're paying that price at that point unless you want portability). I used to have a 20-30 buck amazon cooling pad and they work just as fine.

Also consider to undervolt your cpu if it goes above 95 Celsium, it should help reduce the temperature will performing around the same.

I have the RTX3080TI and AMD RYZEN 9 6900HX version. In PUBG for example, all low setting, it gets 40-70 fps. In CS2, around 100-120 max, again, on the lowest possiblr settings.
The idle processor temp is 90-95° (Celsius)

No luck. When I run the USB dongle utility, it immediately wants to only pair to my keyboard. Through the synapse app, the "Open Pairing Utility" is greyed out on the mouse when plugged in via USB. When I unplug it, it disappears from my synapse so I can't try to open it again.

I check razer insider website. They normally work great after pairing the first time.

I have seen a few pairs need a slow charge if older 1 Amp or less charger for 24 hours seem to help. Other tips you can get from support if it's a Bluetooth pairing problems.
